Couldn’t recommend enough. Wonderful selection of meats & homemade deli. Fabulous coleslaw, quiches. Beautiful pasties & lovely fresh fruit & veg & drinks. Don’t need to shop anywhere else as it stocks everything you need at top quality.

Had the fortune to meet Richard and chat though his vision for the developing the business and keeping local produce at the forefront of the shop . Lovely produce and family business really enjoyed popping in most days for various treats !

A friend suggested I try out Kittows pasties while I was visiting Fowey. So glad I did. After being dissapointed by falling standards at the two pasty I had previously given good reviews for, I was hoping Kittows would prove that good pasties were still being made in Cornwall. Well, I was not disapointed this time. Superb pasties better than anything I've had before. Excellent flavour; ingredients being perfectly blended to produce a moreish delight. The pastry perfectly cooked adding to the taste experience. My friend was right. They are the best pasties in Cornwall.

The BEST Cornish pasty. Very friendly man behind the counter and a tasty, meat filled pasty. Pastry was lovely and lots of filling! We arrived as a fresh batch had just been cooked and I highly recommend. The rest of the deli & butchers looked good. There were also quiches and pies

Superb family butchers top class meats deli food etc my my wife amd I had ready made meals almost every night can't say enough to how good they were top class 5 star meals

This looks a well stocked delicatessen. I ordered a crabmeat and salad roll at £9.50. I was a little disappointed by the amount of crab shell in with the crab meat. I think it was a little more pricey then I felt comfortable to pay too. But the amount of salad leaf was ample and the amount of meat was too. If an effort were to be made to remove the shell, then I would return.

Good quality products from long standing local family butchers. Always stop off here to grab a pasty or two when visiting Fowey and to take with us on the walks to Bodinnick and Polruan.

Like others (according to reviews), we were over charged for items in the deli counter. The shop is quite expensive and the two women at the counter perfectly grim. Disreputable and disappointing for a Cornish shop in otherwise lovely Fowey.

Whilst out and about in Fowey we needed a quiche to take home along with some white chocolate cheese cake. Both were winners in our eyes. Enjoyed by four of us👍

A great shop with lots to offer rich people. Smiles and banter greet the big spenders or close friends of the proprietor. If you're poor and hungry forget it. Photographed their prices as couldn't believe what they thought they could get away with. Turns out they make Harrods seem like Aldi!

Staying less than 500 yards away these delightful place became our 'goto' for food supplies.. ok you will buy more than some places but then the quality of the meat and other foods are brilliant. coupled with friendly staff, this is a great stop anytime

A great place, full of quality local produce I do love this family run business, it has changed over time but is still run with the same attention to detail as it always was - and back in the day the home made mackerel pate was the best I ever tasted, now Richard has stepped back a bit from the day to day it’s not on so much but when it is on you simply must try some!

Excellent deli style shop plus more. Great reputation, and justifiably so, people here know food and retail some excellent local produce ranging from traditional pasties to excellent fruit pies, and local cooked meats. Excellent staff and customer service - even at the end of a long hot day.

The produce looked stunning along with the variety of products bespoke to the area thay is why we went in to purchased gifts to take home. However the customer service was appalling. The lady serving me was chatting to the other colleague about a broken pasty, there was absolutely no customer interaction whatsoever, I don't actually think she uttered a word to me. Totally opposite attitude to that received from their neighbours the Cornish Bakery.

We visited Kittows most days when on holiday for a week in Fowey. The food was lovely quality and the staff were reallly helpful. They are really good for gluten free cakes (which they bake themselves) and gluten free pasties too.

What a lovely shop selling great home made food using local produce. We had to try their traditional pasty and we were not disappointed. We also bought a madras curry sauce which was also very good

Nice sausages. Prices extortionate (£1.05 for two red onions). The brine cured smoked bacon is wet and so salty as to be practically inedible. On the dear side and I find the glowing notices inexplicable. The wines are vastly over-priced.

A quick pop in as closing. Great service from Luke as always. Cheerful and knowledgable. At 5 pm! Fowey stalwart.

We came in late in the day when all the burgers were gone. The butcher managed to make some more burgers up for us with some top side left over which turned out to be one of the best burgers we have had! Very helpful and has loads more on offer than just meat.

Very good deli products, fish and own farm meats - superb crab too. Veg displayed outside was not so impressive. Difficult to queue and to self-serve veg at the same time. Self-service in certain areas.

Amazing steak pasty, hot out of the oven. Unfortunately staying in a hotel, or we’d have loved to stock up on some delicious treats from this place

Went for items for a good old fry-up but was disappointed in choice. Thought this was going to be an old style English butchers with a wide selection of meats and different sausage types to choose from but sadly not. Only had one fridge with pre packed bacon and only one type of sausage. Had a good cold meat and fish counter and lots of jams etc. Didn’t see any joints of meat or anything you could buy to make a Sunday lunch.

Walking the SW Coast Path? Best fuel is an original Pastie from Kittows (they do other fillings too). Eating this Cornish Partie on the Cornish coast is a must, hot or cold, take my word for it. Top marks.

The best gluten free pasty I have had -just a shame they ran out of them so quickly! The steak pasty was also enjoyed.

Steak Cornish pasties has very little meat. The crab salad was lovely though as were sausage rolls. Service very downbeat compared to other shops. Would not recommend when so many other outlets want your business and serve great food with a smile on their face.

Great place for getting your local meats and cornish cheeses . lots of different jars of relishes and pickles to go with your fresh goods , my favourite was the fresh crab quiches absolutely beautiful , the lady that served me was very helpful.

OMG .. THE most amazing Cornish pasties I have ever tasted .. so very enjoyable and succulent... and the service was excellent and they were prepared really hot.. not just warmed up, but nice and hot and ready to eat , really fulfilling... excellent food

Our absolute favourite place to buy food- fresh vegetables, delicious meat, cakes and savouries. Staff are helpful and take pride in their produce- the meat comes from the family farm and is out of this world.

Top top quality and the nicest guy behind the counter ever.We went in to check out the Gluten Free offerings and were not disappointed. There was actually so much available that I can't mention it all but, pasties, pies, sausages and cakes will do for starters but there was so much more.The shop really was very good and although we were only in Fowey for the day, we will return as we only live in St Cleer.

We called in here a couple of times during our stay, the pasties were wonderful, and we couldn't fault anything else that we bought

Stayed in Fowey on a walking holiday and Kittows is great for picnic food-purchased pasties to take with us for lunch on the south east coastal walk and quiche for quick lunch on another day-both recommended. Love the saffron bread.

I had a pasty from Kittows every day I was in Fowey. Its quite often challenging to find GF lunch options when I am on holiday but Kittows made it easy and tasty!

Chanced our arm for a snack lunch and were SO impressed by the staff and crab sandwiches. Unadulterated Cornish joy lives here! (please feel free to quote me!)

Fantastic meats, quiches, greengrocers, coleslaw, pickles etc etc. Always come here every day while on holiday in Fowey.

We have visited this deli for their takeaway ciabattas & salad for the last 6 years in the summer. Yesterday we did the same, wow ciabattas almost half the size and paltry filling compared to previous years. My husband ordered plough mans in a box. Two pieces of cheese,some lettuce & cucumber. No chutney, dressing or even a pickle. £4.95 for cheese & lettuce. Will never return. Why do some things always have to change for the worse?

This is a nice place but if the products you buy don’t have a price on watch out! They seem to make it up on the spot ... probably expecting you to be a tourist

Kittows is THE place to go for pasties , fresh meat and veg, cheeses, obviously pasties, quiches etc. Paper bags so green credentials. I'm going back on the way home specifically to get my take home pasties - all 15 of them as they are the best.

we were passing and saw their chalkboard outside with gluten free mentioned - and found a great shop and a wonderful gluten free pasty - they knew about cross contamination and were very friendly and the pasty tasted just wonderful. No hesitation in recommending and would 100% return when next in Fowey

Pick up a take-away and enjoy the quiet of the churchyard opposite. Take a little extra for the jackdaws (?)

Heard about this place from people and also from reading TA reviews. Decided to pop in during our Hall Walk and I am glad we did. Steak and Stilton pasty at £3.50.

Lovely deli with a wide selection of nomtastic food - including boxed meals such as Chilli, curry etc that can be taken away. I was here for cake (including gluten free cake for my hubby) and I can highly recommend them.

Cold winter and the Xmas Market. Home made soup hit the spot! Several varieties on offer and lovely pasties.

Good range of food and friendly service. We had a variety from this shop and everything was very tasty and different to the run of the mill. Top tip: the Hogs Pudding with Dauphinoise Potatoes on top is excellent.

We recently stayed in Fowey for a week and decided to treat ourselves to a big rib of beef. Mr Kittow got one in for us the next day and it was fantastic. Great shop where you can also get fresh veg, pickles, cheese etc. Support these local shops!

Lots of lovely treats for us when we did not want to eat out. Particularly loved the individual quiches.

We were on holiday in Fowey and bought pasties and other food. All excellent quality and served quickly. They also made up sandwiches etc for us and we were able to order some excellent hake which was delivered fresh the day afterwards for us to cook at the house where we were staying.

we needed some things for a couple of days of lunches and so shopped here.we bought excellent rare sliced beef and a couple of pasties.we had trouble on our yacht heating up the pasties so eat them cold.i would have prefered hot but have to say they were still delicious

Heartily recommend this butcher and deli.. considering the lack of competition for fresh produce in this town , great value, well stocked butcher counter and it introduced me to the previously unknown cut of steak the 'beef buttock'..well aged, dark, tender, juicy meat that worked so well on our campfire.

An enjoyable 2nd visit to Fowey, and Kittows is still as good as it was in 2016. We have visited many Deli's across the U.K. Over the past few years, and this must rank up there as one of the best.

Great deli, lots of choice. Hard to choose it’s all so lovely. And of course the meat is terrific. Go there.

There is stuff for tourists to take away but this is predominantly a successful butchery that has moved with the times. Excellent sausages and some of the best bacon I've had. Carcasses are reduced and cuts produced in full view. The cuts looked very good indeed. Quality stuff.

I went two times for the scotch eggs, they were delicious. They have a wonderful selection of quiches, pies, cheeses meats, all the things I wish we had in our town. This is a great place.

No-one should visit Fowey without visiting this beautiful deli / butcher. Not only are the meats and products all superbly displayed. The place is immaculate and bright and the guv'nor is a really nice guy and extremely knowledgable about everything he has on offer. To walk in the door is to buy something. You couldn't resist it. What a refreshing change from the supermarkets that we all use today. Thank you !

We bought a couple of evening meals from Kittows and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, they were out of wraps and ciabatta, though the sandwich fillings were great.

Our visits to Fowey would never be complete without a purchase from Kittows. This fantastic deli has a huge selection of cheeses, cooked meats, pies, salads and snacks. If you want a picnic lunch or food for the journey home - this is the place to go. The quality of the food is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful.

Stopped in today to pick up something for dinner and was totally spoiled for choice. Everything looked amazing and high quality. I had the crab and spring onion quiche and it really was one of the nicest quiches I've had. My husband says his goats...

Everything sold is of the best quality . The homemade scotch eggs are superb. Gold winners of awards for hogs pudding, sausage etc. Proper local meat.

Fantastic butcher and deli in the centre of Fowey - for our BBQ we bought sausages (Regatta specials, brandy, walnut and pork which were amazing), succulent garlic and butter chicken and tasty burgers. The deli section is also fabulous with loads of cheeses, pies, quiches and lovely homemade coleslaw. The butcher is a truly lovely man who welcomes locals and tourists alike with the same warmth and charm. This is definitely a must visit if you love food and are staying in Fowey or nearby!

I only had a sausage roll and a brownie. The sausage roll was really good, fresh and really tasty. The brownie, best brownie ever, it is gluten free and the most gooey brownie I have ever had, it was delicious! Highly recommended.

Stayed in Fowey for a week in a rented cottage and for the nights we didn't eat out we bought some fantastic food from Kittows. First up were two beautiful sirloin steaks, some of the best I have had out of a butchers in this country. Second time we tried their dressed crab, it was sublime with some of their new potatoes. Definitely try the food here if you are self catering in Fowey, next time we return I think we will eat out less and try more from this place.

During a week in Cornwall we did an appraisal of pasties and found the Kittows to be the best one of the week!! Absolutely delicious. And with such beautiful views of the estuary in the sunshine it was a perfect day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful cornish pasties and nice sliced ham and turkey. Visited a few times. Always busy which is a good sign. Sells essentials, local meat, fruit veg, eggs, milk and hot or cold pasties which were delicious.

We made a little trip to kittows to get some supplies for the boat. Limp lettuce, and what was truly awful was the leek and ham quiche. Really thick pastry that was super stodgy, and the filling tasted glupey. Awful quiche that was not particularly cheap.Disappointing.

Get excited. Everything in Kittows is fantastic. The homemade pies, pasties and quiches looked awesome. We tried a salmon quiche and a scotch egg :)' Awesome.

A real gem of a find in Fowey. After a long hike, a Cornish pasty to replenish the energies.Lots of filling, didn't scorch my mouth and really tasty.Served with a smile too, a fab experience. Shame we didn't have room for any of the other delicious looking food on offer, especially the cakes!

Having stayed in Fowey last week with friends we had Cornish pasties from Kittows. What a treat - they were so fantastic we had to bring some home.

This is a fantastic butchers and bakery in Fowey with an amazing selection of fish, meat and poultry. I highly recommend going here for your breakfast or lunch but if you're purely interested in the pastry side of things I would recommend going to the quay bakery as the bread etc.

What a great find! This is near the Ship Inn and the church. There is a lot of choice considering the size of the store... practically offering most things that you might like to eat when self catering. It is also open on Sundays (in May, anyway). We stocked up on some savoury treats...such as, homemade salmon and broccoli quiche, pate, soda bread, salad, bananas, tomatoes, plums. The pate was homemade by the owner, who is a really helpful, cheerful gentleman, and the quality of his delicatessen food is superb. The sausages and bacon from here are delicious! We will definitely be buying from here again. Outside is a small but very well chosen selection of quality fruit, salad greens, and vegetables; inside you will find lovely olives, mouth watering cakes, a great meat and fish counter ... so much is packed into this place. It was a pleasure to shop there.

A good butchers section, deli and dairy...lots of Cornish goodies and fresh fruit and vegetables. Very handy in the centre of Fowey and a good selection for self catering.

All my party were talking about getting a pasty in Fowey, and I was thinking here we go again, I'll have a piece of fruit. When to my delight I spotted this deli and the very clear sign advertising gf pasty pie and other yummies. I went straight in and was served by a very helpful lady, who explained that most of the products were frozen, so I could come back in an hour, or she did have one pasty pie that has been baked off. I opted for this and so glad I did, it was delicious...for once my party were watching me eat. Very reasonably priced too.

On our tick list for our Cornish holiday was a proper pasty. Kittows is situated on the quay near where the foot passenger boat lands and it had a choice of warm pasties as well as other delicious looking items in their deli. £3.95 for a steak & stilton or tradional cornish - extra £1 to go large. Delicious pastry and filling, with decent chunks of proper steak. We sat and ate them on the front to watch the boats - lovely, but do watch out for greedy seagulls as we saw one person have a toasted sandwich stolen as they were eating it!

Situated in the centre of Fowey. Buy your cornish pasties here and then take them to the landing stage to eat them whilst watching the activities in the Harbour.

We only dropped in to pick up a couple of sandwiches when we stopped in Fowey whilst walking along the south west coast path from Polkerris to Polperro. They made us up some fresh deli sandwiches from scratch. I'n not sure I've ever had a better sandwich in my life. Really high quality ingredients, and just tasted amazing.

Family run business always ready to spend time and help you with what you want. Even managed to conjure me up some fresh dill on Christmas Eve - I enquired at 11 and picked up the dill at 3pm. Unbeatable!

We only went into the shop for sausages as we knew they were good but ended up buying way more. The meat is excellent and so are the cakes and pastries. All local produce and the butcher can tell you all about them.
