Absolutely Amazing!!! From the first meeting with Lewis until the time we left this morning. Brilliant communication, stunning venue, amazing food and unbelievably awesome staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went above and beyond for everything. They made our wedding experience one to never forget. And we will be forever grateful. Went here as they advertised Scottish breakfast. The man liked it lots but said it could have been bigger! The cakes looked impressive but we'll have to come back to sample those!

Loved coming to this pub, amazing atmosphere, so nice to sit outside near the canal. The food was outstanding and definitely worth the price. All the staff were welcoming and they can take a good banter.

Come quite regularly usually visiting every 6 to 8 weeks and have done so for about 15 years so I think I’m pretty well qualified to give an unbiased review. Cafe is great, love the soups! We bought a series of cutlery, some plates, other little bits, £1. I think the comments about the cost of some other items such as the furniture is unfair. There are an array of sofas, chairs, tables, furniture for some incredibly reasonable prices. The picture of the sofa for £700 or whatever…it’s huge, a four seater and a large two seater. Both in really good condition. Or if that’s not to your taste or budget literally 5 steps away from that is a reasonably priced alternative and then just as you walk in the door 20/25 other seating alternatives. But again, with these public reviews that potentially last forever on the internet I think it’s also important to remember the people that work and give their time and energy to change their little bit of the world for the better. Keep doing what you’re doing. And if you think a sofa set is worth £700 odd quid, so be it, and if you don’t…maybe don’t worry about it, go upstairs and have a big mug of tea for a £1.

We’re not really review people…. But this place deserves one, as I feel people will miss this place possibly due to the location. We are a family of super picky eaters and food snobs so often spend a fortune at expensive restaurants, however this beats most places hands down. The food is so fresh and the selection is incredible. We’ve been for breakfast here and Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Literally zero complaints and the owner is just so welcoming and accommodating. I can’t recommend here highly enough, please do not let the location stop you from going. This is a hidden gem and I cannot rate the food highly enough.

Excellent little bistro in Ventnor town producing food that is of a very high standard.

Great experience, friendly staff that cannot do enough for you. And the food... Is something else, if your only in poole for a holiday try this place always take my family here and they love it.

Family run place at the top end of town (or at least up a hill). We had the minted Barnsley Chop which was beautifully cooked. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Very well-recommended.
