Come here often with friends as cafe is spacious and service is always great! Would highly recommend the BLT bagel and so well priced at £7!

First visit for brunch and won’t be the last. Lovely food and friendly staff. Never tried scrambled tofu before and it was great in the vegan breakfast. Lots to try on the menu - we’ll be back for pancakes, Buddha bowl and cakes for sure.

Fab veggie and vegan options. Love the sandwiches and breakfasts. Lots of coffee options and even vegan milkshakes! What’s not to love!

My husband and I came to this place this morning for breakfast. When I went to the till to place my order, I was astonished at the level of rudeness I was met with, so much so I was close to tears. We didn't realise that this was a mainly vegan cafe, but as there was non vegan items on the menu, I wanted to change these items from a vegan choice to a meat choice as this was an option on the menu. To my mind this should have been easy.... The guy at the till huffed everytime I asked to change something rolled his eyes twice, and when I asked if it was ok to change things he said yes. After the third huff I said to him if its to much I'd go elsewhere because to me the huffing was rude. He replied sarcastically "I can't help it sorry" and rolled his eyes again. I cancelled my order and left very upset and confused how someone can treat someone like that. I wouldn't advise going there. Awful experience.

Really lovely dog friendly cafe. Had a toastie and it was fresh and really yummy! Lovely atmosphere with people chatting and dogs resting.

Impromptu brunch - venue suggested by my daughter as plenty of room for the buggy. Really enjoyed our food; friendly service; spacious (not just for buggies but felt roomy enough not to be "on top of" fellow diners). Would definitely return (and will try the Brighton branch to see if it's as good).

It was so nice to find a place offering a large selection of great vegan food. Had the vegan breakfast which was delicious and huge, the staff were lovely and most importantly the coffee was great!! Even got cake to take home. Will definitely be back.

Took my friend there before ice skating as she fancied some pancakes and I fancied a piece of cake for my bday. The fruity one pancakes looked lovely. I had tripple chocolate brownie. I had it while back but forgot just how good it is. The coffee is lovely too and I always like sipping on the cappuccino revealing the doggie in the cup :-)

Finally went here today after a year of driving past and saying 'we must go there', we absolutely loved it. We had a mocha and an Americano first then both had bacon bagels, I also had a smoothie which was outstanding. Will definitely be returning.

First visit and will be back again. Super food and service, both enjoyed lovely breakfasts, one regular and one veggie, with great quality ingredients. Added bonus of being dog friendly and offering lovely gifts to buy. Would highly recommend.

I have used the laughing Dog quite few times as it is a very convenient location to stop at close to Steine Gardens, Always a friendly welcome, good coffee,a choice of cakes/danish etc. The interior is spacious uncrowded and with some interesting items for sale.
