The best cornish pasties! Beats rowes hands down. Brilliant Baker! Also the cakes are great! Really glad we gave this bakery a try. Sadly it was on our last day in Cornwall. We will be back!

Lovely local homemade bakery. Called in whilst staying in the area and bought fresh bread, caramel slices and rocky road, all delicious. It is also a small cafe.

We got a takeaway breakfast roll, sausage roll and caramel slice! Lots of sweet treats to choose from. Lovely welcoming staff. It’s a shame they had sold out of Pasties! We will be back to try these soon.

If ever I am locked in somewhere please may it be here! Such a lovely welcome after a long walk. This is no ordinary cafe bakery. Loose leaf tea and cake to die for! And after 20+km we need both!

The Bakers Dozen is a small balery & coffee shop with seating for about 15 people. We stopped for coffee & cake. There was an excellent choice of cakes - they were delicious & the coffee was excellent. They also sell a range of pasties- we had a cornish pasty & a chicken & cream cheese - both really tasty. A real gem in the small village of Cubert - definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I love this bakery! Delicious bread and pastries, and you can’t miss out on the pasties as well. I am partial to the chicken and cream cheese pasty but my husband prefers the original Cornish pasty. Nice selection of Cornish teas and salts as well.

The best pasty I have ever eaten, bar none. So monumentally delicious are the pasties here that I’m willing to have a tops-off dust up in the car-park with anyone who might disagree. Incidentally there is no car park but on street parking is plentiful. The Baker’s dozen is a charming deli/bakery that serves a myriad of delicious things, but frankly I was too distracted to focus on anything else. Besides, my sister in law bought every cake in sight so the shelves are probably bare for the foreseeable anyway. I can unequivocally recommend the large Cornish pasty, and am willing to stake my entire reputation on it. It’s slightly bigger than a bagpipe and stuffed to the gills with steak. Im given to understand that BD tears it’s own meat, and sweet baby Jane can you taste the difference. It is, quite frankly, an out of body experience. My other half had a sausage roll bigger than King Kong’s finger, which was also a taste sensation. Finally, the coffee is excellent and served in charming Beatrix Potter cups. If I’m being completely honest I’d have preferred a Peter Rabbit on my cup but I’ve also had a soft spot for Jemima Puddleduck anyway. Five Thumbs Up.

Best Pasties ever This bakery is an absolute Gem. The Pasties are epic, (best meat in a Pastie I have ever had), Cakes are awesome.....and try the Breakfast Pie for a treat. I ordered a load of Pasties to take home to Hampshire with me....nothing but great feedback. Well done Dan and many thanks (just finished my last Pastie now!)

Really lovely bakery. So much on offer here. Can’t understand the poor reviews. The prices are very reasonable and it’s clean and well stocked.

Bought a pasty, which looked to be hand made rather than mass produced, as in Cornwall expected it to be good. Although there was a lot of filling, the pastry and meat was so dry and the rest of the filling was poorly seasoned. I would recommend the ones sold in the local Londis store, but unfortunately they had already sold out.

Stopped in to try their pasties and wasn't disappointed! Had a steak pasty and a cheese and veg and both were delicious! Great after a long walk on Bodmin moor. Was so good we stopped off on our way back to London to pick up some goodies for family to try. Great place, and very friendly!

I bought a tasty sausage roll as a takeaway lunch. There was a variety of local produce on sale, such as jams and chutneys. Whilst there, I also picked up some frozen burgers, bread rolls and sea salt / pepper mixture. Nice shop and pleasant service.

We visit the Baker's Dozen every year we come down to Holywell, and everything is perfect. The pasties, the coffee but most of all the 'baker' who I think is called Daniel. Ever so friendly, he makes you want to revisit. So much so we went there twice in one week.

Took a trip to the village and spotted this lovely little place so wandered inside to browse.Lots of homemade cakes and bread so took a few back with us. Very expensive for what you actually get and the Steak Pasties were very dry and awful to be honest. Cake selection we too back were average at best

Stumbled across this by accident on our way to Holywell Bay. The shop/cafe is delightful stuffed full of cakes and breads. We were hoping for a sandwich, but they didn't have any, but did have pasties and sausage rolls. I opted for a delicious large toasted teacake and a slice of chocolate flapjack (one of the best i've ever tasted). I bought a few things to take home, wish i'd bought more. They also had a gluten free range. The only slight annoyance was on our arrival the staff didn't appear interested in serving us, the manager/owner was pre-occupied with a cake he was preparing for what turned out to be a group of his friends. The younger man who served us was in the end very helpful and efficient.

Staying in the village we were looking forward to trying the famous Cornwall cream scone in this inviting looking bakery and coffee shop. Sadly, although only 1.30 in the afternoon jn August they had no cream left. Also had to check if there were any scones left. In fact during our visit the lady in charge seemed to spend most of her time apologising for what they didn't want have. Scones were only average.

What a gem! We had no idea where to go for lunch but chose the shed; a great choice! The steak was so good and the sole cooked to perfection. Great wine, appetisers and dessert to boot. Fantastic value and the service was great Thank you so much.

The staff were friendly, the service was prompt, the food was good. It's about as good as you could hope for from a family friendly restaurant at the price that it is.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.
