Le Blé in Sheffield

The coffee was delicious. The cakes and pastries looked lovely. Were spoilt for choice, settled with the gingerbread cake which was divine. Excellent service. Lovely surroundings. A definite go to place. You wont be disappointed

Mocha was delicious, raspberry croissant was excellent. I'll be back for more later in the day but this breakfast deal for £3.90 was great value

I popped in here a couple of times for a snack while I was in Sheffield for a couple of weeks with work. I've not really got a sweet tooth (even though the sweet stuff looks divine) so opted for a potato and herb double (I think it was called) which was a savoury pastry and very tasty. Nice place to pop in while waiting for the tram.

Went in for coffee and dessert, was not disappointed. The coffee a flat white was good the black cherry chocolate dessert was yummy, can’t wait to visit again when next in Sheffield

Le Blé is an incredibly stylish looking patisserie in the heart of Sheffield. The stunning cake displays are a feast for the eyes of any passer by. So I was very hopeful that we were about to have a delicious breakfast. Sadly the savoury offerings do not even begin to live up to the entrancing visuals. The menu was challenging and cryptic, excessively so for what amounted to a range of sandwiches is a choice of breads and fillings. In any case, it did not prepare me for the crushing disappointment of what was served. My meal consisted of a borderline-stale roll filled with a thin layer of bizarrely sweet egg mayo, sitting upon a single square of the cheapest quality re-formed ham. In spite of being actually quite hungry I managed less than half of it before leaving in disgust. The decor and the coffee (which was acceptable) are the only things saving this eaterie from a one star review. I can't in all conscience recommend you consider eating here though.

Exceptional cakes and coffee. Incredible range of cakes and pastries but all with quality. Cakes are moist and delicate. Lovely relaxed atmosphere too.

Staying in Sheffield for a week we popped in to buy cakes to take away and were completely wowed by the beautiful selection. Later in the week we went back twice, once for coffee and cake and once for tea and cake, all delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

A real find a Greek run patisserie. Amazing selection of pastries, sweet and savoury, quality well worth the money. Staff impressive and informative, coffee to die for. We were in Sheffield for 3 days an luckily passed by. Ace indeed!!!

We were going to have a meal but thought we’d pick up some cakes to have at home. Didn’t try the coffee therefore cannot comment. Tried both cheesecakes, and several other cakes - we liked them all but my favourites were the Serrano cake and an apple and cinnamon sponge. Cakes not overly sweet therefore great for adults. Looking forward to my next visit and trying the coffee.

I had popped in before for two small pastries to eat on the tram ( close to Cathedral stop) but we went in early for delicious coffee and excellent croissants au Chocolat. We bought tasty savour pastries for lunch. Marvellous- oh, and fantastic toilet!!!

Nice atmosphere and decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of savoury pastries to suit my non- meat eating husband. The choice of cakes was amazing and I enjoyed the Lemon Drizzle cake. I wish the cafe every success and hope to visit again as I found everything so tempting. Appreciated the oven to warm up the pastries. The cup handle design I thought was a little bit small but the hot oat milk was as expected and enjoyed.

I’ve recently visited Le Blé and there are no words to describe how good the food is, what an absolute legend the owner is and how heartwarming the environment is. The store itself is extremely sophisticated, offering delicacies that the Northern part of UK is missing, but most importantly it offers big smiles and the chance to make memories since the staff is so professional and friendly. I would URGE everyone to visit Le Blé and try all the Mediterranean secrets that it has to offer, speak with the owner and in general get a breath of fresh Mediterranean air .. In short - A MUST visit place when you’re around in the area .. Make sure you try out the homemade cakes as well

Went in after reading about the cafe. Very quiet....more staff than customers. Large coffee wasn't that large, nor that hot. Requested hot milk on the side which had to be returned as lukewarm not hot. Also requested hot water to warm up the coffee. Nice...
