Quiet overnight parking for motorhomes £5 pn. I rang ahead and the owner asked if we would like the toilets leaving open overnight, which was brilliant. Lovely and clean with hot & cold running water. There are bins on the carpark and I did spot a cold water tap over near the bin store. Had breakfast in the morning at the cafe. Spoke to the owner who welcomed everyone. What’s not to like, if you’re in or near the area and need an overnighter this is fab.

Great atmosphere, fantastic wines, outstanding customer service. Grace in particular is lovely and Duncan is so well informed on wine, he’ll make your head spin! Dog friendly is always a plus and the cheese and charcuterie board is definitely a winner. Dog friendly yourself a favour and treat yourself to a visit!

We recently went to the Rose and Crown for a lovely Friday night meal. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope and is easily accessible from the surrounding towns and villages. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended! (we'll be back soon!)

This cafe is up towards Graham Place from the main street. We enjoyed soup, toasties, coffees and two slices of a deliciously moist chocolate cake before setting off for the St Margaret's Hope ferry. It was very relaxed with a friendly atmosphere, with local artwork on the walls, some for sale. Service was excellent and we would recommend this as somewhere to eat after visiting the town's excellent museum.
