Bentley's Cafe in Rochford

Visited 1st time this morning. Food very nice, fast service as well friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will definitely came back soon.

We were not served promptly but a waitress apologised when she realised. Our food was very nice and what good ideas to have cheese on toast with a poached egg on top. Good lunch

We had breakfast here for a change , and found the service fast and friendly . The meals were cooked nicely , and reasonably priced . The coffee is good . The waitress was friendly and we think we have found our new favourite cafe .

I've been going in there on Sunday morning for over 2 years. Food is great and staff are welcoming and friendly. My bacon egg and sausage roll to take away is always very nice, I also go there for breakfast and eat in when I can and it's always well cooked and consistently the same quality. Can't recommend this place enough and if you go there they are always busy and that's always a good sign. Great place.

Wet microwave scrambled egg. Plate of water. Won’t be back.

stone cold and no bread what a waste of money

I was in !. Delivery did not arrive. Just Eat said delivered at 13:18. Contacted restaurant who said 5 mins. waited to 14:00 and request a refund from Just eat. They said driver had attempted to deliver / left food outside. No door camera evidence.

Everything good & apart from Mediterranean breakfast missing items such as olives, Nutella, honey.

Food was stone cold second time order and can’t get there food right

We only popped in for a snack but the place was heaving. Obviously a nod to it's good reputation. Very clean, nice food and lovely staff who were so helpful to older and more infirm customers.

we got the wrong sandwich altogether, asked for chicken for a just a bacon baguette, waste of 4.00 as nobody ate it. how can you get this so wrong. BBQ chicken baguette and instead just bacon baguette.

My group and I were really looking forward to having breakfast at Bentley's because of the reviews we saw. From the minute we walked in we felt uncomfortable. We felt that we were racial profiled instantly, which is very surprising considering the positive reception we have received since arriving in Cardiff. It doesn't matter who walks in to your establishment, you should always greet people with kindness and all we got was attitude. Shame on you.

I use ‘Just Eat ‘ quite a lot for reliability and service I am disabled and elderly I placed an order for r 2 Breakfast from Bentleys at Rayleigh Essex when it was ready I received a notification your order is ready come and collect? Why would I want to collect if I ordered from just eat? I must admit I didn’t see the collect button was not on delivery luckily the restaurant delivered it with one of their staff on time so I shall be deleting the just eat up and using alternative service

Unfortunately the breakfast was awful, I ordered something extra and the container and 2 massive bite marks in it so the food was on show which was really concerning. Poor quality of food and for 20 quid you’d expect better.

As cafes go this is right up there. Good portions well cooked and presented. The menu is just as you'd expect. No unpleasant surprises. Can really recommend this place.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up having lunch. Good selection from the menu, from snacks to full meals. Reasonably priced

Had a lovely breakfast with my friend, the ladies serving, were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Portions were generous & tasty & great value. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Delivery driver was soo late, all the food was cold and horrible so all into the, took pictures and now sent them in.

Walls were dirty waitresses touching hair and faces not washing there hands. Brought over the wrong item then accused me of lying when I told them it wasn't mine, eggs benedict was awful eggs were hard boiled won't be going back

Best breakfast in the area, I order at least 3 times a week and always consistently yummy! Notes on order actually read, and food always turns up correct.

Took over an hour for the delivery person on a push bike to turn up, with the wrong order! He was rude. Resturant were extremely unhelpful and rude. I want a full refund.

Delivery didn't arrive at all. No fault of Bentleys but JustEat deliberately makes it difficult to complain about non delivery. Need to claim a refund. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated 😡

Food was all nice! Tea was a little too milky for my liking and had spilt all over along with the cup becoming soggy from that. Would recommend the meal!

We were looking for a place in Rayleigh for breakfast and stumbled across Bentleys. It had a real buzz about it and looked, and smelt, very inviting. We were not disappointed! The place was spotless and the staff from start to finish extremely welcoming and friendly. The English breakfast (set meal 6) was probably the best I have had in ages. My partner fancied trying the Turkish sausage which was great. So glad we came across you - thankyou!!! We WILL be back!

Been here a few times when getting my car fixed or serviced at the excellent Rayleigh MOT. Food, coffee and service are all excellent. The home cooked stuff like Shepheard's pie is great.

Everything was great. Thought I would order a hot meal and give it a try, as I only ordered cold baguette &sandwiches before from here and have been happy . Pleased to say I was impressed with the hot meal. Definitely 💯 arrived nice and hot and delicious. Thanks for a great meal

Unfortunately, the steak was the worst I’ve ever eaten. It was extremely grizzly, over 70%, well dry and well well done. Chips were horrid but the tomatoes were tasty. Although, the jacket potato was of a good size, it was hard in places. Filling tasty.

I was in there today and after my late breakfast of egg Benedict with in 10 minutes I had to rush to the bathroom with a very upset tummy - been throwing up several times. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Bacon and sausage wasn’t cooked both stone cold and wasn’t eat able, called the restaurant up twice and they kept hanging up both times , the lady was rude last time I ever use Bentleys

We love Bentleys food it’s always fresh and hot when it arrives.

Love this place. Have met my son for lunch for the past few weeks and Bentleys is our top place to go to. I had the jacket potato last week which was delicious. The potatoes are huge and with a side salad included the plate is piled high. Had the ham salad today and again the portion was huge. The staff are really friendly. Gets very busy around 1pm but they will try and fit you in where possible.

Food was never delivered. When I called the cafe they said that it wasn’t their issue and nothing they can do about it

Unfortunately both sandwiches were cold delivery was 30mins after the estimated time when you live not half a mile from the restuarant you expect the sandwich to be reasonably hot surely

Food was pretty good,nothing to moan about. Was very busy,so noisy with people so difficult to chat but honest value food anyway. Staff were quick taking our orders and friendly enough. Perfect if you are short of time. Included menu in photos as the list is vast,so something for everyone. Coffee was pretty good

Great cafe fry up, just as it should be. Good portions, good food, staff on the ball, busy at times, because they are good, that ain't a bad thing.

Food was OK, staff were a bit weird though. Almost verging on the rude side and made a very strange request when it can time for payment. This is my second time here and after this interaction its probably going to be my last.

My mum ordered me breakfast for my birthday and this cafe went the extra mile and surprised me with a cake and a message saying happy birthday, what lovely people you are! Breakfast tasted great too and the smoothies! 💕

Specifically asked for no cucumber as an intolerance and got the meal with excess cucumber!

Missed items off then refused to deliver them and told me to get a refund, awful service, delivery driver was rude, person on the phone was rude and was clueless

Disappointing! didn’t ask for all the salad inside just wanted the chicken curry with rice that’s it! no onions or peppers or coleslaw or carrots just the curry and rice.

Lovely driver walked all the way to top floor to give me my food thanks . Iv bought from here before and note the Great reviews . Appreciate my morning breakfast .

Wow - absolutely amazing food! Salad was so full of variety and so fresh. A little on the pricey side but very much worth it.

This cafe is beautiful! I love the customer service and food is made beautifully and I would say price is average but good for what you get definitely. I recommend going here In the morning for breakfast or lunch as its a very nice atmosphere. Also, their homemade milkshakes are THE best I have had in my entire life generally! They offer a bit of everything such as paninis, sandwiches, salads, and nearly every breakfast you can think of... they have a lot of variety. 100% worth 5 stars!

The food is ALWAYS delish from Bentleys, I don’t know where Rayleigh would be without that Team, it serves the community and it’s a wonderful Hub for everyone to connect through some fantastic Home cooked delights, the Lasagne was delicious. Thank you everyone at Bentleys, I know how hard you all work to provide the service and food that you do and also community connections for many, none of it goes unnoticed, the best of it kind for me.
