Lovely little cafe, great selection at great prices too! Staff were lovely and welcoming. Food & coffee was fantastic! Great little place to go for breakfast/brunch.

Ate here 2 times last week, great quality food, no “bull”, great value, have had most of the menu here (recently updated menu). Had a steak pot pie with mash and veg, fantastic. Following night had a steak with mash and veg, again, fantastic. Both meals nice and hot, and cooked beautifully, great value. Staff are all lovely Why can’t everyone do this???

This cafe is a nice stop off on our canal walks & is fine for the whole family. We took our granddaughter for lunch & even though they were short staffed, and very busy, the wait wasn’t unreasonable. Besides, I can think of worse places to spend my time. We had sandwiches which were lovely & fresh and toasties which were packed and also very tasty. Even with our drinks it was less than £20

My wife and I are walkers and we love to find great Tea Shops. We pride ourselves on being Tea Shop connoisseurs and would definitely rate Baker’s Dozen in our top 3! Great tea, huge choice of great homemade cakes, delicious savouries of various kinds, ingredients sourced locally. Super service; friendly and efficient, thank you so much, we are going to plan our next walk to include your good selves on our route. Very highly recommended! x

A lovely place to enjoy a delicious home cooked lunch, sandwiches or home made cakes at reasonable prices in pleasant surroundings and lovely welcoming staff. We always look forward to going there when we have to visit Clacton hospital as it is just across the road. Do give it a try!

Ambiente encantador y muy buen sándwich. Muy razonable precio también. Personal muy amable. Vi gente literalmente haciendo cola alrededor de la manzana. Ven aquí por un bocadillo para llevar o coge una de las pocas mesas si puedes.

Gran servicio y una amplia selección de deliciosos almuerzos ligeros y postres y pasteles caseros lejos del bullicio de la ciudad en un delicioso oasis verde.

I came in here with my family and i absolutely loved it! The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was amazing and presentation couldnt be better! without a doubt coming back soon!

Me and mum had a panini each with a tea and mocha, it was delicious. Lovely decor, great service and will be back. Also lots of space to take the pram in.

I has been living in Portugal many years and I love Portuguese food and people because usually are friendly as was staff on this place. I was looking for a good coffee and I found a Portuguese coffee that was not cheap but great. After I eat a Full British breakfast that was correct. I miss bras cod, bife a Portuguesa and many dishes that I wish can taste here

The coffee was delicious. The cakes and pastries looked lovely. Were spoilt for choice, settled with the gingerbread cake which was divine. Excellent service. Lovely surroundings. A definite go to place. You wont be disappointed

Great night. Been a few times now. This time for live music and a lovely pulled pork burger with fries and slaw. Always a great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Food has always been lush. Great with friends or as a couple. When the suns out the outside is a lush spot to watch the sunset too.

Visited with Family for breakfast, as usual, service was with a smile and the food was enjoyed by all, with good portion sizes….. tea and coffee is good too… I went for the mushrooms on toast and added some hash browns as I love em and was not disappointed…. Great place for couples, family to meet friends for breakfast, lunch or just drinks and cake….. very clean and tidy place too

A lovely breakfast every time. Nice friendly atmosphere and always happy to see you. Definitely worth a visit and look forward to our Saturday mornings here.

Very good for lunch. I enjoyed their garlic mayo chicken wrap and chocolate orange tart. Would very much recommend to anyone.
