The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other cuisines food

Terrible service; food took an hour to arrive; quiet Wednesday evening; other tables also complaining; myself and my friend were not informed of a prospective delay in food; basic comms! Would NOT recommend.. avoid .. plenty of other good alternatives in Guildhall.

Went for lunch. Usually good but server was moody and did not like that my partner had asked for quiche to be cold. She then was very huffy when I asked for it to be hot. Kept saying “Now HE wants it hot”. Said it enough huffy times that you would have thought it would com HOT. Unfortunately quiche and soup were both cold.

Bad service. Poor food. Gave the place a second chance and its was no better. Soup served cold no butter or spoon. Very slow service. No atmosphere.

Nice place for a meetup for coffee with friends! Great amount of seating in the place- space downstairs too. Great selection of hot/cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches. Nice and cosy atmosphere, some chatter about the place and some students on their laptops studying, so definitely a versatile space for what you need it for.

This place is superb 👌 I went with a friend. We found The Heron by accident and I must say we would definitely go back and would highly recommend to family and friends. The staff were brilliant warm and friendly. We had a toastie and it was so well presented and plenty of it. Oh and we had to have cake which was amazing Give it a try you won't regret it!! 😉

They make wonderful cakes at this friendly, cosy cafe. Always a freshly baked selection of mouthwatering choice, I am never disappointed.

I am shocked to see the floor in my favourite Pret store covered in brown stained water from a clear and obvious leak from building above. The grounds of health and safety come into play here clearly and I’m not even sure what that substance is but I can guarantee I shall not be returning until it’s fixed. I’m just sad to see the staff who by the way are so friendly taken advantage of like this. This is sad to see and should be taken care of immediately!

We yet again were not disappointed, with the food, service and ambience of the Geese and Fountain,, great food at a great price.

Fantastic restaurant. My family and I are regular customers and we have no complaint. Food is hot and generous portions the staff are kind and attentive. Can get busy at lunch worth booking.

The Cafe is not what it was. No menu, no fresh cooked food, microwave stuff and pies. Cornish Pasty £5 +. No chef anymore. No discount for Volunteers on any food available. Ruined our day out.

Das essen ist Lecker, nur schade wenn ich mit karte bezahlen will,muss 1 e mehr zahlen .und wenn der chef da ist, ist nicht so ..warum?

Sorry this review is late but can I say we stopped off to watch the play off final( national league England) and we were made to feel so welcome by the lad behind the bar whose name I'm embarrassed to say I cant remember. I must say the locals on the day were fabulous and were fellow Poolies by the end! As far as the place itself it's a proper pub,clean ,good beer good craic and very very freindly atmosphere if ever we go back over that way it will definitely be a place to visit

Hot food, freshly-cooked, quick service, quality and quantity very good. Very reasonably -priced. What more could you ask for! Highly recommended!

Visitamos cote por mi cumpleaños. Nos sentamos afuera, lo cual estuvo bien, ya que se proporcionaron mantas. Sin embargo, el servicio fue increíblemente lento. Esperamos 15 minutos antes de que nos preguntaran qué queríamos pedir, una vez que indicamos nuestras bebidas y entrantes, la camarera salió corriendo a buscar otro menú para ayudarnos a decidir (ya habíamos decidido y estábamos a mitad de decirle nuestro pedido). Luego nos dejó por otros 20 minutos con el nuevo menú antes de regresar para que pudiéramos pedir nuestros platos principales, momento en el cual nuestro entrante ya había llegado y ¡los habíamos terminado! Hubo 45 minutos entre nuestro entrante y el plato principal. La camarera estaba muy nerviosa y confundida, tuvimos que deletrear la comida que queríamos ya que no conocía el menú. La comida que recibimos fue deliciosa pero el servicio cuestionable.
