We received friendly service from the moment we walked in until we walked out being shouted goodbye at by all staff haha They were able to accommodate our list of intolerances with no fuss. The coffee was really good and the food was not only delicious but sexy! Will be coming here regularly, highly recommend!

I go here every week with friends they’ve got great friendly staff and great food, good value for money. Never had any complaints

What a little Gem! Really stylish inside, the coffee was great and the food was so tasty. Loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The staff were great especially the waitress Nina. She was so friendly and couldn’t do enough. She put a smile on all our faces. Especially liked the banter between her and the sexy chef 😃 I’d say book into advance if you are a larger group as it was pretty busy. If you want authentic home cooked food this is your place.

Come here with my girlfriend for brunch, I had a full English, she had bungaroosh brunch (vegan version of a fry-up). Both meals were so fresh. Clearly these guys care about top quality ingredients. Nina served us with a smile and made the morning enjoyable for us! Defo coming back.

A lovely little cafe in the town centre of Worthing. Excellent service, made us feel very welcome and really accommodating for my 9 month old. Delicious coffee. Can highly recommend the Bungaroosh breakfast (see photo), everything about it was delicious. Nice atmosphere with really attentive staff. Will definitely return to sample other menu options and recommend to friends and family.

I had a delicious lunch here today and will definitely be returning. I had the Mediterranean chicken salad which was so tasty with rotisserie chicken and my mum had the bungaroosh breakfast which she really enjoyed. The service was wonderful and everything was home-made which really showed in the interesting flavours and quality.

Bungaroosh is consistently fabulous... it remains one of our most regularly visited places to eat in Worthing - tucked away but not to be missed! The staff are friendly and responsive, the menu is always interesting and food delicious and perfectly cooked.

Great brunch, we had a mixture of Bungaroosh breakfast, full english, and spinach and eggs. In the words of my mother "the best breakfast I've ever had"

This is a lovey place to have lunch. The food is good and the staff are absolutely great. There’s a small amount of outside seating too and we were lucky to have got a table in the afternoon sun. They also serve a generous mug of tea!

We had to walk out. After being seated and given menus we were totally ignored. Two other tables were seated and orders taken. Other tables around us left. I caught staff members eyes several times - but they decided to carry on their chat. Three tables around the cafe were left full of dirty plates where customers had left, but again, staff decided to ignore these despite walking past numerous times. We were even ignored as we left, despite the fact one of the servers had to step aside to let us past!

Fantastic full English breakfast. Highly recommend eating here. We will certainly be back for more yummy food. The vegan options are super great too.

What a hidden gem! The food is fantastic and the service is even better. Nina was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable - she really brightened our day. Great veggie options and a wide range of lovely drinks. Warm, comfortable atmosphere. Next time we're in Worthing, we will certainly be back.

Not yet eaten as I'm on a diet but the food looks healthy and appetising. Very friendly and helpful staff and the coffee is perfect - I have flat white and have sat outside opposite the café in the sunshine as well as indoors. It's become my go to café in Worthing.

Lovely staff , friendly and efficient. There are so many Cafes in the town but not all of them are as good as Bugaroosh. The bonus with this cafe is when the Sun is right you can sit in it. The service is excellent , the coffee was delicious and the food and cakes looked fantastic. A really good choice on the menu , comfortable seats and a pleasant atmosphere make it my favourite. I've been to most in town , so I fancy myself as a good critic .. The breakfast menu had traditional and artisan choices , and you can see the food being a prepared freshly in front of your eyes. Thoroughly recommended. I must ask how they got the name ?

Great little place for lunch. It's tucked away in a side street and the staff are friendly, smiley and helpful. It's become our go to place when visiting Worthing - excellent quality and superb tasting food. Nothing too.much trouble for the friendly staff even though they were clearly working their socks off on a busy weekend day. We'll be coming here again!

Lovely little cafe which we stumbled across and would highly recommend. Staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Food was delicious & just what we needed, the Salt Beef Bagel was a particular highlight. Definitely worth a visit.

This is such a hidden gem! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food tastes as good as it looks like on the photos and is cheap for such quality. There is an ‘boutique’ tea section I fell in love with. There are so many different items on the menu I’d like to come back and try especially Lebanese themed items! The only thing is it is a bit dark inside inside but maybe that’s just my preference.

WOW what a find! A lovely little Bistro, serving delicious home-cooked, home-made, food hidden away in a back street just off Worthing's main drag! Oh! And the staff are lovely too!, perfect for a light lunch on market day!!

Was told about this cafe. Went for breakfast and the price was £11 for a full English breakfast to my surprise went to pay… and you have to pay extra for baked beans should this not be included.in the price why should you not be told only found out when I went to pay that the price had jumped up.I could have ordered a dinner. Piss take

I went here today with my daughter who is Gluten free and really wanted some cheesy chips . We asked the waitress if they could accommodate her needs and although cheesy chips were not on the menu they were more than happy to do them. These were the most delicious cheesy chips and I have to say we both enjoyed them. We had not been here before and were very impressed how much they had to offer which was gluten free as this has been a massive issue finding places to eat since my daughter has been diagnosed Coeliac and actually her enjoying the food . I massively recommend this place, lovely environment, warm and friendly staff who are more than happy to help. We will definitely be returning !

Really lovely lunch cafe with the best chips I have tasted in years. Apart from chips, the menu has healthy and tasty options including freshly prepared wraps and salads. Excellent choice for vegetarians. And it’s an independent business. Highly recommend. Just round the corner from Prets.

Excellent service and excellent food. Probably the most exciting vegan sandwich I’ve ever had out - genuinely delicious! Lovely smoothie and it was my friend’s birthday so the waitress brought cake with a candle for dessert. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Lovely little lunch spot! Delicious food, good sized portions and competitively priced. We had the lamb shawarma wrap and salt beef bagel with chips to share! Both came with a lovely side salad that felt like part of the dish rather than an afterthought. Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely return.

A really beautiful independent cafe with incredible food and staff. Nina and the team were so friendly and made us feel welcome. They brought out a slice of cake with a candle when they heard it was a birthday celebration. Seating is available outside and inside. The chicken wrap was delicious and I’d strongly recommend the chips too.

What a hidden gem! It's a shame this fantastic spot is tucked away off the main high street because more people should experience it. My son and I had a wonderful time here. We were warmly welcomed by a delightful lady who took great care of us throughout our visit. We opted for the breakfast sandwich, which was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The coffee was superb, and we enjoyed our meal outside in the sunshine. I only discovered the beautifully designed interior when I went inside to pay—what a pleasant surprise! The staff and food were perfect. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place, and we will definitely be returning soon.

I’ve been eating at Bungaroosh since I moved to Worthing many years ago. If you want a freshly prepared brunch or lunch, cooked from scratch that’s full of flavour and extremely good value visit this cafe. The service is always spot on very friendly and you’re supporting independent business. Take your friends and family here or chill on your own! My husband and I love it ❤️

This is our go to lunch spot on Worthing. Can't beat their shawarma with a side of chips. Everything cooked fresh on site, don't skimp on the meat in the wraps and lovely homemade chips. Always really friendly and you will pay a lot more for worse food elsewhere. A great spot

My friend and I had lunch at Bungaroosh and were delighted with the food the service and atmosphere, we both had salads which were very generous, fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive, would definitely recommend.

Our server was so absolutely friendly & seemed to really love her job. We got the scrambled eggs with salmon and the Bungaroosh breakfast with halloumi and everything was great!!

Was directed to this delightful cafe by a brave employee stood in the rain. Only had a Oat Milk latte so can not comment on food. But the cafe filled up and the atmosphere was cosy and service was friendly. Staff were friendly. So dodge the big boys and find this little cafe.

We had a delightful visit to Bungaroosh! Right from the moment we stepped into the cafe, Nina welcomed us warmly. We came in for breakfast, and although our kids, who can be quite picky, were initially disappointed to learn that fries were only available during lunch, Nina spoke with the kitchen staff and managed to get some for them, which made their day. The food was not only fresh but also deliciously prepared and presented. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're back in Worthing. A big thank you to the team for starting our day off on such a happy note!

Went in today for my birthday for brunch with my family the food was amazing as usual everyone was really happy and we of cause had there chips which are incredible. The staff are amazing so kind and friendly they even bought over a free cake with a candle in it 10/10 I always recommend everyone to go here!!!!!!!!!! Thank you xx

I went to Worthing yesterday and came across this cafe, I was soooo impressed with the food. Every single thing was delicious. The staff were all so lovely and friendly, especially Nina who was our waitress for the day. I will definitely be coming back again when I’m next in Worthing. That is deffo the spot to be!!!

Went for brunch with 3 friends and had a very enjoyable time. Made even better by the Bungaroosh vegetarian breakfast and lemon and ginger tea. Loved the fact that they served both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Plus service was friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all. Lovely way to spend catch up time with friends

The most perfect avocado on toast with fried eggs! This is an absolute hidden gem!! If you’re thinking of having brunch somewhere in Worthing / Brighton, just go to Bungaroosh and thank me later. Avocado on toast is something everyone does but rarely gets it right. Crisp toast, perfect avocado with lemon and salt, a homemade siracha and faultless fried eggs - not to mention how lovely the staff are. Always love supporting independent restaurants and cafes, but this is one you absolutely shouldn’t miss. A+++

Really lovely Cafe & Bistro! Saw it whilst walking through Worthing and was intrigued by the menu, especially the all day breakfast options! (can’t resist those). You’re immediately greeted by the welcoming, friendly staff, making sure you feel settled and drinks arrived quickly. Good was great, presentation was excellent and the bacon cooked to perfection. Although, you’re missing out if you don’t opt for the chips on the menu - not only are they homemade, they’re almost like mini chip roast potatoes, and they’re crunchy outside and soft inside and not oily at all! The cafe decor is homely, lots of hidden details that make you feel like you’re in a secret area no one else knows about that’s all to yourself! The service is quick, the staff are incredibly lovely and genuinely appear to love working here which adds to the appeal, and the prices are reasonable too for the amount of food you get! 10/10 would recommend! :))

What a little Gem of a place. Staff are welcoming and attentive. The food was incredible and really great to deal with my wife's allergies. Chips are possibly the best I've ever eaten. The Aubergine Foccacia was full of flavour and the portions were very generous. We'll definitely be back.

As always, a warm welcome for us and our well behaved furry friends. The salt beef bagel and salad was outstanding; it is every time. The side salad is good enough on its own. Great coffee and water for the table is never a problem....

A lovely little cafe with great food and very friendly staff. We came for Mother's Day breakfast when the cafe was very busy, but still the service and food were amazing. Entering the cafe feels warm and a lovely experience to be served by the smiley waitress and staff. The food was exceptional, I love the quality. This is my second visit and I’m already thinking about when I’ll come back for the best breakfast I’ve had.

Quality food well cooked, good service and in a nice ambient space. We enjoyed two full-English breakfasts which were individually prepared to order. A shout out to the staff who found us space on a busy day even 'tho we didn't book. And a shout out too to our waitress Nina. Highly recommended.
