Me and mum had a panini each with a tea and mocha, it was delicious. Lovely decor, great service and will be back. Also lots of space to take the pram in.

This was my second afternoon tea here, the previous one being a couple of years ago. Once again I couldn't fault it, my friend and I were blown away by the gorgeous sandwiches and cakes, all beautifully presented, and lots of it! As always, Sally and Gary made us feel very welcome and the vibe in the tearoom is warm and cosy. I would definitely recommend a visit, and I can honestly say the afternoon teas here are far better than the offerings in many of the big hotels.

I work quite close to this tearoom and have started meeting a friend here every week for a late lunch. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. The backroom is warm and cosy with a sofa and comfy chairs. I usually have a sandwich which is always made with lovely fresh bread and served with a salad and crisps. Lovely fresh tea and coffee and the cakes that are baked in the shop are delicious.

Moved to the area recently and decided to give this place a go. The coffee was nice, sandwiches and cake fresh too. What more could you want for a local pit stop? 🤤

Only been here a few times, but the husband and wife team are always polite and friendly, which gives it a real homely feel. Food is freshly prepared and piping hot when served. Coffee is good and cake is to die for!! Ideal for a little treat every now and then. I hope this place stands the test of time and is supported by the local community. Keep up the good work!

First time visit. What a lovely place to sit and relax. We had coffee and a slice of cake each. Cake was delicious! We had lemon cake and Victoria sponge. Nice atmosphere and in general a nice place with company or even just chill by yourself. We will definitely be going back.

From the photos etc of high teas and salmon on scrambled eggs. I was expecting a higher quality place. I called in after the lunchtime rush. The service was very good but the menu was of the toasted ham.and cheese and tuna melt etc type of greasy spoon fayre. I had the tuna.melt it was ok and about worth the price and a pot of tea. Personally I felt like they were stuck between two markets an upmarket tea shop and a greasy spoon type place and therefore not quite hitting the mark on either. I think with a little more flair on the menu this place could be great.

What a lovely little place. Very welcoming, cosy, friendly. They have a beautiful lounge area aswell. Sounds silly but it’s important to me, even the bathroom is very welcoming and clean. The prices are good, the food and drink is very good quality, and the staff are very attentive and approachable. Will definitely be visiting again and would definitely recommend.

Just had lunch in this little gem with some friends. I had jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw. A very generous portion with salad garnish and crisps. It was nicely presented, hot and delicious. My Latte was hot, something lacking in some other establishments. My friends had a mixture of jackets and paninis and everyone enjoyed them.

My husband and I decided to try this new tearoom we went around lunchtime there was two tables free we went and sat at one of the tables looked at the menu and there we sat the owner went and served another couple who came in after us so we thought he would approach us soon but alas not. So in the end I ask at the counter if we could be served the man then came over to us with no apology for keeping us waiting we was not made to fill welcome at all. When our food arrived I had a jacket potato with beans which the beans looked like they had been heated loads of times. The tea was a small cup with the teabag left in it not worth the money most tearoom serve pots of tea. Would we return definitely not would I recommend to friends definitely not. The man who I believe owns the tearoom needs to go on a course for customer serves.

This is easily the best coffee in Leigh on sea! It’s a shame that only bad reviewers add comments. The staff are all lovely. It’s brilliant to have independent shops in Leigh and we should make the most of it. I find the owner perfectly fun and friendly along with the rest of the staff. They know their coffee and have a good range of fresh homemade salads. ☕️ ❤️

I was booked on a bakery course to make Macarons on 17th March 2024. The class was cancelled a couple of days before by the owner. I have repeatedly phoned and emailed requesting a refund but have not had a money back and no apology. Would never use again.

New menu is disappointing as very limited. Friendly staff. Great climbing area for children, with lovely pods in the beer garden.
