Amazing breakfast in Market Harborough on the high street. Wonderful place with a view of the church. The smashed avocado on taste was really sumptuous and the coffee was amazing. Great service from a family run place.

Lovely cafe with great service. Been several times, have had lunch, afternoon tea and just a coffee and cake. Food has been delicious every time and like the fact they use natural ingredients.

When I wrote a review for this delightful venue in August I had no idea that I would have the opportunity to revisit in September but our coach once again stopped in MH for a break so I hot footed it to Ruffles and experienced the same welcome as previously. They offer a variety of themthe most delicious home made scones as well as other goodies. Helpful staff, great service. I really enjoyed my tea and scone and maybe one day the coach will stop at MH again. This town has so much to offer, and is well worth a visit.

Recently moved to Market Harborough from London and have been wanting to try this place for a while. I had the breakfast burrito and can easily say it was probably one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. The coffee is great too. I’ll be returning lots!

We visited to see Santa and have lunch. What an amazing experience!! Very festively decorated - nothing was to much trouble and Santa and his elf's were so friendly - our son (who is deaf) didn't miss out on any of the atmosphere and was fully included - fantastic food for lunch and delicious cakes, no dinner needed tonight as the portions are very generous. Great job team! We will see you soon and definitely be back to see Santa next year! Thank you and Merry Christmas

We hired the Settling Rooms for a family Christmas event and it was perfect! The team on the night was amazing and catered to our every need. Even though it was a short notice booking, Kelly and the team made sure the food was great and that everyone had a great time on the night. Totally recommend!

Great food and service here- I had the sausage and mash but when my mum got the steak- it was slightly undercooked so I wouldn't recommend that... But of course the desert was FAB!!!!!! The texture of them all were great and I love the selection! The atmosphere is average because of the car park- otherwise, great!!

Have not been able to come for the longest time and have missed The Barn terribly since I moved away . It was a joy to find Liz and Claire still there and as friendly as they ever were . Their “ unique “ humour never ceases to brighten my day !!!! Over the years the place has changed so much but still carries sone lovely unique pieces and i have never struggle to find a gift when needed . Coffee always hot , cakes always outstanding ( Lemon Drizzle and Peanut Butter Brownie 🤤) . Don’t ever change , Cass 🥰

Market Harborough is a fantastic market town with lots of independent shops. The Garage Bakehouse seems to be a good example of a small business and there was a queue. Everything smells good and it is well laid out so I was looking forward to buying. The service was chaotic (which should have been a red flag) and the older lady serving seemed flustered. I opted for white bread and a small selection of cakes. The bread was odd, I'm guessing it had not risen properly (not sure), it tasted wrong. The cakes were OK, although the order was incorrect. I decided to go back to complain later in the day, but it had closed, so I missed my chance. Perhaps this was a bad day at the bakery, but I will not bother again.
