Janes Coffee Corner, Coffee and gift shop in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Staff very polite and enthusiastic we partook of a bacon sandwich each with my wife having sausage with hers. Both sandwiches were presented well and they tasted fantastic especially with the bread being so fresh.

Fruit scone was one of the best I've ever had. Cappuccino was also excellent and good costumer service too.

A nice cappuccino and slice of jam sponge on an unscheduled stop. Caught sight of the establishment from the main road at the last moment. Outdoor seating available but we chose to sit inside. Nice and airy. Service was fast and friendly, prices reasonable. Enjoyed what we had.

This is such a lovely cafe, very welcoming staff, the food was fresh and good coffee too, and very reasonable price, will definitely return thank you

We arrived at Janes coffee shop and we were greeted with a friendly welcome, the staff instantly brought out a water bowl for our puppy and the food came out quickly after that! Can’t fault the service or the food very nice place to grab a little something to eat after the beach.

The food was average and the service was shoddy. I wouldn’t recommend this cafe unfortunately. There is a wonderful florist shop next to this cafe however, one of the best florist i’ve seen in quite some time- highly recommend!

Great service with a smile ..food delicious wonderful selection of cakes and lunches . The gift shop us to die for ....you will not come away without buying something ....prices. Really good . Recommend a visit

My friend, whose birthday, is today,and I went to Jane's coffee corner for a light lunch. Very warmly welcomed. My friend had 1 of the specials and I had the quiche. Portions were generous and very tasty, to the point I couldn't finish.With the quiche came coleslaw, and a good salad. Cappuccino was good.Good menu variety as well as daily specials. Bill came to £8.80, which was very reasonable. Unfortunately, I didn't have room for any of the splendid cakes on offer. There will be another time for that! Carol Fakenham

Dropped in driving back to base from a visit to Houghton Hall. Nice selection of light lunches and drink and curios to purchase. Sensible Covid-19 measures.

The exterior caught our eye whilst driving, stopped off morning coffee.The cappuccino was frothy and hot as it shoud be, and the toasted teacakes were delicious.Lovely, friendly staff, premises clean and covid safe.

For my Dad's 60th birthday we wanted to set up a social distance beach picnic and we definitely made the right choice in ordering food from Jane's Cafe. Rachel was so helpful, coming up with suggestions and catering for both vegetarian and gluten free needs. We had delicious sandwiches, cheese scones, quiche, and amazing cake that we couldn't believe was gluten free! All the food went down really well with my family.Picking up the takeaway was easy, with clear Covid-19 safety measures in place that made us feel safe. The gluten free food was also clearly signposted and separated from the rest, which was wonderful for my coeliac sister. Most importantly my Dad loved it. Our beach picninc felt very special, thank you so much. My photo really does not do it justice!

Heared it mentioned on Radio Norfolk so decided to visit and was most impressed.Every where spotlessly clean and very friendly staff.Only ordered Latte and scones this time which were very nice but will be back as the lady mentioned they do Stew and Dumplings ,my favourite, in the winter so will return later in the year.

First time out from shielding and felt so comfortable with the distancing measures in place. Rachel and all the girls made it so easy to feel comfortable so will definitely be back. Thank you to you all for making my first time out so comfortable.

Our first trip out since restrictions were lifted and we had an excellent lunch here today.Very clear signage on entry and the staff are very welcoming. The food was excellent and my husband said it was the best ham, eggs and chips he'd tasted in a long time! A real gem by the village green.

Been loving the takeaways, food good,atmosphere friendly and welcoming.I cant wait for reopening for eating in on 4th July I feel completely safe there, Jane's is already set up for 2 metre social distancing, there are hand sanitisers for customer use and clear floor markings.The tables have been rearranged so that on 4th July 2 metre distance can be maintained, while eating in I will feel just as safe eating in as collecting take away.

So glad this little coffee shop will be open in early July. until then the take away service is fab. Coffee, sausage rolls, and cake whilst sitting on the Green watching the world go by was great.

We picked up our takeaway lunch as we fancied a change as always food was delicious and great portions/prices. Rachel and staff are always fantastic and according to my son she makes the best brownies ever! Nothing is ever too much to ask always go out of their way to make to feel welcome and provide excellent service! One of our top spots thank you

We stopped at Jane's Coffee Corner on-route to Fakenham. The waitress took our order, and our tea and cake were really delicious. Great atmosphere, and overall, a good experience.

A great place to stop and enjoy a good coffee/tea and the homemade cakes, scones, teacakes, sausage rolls etc. at reasonable prices. Also have small interesting items on sale. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Have visited before when in the area and will definately do so again.

Driving through to Cromer, we stop for lunch & I had the best hot beef sandwich with horseradish sauce ever, such great value £5. Lovely coffee, all round a little treasure of a coffee shop with friendly staff & doggies welcome

This was our 2nd time here on daytrips to the Norfolk coast...this time planned! Delicious cheese scones and sausage rolls...gluten free options for me and friendly service. Lovely setting on the green with carparkat its front. It makes a great toilet break place.

We've stopped here many times overs the years on our way from Peterborough to the coast. There is plenty of parking outsideJanes is a really nice place with a good choice of food and drinks. All the food we had (2 scones and a large slice of chocolate cake) was fresh and tasty. The coffee was excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the service is welcoming and friendly

Janes East RudhamNot obvious from main road but on the end of the green . More tables inside than shop frontage would suggest. . Stopped in for breakfast (9-30 -1100). Good cup of coffee and bacon bap at very reasonable price. However apart from piece of toast there doesn’t seem to be any other hot breakfast option. Possibly missed an opportunity here. Light lunches later, cakes scones etc available.

This is our third or fourth visit to Jane’s Cafe as a group and once again we received a very warm welcome. Homemade scones and a variety of homemade cakes awaited us.We mainly had scones jam and cream which were yummy. One of the ladies had a bowl of the homemade tomato soup which she said was very good and another had a bacon sandwich which was full of bacon and the bread wasn’t too tick. Coffee was fine and made a nice accompaniment to the food. Happy staff and good food make this cafe a must to visit.Oh and don’t forget can do a bit of shopping there as well.

We hadn't used this coffee shop for some time but tried it again now that we have moved back to Norfolk. The ambiance has greatly improved under the current management who we understand took over a couple of years ago. We only had coffee and a snack on this occasion but the menu looks good, including home-made cakes, and we will definitely be back for more. We would agree with an earlier review that the staff are friendly without being obtrusive. Good range of knick-knacks too

What a lovely find towards the end of a slow traffic filled journey. Food and drink was of a great standard and the staff were friendly but unobtrusive. We shall visit again. Thank you!

Popped in mid morning before heading to the Broads. Unfortunately they weren't able to make a soya latte (couldn't put soya in the machine?) so settled for a cafetière instead. Hubby had a pot of tea. £3.50 total. Nice but nothing special. Good selection of gifts at reasonable prices. Parking close by facing the green.

Another great visit to Janes, lovely homemade stew, followed by a delicious raspberry bakewell. A few items on the menu are not homemade, ie the gluten free is pre-wrapped, staff will always make it clear at point of ordering if something is not homemade, most things are though, also everyone here is very friendly and helpful, dogs are welcomed at the front end of the coffee shop and I belive there is a small menu for them. I cannot recommend Jane's coffee corner highly enough. I will certainly be back.

A long awaited return trip back up to Norfolk. We love Jane's coffee corner! Staff are friendly and the cakes are amazing. Rachel the lady who runs it was there on Saturday afternoon and recognised us as we walked through the door and immediately ask how our journey from Surrey was!! Now that's customer service for you. I had a coffee and my husband had a decaf coffee and a slice of lemon drizzle cake which he really enjoyed.

This coffe shop was excellent. Lovely log burner making it very cosy on a chilly day. Lovely little shop, very clean. Staff all very friendly and service, quick and polite. Lovely gifts on sale. Cakes were lovely and fresh. Will definitely visit again.

Whilst working for 2 days in East Rudham, in an unheated house, we were delighted to find this coffee shop in order to thaw out. We were greeted by a lovely warm welcome from Rachel and a lovely warm wood burner !

We found this cafe by chance just after it opened and were impressed by its atmosphere, the quality of the food and drinks and the warmth of welcome. We were in the are again recently and made a point of calling in. We were delighted to find the cafe thriving. There have been a few changes - all for the better. There is now an eclectic mix of gifts for sale but the quality of the food and drinks, the atmosphere and the warmth of welcome were just as good as when we first visited. Congratulations to all the team.

Found this place on trip advisor. Lovely warm welcome. Eclectic mix of gifts and novelty items dotted around for sale. Lovely atmosphere. Nice and spacious. Small well behaved dogs are allowed.

Roaming the lanes of Norfolk we came upon this darling place with the most delightful ladies and shared a protein filled ploughman’s platter. They also support local artists and craftsmen with wonderful gifts for purchase. Doggies even have an outside posted menu. A place to remember on our week of touring Norfolk

My friend and I had a delicious lunch here. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu is great home cooked food and delicious home baked cakes. Well worth a visit if in the area. They also sell some lovely little gifts.

Went yesterday, fancied a bacon sandwich but only do them mornings so had veg soup and a roll. The soup was really poor, very watery, lacked stock and seasoning... we added plenty of salt and pepper to make it palatable. Wished I'd complained now as it cost £13! A good price for great soup and two teas but definitely not this.

A beautiful little cafe with a friendly atmosphere and convenient in a place where there's not much in the surrounding area, kept a note of opening times so I can visit again if I'm in the area :) The decor is very lovely.

I've been coming here at least once a week for the last year, it's got great food, friendly helpful staff who often go above and beyond, the food and baking are fantastic, the chilli is my favourite, my sons favourite is the very high quality pork roll, the homemade bakewell is to die for. I can honestly say every visit is a pleasure.

Just spent a lovely time celebrating a friend’s birthday in the lovely surroundings of Jane’s Coffee Corner with a scrumptious afternoon tea that catered for everyone inclusively no matter their dietary needs so our gluten free and veggie guests didn’t feel left out at all! The table was set up beautifully and we were made so welcome by the lovely Jane and Rachel and their staff. This really is the perfect venue to meet up whatever the occasion for teas, coffees, freshly prepared food and wonderful cakes and genuinely happy to see you smiles and service!

Stopped here on the way to Holkham. Absolutely lovely coffee shop, welcomed us in with our young dog no problem, and gave him a bowl of wate. Lovely, helpful staff.

We cycled here along country roads and were impressed with the newly installed bike racks. Staff ( and other customers) were really welcoming and we had a lovely coffee with scones and freshly made cake. The daily specials looked tasty too and the cafe was surrounded with crafts and gifts that could be bought. Next door was a pop shop so check out their Facebook page to see what’s up next.

We had a family holiday at a cottage across the road and went to Jane's numerous times for breakfast, cake, snacks etc

We were on our way to Cromer and saw this place as we passed, so did an about turn and went in. A very nice establishment and we were made to feel welcome straightaway. We went for 3 coffees and they were very nice supplemented by a Danish a marbled cake and a large warm sausage roll. All very nice. There is also an array of local gifts for sale. Definitely a place we will visit again when in the area.

Such a brilliant experience at Janes Coffee Corner for afternoon tea. They went above and beyond for my coeliac requirements with gluten free sandwiches, cakes and homemade scones!! Highly recommend and am so very grateful. The first time I've been able to eat the same as others and feel included. Such a lovely treat for mums birthday.

Just called in at Jane’s Coffee Corner after a physio appt. and were immediately welcomed by the lovely staff and the charming atmosphere. My husband was delighted to discover he hadn’t missed the opportunity of one his favourite sausage rolls! He is quite the expert and will tell you these are the best he has had! I chose the cherry and almond cake and can highly recommend, great texture and taste, and we enjoyed a moment drinking coffee, chatting, relaxed and enjoying the surroundings. Had a browse of the beautiful crafts and gifts and as always found the perfect present and card for a friend.

So friendly! Lovely atmosphere good value. Will be back there next time we visit Norfolk. Would happily recommend!

We visited twice during the week when staying in East Rudham as the Beast From the East scuppered most of our plans - and what a gem it turned out to be! Super friendly staff who were particularly accommodating to our 11 month old, a cosy fire and The Best cake!! We have relatives in the village so will definitely be back!

Arrived a little late for lunch but we were still able to order jacket potatoes with choice of fillings. Couldn't resist a slice of the cake of the day - berry sponge cake. Was very nice.

We stumbled across Janes Coffee Corner on our way to Norfolk for a weekend away. We were with our 2 children (aged 10 and 3), my 10 year old son (who is very picky!) tried the ginger cake and then had a huge slice of it and has said it was the best cake he's ever had! We did try to stop by on our way back home but unfortunately it was a Monday and it was closed. They were brilliant with our children and there is also parking and a large grassy area outside so it was the ideal place to stop for a break. Will be back if we are ever in the area again :-)

Popped in with my youngest after a walk to try and get her to nap. It didn’t work so thought we would grab lunch and try again once she had eaten.

Popped in for lunch today, and actually, for a little independent cafe, tucked away, we decided to give it a go, oh my word! Food tasty , quick, hearty and hot, as was the coffee. !

Been to Janes several times and is always amazing. Fresh home made food and cakes, wide range of drinks and super friendly staff. Always a warm welcome from a friendly smiling face, great seating choices and a brilliant atmosphere. We have several uses for the cafe whether it be a working environment and meeting place or a lovely local place to bring the family. There’s plenty for the kids too.

This was the second time we called into Janes Coffee Corner, the first was on the way back from Sheringham in the Summer, this time it was a stop off for morning coffee on the way to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Although the place was very busy with a crowd of cycling “Father Christmas’s” service was quite quick and the coffee excellent. Really fancied a piece of one of their home made cake but unfortunately didn’t have time.

A pleasant and comfortable coffee and gift shop by the green. I really enjoyed my pork sandwich and cake and was very impressed by the service. It is by the main Lynn to Fakenham road and is a great place to stop while passing by. Coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea are all on offer and there is a selection of cards and gifts for sale.

Lovely atmosphere. Coffee could have been hotter but the cakes are excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Hubby & I happened on this delightful Tea Rooms whilst passing through the village on our way to North Norfolk. I am so pleased that we stopped. Lovely Venue-clean cheerful and lots of lovely gifts to peruse. Run by Mum Jane and her daughter, who served us, with their exceptional Cheese Scones and coffees. It is difficult to praise the scones enough-they go above and beyond any that I have previously made, ever eaten elsewhere, or ever bought. Light and so tasty, and very satisfying. As a former W. I. baker, I have a pretty good judgment on what is worth eating, and believe me that these scones alone are worth a visit. So good were the Scones, and the service and the environment, that we just had to visit again on our way home to Buckingham shire. But you can be sure that all future visits to Norfolk will ensure that we travel via East Rudham, and stop there.

Popped into Janes Coffee Corner whilst staying next door at the Crown Inn. They couldn't have been more welcoming. It was only 15 minutes from closing time, but she spent the time chatting to us and was genuinely interested in what we had to say.

Jane's just continues to get better and better, love the stew they've introduced for winter, also love the chilli and the pork sandwiches, delicious cakes for dessert too, the only problem is what to choose.

My wife and I popped in as we were both dying for a cuppa and are so glad we did. We loved the décor, loved the service, and I particularly loved the hot sausages rolls

Have passed this place several times when hurrying too and fro, but finally managed to stop and give it a try. For a small village mid week the venue was busy, excellent coffees and home made cakes and produce all freshly baked. Also has a gift shop attached. Is the perfect place to pause a while and let the world go rushing by.

Fabulous stew today. Served with cheese scone and a bread roll. Yummy. I highly recommend that if your passing on the way to the coast, call in, you won't regret it.

This Cafe was a well needed addition to the little village of Rudham, a must have stop for anyone out cycling, dog walking, horse riding, travelling or just for a nice lunch.

My family and I stopped off here on a sunny Wednesday morning, on our way to Sheringham and Cromer.

The service was friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable considering the nice location. The food was average as the sandwiches are standard white bread etc. It has plenty of free parking available and is in a nice location.

Been here several times always great food, great coffee, staff friendly and helpful, love the pork sandwiches and the chilli. A great selection of home made cakes, the chocolate cake is to die for. Wellorthopaedic a visit 👍

We have visited this coffee shop twice so far and highly recommend it as worth a visit, we will definitely be returning. The staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It is dog friendly and families with children are made to feel welcome with colouring to occupy little ones. There are plenty of nice areas to choose to sit, some outside in the beautiful Norfolk sunshine, or in the little sun lounge or even in the comfy sofa area while you take a look at the tempting crafts and gifts ( came away with some super presents).

We received a very warm welcome when we visited for coffee and cake last week with our 3 year old twins and 11 year old. The cakes were delicious - home made ginger cake and scones and chocolate cake all went down very well. Colouring appeared for the little ones and I felt I could sit and enjoy my coffee and eye up some of the tempting gift items for sale. Lunch menu looked great and we will definitely return to give it a go when we are next in the village.

First visit to Jane's coffee corner. One word would describe it all.... EXCELLENT. Delicious coffee and scones, served by friendly staff. Easy, free parking. Dog friendly. Inside decor is very simplistic, making it very relaxing. Hope to go back again quite soon.

This has been a regular stop off for us for the last 3 years on a way between Leicester and Cromer. In discussion with the owner last year is looked likely at she would sell up. Our visit this year proved this to be the case.

Called in on Saturday with some freinds along with four small children in tow, all very hungry!
