Tiny menu, very disappointing basically just espresso. Nice selection of cakes and staff are lovely, but the menu was poor at best. Decided on a hot chocolate which didn't taste great and was in a small mug. Not a memorable experience, would not recommend.

The perfect coffee stop to give your mid morning walk the kick it needs. Wonderful staff, tasty coffee and the perfect cinnamon bun (amongst other things!) to accompany it! It's also a bookshop, so you can have a peruse once you've finished your coffee. We'll be back tomorrow!

We popped into this cafe 3 times during our week stay in Whitstable. Instantly loved the simple yet cosy cafe. Tried the iced latte, drip coffee, flat white and cacoa & lavender shortcake. Coffee's were smooth and velvety. Lovely selection of cakes too. Service was excellent, very knowledgeable baristas. Look forward to coming back and highly recommend.

We called in to look at the books and have tea and coffee. The flat white coffee was wonderful. The texture, the flavour, the temperature, the presentation were all a delight. We sat down to have our drinks and decide which coffee beans to buy and which books to choose from their minimal but carefully chosen selection, some with an art theme, some for children of different ages, all beautifully presented and within sight of the table. Unfortunately it turned out that we weren’t supposed to be sitting at the table so, once we were spotted, we were very politely and inoffensively asked to leave. Our granddaughter missed out on her books, and me on my coffee beans, but I was very happy with my flat white.

Fantastic coffee from this independent coffee shop in Whitstable. Not open daily so check times and don’t miss it! On-site bean roaster, these guys know how to make a good cup of coffee. A great place to buy a well chosen book, too. The food also looked great, but we didn’t sample. When covid restriction ease, this will be a perfect place to enjoy indoors - but the benches outside were fine!

From the other side of the street I was drawn into Blueprint by an unmistakable smell of real coffee...like one smells in Italy. A little jewel of a spartan yet sumptuous bookshop. The double espresso and chocolate brownie were similarly contrasting...both minimalist and decadent!

We noticed this coffee shop whilst perusing the High Street in Whitstable and decided to go there just based on the stylish front of the shop! Unfortunately, I can only drink decaffeinated coffee and so I am always interested to try what independent shops have to offer in that department. I was not disappointed at Blueprint coffee; in fact their decaffeinated coffee is EXTREMELY excellent and the taste was outstanding - I didn’t feel deprived for having to have decaf over caffeinated coffee as I do in so many shops that cannot deliver good tasting decaffeinated coffee. My coffee was perfectly poured and not only tasted amazing but was also beautiful to look at. The ambience in the shop is perfect, minimal, stylish and atmospheric. Our visit to this coffee shop made the perfect end to a day in Whitstable.

As four Australians, we are very particular about our coffee! The team at Blueprint Coffee certainly know how to brew the perfect flat white! A great bean, beautifully roasted and then crafted into the smoothest, most delicious flat white I’ve had in a long time! After Waterlane changed hands, Canterbury’s coffee quality plummeted. I live nowhere near Whitstable but when I need a decent “third wave” coffee, I know that Blueprint is basically the only place left. I love chatting with the friendly staff, in particular the main man, who is hilarious. The kouign amann is something else, too. Big ups Blueprint and Orchard Land for making the only coffee I won’t pour away.

Had been into Blueprint a few times before and enjoyed sitting in the window, one of the staff was so RUDE to me. After reading the reviews, I had great expectations of this coffee shop. The coffee is good but overpriced, and the venue is very small. Considering that it's also known as a bookshop I was expecting a bit more on the book side, or even seating-wise, but I was left disappointed. Either way, it's close to the train station so easily the first place to stop for a coffee after getting off the train

Just towards the end of the high street this small place was quite cute and the Cappuccino was superb! Creamy and packed with flavour which left a lingering flavour of fruitiness on our palates. One of the best we have had for some time. The banana cake was yummy too! Quite arty and minimalist interior. If I want to be really picky (and this often happens in other cafes too) the cappuccino could had been hotter

I pop into Blueprint Coffee several times a week so what I really want to write, selfishly, is that the coffee's dreadful and the staff are miserable. However, that's only because I don't really want everyone to know it serves the best coffee I've had in the UK and because their only drawback is being housed in modestly sized premises. However, as others have already let the cat out of the bag, I'm forced to agree that the coffee's outstanding, the cakes a cut above average and the staff always helpful and friendly. Great bookish ambience too. Now I expect you'll all be going there. Sigh.

This is by far the best coffee house in Whitstable. They use top quality coffee beans and Bonsoy soya, not the cheap soya used by other more well known coffee houses. More to the point there's no extra charge. Its a small and intimate shop but once used you won't go any where else. The coffee arrives on a small tea tray together with a glass of water. Can't rave about it enough, we always go here and no where else now.

We stopped here for coffee and a cake after reading great reviews. Style over substance unfortunately. Very trendy decor and interesting books to peruse and purchase but few seats. Our server was efficient but so lacking in cheerfulness, or even a smile, as to feel rude. We felt we were interrupting some other more entertaining activity, breaking into her day to place an order. The coffee was beautifully presented but lukewarm and the banana bread was small but priced at £2.50! Won't bother to return.

I have just returned from the Lovely Jubbly Cafe. It has lived up to my best expectations. A traditional cafe in the best sense of the word. Lots of room, immaculate, friendly service - and most important of all: thoroughly good food at surprisingly inexpensive prices. Every review so far has given it five stars - and so have I - because the Lovely Jubbly is worth it!

We first visited Revival last year during a Whitstable and just had to pop in again for lunch during a return visit. If you grew up in the 60s, you'll love it - and you probably will even if you weren't. The food is great, so is the atmos, and some of the money you spend benefits local charities. What could be better. I was so impressed, I've just ordered a t-shirt from their online shop as they didn't have my size in store on the day.
