The Garden Pantry in Worthing

I asked for a strong decaf with lots of chocolate on top... and thats exactly what I got! Amazing coffee and prepared just as I wanted.

Amazing takeaway salad!! Very generous portions with a reall good mix of salad items ranging from beetroot to olives, plus its not mainly lettuce like you get with a lot of other salads. Good service too!

Went there today with my mother for a light lunch. Couldn’t see on the extensive menu the sandwich I love to make at home but could see from other sandwiches they made that they had the ingredients. (Bacon, Brie, Avocado, cranberry sauce, mayo on toasted granary…heavy on the pepper) Asked if they could make it special and it was NO problem. He suggested it toasted and that he would add the avocado after and his suggestion was spot on…yummy!!

Have eaten there several times ( in or takeaway ) and they’re always consistently fresh and generous portions! I eat out regularly in Worthing and sadly many places recently only seem focused on price increases at the same time as unreasonable portion control! This place is a breath of fresh air with superb fresh food and sensible prices and always a friendly face to greet you! Also very Dog friendly. If you haven’t tried this place for lunch or breakfast then you really should! 💯% ✅

Great coffee and hot chocolate. Really nice food. Have the option to make up your own salad which was great. Staff were really nice and friendly. Will be back when we're next in town.

i ordered a buffet for 16 people for a sunday delivery in July in my parents garden. there was enough food for at least another 5 - 6 people ! the food was absolutely delicious, it was well presented and it was exactly as i had requested !! without a doubt i would highly recommend The Garden Pantry for outside catering and will definitely be using them again !

I have breakfast at the garden pantry every morning and have the advocado on toast , which I must say was absolutely gorgeous,. And very reasonably priced & have to add I have just seen this review that it was shocking and said it was priced at £6. 50 and sliced . Well I must ask if you have the wrong place as it certainly was NOT . It was 2 slices with smashed avocado and only £3.10 I have been here before and always have the same with and coffee which also is exceptional value and very tasty .

I've stopped here for coffee a number of times in the morning and have always loved their oat milk lattes. A little expensive but I enjoy them so it's fine. This morning I decided to get a little extra and ordered Avocado on toast for both me and my wife, to take away. Again expensive as it was £3.10 each and what we got for that was a little shocking. They have an open kitchen so I could see them prepare it and they spread a quarter of an Avocado on a slice of shop bought granary toast spread it around with the back of a spoon to cover it thinly and that was it. No seasoning or anything. So for two slices of bread with half an Avocado spread across them it cost £6.20. This is not a "don't go here" review as I do love their coffee and would strongly recommend it. But it is more a please to the owner, if you are going to charge that much for Avocado on toast please make it worth it or make it a reasonable price for what it is. Photo of what I got attached!

Had the best tuna tuna sandwhich I've ever had out! All the meals were delicious and incredible value for money. Coffees were great too. Well worth popping by for breakfast or lunch!

My boyfriend buys his coffee here every day and loves it so today we’ve collected some sandwiches for lunch. The coronation chicken is very tasty! The bread is super fresh and each sandwich has loads of filling. They are wearing masks and have some sanitiser for customer use. There was small queue when we went but they worked through pretty quickly. Will 100% be back this was lovely!

We live just round the corner and I have been meaning to visit for a long time - now I wish I had been sooner! Had a sausage and bacon sandwich and it was unreal! Quality ingredients cooked fresh, winner.

Every time I pass here on the bus it is busy, today we walked past and while originally intending a takeaway coffee, we opted to sit in because of the really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely cup of coffee, nice touch offering the free toast before 11am. Enjoyed the view of Steyne Gardens from the window seat. The lunchtime sandwich menu looked enticing as well. Wish I had been in before, treasure of a find!

Went here for my lunch and ordered the chicken mayo, Avocado and bacon sandwich on white. Sandwich was absolutely packed with filling and tasted amazing! Lovely friendly service also! Will be returning :)

I've enjoyed great breakfasts and lunches here after spinning at Splashpoint leisure centre . Best of all is the professionalism of the friendly staff. Excellent flat white coffees like no other.

Tome asiento y y él lo subirían más. Estaba delicioso, no es difícil hacer un sándwich, pero no todo el mundo tiene. Estos chicos no.. Stopped off here for a quick snacky snack before a long drive to twickneham, was greeted by the owner Tom and his cheeky little smile, had a lovely Brownie and a nice Latte. Mmmmm.

Busy little cafe, great for snacks and freshly made lunches. My office has used them quite a bit for meeting catering and we haven't been anywhere better! Quick and friendly service with tasty produce. Worth a visit, beats a package sarnie any day of the week ; )

Great coffee and sandwiches packed with filling! If you are feeling adventurous try the chocolate and bacon brownie! It's soooo surprisingly delicious. Highly recommend!

Tom and staff provide a constantly brilliant standard of service, unfailingly cheerful, accommodating requests from veggies and vegans with no drama. They provide good food and reasonable cost and a view of the park and sea free of charge! Best cafe in Worthing!

Visiting my family in Worthing and found this cafe in town. They do a good selection of food and drink in a trendy attractive pantry. Nice idea but seats hard, high and not very comfortable and like theyd been nicked from a hairdressers. Staff not very friendly or attentive prefering to chat to other staff as oppose to the customer. Not a good place to take my baby cousin either.

Visited with a friend for the first time this week. Limited seating but attentive service, great location by Steyne Gardens, fresh cakes. Friend visits this place most days now and enjoyed a prawn jacket potato

Garden Pantry is the best sandwich shop in Worthing. I have been buying food from here for the last year and have been nothing but impressed. The staff are very friendly, the food choice is well thought out and they do specials such as pulled pork. Well priced and good quality. I'm Constantly recommending it to friends!

I've visited The Garden Pantry several times and am always impressed with the friendly welcome every customer receives. The food is homemade, fresh and extremely tasty. There's a good range of coffees and other drinks. It's great to sit either inside or out and watch the world go by, you even have a sea view (across Steyne Gardens). I highly recommend a visit.

I work in Worthing 2 or 3 times a month and one day asked someone if they could buy me a sandwich.Well I was expecting the usual packaged one but what I got was a delicious, fresh and tasty one. I went to the Garden pantry this weekend with my partner and it is by far the best coffee and sandwich I have ever had in my life! My partner had a hot chocolate that she too agreed was the best she ever tasted. The staff were very welcoming and helped me with my sandwich choice! The truly is a little gem I will be sure to visit this coffee shop gain and advise anyone I come across just how great it is! Thank you very much!

I used to live a stones throw from The Garden Pantry and would visit every Saturday for their coffees, cakes and lunches. I still come here as I have not found a place better.The staff are absolutely incredible and I cannot rate this place high enough.

I have been going to the Garden Pantry since opening, it is a very friendly and happy place to go for that coffee and toast or snacks, all the staff are helpful and never a sad face. The service is fantastic and all the food cooked as you wish and is served fresh. Certainly a place to stop and grab a drink on the go or to sit and ponder. excellent worth a visit

I started going to the Garden pantry about a year and half ago and have never stopped. The food and drinks are delicious, especially the pulled pork and my new favourite the pizza toastie.Tom the owner is so friendly and nothing is ever to much trouble and the rest of the staff are the same. I work just next door to the Garden Pantry; my team and I are using Tom's place on daily basis. Everything is great from the service they provide to the quality of their jacket potatoes and sandwiches. Superb pull pork special and amazing hot drinks.

Clean, Friendly, Exceptional value for money. Tom values his customers and is a friendly guy who appreciates the buisness and backs it up with top notch coffee and a nice various menu of quality food to suit most. We were working across the road for 3 weeks which turned into about 9 weeks so were in there every morning for a nice coffee to drain out the beer and also our "Free Toast" which you get with your early morning cuppa. A big thanks for looking after us and good luck with your venture of The Garden Pantry, I have no hesistation in recommending anybody to try it. 10/10 Well Done.

I visit tom and co every day for my morning coffee and it's the best you can get anywhere nearby. Nothing worse than sandwich shops which use cheap coffee but they really know what they're doing at the Garden pantry

I have been going here for about two years. I usually visit for a tea in the morning and my lunch. Tom is the friendliest guy ever! He makes amazing cakes, and if he hasn't overslept you'll see an array of treats like pizza, sausage rolls and cheese and bacon wraps. All made fresh! I admire Tom, he is only 25 years he has done so well building his reputation. He makes my lunch with 'Love' just what you expect when you pay for lunch. Well done Tom!!! Keep up the good work.

Went into the garden pantry for the first time yesterday was very satisfied had the most delicious pork apple and stuffing bap, excellent value for money one of the best places to have your lunch in Worthing by far. Defiantly be coming back and recommending. Also lovely friendly staff all very happy and make you feel very welcome :)

Relax atmosphere with a clean and hygienic premises. A hidden gem in worthing town centre :-) with of course yummy sarnies and the best baps in worthing!

I have been going here since it opened, two years ago, and I have never been disappointed. The staff are fantastic, welcoming and always remember what you like, the food is lovely, fresh and made in front of you, all to order, exactly as you like it. There are a vast selection of coffees, teas, cakes and snacks available at all times. To top it all off, it is always superbly clean and the prices are thoroughly reasonable too.

The staff here cannot be faulted nothing is too much trouble. The food is fresh and good. Very good value for money. An excellent find!

Really good food friendly staff always put a smile on my face will be going there from now on for my lunch :)
