Blossom's Cafe in Greenwich

The sausages had a strange herby taste, they were horrible. Baguettes were thick stodgy bread. Didn’t taste fresh. Bacon had loads of fat on. Wont order again.

I went to this cafe with my husband. We ordered an my husband found hair in his food. Nonetheless we still offered to pay but they kindly rejected. Following this we had an awful experience at the demon ink tattoo parlour next door and these people from the cafe said to them we left without paying. Can you please run an honest and hygienic business.

Have been coming to this lovely, local café for a couple of years in between jobs during my working day. The staff are usually really friendly and welcoming but unfortunately were let down by a lady I assume to be the owner today (have seen another review about her passive aggressive behaviour several months ago) who chose to make what could have been a simple request about using a plug socket into a very rude encounter, especially considering I had literally just tapped my card on the machine to pay my bill for my food and drinks. Businesses are of course, entitled to enforce their policies, but there are ways of speaking to people with respect that I would hope someone in such a customer facing role/job would understand. Sadly, it will be my last visit.

Lovely full English breakfast and fab coffee

Needed to kill some time whilst my car was being serviced. 1st time in the area, and Blossoms was the only place around that looked nice, and welcoming so that was already a good sign. Had a cooked breakfast which was tasty and was served promptly after ordering. The coffee here was surprisingly really good. will be coming back on the next car service. The 2 ladies working here were lovely, overall great service and food was reasonably priced.

A great cafe, great full English. Sausages are the best, quality compared to other cafes in New Eltham. A good fresh coffee none of that instant stuff. They also make a tasty homemade bread pudding. When you visit Blossoms, you will get a great friendly service and you will want to go back for more.

This is the second time I have been to this cafe in New Eltham. It is a small cafe, but is bright airy and clean and has a real personality. It was busy in a good way at around noon when my mother and I paid a visit. I ordered ham egg and chips and a cup of tea and my mum ordered a cup of coffee. The order was taken at the table and the food arrived quickly and freshly made. The chips were amazingly golden and crisp and fluffy inside. There were two eggs perfectly cooked, which was one more than expected. The ham was top quality and there was plenty of it on the plate. I commented to the staff on the quality of the ham and she said she buys it fresh every day from the butchers shop, just a few doors away from the cafe. My mum was chatting a lot and allowed her coffee to go cold and the staff reheated it for her in the microwave. Just before we settled our bill the staff bought over a complimentary Christmas drink of a homemade fruit brandy, which was also unexpected and delicious. Our casual stop at this cafe turned out to be a really good experience. It is so nice to find an independent cafe on the high street which is so friendly and individual in style. Our visit was a pleasure.

The breakfast was swimming in oil and everything was dumped on top of each other the hash browns were burnt the toast was missing and the milkshake was as thin as water quite disappointing

Fiona is always charming and whips up ANYTHING at the moments notice (given it's reasonable), and the staff is always helpful and accommodating.

I popped into this little cafe while killing time before a wedding. I wanted to sit down, have some lunch and read. On arrival I asked to use the toilets. I was told not to close the inner door, I think due to painting work but they said they’d keep an eye on the outer door. I had only been in there 5 minutes when the lights went off leaving me in complete darkness. I was unable to put them back on. Whilst in the toilet I applied some Deep Heat to my arms and shoulders on account of chronic shoulder pain with which I’m currently suffering. On return to my table the manager very pointedly asked if I’d just put Deep Heat on, complained loudly how potent it was and made a big scene of opening the cafe door despite the rain. I actually apologised but received no response in return. I felt really unwelcome and embarrassed. The halloumi wrap was nice but the crisps were stale and at £8.50 I would expect better. I ate quickly and left, I’m now in a much nicer friendlier venue down the road. Just to add the younger member of staff was very helpful and polite. I’m all for supporting small businesses but not when they’re rude and unpleasant to customers so I won’t be visiting again if I return to New Eltham.

Don't know how they do it, but the food always turns up piping hot like it's fresh out of the oven. So so tasty too.

The food was lovely, fresh and enjoyed by us all. It arrived hot and in good time.

Lovely friendly staff and a lovely freshly cooked breakfast coffee was great too. Lunches are fab very good size and good prices too.

Great place, well priced, good food, friendly service and a nice place to sit inside and out. Could to with a barista coffee and the place would be perfect, only thing letting it down really.

Great place! Lovely and friendly with great food and drink. Nice that it is dog friendly too so a big thumbs up from us! We had brunch on our first visit and we’ll defo be back for more.

Scotch eggs were lovely, the use of foil to keep the food warm was efficient

The soup is wonderful, the salads are even better. Don’t miss it!

Myself and my husband had a lovely breakfast and coffee here. The food was fresh, homemade and very reasonable (I recommend the bubble and squeak). The lady who served us was friendly too. It is our new favourite place, we can’t wait to go back!

Friendly staff great food chilled atmosphere.

The ‘homemade’ soup is quite obviously Heinz tinned soup. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I wasn't sure if I was in Eltham or Knightsbridge as a double epresso coffee was charged £ 4.40. I have realised thatI was in a posh place and I didn't know about it ... very Interesting!

Lovely family run cafe, lovely food and staff

Very clean environment, welcomed by lovely staff. Food delicious, been there a number of times and never disappointed. The breakfast cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the sausages! Lunch My favourite is the fish finger sandwich along with the chicken baguette, fabulous portions and great value! Can’t fault it!

A new place to me, just had a tremendous, perfectly-cooked 'healthy' breakfast (I added some unhealthy bits), as well as a smashing hot latte, and well past lunchtime too. Prices reasonable. Will be coming back!

Our favourite neighborhood cafe. Excellent quality and choice of food, prices you can’t beat, and EXTREMELY friendly and courteous service. We even stopped by one time they were prepping to cater a wedding, and they took the time to serve us. 10/10 would recommend!

It's not Lucy's kitchen any more it is called blossom's cafe Service was OK Full English good just didn't like the Tin tomato I Prefer fresh and Grilled But I ate them because of Hunger Toast came out with the breakfast which I like All nice and hot All in all breakfast was good Only thing the cappuccino was not that good came out like a Latte no froth and it was to milky Did give the cafe a second try but the Some result as you can see on the photo order a second one as a takeaway but it came out as a Latte so I bin it I should of told the waitress that brought me the cappuccino But Decided to go home and I had too much in my head And Didn't want any negativity That day That's why I've decided to order a second one next time I will let them if they do the same Reccomend give a try

We are so pleased we found this lovely cafe on Google. We were staying at the Premier Inn and wanted a local cafe serving vegetarian breakfast. It was perfect. Generous servings of delicious food, very flexible and friendly staff who obviously knew their locals and took care of them. It was a very pleasant space to sit in.

Pleasant nice little place. Chicken was a bit dry but staff were very friendly so would go back. 👍

Have always like this till recently. Burnt food served and inedible. When plate was collected still like how it was served not even a How Was Your Meal. Sorry would not recommend to anyone as this says it all. Would recommend a little customer service / focus to keep afloat in this day and age.

Tasty food and coffee! :) The lady who served us (I am assuming this was the owner) was very polite and even put my sandwich in a bag for home as it was too big for me to finish it! I will gladly return there very soon!

Pros: Good price, clean place, good service Cons: Ventilation from the kitchen needs to be improved. Quite smoky in the cafe if compared to other cafes.

I've lived in New Eltham for 10 years, and only got round to popping into this cafe for the first time, yesterday. The place is spotless, the staff are polite and extremely friendly, and the quality of the food was excellent. Service was prompt and everything was excellent; they clearly have earned their 5 star food rating with ease. Definitely the best cafe in New Eltham!
