Me and my partner came for Sunday dinner today! The food was amazing I would say the best Sunday dinner I’ve had out ever! We will be regular visitors! The staff were lovely especially our server Millie! Thank you so much for a lovely outing this afternoon xx

Hope you remember me, we came last sunday with my wife and 2 children around 1PM. Food was good but you asked me to proceed to payement 2 times because your bank card reader doesn't work. I see now that I have been taken 2 times !!! I can't find your email, Instagram or other, so tell me when you will process the refund. I hope your are a serious restaurant.

Banging place to eat, Rupert’s food is incredible

Some family members and I had brunch on a Friday evening. It was outstanding. The food was outstanding and the drinks were flowing. Our server Millie made the whole experience exceptional and I cannot thank her enough for her care and attention.

Popped in today for a drink after work, venue very clean a young girl was being inducted and the lad doing it was very thorough with everything and both were really welcoming. Menu looks really good so I'll be back Sunday for dinner.

Natalia is an amazing and mixed us some amazing drinks.my friend and I stopped for drinks and brunch and it was a beautifully decorated and clean place. Super friendly, super cosy day or night. We had the absolute best cocktails. I had 2 different types of margaritas and a passion fruit martini. Both were exceptional. My friend had an old fashioned and said it was the best she’s had. Really impressed, 10/10, would recommend to friends.

They advertise 90 mins of bottomless brunch, this certainly wasn’t the case and we received on spit her between a group of friends. Very disappointing considering we also paid the extra money to upgrade our cocktails. Need more staff so they can actually be attentive to customers and refill there drink that they paid for.

Have come to Old Market Inn many times and absolutely love their bottomless brunch! They accommodate the menu for gluten free options as I have coeliac disease and drinks for my friend who cannot drink vodka. The vibe is always so nice and it is a good night out! Molly is fabulous and always makes you feel so welcome whenever she is on shift!

Had a great night at Mexican themed night but thought it was bottomless so felt it was overpriced for the 1 cocktail and amount of food that was given, but the food was beautiful and staff are always very attentive.

Been here a few times for bottomless brunch now and we always have a great time! Staff are excellent at keeping drinks topped up and are very attentive to your needs. Food is also of a very good standard. Highly recommend!!

We had with wife a lovely Saturday in Market Inn. We ordered 2 burgers . The food was delicious, come very quick , the staff very friendly and helpful

Disappointed as had friends recommend to me that this place was great for a bottomless brunch but this did not live up to expectations. We wanted to sit in the garden as it was really hot inside but we sat out there for 30mins and no one came to us even though my friends and I told the staff we were there. Then when they did we were told we had to pay at the start for our brunch because we were sitting outside and because two of the six of us weren’t drinking just ordering food and buying separate drinks. We then went inside but was then told we still had to pay in advance we did as we felt pressured as it was so hot and had been waiting. Service was really slow one of the waitresses was lovely and it was clear there weren’t enough staff on for a bottomless brunch. We were only able to get two cocktail pitchers during the 90mins food took an hour to arrive and the pizzas were bland and doughy and the chicken was burnt. The cocktail pitchers were really weak and clearly did not have much alcohol in although they did taste nice. Then when we had finished, staff never came over to ask us if we wanted more and in the end one of my friends had to go to the bar and ask for a bottle of Prosecco which they weren’t happy about initially but agreed. I unfortunately don’t think it was worth the money on this occasion and it has put me off going again. Had to go over the road to another bar to get an actual drink. Feel like this could have all been sorted if more staff had been working.

Food was well disappointing. Had chicken burger... chicken tasted like it had plastic fork melted inside... bacon not fully cooked. My wife had beef burger which was overcooked and to dry... music was playing in the background which was ok untill staff had increased volume which forced people shout.... staff not professional at all, i stood by the bar and tried to get their attention to place the order... might be ok for pint or two but not for evening meal...

It’s sad to say as we have had a previously good experience together at this establishment but the overall experience feels spoiled because of tonight. Firstly, our drinks were handed to us in a very rude manner by a younger man in glasses who didn’t acknowledge or converse with either one of us and placed the drinks down very rudely and proceeded to go on his phone so we didn’t feel comfortable to ask for a straw. Our drinks were very flat sadly and when we spoke to management about this young staff members behaviour it was shrugged off and put down to ‘he’s training’ as if that made it excusable and when the food arrived it didn’t get any better. Our garlic dough ball starters were hard and the only edible part of them was the middle due to the toughness and overall lack of flavour and the garlic butter that was included didn’t have even a hint of garlic it just tasted like pure butter. We waited 45 minutes altogether for our starters and our mains and this is whilst it was very quiet customer wise. My partners burgers which is the market burger arrived and there burger was burnt and tough as if it had been left on the grill for far too long the bottom half was black and the overall presentation was sloppy and mine was the buttermilk burger was over fried and grilled to death my chicken was fried for so long that it was painful to swallow. I was deeply dissatisfied and disappointed as I had such a good time previously and old market inn isn’t cheap it’s reasonable for the usual experience but today was terrible

I just had to say just had the tasiest Bao Buns yesterday!!!! Perfect amount of softness in buns, tasty filling and crunching topping. Will def return for another nibble. The lady who served me is so friendly too, and always remembers me from when I go in drinking! Nice personal touch, def recommend

We have been here many times for lunch. Unfortunately today did not live up to expectations. Firstly the starters took 40mins to arrive, and were mediocre at best. The mains came out and I can only describe my “crispy” chicken as “dead as a dodo”!...

Had a great meal. Well priced, good sized portions and served up quickly.

I turned up at 7:20ish on a Friday night, i asked if there would be a wait on food and was told no but there is a big table going through so if I’m quick will be fine. I ordered at 7:26, waited 50 minutes...

Located in the "Cultural Square".... Barely old enough staff with a casual/arrogant attitude behind the bar & way too clicky with Locals. The price of the drinks absolutely does not match the level of service in this place.... (Overpriced & Overrated)- Might as well go to a Weatherspoons. Go across the Street for superior service @ the same price without the attitude 👍

Friendly bar staff, basic food menu for Christmas. Only let down was that the set menu for the same items is more expensive than the main menu. We thought we had been overcharged but this was not the case. Even after an explanation I do think it's quite misleading to do this.

The best pub in Kettering! The staff are just gorgeous, welcoming and chilled, lovely food. The atmosphere is homely, relaxed but also buzzing. Great undercover outdoor area with heating.

Really disappointed and frustrated after visiting this place with friends on Saturday. I ordered the vegan burger specifically from the vegan menu, as I am lactose intolerant, as well as vegan. I was served normal cheese as well as coleslaw but only realised after I started eating it and checked with the waiter. Both the waiter and manager seemed completely disinterested and did not take this seriously at all. If I'd had a more serious allergy, this could have been dangerous. I strongly advise that the restaurant train up their staff to deal with dietary requirements (as well as improve their customer service skills) to prevent more serious consequences in the future.

A nice pub but one with quite a local vibe, and it’s a little basic on the inside. However don’t let that put you off cause the staff are friendly and the drinks all reasonably priced for the area. There’s a pool table which is pretty unique these days, a good atmosphere, and while not a huge amount of seating for a busy evening it’s somewhere which still felt comfortable. It’s nice to find a more authentic place and I’d happily return again for a drink.

Went out for a belated birthday meal with my son Ordered pulled beef chilli and Rice was obviously frozen and after being told by waitress to be careful as food was hot, It was cold Discreetly spoke to bar staff and was told food was microwaved. I was not offered a refund as I did not eat any of the food. I will NEVER go to this venue again. Please avoid 1 star given as I couldn’t give zero

All good.. We called in here on New Year's Eve just for drinkies.. Once we'd sorted out the faf with ordering via the app, it was great.. Friendly staff and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere..

Pub design is beautiful, nice place to sit in and Relax, went in for Sunday roast which was unfortunately disappointing - for the price its quite little portion, its filling but no taste, gravy and chicken were quite tasteless. Staff were super lovely and friendly but not happy with food.

Had a brunch for my bday. Natalia served us she was amazing! (All the staff was) we never had to ask for anything. When one drink finished before we even realised more was on our table. Food was really nice & drinks too! Will 100% be back xx thank you xx

The Old Market Inn is always a crowd favourite! I visited on Sunday to try their NEW Sunday Lunch menu and as always the Old Market Inn did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was amazing. The staff are always friendly and make you feel so welcome. Definitely recommend!!!

Sadly they got it wrong for mother's Day lunch. We were told only 12 noon was available, so booked it. Lunch arrived at 1:30pm....a full venue with only 4 staff serving tables. A disappointing event, hopefully they will learn from the experience as a previous lunch was fine, albeit not a busy one.

I’ve had brilliant experiences here previously but today was just shambles and I was so embarrassed to have picked this venue for our Mother’s Day meal 😩 When we arrived we ordered our drinks and waited 20 minutes until we chased to which they said the receipt at the till fell on the floor - when they delivered the drinks they were missing 3 of our drinks. When ordering the starter I asked them to serve the food plain to which she said “the sauces come in separate bowls” which I planned on giving to my family. An hour passed and we had to chase (please bear in mind the starter was cheese, pate and bread and bread with oil - no cooking needed) when they did arrive the sauce was on my food and not in separate bowls - I would of asked for a new one but I couldn’t be bothered waiting an hour again. We wanted to order additional sides with our main but were only asked to order starters at the beginning and no member of staff throughout asked us if we were happy with our food. When the mains did come out they were hardly warm and had hardly any gravy (again we would of complained but it was 6pm at this point and we arrived at 4:30 - we couldn’t be bothered waiting and would have left but we already paid a deposit for 3 courses) we asked for some sauces, and had to chase as they forgot to bring them to us. When it came to ordering dessert we were told they only had 1 menu option left (should have told us at the beginning really as a heads up) and we asked for a refund of our 3rd course and left). I have heard the kitchen is struggling to recruit staff at this place hence the reduced menu so I can’t fathom why they went ahead with today as they clearly didn’t have enough people there to support? Also in initial communications we were asked to confirm our meat choices over email, maybe next time they should ask for our starter and puddings to avoid such chaos. Would not recommend at all, especially on a Sunday as the staff cannot cope, hopefully next time I visit it will be better as this is my go to place :)

I booked here for Mother’s Day after two very lovely experiences previously. I must say my family and I on this occasion, had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Our drinks order was incorrect and took half an hour to fix We waited over 2 hours for our food When the chicken arrived it was pink and we were told by our waitress “oh it looks alright to me” And we were not offered any compensation other than the chicken roast being taken off the overall bill (considering we didn’t eat it this probably should have been a given.) The manager in charge was very dismissive in handling our concerns and not to mention spilling the drink over my brother I mean if it wasn’t meant to be a nice meal, it would have been funny. But will not be returning

We had booked for a Saturday night which was very busy but we had to still wait half an hour for a table I suppose you can't blame them for being popular so we ordered our food and drinks on the app but when 40 minutes had passed and we had drank our drinks we enquired where our food was and only then we were told to expect 45min to 1hour wait on food ? But we're giving a free drink of our choice and waited another 15min and our food was ready which was buttermilk chicken burger and fries the burger was really good and generous and so we're the fries we also had bao buns which were really nice and truffle cheese topped chips which were OK but not anything amazing and calamari which was nice but a but a bit chewy and a cheese and garlic bread pizza which was greasy and the base was either undercooked or just soaked in grease

Several times when friends from London come to stay over in Kettering we chose The old market inn, and frankly I wouldn't consider anywhere else.The place has been perfect on every occasion.

The food was amazing and it was actually quite surreal for me as I spent most of my twenties in there watching bands with friends. But what they've done to the place is top notch.

Orders via their app did not go thru despite getting a notification to say they did. Staff member appeared 20 minsater to inform us we hadnt ordered. As a result all 3 of us got our food at different times so we didnt eat together. The food was nice but the experience was ruined by the ordering issues.
