Always the most amazing food and service. I’m following slimming world and finding this place has been a god send. I love eating out and coming here every Thursday after weigh in one of the highlights of my week. They have a slimming survival menu with the SW values already worked out for you. Highly recommend .

This was our first visit to Baileys 2. We were warmly greeted on arrival & given a choice of where to sit, there is a small dining area as you walk in but there is a larger dining area the back all really welcoming & cosy. There is a great selection of food & drink available & we settled for the cooked breakfast which was beautifully cooked & presented. The staff were lovely - many customers were obviously regulars given the warm & friendly manner staff greeted them when they arrived. We will definitely go back, it's one of Burys hidden gems. We highly recommend visiting if you're ever in Bury St Edmunds.

We had a quick lunch at the Cuckoo cafe. The jacket spuds, beans and smoked ham was just right and presented well on the plate. My husband enjoyed his brie, bacon and cranberry panine. The staff are always friendly, welcoming you with a smile.

I went here on Sunday for brunch. I had tried to contact the venue ahead of time to find out if we needed to book via email and instagram but my messages were read and not responded to. It was walk in only so this was fine and it is lovely inside. However I think it should be clear on their website and social media. I am vegan and I was surprised that nothing was labelled for allergies or dietary preferences on the brunch menu. I asked the member of staff what was vegan and she didn't know and originally told me the french toast would be but then I asked if it had egg and she said oh yes it does. I asked if there was an ingredients list for any of the dishes and she said no only the açai. So it turned out the avocado toast and the açai were vegan but really this should be labelled as such on the brunch menu and staff should be informed for allergies and intolerances. The avocado toast I ate was lovely and so was the iced matcha, but I would like more vegan choices for brunch. They did have cakes in the cabinet which were marked as vegan however. Overall a mixed experience.

Had a fantastic sunday lunch. Really tender roast beef. A great selection of vegetables and roast potatoes complimented by a huge Yorkshire pudding. Friendly and efficient service from the proprietors and the restaurant was busy so booking is a must.
