The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other cuisines food

While staying in the Hotel, we had a pint in the Ptarmigan and it was fine - as was the service. From an atmosphere perspective it felt more like a pub than the the bar in the Buchanan, but less so than the Drymen Inn or the Clachan, and I guess it’s in that midstream area between pub and hotel bar. We would be happy to use it again - depending on what sort of atmosphere we were looking for.

First time visiting today. A very warm welcome. Delicious gluten free cakes - they were stunning🤩! Very good coffee👍 would recommend !

This place is whenever people wish for high quality home made food and a dose of tender loving care service directed at tje customer(s). Indeed, I sometimes recall my French catering professional training long ago, as well as 15 years in the Hospitality/Private Service in the USA and UK: I do know what is good or not within those trades. The restaurant is clean, tidy and very friendly. The atmosphere oozes of holistic soothing vibes. The Pie of the Day , we did think, was exquisite (my wife was previously a Chef de Partie). .Well worth the price. They also have a £5 special for tea or coffee and a piece of cake in the afternoons. We had some Earl Grey teas and the cakes (Carrot Cake and Coffee Cake) were out of this world. Merci for such a golden memory and the glowing smiles from the Manageress, and Waitresses. We are so coming back as a regular treat!

Vinimos a tomar algo antes de nuestra reserva de comida en otro lugar. mientras que el distanciamiento social estaba en su lugar y grupos de seis, es obvio que no todos son de la misma familia cuando todos tienen la misma edad, había dos o tres mesas así, no estoy seguro si está permitido, pero se estaban moviendo entre tablas que no es una buena práctica

We wanted coffee and a cake on Sunday. Tiptree is pleasantly decorated and spacious, and the service was good. There was a decent selection of cakes (and also light meals) and we were happy. Nothing to dislike.

My friends and I have lunch at the Millers Daughter most Thursdays .The food is lovely and such good value for money. We have just been for Christmas dinner which was great. The service is always fantastic . We have never been disappointed !

Food was excellent, I had the chill jacket potato which actually tasted like chill, highly recommended, my go to lunch cafe in future Jon the manager was very helpful as well as the server’s

Soy trabajadora de apoyo y llevé a una de las personas que apoyo, que tiene dificultades de aprendizaje, aquí para almorzar. Todo salió bien, el bien era agradable, el ambiente era bueno, el valor era justo. Saltando a Nochebuena, unos dos meses después y recibí una carta de una agencia de cobro de deudas por una multa de estacionamiento pendiente de 170 libras esterlinas , me sorprendió descubrir que esta multa se produjo en el Taffs Well Inn. Nunca he ido a un pub donde me han cobrado por usar su estacionamiento, ciertamente no recuerdo haber visto ninguna señal, no es que hubiera estado buscando activamente. Siento que debo publicar esto como una advertencia a otros. Definitivamente le daré a este lugar un amplio lugar en el futuro. Creo que es impactante que se permita que esto suceda en primer lugar.

Absolutely abysmal experience from start to finish. Visited here on bank holiday and asked for a takeaway coffee and the waiter could not have been ruder!! Disgusting service. Coffee was even worse. The guy looked like he could not be bothered to serve anyone and looked quite angry tbh. Would not recommend and would definitely not re visit. What a waste of money and time!

It took us several attempts to find this place open which was disappointing as we were staying close by in August. .We eventually managed to have a drink before catching our train home .What a pity it is not open at weekends , very disappointing and we were did not have time for a pizza this time.

Sábado 8 de marzo, 1 pm. Recepción escarchada cuando entramos. Tardaron veinte minutos en hacer nuestras bebidas - sirvieron a otros cuatro clientes que habían llegado después de nosotros. Cuando los empujamos suavemente porque asumimos que se habían olvidado de nosotros, se quebraron, "Sí, los traeremos - ha sido muy ocupado. " Pero los habíamos visto priorizando a otros clientes sobre nosotros. Luego trajeron nuestros cafés y los golpearon frente a nosotros sin una palabra, sin disculpas por la espera ni nada.

We stayed nearby and walked up the lane to the pub hoping for an evening meal, but it was all closed up and the garden was overgrown. Possibly it’s fallen victim to the lockdown? (The last review was February 2020.) It didn’t seem as if anyone was at home. A great shame for such an ancient establishment if it has gone to the wall. 😢

Where to start. Absolutely lovely old riverside pub. Selena and Connor were fantastic and made us all feel so welcome. Great beer and wine and the food was also really good. Couldn’t recommend more.

Such a shame. Coffee is great. Am a big cafe Nero fan but not of this branch. Have tried several times now with no change will move to an independent when I visit MH in future...really sad. No customer eye contact. No smiles. No hellos. One female staff member has a job to speak when I visit let alone serve you..often just chooses to do other things whether there is a queue or not. I suspect she must hate her job? I don't usually give bad reviews much nicer to give positive feedback. But I give up on this one. Cafe Nero rugby Elliott's field fabulous team with a smile

Travelled to Stratford Upon Avon to meet friends. Lovely staff and service. Had a lovely girl who seemed to be the manager come over and check everything was satisfactory etc. Will definately be recommending and overall 10/10 for a lovely coffee with my friends in lovely settings.
