Came here for my sisters wedding and from what I believe the old owners had let it drift. The pub now though is lovely and welcoming and the Wedding there was a fabulous time. We ate there on the Friday before it and the food was top notch. I will be looking to come back and stay in the future as its a lovely place

My fiancé and I live very close and frequent often, each time we've been we have been greated warmly and with a smile, always very friendly and the coffee is a lovely treat, plus seeing dogs inside is a plus We've taken family to have coffee and catch-up because of how nice and cosy it feels

Breakfast finishes at 11am. After that, there are choices of light lunches in big portion sizes. There are also two or three options of afternoon tea , could even have had a Prosecco if wanted. We chose The Churchill afternoon tea which is more of a savoury choice . It is so plentiful. Really tasty. With a ‘soup-son’ of home cooking. We had a superb experience. I can not recommend the service and atmosphere enough. Our tiny puppy poodle had a thrilling fun time with them too. They happily welcome well behaved dogs ( we just scraped through on that one ;-) ) If I could mark this experience a ten out of five … I would .. set in lovely surrounds too. Thank you to the two sisters who run this amazing place, that is running on love and kindness.

Very nice cosy pub with friendly staff, just had drinks so can't comment on food. Had an open mic singing night while there and that was fun to listen to. Beer we had was tasty and well kept, will visit again.

Visited on Saturday 28th December for the usual breakfast. Plenty of choice on the menu for breakfast, lunch etc, and a good choice of drinks. When we got there it was quite cold in the cafe which i really dont like, but thats just my preference. The cafe is run by a couple who were friendly and the service very good. Both myself and the wife went for the Full English at £7.70 with 2 toast. Food was lovely and hot and tasty, the sausages really nice as was the bacon. My only gripe in any cafe when visiting is the sauce. I expect good quality brown sauce and ketchup and in this instance was let down as it affected the taste of the very well cooked breakfast. I usually carry a couple of sachets of HP Brown sauce just in case, but forgot on this occasion. Cafe`s like this need support and this is a lovely little cafe so people of Kettering and surrounding areas, make sure you visit here for good food at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking in and around. Overall a great cafe, just change your sauce please, but again thats me being picky.

Stayed for one night and had a fabulous evening meal. Wednesday night steak night. 8 oz steak chunky chips with mushroom sauce and salad with a glass of Merlot thrown in for good measure. All for under £20. Excellent food and value. Good choice of ales and top notch service from everyone. Thoroughly recommend
