Absolutely abysmal experience from start to finish. Visited here on bank holiday and asked for a takeaway coffee and the waiter could not have been ruder!! Disgusting service. Coffee was even worse. The guy looked like he could not be bothered to serve anyone and looked quite angry tbh. Would not recommend and would definitely not re visit. What a waste of money and time!

Nice location but the venue was FILTHY Beers had run out. No clean glasses. Young staff struggling to cope AWFUL

Had a absolute fantastic time here .If you like something a bit Different this is a must vist. Great variety of local beers a real treat to just chill out in this fab place. Will definitely be be back many thanks.

Went in for lunch/drinks and 45 mins later we were still waiting - only to learn our order had been 'lost'.

Pleasant environment, great food that would appeal to a wide audience. Excited to see a low carb menu.

We arrived slightly too late for breakfast, but the friendly staff allowed us to order from the breakfast menus anyway. Locally sourced bacon/sausages and a fantastic mug of coffee. Toilet is accessed down a side alley needing a key from the bar.

I was intrigued by the name and was not disappointed by the menu choice. I chose smashed avo on toasted sourdough and an Americano with milk. Service was good starting with the Americano which was more like a large espresso very strong and not so nice in a small cup and became cold once cold milk was added. The toastef sourdough was anemic and stodgy with a thin layer of avocado with too many chilli flakes and a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. Finally the poached egg was not cooked properly and the whole thing was cold. Total cost just a little over £11.00.

The best place to enjoy a late afternoon drink in the town square in the sunshine. a good selection of local drinks with some imaginative cocktails.

Atrocious Service. We called in here whilst on holiday in the area. Food was average to say the least and the service Dismal. The toilet facilities also leave a lot to be desired, dark, dingey and not very clean. Won't ever be back or recommend.

They had a nice range of items on menu and could cope with an IBS diet. They were busy, and didn’t seem to be too many choices in the town.

Just stopped for drinks here, a lovely spot in the market square. Lots of good beers on offer, we didn;t esat but the food we saw coming out looked very nice.

Coffe was fine, service was fine, the waiter was pleasant and engaging. I was very disappointed with my rarebit though. It was literally cheese on toast with some almost raw peppers sprinkled on and a spicy sauce drisdled over the top. Not even a little garnish to make the dish a little bit more presentable. I note quite a few photos show a little salad on the side of what look like sandwiches and perhaps rarebit. I expected a juicy covering of cheese with the ingredients to make a rarebit underneath. The cheese was rubbery and tasteless. I should have said something there and then but I didn't, it wasn't the waiters fault. I actually noticed the chef leaving while we were there so it was unlikely to be passed on to the person who really needed to be told. Perhaps management could look at this dish as I've noticed a couple of other negative comments about the rarebit. £7.95 for cheese on toast☹️

Great brunch menu. Something for everyone in the family. Lots of chillies on some dishes if you like it hot. Great coffee. Friendly service. Good value. Can't wait to go in the evening and try the tapas menu.

Pretty nice setting and staff friendly enough but the chef needs to learn how to make a rarebit! It was terrible! The macaroni cheese was tasteless too. Sorry can’t leave a good review.

Incredibly rude waiter who, despite there being availability for the next half an hour, would not allow us to sit inside. I said we would move if the reserved tables came in, however he insisted on being incredibly rude and stating there was no availability....

Went to order at the bar and told it was table service only. Went to sit outside and waited a good 10-15 minutes, still no service. Got up again to order drinks at the bar to be told the same again by a patronising member...

Sat outside in the sun to enjoy their lunch menu. Service was good and the staff were very pleasant. The two sourdough dishes were both good value and tasty. Looking forward to visiting in the evening sometime.

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying half the night! amazing service by Simon. credit to the company. Only problem is due to being small you got to get booked in. But don't let that put you off

Just love this place tapas is amazing and good choice of drinks. Good service too. Only downside was card only payment, notice on the door should be bigger. A night out in Alnwick is very confusing at times, some places only accept cash and others...

We were welcomed in from the pouring rain with our dog. The decor was fantastic, the staff super friendly, really good coffee and hot chocolate, menu was exciting and food was delicious. Highly recommend

We visited for the tapas offer, four dishes and two drinks for £22. Everything was freshly made and really tasty, couldn’t fault anything. We will definitely be back and highly recommend a visit.

Lovely bar, much smaller than envisioned but staff were lovely & drinks were excellent, no toilets on site, they’re outside & around the corner & not fantastic but serve a purpose, didn’t dine as we had a reservation elsewhere but would readily return 👍
