Me and two friends went for just some cake and coffee. I called up a day before to book a table on a Sunday and was told we didn’t need to book for just cakes. When we arrived we where told they only have people for roast dinner on Sundays and I explained about the phone call, so he sat us down about 20mins after we got our cake and coffee we where told we had to leave in 5 minutes as they had somebody coming in for the table we had to leave without finishing our drinks or cake and paid full price. This was absolutely disgusting behaviour and a waste of money

We had a voucher for afternoon tea and ordered a take away. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh. The tray was impeccably laid out and had a varied choice of sandwiches, savoury pastries and cakes. Also we had a choice of scones to choose from. We settled on fruit and had a small pot of jam and a tub of cream. We even had some tea bags!! All in all it was wonderful and we will definitely be ordering a takeaway tea again. Well done to the staff and thank you.

We booked in for afternoon tea today (27/9) I have to say that it was absolutely scrumptious and the whole experience was superb! The table setting was very well presented, the sandwiches, the savoury selection and the cakes were so delicious! We were even given the option of fruit, cheese or raspberry and almond scones! The staff were attentive and made sure we had plenty of tea and coffee - Thank you to all of the team at the tea room for a lovely experience! If you haven’t been, we highly recommend visiting!

Was brought here on my birthday for afternoon tea which was wonderful. The view out the window was very picturesque. We did have to wait a while for the food to be prepared but it was so worth the wait, everything was fresh and tasty. We were quite late in the afternoon and the choice of scones was limited so we chose one of each and shared so we all had a taste of each and I can honestly say they were all delicious. My only criticism would be the tiny cups of coffee one cup is included in the price but it's so small and needed to order a second cup. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Slow service, average food. When we ordered, they asked for upfront payment but refused to tell us how long the wait was for what we ordered. We waited for nearly 40 minutes. If you're on route, it's not worth the wait. The view however is lovely.

Lovely little place to eat. Took my girls for an afternoon tea. Arrived and told there would be a wait of around 20-25 minutes...not bad...even better when we were sat 10 minutes later! Bonus! I ordered an afternoon tea for myself and wanted 2 little glebe lunches, yes it states for 12 and under, however, I have a very fussy 17yo and was told very rudely by our waitress that no she can't have it, we are very strict on our policy and there is no movement or leeway. Fair enough, but when informing her that my 17yo is fussy again she said no we are very strict, no sorry or apology given. I get there is an age limit, but working in hospitality myself, I know there can be some discretion given. The lady was rude, dismissive and just felt like she didn't want to be there. And this came across in the way we were spoken to. I would visit again as the food was fresh and delicious. You can see the care and love within the food served. Well done to the kitchen team. Younger servers were helpful and smiley so this helped the experience a little.

Good views, ordered a panini but gave the wrong order. When I challenged this and they said nothing, I accepted the order but asked for the chips that were due with my order, this was given. Later, told, they put the wrong order through and I now had to pay for the chips they gave. Also told no coleslaw available which comes with our order. They should have checked and looked into the order then, rather than wait for us to finish and charge us extra. Just not very nice.

We visited Glebe Farm Tearooms and thoroughly enjoyed our time there the food was good and worth the trip there. Based on that we decided to buy gift voucher for afternoon tea for our friends, unfortunately this was not a good experience. After waiting too long for the voucher to arrive I contacted the office who said there was nobody there on Monday but would call me around 9am on Tuesday, once it got to 11 am no calk so contacted again. The young woman I spoke clearly would gave preferred not to take the call. No apology for delay just said it was still pending no help to me, after I pushed she said she would take the voucher and post that day which she did and I received the next day. The overcharge on postage and attitude was not acceptable. So I would not use this service again but Hooe our friends enjoy a lovely afternoon tea.

Having had previous good experiences here before, I was looking forward to breakfast this morning. It was only once we had been seated we were advised that there were no sausages (most breakfast items on the menu include sausage). No bother, not the end of the world so settled for a breakfast bap and asked, taking into account there would be no sausage and expected to pay the same price I politely requested mushrooms as a replacement. Wow, what total game changer. Staff became passively rude and through gritted teeth we were presented with our food....minus drinks which we had still not received. I reluctantly paid and again could feel our presence was not welcome (I assume because of small request of mushrooms). The food is overpriced however I am happy to pay the extra for a pleasant environment and customer experience both of which were severely lacking on this occasion. For this reason I will not be returning.

I met two friends here today, our first visit. Our name was taken and we were told two other groups were ahead of us for a table. We waited. More people arrived. And more. After 45 minutes, we were told we had a table, then told no, someone else was getting it. Then, with no apology, that once seated, there would be a 30 minute wait for food. Then, a group of two got a table even though we were next. At that point, we left. The attitude was dreadful on top of the disorganisation. We won’t be bothering again. We decamped to the nearby Brewers Fare where we received a warm welcome and a lovely meal.

Visited today for afternoon tea. It states on the afternoon tea menu online that you can have luxury afternoon tea including china tableware, on Saturdays after 2.30pm. However on arrival another table was being set up for luxury afternoon tea. The service was very basic, a drink was missed from the order which I had to ask for when the food arrived. I’ve visited numerous times before and really enjoyed coming but this time was a lot different.

Please don't get me wrong the food was very well cooked & tasted lovely but I had a full breakfast with black pudding £1 extra & a large latte & all I got was a pound coin change out of a £20 note . Apart from tasting nice it wasn't piled high or cooked by Gordon Ramsey so when did things become so so so expensive. I really think you need to check your price's. Other things on the menu like a toasted sandwich £10, maybe it's me because ss people say it's always busy at weekends !!

The roast turkey was lovely and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, especially the vegetarian selection. The food is not worth the price, £11 for a sandwich you expect good quantity or excellent quality, this was neither, shop bought cheap bread, not toasted, chicken out of a packet, padded out with salad and crisps but nothing special enough to justify the price, if you season the chips they had potential to be nice but arrived sweaty after being in a plastic container, in general very overpriced I wouldn’t be upset if it was more in the £6-£7 range.

Great food. Lovely setting. The only criticism, we wanted to sit outside so placed an order inside and when an outside table became empty we quickly moved to an outside table. The waiting staff found it hard to transfer our order to an outside table. Just a little jobsworth. Other than that excellent food.

Very nice cosy pub with friendly staff, just had drinks so can't comment on food. Had an open mic singing night while there and that was fun to listen to. Beer we had was tasty and well kept, will visit again.

Love bewitched coffee! I go every weekend for a quality cappuccino before we go butchers and it'd always a lovely start to our Saturday. Staff are so friendly xx

Classic traditional British cafe with a chilled atmosphere. Friendly, family run. Took my two kids (10 & 12) for brunch. Said they liked it because it was like ‘bobs burgers’ 😉 traditional English breakfasts, paninis, baguettes and tasty smoothies. Great value. My kids are nagging to come back - they’re tired of fast food at McDonald’s and KFC

This is the best cafe in Desborough. Lovely homemade produce that’s looks delicious you will be spoilt for choice. Superb coffee and the staff are smiley and welcoming. The sausage rolls are perfection!
