Great service and a wide selection of delicious tange of light lunches and home made desserts and pastries away from the bustle of the city in a delightful green oasis.

Believe the reviews! Was looking for a place to have a wholesome brunch, and after seeing the positive reviews, gave Pistachios a go. The atmosphere was lovely, beautiful location, food and service very high quality. Amazing treat selection. (They replied to me in minutes when I messaged them via their Instagram page too!) A rare find, would thoroughly recommend!

Ridiculous. Everything about it is ridiculous. The food is ridiculously good, unpretentious, fresh and delicious. The service is ridiculously good too, attentive, helpful and really welcoming. It’s ridiculously good value for the standard of fare and it is virtually restaurant standard for cafe prices. If Michelin ever shed its obsession with “tasting” menus, Pistachio would be a “worth a long detour” with its basic plastic furniture and swarms of dogs and their owners. A gem.

I love this place so much! I used to be pretty non- fussed and disappointed by the Greenwich area and overkill on chains. Little did I know I just had to stumble a few steps off the beaten path to find this absolute gem of a cafe hidden away in an almost mystical location! I now visit fairly regularly. Everything is made fresh to order and with extreme passion and care. The chef is a real foodie which is evident in what is put in front of you and is happy to make any changes to suit different needs. He just wants you to really enjoy your food. I don’t think it’s worth even mentioning the wait for food. They make it clear from the start that food may take longer because it’s all cooked fresh to order. There are amazing bits to pick up from the counter if you want something while you wait anyway! Only visit if you want to support a small business with high quality food at a reasonable price!

Fantastic food from a small cafe in a local park which has seating inside and outside. Most of the food is home made and is delicious and the high quality and variety of food is a pleasant surprise for such a small cafe (wonderful flavours). We had a yummy veggie breakfast but we come here regularly for the great coffee, homemade cakes and pastries which are to die for. The lunch specials are varied and all delicious, particularly the soup and the quiche which comes with a beautiful salad and home-made dressing (would recommend). Support your independent cafes they are often better value for money and better quality than the chains and this is certainly the case for this cafe in Greenwich.

The food is absolutely amazing .. everything is home cooked and tastes delicious. The cakes are superb … particularly the brownie and orange polenta cake! The portion sizes are extremely generous … and great value for money. In fact, this cafe needs to put its prices up!

We had a fantastic brunch here. Honestly the best I’ve had in ages - my dad said it was the best full English he’d ever had (high praise from a Cornishman). They were very kind to my nephew and gave him a babychino and we also got to try their homemade cinnamon rolls - they were honestly to die for! Best I’ve had. Thank you for a brilliant morning - it was a long awaited family trip to meet our newest family addition so thank you for making it so special.

ust moved to Greenwich and stumbled across this absolute gem of a park cafe. It’s a pretty ugly building from the outside but inside is a totally different story! It’s like Gails but only better ! We enjoyed the best French style hot chocolate this side of Paris , gluten free chocolate brownies , warm cinnamon buns ( they make them themselves ) the lady behind the counter said that 90% of the food on the counter was home made , stunning carrot cake, almond tarts, sausage rolls, vegetable sausage rolls . OMG it was amazing, my mum had the Gruyère tart , it came with a little potato salad and green salad ( even the dressing was home made ) service was lovely , place was super clean . I wish all cafes were as lovely as this. So pleased I have moved to Greenwich ( well ok Hither Green!)

What should be a lovely cafe in a small community park area is let down by inefficient service and almost hostility towards 'non locals'. I waited behind 2 people in the queue in front of me just wanting a coffee and dog ice cream for nearly 10 mins (in which time they managed to make 3 hot drinks!!) Just before it was my turn to be served the slow lady behind the counter saw one of the locals walk in and sit in the corner. In front of the queue she mouthed to him "coffee?" and promptly ignored the queue made him a coffee and took it straight to him. I wad so disgusted I had to walk out. Poor customer service is only tolerated I assume, due to being the only food and beverage establishment in the park. I would advise giving a wide birth to avoid its shockingly bad service ruining an otherwise lovely stroll in a beautiful park.

Well what a transformation. The new owners have waved a magic wand to create a stunning shiny new stylish interior. The food is made fresh by a professional chef. The coffee is sublime and the menu changes every day. I was overwhelmed by the new modern decor and the cafe is run by lovely warm staff who go above and beyond to provide sumptuous food and drinks. Its been so busy and obviously a welcome change from the old cafe!! I recommend the Sausage Rolls and the freshly made Quiches and pancakes are a real treat!

So pleased this cafe has been taken over by new owners, at last I can actually eat in my local park, the last owner was totally unhygienic and I would wait until after I had walked my dog to have my morning coffee. Now we have a fresh new look cafe, it is a total transformation in every way. The food is amazing, croque monsieur, fresh juices ( real fresh juices ) quality produce - sausage that have meat in them! Stunning fresh baked produce and the owner even makes his own sausage rolls, which everyone is talking about. Supper then, visit them and enjoy them, super happy we have this gem on our doorstep.

I had just moved to the area, when out walking my dog, I cam upon this lovely little find, whether it be drop by for a coffee or sit out in the sun for an afternoon beer, was very peaceful. Not like being in London at all. Only thing i would say the locals think they have right of way with their dogs off the lead. But had nothing to do with the cafe! lovely stuff.

If you say park in Greenwich, you would never think of this one, enter the park by a small alleyway, and walk towards pistachios see my picture below. I had a tea and bacon sandwich and sat outside on the benches, this park is steeped in history, see the picture which explains this. This park is easily accessible and takes less than a hour to walk around. So in summary, this park is a hidden gem in Greenwich, so don’t always think of the main park go visit this one.

I had seen East Pleasaunce Park on the map when I was looking to visit Greenwich, and decided to make my way there. It Was a little difficult to find but the locals were helpful:) The park includes some beautiful trees and some historic Naval gravestones, one of which had a huge anchor over the grave. I wasn’t sure about the café but decided to stop in for a cup of coffee and very glad I did as both the coffee and the passion cake I had were delicious! You can sit indoors or outdoors and Covid restrictions were in place. The gentleman behind the counter made everyone very welcome . While there I looked up the park s website and was impressed to see that the building had many ecological features, including solar panels on the roof and underfloor heating. If you’re looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track with delicious coffee and cake this is your place.
