We booked a table for a Sunday evening roast after spotting a post on Facebook, booking the table was easy via Facebook messenger,. As we entered the dining room we were all made to feel so welcome from every member of staff ,the kitchen was open and the dining was very tasteful in its decor, loved the rustic feel and charm, then we went outside for a pre dinner drink, the views are outstanding I’ll post a picture. The drinks came all ice cold and served in nice glasses. Then we were called to our table and the food started to arrive, amazing slow roasted wagu beef, chicken, honey roast parsnips, Yorkshire puddings, crushed root veg, Red cabbage, green beans and of course the most delicious cauliflower cheese, all served with a beautiful rich thick onion gravy. Their was plenty of food for 6 of us, nothing was too much trouble and we were checked on a couple of times as we was eating, Bradley the owner was always on hand and seemed to enjoy chatting to everyone in the dining room, we then returned outside for another drink and they asked if we would like our pudding outside which we thought would be perfect, the fruit crumble & custard was also delicious and didn’t last long. We stayed for more drinks and didn’t feel at all rushed to leave. All in all a fantastic experience, tasty unpretentious food served with a cheerful atmosphere We will definitely be returning,big thanks to the whole team at the secret quay kitchen!!

Fabulous on all counts! We booked the Love Fish night for my birthday and we had a brilliant time from the moment we arrived. Bradley and his team are so welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. I was also impressed that the music was turned down about half way through our meal as it was a little too loud. I always think it's a very good sign when a restaurant is really conscious of sound levels and is proactive about it. We couldn't recommend The Secret Quay Kitchen more highly and we're looking forward to coming back. Love a good Sunday lunch so that's next on our list. Thank you all for a such a lovely birthday meal!

What a gem. Lovely setting. Came here for a charcuterie evening. Food was beautifully presented, had an amazing singer to entertain us. The pudding platter was also amazing, staff were friendly. Great fun and a proper treat. Look forward to coming again. Lucky to have this on our doorstep.

On Sunday the 17th of September we asked The Secret Quay Kitchen to help us celebrate a special occasion. We’ve previously celebrated here before and yet again we were not disappointed with anything. Bradley and his amazing team went above and beyond to make our evening as special as it could be. The food was outstanding with dishes suitable for everyone including gluten free and vegetarian. From the chicken, to the salads, to the potatoes and everything in between it was superb from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful evening and enjoyed the majority of the night outside in their private courtyard overlooking the estuary with our friends and family, favourite drinks in hand, listening to some great background music and later on soaked in the beautiful sunset directly in front of us. The wonderful staff made sure we were catered for in every aspect. All of our guests were so complimentary of this great venue and couldn’t believe this lovely little find! We cannot fault a single thing from the setting, to the staff, to the food, to the selection of drinks available and of course the relaxed, friendly atmosphere The Secret Quay Kitchen offers. A true hidden gem that always lives up to expectations. Thank you again Bradley & Team. You’ll have to put up with us again next year as we will absolutely be back for a third time!….

Fabulous! An amazing, quirky, intimate venue. Great views over the harbour. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Loved the unusual decor. A real gem of a place. Staff were all great too. Looking forward to a return visit in the autumn.

Epic! The atmosphere was amazing and the the food was so tasty. We've gone to a few of their supper clubs and other events and it is always outstanding. The staff are wonderful and the grub is always top class.

Just before we start, I would give no stars at all if it were possible. I booked the Secret Kitchen back on the 19th February for a group of around 20 people for my 30th birthday on the date 31/03/23 (around 6-7weeks in advance) and paid a £100 deposit to secure my booking. After going backwards and forwards over emails to get an understanding on what packages they could offer my group, (this felt like a hard battle within itself), we eventually decided on a food theme for the evening. 2 weeks prior to my booking date The Secret Kitchen have informed me that there has been a problem with their booking system and that they have double booked on that date. They have tried to offer me a different date or a option to have my money refunded back to me. However this is not any ordinary date it is in fact my 30th birthday party, which I have several friends, many who struggled to obtain holiday for this date, travelling from distant locations from around the UK. So no, an alternative date does not work for my guests or myself. I have now had my deposit refunded back to me, but this is to no avail as there is no other venue that can take a group this size with such short notice. If this was a system booking error as they have mentioned, I really hope this issue is relatively easy to fix, unlike like my 30th party which will never take place again.

Tonight my friend and I finally made it to one of the Sunday supper clubs and I'm so glad we did. The food and atmosphere were just brilliant. The beef was some of the best I've ever eaten and the whole experience was so lovely. I've been to the Secret Kitchen twice now, once for a party and now tonight and the food, staff and atmosphere have been excellent. I cannot wait to try a feast night.

Food was good but one bar staff was rude and just seemed to not want to be there, her attitude to being there was not good and she made us leave earlier than we should have, we was forced to leave earlier and some people who had paided for the full amount had not had much to drink at all and feel like they were robbed, such a shame

This was mine and my friends first time at the secret kitchen and it won’t be our last. We went for the Wednesday Comfort Club and we were amazed by the beautiful venue and the incredible food they served. The spring rolls followed by the Thai green curry was a perfect match and they were both cooked to perfection, so tasty. I love the element of surprise with the dessert too! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, great service and they were very willing and helpful with catering to our needs. The restaurant itself has such a lovely comfortable atmosphere, and the wine and cocktail menu went down very well! We had a wonderful evening, thanks to all the staff and organisers.
