Very good food,good value for money and friendly staff

Nice little cafe. Shame the portions aren't as big and menu changed, breakfast part.

I've only put one star because there's no option to mark down. To be honest just overall poor, breakfast was very bland and dry and coffee was awful. Just moved locally but won't be coming back .

Good food, fairly priced Clean and friendly cafe. Can't fault it and will visit again.

Popped in for a sandwhich, suppose you could say brunch. Reasonable prices. Good clean cafe. Sandwhich was good. As was the staff.

Traditional style cafe with good food and great service.

Okay but not great, I arrived and it was small but they made good use of the space, being a small room though it gets really loud even when not busy. When asked take-away or eat in by the server who was also the manager and cook, we sat down and he walked off, 5 mins later we was asked what we wanted to eat, I switched a few things around, nothing extravagant, some chips and water, with his poor skills he didnt ask how we wanted the meal or if it was bread or toast, bottle water or tap, he walks off again not saying anything, another 5 mins later a bottle of water is given and I said I wanted tap please for my own reasons, the bottle was snatched off the table and literally thrown to the bottom of the fridge, when the chips came they looked great, however they were really dry, like really dry, full english came and the sausages were over cooked and wrinkled, they we also the same sausages you get in a fish and chip shop as apose to your everyday Cumberland type, the egg was over cooked including the yolk, the rest of the food was manageable, asking for 1 hash brown took my dinner from 5.60 to 8.60. I paid it unwantingly, if I was you and you wanted better food I would honestly just go cook it yourself, it was a waste of money that didnt need to be spent, next time I'll go somewhere else.

They didn't have a specifically vegan breakfast but I was able to adapt vegetarian breakfast to suit me. Extra mushrooms were a great swap for eggs. Very friendly and helpful.

As always great food at a great price. The only place we will eat out at since covid, every table, chair, menu, condiments etc cleaned between customers, what more can they do to keep you safe? Staff are always cheerful and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, the best and safest place to eat out at

Not bad. A good standard cafe breakfast for a reasonable price. Staff polite and seemed to know their regulars very well. I'd pop in here again if I'm passing.

Good menu, well cooked, affordable food

What a find ! Decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway breakfast and couldn't have had better. Everything was hot, tasty and there is a big variety of choices. Reasonably priced, portions good, what more could you want ? Plus owner is nice as well !

I often visit the cafe when my girlfriend is on shift work and I don't want to cook for myself. The food here is value for money and is really good food I would definitely recommend this place.

Good value and friendly service

We dropped in here for lunch - the menu is good value British 'caff' staples, the staff are friendly and accommodating, food was fresh & quickly cooked.

I will keep this review short and to the point. Stumbled across this Cafe purely by accident a couple of years ago and have used it ever since. The food is always cooked fresh and they only use the best ingredients, not the cheap stuff like you find in other cafes. Staff are always polite and happy. I would recommend this cafe to anyone without any fear of having a bad meal. Give it a try, you'll be back for more, guaranteed.

Good little place good food came out Hot and they do a wicked cappuccino, defo worth a visit if your in the area.

Not been here for a few months, but in need of breakfast before travelling up to town, I called in. The food here is exceptionally good with both the sausages and bacon being of a good standard. It was very well presented and very clean. I washed my fare down with a very nice cup of coffee which was again of a good standard Would I return? Most certainly, Bravo!!

Not been here for a while, but popped in to get out of the rain and had a hearty breakfast. The food was very good, plus the coffee was excellent too. The staff were also efficient and very friendly. I think my next visit will be for lunch as various specials on their blackboard sound quite inviting. Bravo!!¹

I was in your establishment eating my food when a rather large man walked up to my table and sat there. Some might refer him as a big unit. He then suddenly snatched a chip from my plate and exclaimed I can’t help my self. He reached for my plate and ate all of my food like a pig in a hay stack. This is my complaint!!!

Great well priced food! Management has recently changed. I was told that prices had gone up and portion size had gone down. This was not the case! The prices were still reasonable and the portion sizes were huge! Lovely independent cafe. Would recommend for lunch, breakfast and any time of day. The breakfasts they do are brilliant.

Staff are always welcoming and the food is the best in that area, and also further afield come to that. Well worth a visit. Breakfast number 7 for me every time. Excellent. Extremely good value too. Since writing this review I'm sad to say that the owner/chef has sold the cafe and in my personal view it does not give the same service or high quality of food. I have eaten twice since the new owners have had it. On the first visit I was served with some wrong items on the plate and the second visit I'm sad to say wasn't much better. It is doubtful that I will return for a third try. Such a shame really but I wish the original owner success in his new venture.

I ordered the grilled chicken with rice and salad, the salad was Turkish stlyle and done to perfection extra olives ontop aswell which was lovely. The chicken was tender, fresh and cooked nicely. for £6.50 it was definitely worth it. Was waiting about 5-10 minutes after I'd finished for payment/plate collection.

Nice food and clean. But unfortunately over priced so I won't be returning.

Overcooked pizza and nasty coleslaw ruined whole salad. Shame as wasn't cheap either

As my title says, this is a Lovely café with Excellent food, realistic prices and friendly, happy staff. The food is always cooked fresh and the waiting time is minimal. I have and will continue to recommend this café to friends and family, or anyone that asks. Well done to you all. Keep it up. Oh, and the music is excellent. A real change. Thank you.

We're served a delicious all day breakfast with coffee. Did not have to wait very long before our food was delivered. Would recommend.
