Always great food and always great service. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food. Prices are normal and I am happy to pay for what I get. Staff are very polite and friendly. Food come out quite quick but mornings are very busy so bear that in mind. I will be back each time I am around.

My 1st trip to Rayleigh, so I was looking for a nice place to go. This came up as a recommendation in trip advisor, so I headed down from the central part of town to this lovely cafe. Got to sit outside with my dog and the food and service have excellent. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic place to go with friends, family or solo. Have been here frequently since I moved to rayleigh 18 months ago. Great choice of menu, portions are very generous and food is superb. Staff can't do enough for you really helpful and polite and go out of their way. Highly recommend this place

The best breakfast I've had in a long time! Friendly staff, plenty of room I had Croque Madame, it was delicious. Not a bad price either. Will be returning for sure. Only downside parking, had to pay £3.30 to park in the pub opposite.

Lovely place, welcoming staff. But a lil bit hard for us to get in & out of the table. With a person with Lewy Body Dementia, so his legs aren't what they use to be, so that isn't the Café 11 issue, I just would try a different table next time. As it was scrummy & clean.

Really really dissapointed, first time going to cafe No.11, got there for 5 past 9 and by 5 past 10 they are asking us to leave as they needed the table, bear in mind I hadn’t even finished my drink. You can’t book so really shouldn’t be asking us to leave after being there for just under an hour, won’t be going back bad customer service

Absolutely wonderful place for bite or a coffee, incredible owner who delivers the best customer service experience we have ever experienced and all staff can't do enough for you. Lots of choice, delicious food and top-notch coffee. Café No. 11 is always an absolute delight. HIGHLY recommend!

Myself and my other half come to Cafe.No11 on a regular basis and a have never once been disappointed with either service or food/drink. I have my ‘usual’ bacon and egg sandwich with chips and my other half usually has the delicious salad!! The food is always so fresh, tasty and well presented!! Staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is ever too much! Absolutely love this place and will continue to come back often!! Thank you

Went in intending to have coffee and light lunch. Food looked super but very big portions. So I decided not to eat and explained to the lovely gentleman who served me with a very good coffee. So imagine my surprise when he bought me a portion of Dorset apple cake - compliments of the house! What an incredible gesture and customer relations! Will definitely be back to try the lovely food - but will come hungry! Thanks a lot ! Very satisfied customer!

We had the Eggs Royale, Halloumi and Chilli Jam sandwiches and the No.11 Breakfast - all HIGHLY recommended. This was my first time here, but came with friends who love the place. A lovely place to eat in Rayleigh. This is the second time I have eaten here. The food is amazing, and the staff are friendly.

This is a lovely spot that has recently been established by some friends we've known for quite some time. We had been meaning to visit them at their new workplace, and finally, we got the opportunity to do so. The first impression was a bit tricky—there wasn't any parking directly next to the café. I later discovered that there is a local pay-and-display parking area, but the café offers a refund by deducting the fee from your bill if you provide the parking receipt, which was a nice touch. As we approached, I noticed a charming outdoor seating area at the front of the shop. It looks perfect for enjoying a summer day or any time the weather allows. The covered seating also provides the option to sit outside even when it rains, which would be especially appealing to smokers. Walking in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, which immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere had a unique vibe—something between a cosy café for hardworking folks and a touch of luxury. The décor had an authentic charm, and while the ambiance was quite relaxed, the service felt very refined—almost to the point of being a bit posh. While I was expecting to see a couple of friends running the place together, sharing the cooking in the kitchen and serving, I found out that they have a professional team in the kitchen with long-term experience serving both locals and passers-by. We took a glance at the menu, but were gently persuaded to try some of the specialties recommended by the staff. We ended up ordering a freshly made omelette with cheese and fresh peppers, prepared in a style I hadn't seen before. It was almost pizza-like, less of a typical omelette and more of a creative twist. Though I personally wasn't a fan of the peppers, the dish was quite good overall, and I'd definitely order it again—just without the peppers next time. We also tried the avocado toast with poached eggs, which looked beautifully presented. The only thing I wasn't quite keen on was the slightly sour taste of the avocado. Perhaps it was just a preference, as I don't usually enjoy sour flavors, but it might be exactly what some people look for in avocado toast. The chips were delightful—thick and hearty, almost like they were oven-baked rather than deep-fried. I loved the chunky texture, which made them feel rustic and comforting. Our tea was served in a proper teapot, adding a classic touch to the experience. However, there were a few too many tea bags, making it a bit stronger than we would have preferred—but again, this might just be a matter of taste. As a final word about the place, as I mentioned, it feels authentic, but I still think something is missing. It could have been much better. For example, the serving bar area takes up too much space, and the best spot in the shop is occupied by the serving bar—it takes up almost half of the entire place. Overall, we really enjoyed the visit. The warmth of the staff, the unique style of the dishes, and the cozy-yet-classy atmosphere left a lasting impression. We'll definitely be back—with a couple of tweaks to our orders!

We’ve eaten brunch here quite a few times. Food is always excellent and very good service. Even our dog got fed. Our favourite place to eat in Rayleigh would highly recommend. Loads of gluten free options

All superbly artfully presented, mouthwateringly delicious, a party in the mouth experience! The service was something you dream of nowadays - friendly with lots of fun and smiles - professional, loveable ppl enjoying their day too! We had a great experience. Welcomed to visit with a dog (sitting outside). Fantastic food, coffee was lovely, water bowl for our dog. Good value.

This is a delightful cafe - the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is lovely. I celebrated a special birthday here with my family, and between us we had the bangkok burger, scrambled tofu, veggie sausage sandwich & traditional breakfast. All very much enjoyed. Also we had banana milkshakes, including a vegan one made with oat milk, which was delicious! The owner is clearly passionate about giving everyone a happy experience and that makes such a difference when dining out. Small touches like the bright flowers on each table added to the ambiance - it really is a beautiful setting. I love the coffee here and we finished our meal with coffees & cappuccinos. The offer of something on the house as a birthday gesture took me by surprise and was extremely kind and generous. We'll be back soon!

We had our first visit today and it most certainly will not be our last. The food was very tasty, and they were very considerate for different dietary requirements, and it was all fresh and served by lovely people.

We had brunch there with two friends, service and food were excellent, cost in line with other places in Rayleigh 👍🏼 definitely recommend this place.

Me, my 3 years old and my mum had the best lunch here today. Delicious food and drinks with warm and friendly service. Since the cafe is under new ownership everything got much better! Went for breakfast with Family this morning. They were very accommodating and patient with the changes we made. The food was beautiful, hot and well cooked. I was particularly impressed with the scrambled Tofu. The people are lovely and there's a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

First time I’ve been in cafe 11 since changing ownership. Me and my daughter popped in for my birthday. Management and staff are so welcoming…such a lovely atmosphere. The food was outstanding…and the lovely gentleman gave me a drink and complimentary cake because it was my birthday. Didn’t expect it and made my day feel extra special. First visit to café 11 today and certainly won't be our last, went for a weekday breakfast, great menu with plenty of different options, if you do want a full English that's on the menu, the food is extremely well presented and the coffee was very good, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I understand that the weekends can be busy but being able to go during the week service was really quick.

So refreshing to receive high end, locally sourced, quality food in a relaxed cafe setting. Service was fantastic and a really great atmosphere!

This place remains the numero uno eatery of its type in Rayleigh. First visit in ages today but still very high standards of food and service. The chorizo hash was sublime and all dishes look and taste amazing served by friendly, helpful owners/staff. Keep doing what you're doing Cafe #11!

Visited for the first time yesterday (won’t be the last) fantastic cafe. Food was amazing, had the chorizo hash & shared fries & hash browns. Staff really friendly, nothing was too much trouble and even though it was very busy didn’t feel rushed. Will be back very soon

Massively overrated, the staff are good but food and the dishes are very strange, poor and overly seasoned everything !!

Came here for brunch and had the chorizo hash and a four shot latte. Both were amazing. Service was very friendly and prompt as well for such a small small place.

Came here for breakfast with our friends. Honestly it was awful- we ate it because we were all so hungry and embarrassed but it was vile. Waitresses looked miserable and could hear them moaning about other customers, didn’t even ask if we wanted anymore drinks, asked if they had any burger sauce and was told ‘ I don’t know’ My boyfriend nearly got mugged in Southend Friday night but he felt more mugged by this rubbish meal and service. So expensive for a vile meal. Feel like I’ve eaten a bag of salt.

My first time using No 11 cafe and it will be my last. I ordered 3 drinks which was £10. Went back at lunch time to order food to take away, 3 toasted sandwiches with 3 hot drinks, £30, got back to job site to eat our lovely TOASTED SANDWICHES which wasn't, we had 3 flimsy rubber cheese a piece of tomato and onion in white boring bread, I called the cafe up to tell them and he said that I ordered off menu but still had the right ingredients, the chef was standing there when I ordered so if it was so hard to toast the sandwiches he should have said, I asked if there was any compensation for this terrible lunch and I was told if you come down and reorder he will take off 10%. I should of gone to Tesco's and got us a meal deal each for a third if the price, £40 I spent in cafe no11 today and didnt get any proper compensation or apology. 1st and LAST time of using this place.

Staff were rude so we didn’t even bother to wait for our food to arrive, got told to stand 50 meters away from the cafe to have a vape, it’s also very noisy due to excessive traffic and far too close to the main road, with exhaust fumes filling the air close to the cafe - we wouldn’t return

I always loved this place but sadly I don’t think I’ll go back. I’m currently on maternity leave and on 2 occasions I have been made to feel so unwelcome with my pram by the same male member of staff. I appreciate it’s not huge in there but each time space could have been made for us. It seemed it wasn’t worth the hassle and I was left awkwardly standing at the door, clearly not welcome to stay. It’s such a shame. I was a big supporter during lockdown and was so pleased when they announced they were doing take away again as it has always been our favourite. Saddened former customer.

Really disappointed from our visit. Not only were we left to wait an hour for our food (which was lovely when we got it), after mentioning about replacing the egg with bacon, due to a severe egg allergy, I was still charged for the bacon. Once complaining that we were told the egg could be replaced when placing the order, they said “sorry, that’s not the way we operate”. If you have allergies, THEY WILL NOT CATER.

Ordered traditional breakfast with granary toast (got white) ordered a side of a slice of sourdough and butter (got plain white) everything covered in salt (I don’t add salt) Bueno milkshake was warm and only tasted slightly of chocolate. Order was wrong and for what we got it was not value for money at all!

Never actually ate anything as we couldn’t order a takeaway. Called on a Saturday night on & off for 60 minutes from 5.30 to order food for 4 people which would have cost £60/£70. No response on phone, just rang & said this mail box is full. If they had answered & said sorry no more takeaways then I would have understood but no answer & advertising takeaways Friday & Saturday evenings on their FB page. Very frustrating.

Fantastic cafe! The food is so good! You can get your standard English breakfast but there are lots of other options for foodies seeking something different! You can't book which can be tricky at the weekend but for a Thursday morning in August there were seats available.

First time visiting this place, very busy, waited 40mins for food but was told this at the start. Nice food would recommend.

The Cafe was no more than half full, but we had to wait 40min from our order being taken to it being served. My wife had an all day breakfast and some of it was cold
