Great place to eat lovely staff amazing food

The Wave Cafe is a lovely place to have lunch or a snack. The food is great, freshly cooked & excellent value for money. All of the staff are so welcoming & friendly. Always a treat to visit.

First time visitor today. Had coffee and sandwiches which were great. The sandwiches were really large and well filled. Looked to be a wonderful selection of cakes. The place is clean, light and airy and plenty of space. The staff were very welcoming and advised us to book by phone to ensure table as they get very full some days. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers! We will definitely be returning here.

Disgusted with today. My wife and I came here every Friday with our daughter after her baby group, we enjoyed lunch with family and friends here. However today we decided never to return. Our recently turned 1 year old daughter has unfortunately learnt a new sound which is screeching. We actively try to discourage this but at 1 years old this is hit and miss. A man sat on another table decided to take it upon himself to bellow at my daughter to "Shut Up". I confronted the man who I proceed to call vile and disgusting for shouting at a 1 year old baby. When the staff came over, their response to the situation was "we'll talk to them" Not a good enough solution to a situation that could be considered child abuse. This is meant to be a family friendly venue, but clearly this is not the case. As we were told by the staff, this cafe is inclusive so it welcomes everyone, but clearly babies aren't considered in this. You can expect a written letter of grievance to accompany this review, this review is so that others can be forewarned of potential abuse from customers, and no support from staff.

Met another mum here with four little ones between us and really appreciated the space, cleanliness, friendly staff and varied choice. Will definitely be back.

We love The Wave Café. Whether you're after a sandwich, Panini, jacket potato or a two course lunch special- this is the place to be. It's family friendly and has a range of choices on the children's menu. There's a range of different teas too and amazing cakes!

I’m a fairly regular user of the Wave - one of the very best places in Worthing to eat breakfast, lunch, or to pop in at any time for a cuppa and a bite! The food is wholesome but imaginative and very well presented, the staff and volunteers friendly and attentive, and the venue modern, clean and welcoming. As other parts of the building are used by West Sussex for their Family & Children’s Centre, it’s a fairly busy place at times, but this is not a problem. Likewise, the fact that it is run by the church should not deter anyone, whatever their beliefs or lack of, as there isn’t any ‘overly churchy’ feel about it. Apparently many of the staff are volunteers but they are very professional in their work. All in all - 5 stars all round ! Oh, and it scores 5 on the food hygiene rating from the Council.

This Cafe is part of the The Wave family centre and is very inclusive of additional needs and young children. The food is great value and good portions. I've eaten many times with friends and family and it's always been great.

Breakfast at lunchtime opposite wickes. Very reasonable breakfast, under £5. Good plateful and very tasty!

En conjunto con el centro de Olas hay un montón de actividades para niños y adultos por igual del tren mexicano dominó, un miércoles por la tarde/confección de pintura grupo a las sesiones de juegos para niños pequeños también todo bajo un mismo techo. Se dispone de estacionamiento en el aparcamiento de la parte trasera de la iglesia, los baños están limpias, bien cuidadas y incluyen aseos movilidad reducida con instalaciones para cambiar a los bebés. Mi experiencia es que me he sentido tan cómodo allí durante muchos años y seguiremos visitando por primera calidad, comida local a precios muy razonables.
