Visitamos cote por mi cumpleaños. Nos sentamos afuera, lo cual estuvo bien, ya que se proporcionaron mantas. Sin embargo, el servicio fue increíblemente lento. Esperamos 15 minutos antes de que nos preguntaran qué queríamos pedir, una vez que indicamos nuestras bebidas y entrantes, la camarera salió corriendo a buscar otro menú para ayudarnos a decidir (ya habíamos decidido y estábamos a mitad de decirle nuestro pedido). Luego nos dejó por otros 20 minutos con el nuevo menú antes de regresar para que pudiéramos pedir nuestros platos principales, momento en el cual nuestro entrante ya había llegado y ¡los habíamos terminado! Hubo 45 minutos entre nuestro entrante y el plato principal. La camarera estaba muy nerviosa y confundida, tuvimos que deletrear la comida que queríamos ya que no conocía el menú. La comida que recibimos fue deliciosa pero el servicio cuestionable.

Mi hija y yo fuimos a Cote para un almuerzo ligero: fue el cumpleaños de mi hija que el camarero recogió. Tomamos una copa de champán y luego el almuerzo de dos platos seguido de un budín para mi hija que tres de los camareros trajeron con una vela y le cantaron feliz cumpleaños. El servicio fue ejemplar, la comida deliciosa y en general muy buena relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente regresaré a este encantador restaurante.

Delicious food, wine and friendly service - the manager and Jenny our waitress were outstanding. Never disappoints and excellent value.

Was here for a friend's birthday celebrations just before Xmas. Realise it was probably the busiest time of year so there were a lot of office parties happening but we had reserved a table. The staff were lovely but absolutely rushed off their feet & it was quite hard to get their attention. We all chose from the set menu, I had calamari to start with which was covered in crisp breadcrumb & served with a creamy tartar sauce followed by chicken & chips & a few rocket leaves, both delicious & the chicken was served with a yummy garlic butter. We were all given a complimentary birthday prosecco for my friend (she's a regular customer) to finish. A bit pricey for my purse but a lovely meal.

It's a chain, it tries to be French and nearly does it. The feel is open and it has a buzz but just didn't click. We had sharing platters to start which I though were more Italian than French, for some reason we all had steak, but charging for sauces and no bread on the table - no french restaurant would survive without this basic item in full flow.Wheelchair users have space, an easy entrance (a bit of a slope) and WC that works

Very pleasant service , pleasant restaurant , good food . We chose different dishes from the menu , starters and mains but no deserts as the dishes sizes were generous . I chose the saucisson sec ( eight slices )served with cornichons ; just right followed by the Breton Stew ( mussels , prawns , calimari , sea bass and more ) which was very good .My first visit and I would return .

Tasty food, with a french touch and fast service. Recommended for those traveling in London looking for good food. Don’t forget Onion soup and salmon

Cote Battersea está en una calle principal muy transitada, pero por dentro es tranquila y organizada en un establecimiento bien administrado. Menú estándar de Cote con algunas especialidades regionales francesas sabrosas adicionales, para Navidad y almuerzo del domingo. Servicio eficiente y amigable. Bien presentado sabrosos platos. Buen ambiente. No hay presión para ir; Nos quedamos más de 4 horas (y más vino) sin ser molestados, a pesar de ser un día ajetreado. Otro excelente ejemplo de una cadena de calidad confiable.

Booked for 4 to use November offer of sparkling wine Cremant) - knew we had to eat from the Christmas menu but hadn’t realised we had to have 3 courses. Manager unbending - said we had to order 3 Christmas menus in order to have the offer. I think the previous manager was far more accommodating and would have offered us a cheaper bottle of wine - he had been there a long time and was more au fait with loyalty. We ordered 4 prestige menus and paid for our wine!

This Restaurant is very special to my family. As always they never failed to deliver. The reservation is under my Wife, Mrs Querobin Suaiso. Services and their food are simply the best! This place is highly recommended, for any occasions. Special thanks to our waiter (It’s her second day at the Restaurant), I think it’s Catharina, and the lady Manager who’s always checking on us if everything’s okay. Kudos to you guys..... Thank you to you all.

My fiancee and I went to celebrate out engagement with some friends. The team were very welcoming and went above and beyond to welcome us. The food was exceptional, service was attentive and overall great value for money.

Great place with delicius foos and excellent customer servises. I would like to said big thank you to Ciro, Claudia and Dominika for your special care. I will come back and definitely recommend to my frends and family.

My mom went there for a lovely dinner. I ordered the duck and my mom had the chicken. The dish was delicious. The duck cooked to perfection with a sweet and citric plum sauce with fresh cherries. Our waiter was very wonderful, friendly and helpful.

C te es una muy buena relación calidad-precio con una amplia selección de sabrosos platos a precios razonables. Soy francés y siempre tiene algo que me recuerda a mi hogar. El servicio en Battersea Rise One es muy bueno y el gerente cuida muy bien al cliente, no hay variación en el menú o solicitud adicional es un problema y se desviven para asegurarse de que tenga un momento agradable. Fui hoy con toda mi familia. Reservamos una mesa en un restaurante casi vacío con varios días de anticipación. Tuvimos una comida de calidad promedio con un servicio pobre. La orden se tomó mal y la comida llegó en momentos separados y no todos juntos. Se cometieron múltiples errores con las órdenes. Pedimos la factura y esperamos 15-20 minutos sin factura y luego el gerente fue grosero y desagradable. El gerente nos dijo que dejáramos la mesa, aunque pensamos que el restaurante estaba casi vacío, porque teníamos la mesa durante el tiempo suficiente, sin ofrecer una mesa más pequeña porque la mesa era necesaria. Es terrible que un gerente pueda venir a la mesa y decir que necesitábamos dejar la mesa sin ofrecer otra mesa o una alternativa. Gastamos más de 400 y no tengo ningún problema para pagar el cargo por servicio, pero cuando se solicitó la eliminación del cargo por servicio, hizo más comentarios a un miembro del personal. Breakfast is an absolute winner at Cote! Food is delicious and the Breakfast Formule deal is a bargain at £10.50. Will definitely be going back!

The food here is consistently good and the waiting staff are lovely and friendly. The young man working there, who I assume was the manager, could not have been more helpful and genuinely interested in giving us a wonderful experience in the restaurant, so welcoming and such a nice start to our lunch. The service is good and the food never lets you down. Well done to the kitchen staff behind the scenes. I had french onion soup and seafood linguine, both tasty. The steaks are good too. I have been to this restaurant several times before and have been very happy on all occasions. Can recommend.

It's been our fourth visit so far and we enjoyed every bit of it. As usually, the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable and we like the fact that the staff are friendly and attentive. I think they start to recognise us because on our last visit we were offered drinks that we always order. Which was very nice. My boyfriend always goes for a steak and says that you have the best steaks in the area. My personal favourite is creme carmel but on Monday I was suggested to try the crepe which we both truly enjoyed. We still have to try your brunch, probably during Easter weekend, and were advised to make a booking as the place gets very busy during this time.

We had a great night celebrating my Aunty's 80th birthday - there was a real range of ages from 6 to 80 but we were all catered for and really enjoyed ourselves. The service was second to none - the little ones were made to feel grown up and my Aunt felt very special, they even gave her a complimentary glass of champagne when they brought out her birthday cake, which made her evening. Thank you for all your help in making it a night to remember.

We went here as a family group of 8 for lunch. We took our time to order and there was no problem with that and the table was ready for us on our arrival. Everyone was very happy with the food they had ordered and all in all it was a delightful afternoon. We were not rushed and the service was very good.

Good food, good wine, decent prices. A nice outside area to watch the world go by. I would recommend the prix fixe menus especially for lunch

We came to Cote's for our staff Christmas dinner. Admittedly, Cote's are not a place that I would usually visit (after an appalling service experience at Wimbledon Village a few years back) but I was happy to go along with our small team.

The staff is always ever so helpful and attentive. The food consistant and tasty. The wine list is well balanced too. A winning formula really.

The food was good but can only agree about the poor service. And finally, the bill had an additional glass of wine added to it that we had not had. I assume they thought we wouldn't notice. The waitress corrected the bill but offered no apology.

I wish I had read the reviews before I made the bad decision to enter this establishment. We were seated and sat for 20 minutes without service, despite the wait staff acknowledging we hadn’t been served a couple of times. We left without even being served. Perhaps the management should read their reviews. Don’t bother with this place!

Food really deklicious but service not great. Staff too busy chatting and looking at their mobile phones and less than attentive.

Really pathetic. Appreciate it's looking busy, but get your waiting times right! Walked in the staff member said 10 minutes. She walks away and comes back to say it'll take 40 minutes.

I entered the restaurant with my partner and her brother. They told us to sit wherever but were very pleasant within the first 5 seconds. After this point 10 minutes had passed and all the staff members completely ignored our presence or even asked questions. I got up to ask one of the staff members about us being served and he just nodded his head. Another 5 minutes passed and two customers that had just taken a seat behind us were served immediately and still no communication. We left the restaurant and complained. The manager/front of house attempted to pass blame and was not very apologetic at all. I've never seen these new staff members and was completely appalled by the level of incompetence.

Arrived and were told to take a seat wherever we liked, sat for 10 minutes and had to ask to be served. Sat for another ten minutes and watched a family who had come in after us be served before us, kept trying to get the attention of the waitress who kept avoiding eye contact. We decided to leave which no one even noticed, so I spoke to who I thought was the manager to let her know we were leaving and why, who just answered back with 'I was told to serve this table first', no apology. I usually have a really good experience here but this was so bad I just had to share!! Really rude staff and completely unbothered or phased by losing business.

It has some pretty good reviews, but on this occasion Cote left us cold. Too few staff, an assistant chef who kept wandering out of the kitchen, but wouldn't give us a spoon when we asked for one. (He was kitchen staff, he said.) Nice waitresses, but difficult to get served and orders were delivered wrongly. Not exactly cheap either! Why do I come out and pay such a sum for a so-so meal in a haphazard atmosphere like this? Beats me.

My husband and myself had dinner at cote brasserie. Excellent food and wine. Food service was excellent. Meals were delicious. Entree mussels were yummy and so was duck pate.

Friend and I thought this looked welcoming for Sunday lunch but how wrong we were! Oh sorry we have technical problems and a big party coming! Really? In that case why wasn't there a notice on the door? There seemed to be a few empty tables and believe me the two of us did not look like tramps! Anyway we returned to check a couple of hours later and were met with the same response from another waitress! I wonder if Chef had a hangover and was in his bed or the staff just didn't like the look us for whatever reason! AVOID!

We wandered in off the street completely unfamiliar with the restaurants in the area, very hungry and without a booking.

Headed to Cote for my birthday lunch. We were seated outside which was fine as blankets are provided for those windy afternoons. However the service was unbelievably slow. After waiting 15 minutes we were finally asked what we wanted to order, after only managing to order drinks and a starter the waitress ran off to get another menu for us to look at which we didn’t need as we’d aleead decided. She then left us with the new menu for 20 minutes, in which time our starter arrived ... we hadn’t even ordered our mains. About 15 minutes after finishing our starter she came back to get our main order. There was 45minutes between our starter and main. Not the way we’d intended at all. The waitress also appeared very confused, flustered and unsure as we had to spell the food we wanted to her. The food on the other hand was fantastic. Just a real shame and dampener on birthday celebrations.

Cotes is always a winner such great value and friendly service .. there is nothing not to like Calamari starter and steak frites so reliable and staff always accommodating

También no nos apuraron en todo a pesar de que era viernes temprano en la noche. Los precios son razonables. Sin duda volveré y probar más de su menú.

Este es uno de los muchos cote brasseries en Londres. Mesa de cuatro tenía variaciones del menús. El servicio era bueno no es agobiante o apresurada la comida era deliciosa y todos llegamos al mismo tiempo. Dulces o budines un poco conveniente y predecible en selección, pero todo bien.

Los tres de nosotros tuvimos una excelente cena de 3 platos y el servicio también no nos molestó, y dada la opción muchas veces a la orden ya que teníamos que coger después de un largo tiempo de no ver la otra. El menú nos adecuado y estaba muy bien presentado también los otros dos son clientes habituales y el gerente llamó fuera de los postres, como no los había visto por un tiempo, y este se convertirá en nuestro lugar de reunión y un enorme agradecimiento a todo el personal. Una de las experiencias más agradables de 3 horas que estuvimos allí. . .

Nice bottle of sparkling wine, my friends enjoyed their food, but I thought the french onion soup was a tad bland and my bœuf bourguignon was a bit too dry and the mashed potatoes were heavy and starchy, but the dessert was delicious (vanilla ice cream with hot dark chocolate sauce). Friendly and efficient staff.

Great place with great priced food. Nice wine list and attentive amazing service. If you get there before 7 you can part take in the very generous set menu. I have been numerous times and it doesn't disappoint. Enjoy!

As a veggie/vegan I have found Cote to be very limited, almost non-existent in what I could eat. This is now improving and they now have a veggie menu in most branches. In this particular branch, I have always found the staff really helpful and happy to cater for me, omitting ingredients or adapting slightly to ensure that I have something to eat. There is a good atmosphere here, the staff are always lovely and the food very tasty.

Tuve un problema con la camarera no tomar nuestra orden por adecuadamente para las entradas llegaron antes nuestros aperitivos de lobos y pan de ajo y luego nuestros lados adicionales salieron después de nuestro plato principal había terminado y llevaban. We chose this restaurant for it's convenient location for Clapham Junction Station as the three of us were travelling from various locations. We had a 7pm table booked and they were relatively quiet at that point but soon filled up. Not surprising for a Saturday night. Cote is a reliable chain with a varied menu of French bistro style classics acceptable to all. We ordered the smoked salmon, prawns gratinee and crab mayonnaise to start and each was generous and very tasty. For mains we had fillet steak and the pan roasted cod from the specials menu. The steaks come with frites and the cod with sautéed green veg/lettuce in a French style. All cooked really nicely, the steaks entirely as requested, and very tasty. We were all too full for the tempting desserts. The wine list is wide and sectioned into styles for ease and reasonably priced. Unlimited chilled water is provided as a matter of course and served in an earthenware bottle, which is much appreciated. Service is nicely paced and friendly we had need to flag attention for a replacement dropped knife etc all dealt with very swiftly. Time whizzed by and we rushed off for our trains at about 9.30 having had a lovely catch up. What's not to love.

I am a fan of Cote but had not been to this one before. This was a birthday lunch and, being a Sunday, was quite busy. We were warned that the main course may take a while and we had no problem with this. Tables had thinned by the time we ordered dessert so we were surprised that these took just as long to arrive. Our request for the bill, albeit to a different waitress, took way too long. Having said that the staff members were all pleasant when they did arrive and the food was good. Perhaps they were just short staffed.

I hadn't heard anything about Cote Brasserie, until I went for dinner with my family. My son, was celebrating his 23rd Birthday and was adamant about us visiting this place - we were not disappointed. The food was incredible and the staff exceptionally knowledgable and friendly.

I am a fan of the Cote chain of restaurants & have eaten at this particular one on several previous occasions. Busy Monday night - tables are a little close to each other for comfort & food on this occasion was a bit hit & miss. Delicious heritage tomato starter. All 4 of us ordered Tuna Nicoise but my piece of tuna was about half the size of my friends! I did complain and was rewarded with a 2nd piece which was better but was fobbed off with a strange excuse. (something to do with packaging!)

What a refreshing change to eat at a restaurant where the plates are not overwhelmingly full. Cote was perfection. A beautifully cooked Bream accompanied by a side of spinach. What more to say. I would love to go back if I get the opportunity.

Cotes is always good but what changed this from a reliable average lunch was our divine waitress .. Floriene .. How she elevated this lovely lunch into a an experience ..she ended her shift before I could thank her properly but I hope she knows she is special and that her manager passes this on .. Floriane.. Having seen the queue outside The Breakfast Club further up the hill we walked on and found Cote Brasserie! Lovely outside sitting and reasonable prices....we decided to try it out! 3 of us had the 'formule' of any cooked breakfast + juice +hot drink! The food was excellent and Domenika could not have done any more to make sure we had everything we needed. Great find!

Monday maybe not the best day to go out for lunch. Having had a really good lunch at our last visit, this time the service was equally charming and efficient but the langoustine tails tasted of nothing and could have been anything and the piquant chicken was the driest bit of chicken you have ever seen. We'll give it one more try but really very disappointing.

Came here last night for my friend's birthday. We didn't have a reservation but it wasn't too busy (surprisingly, for 8pm on a Saturday night). The fougasse garlic bread was warm and fluffy. Three of us had the fish parmentier and creamed spinach - I've been to Cote many times over the years and have only strayed once or twice from the fish parmentier - it's my favourite. Last night didn't disappoint! My only criticisms would be that I wasn't a huge fan of the creamed spinach - it seemed to have a taste of aniseed about it which I wasn't keen on (I prefer a nutmeg flavour!) and I wasn't drinking alcohol so kept having to ask for refills of the water jugs... which more often than not were forgotten. Overall, a pleasant evening with good service.

Deliciuos food, fast service, amazing staff - especially waiters Otto and Davide - nice and professional. Definetely I'll come back.

Their anti-dog policy is preventing us joining our friends for lunch today.We have a booking of 14 old friends for a re-union but Cote's policy means they are unable to meet our specific needs so we cannot attend, with great disappointment all round. Do not book Cote and expect them to accomodate the needs of their guests - you have to abide by their policy or they will not allow you in.

Have been to several Cote restaurants but this has to be the best. It is spacious and the acoustics are good so not noisy like some and whilst the food is good, as it is in all Cote restaurants, what makes this branch outstanding is the service. Truly exceptional and can't wait to return.

Have now eaten here several times since returning to Battersea. Have always loved Cote restaurants, and the Battersea one lives up to all expectations -- food, drinks, service. Very impressive!

A Friday lunch with a friend. Wanted somewhere local. Hadn't tried a Cote brasserie before. You can't argue with a 2 course menu at £10.95. I had mussels to start and the hachis parmentier for main. Well cooked and had no complaints over portion size which i thought perfect for lunch at such a keen price. My only problem was the service was so slow. We waited about 30 minutes before any food appeared. They were very apologetic and our waitress could not have been nicer but I think they need to work on the speed of getting food to the table which suggests a problem in the kitchen. Though having said that at least you know it's all freshly cooked.

Place was quiet @9:00 , pleasant service, breakfast was ok, But the placed worked as it was local and good for an interview. Would i rush back , i wouldn't go out my way to go there.A little expensive for what you get.

As always a really good choice when not quite sure what type of food the people you are eating with are expecting. The menu is varied with something for everyone.The wine list is also very good.Nice atmosphere and although it was Sat night we did not feel in the least hurried by the very attentive staff.

Warmly greeted to have a seat although we were early for lunch. Well, my daughter and I got ourselves organised and tried to thaw out from the cold outside! So the warmth and the seat was a bonus.The restaurant looked almost empty with lots of seats. But soon it got filled up as we had our lunch. Lots of family’s with babies too, more a family orientated restaurant. Good ambience. Value for money. Simply delicious on a cold winter’s day. Highly recommend.

Only ever ordered from them online. They have a goat's cheese salad and tuna tartare that are criminally good. Surprised to find out this is a chain considering the quality of food that is on offer. Highly recommended.

Lovely attentive staff, the meal deals are always delicious (2 courses or 10.95), we always have the mussels. Last night we had steak, cod and duck and all were delicious.

Having a 10 month old it's limiting where you can go for lunch. Cote do a good two or three course lunch, there's lots of room for push chairs and it's quite baby friendly. I've been in the evening too, friendly staff, good food and nice venue.

We went for the pre-7pm menu: 2 courses for £10.95, 3 courses for £12.95. There is plenty of choice on the set menu and it's incredible value. I had croquette de porc with a poached egg and hollandaise, moules-frites, and iced berries with a warm white chocolate sauce. Food came promptly, but we weren't rushed. Staff came over to pour our wine attentively. Cannot recommend enough for a good value, delicious meal.

We had a great time yesterday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful as ever, and made our informal birthday meal a memorable one. We always enjoy our dinners here. We'll be back soon.

All was fine at Cote, just fine, no better. Sharing charcuterie plate was predictably too cold, so lacked flavour and the meats lacked ambition. Main courses were ok, nothing exciting. Fries' portions were tight. All in all, just ok. But not great value for what it is.

Went her for breakfast. Food was the wrong order and took 25 mins to arrive. Very average and small portions. Waiter was rude and non apologetic. Never again!

Ten of us for dinner on Saturday night. Great service and good food in a smart but buzzing environment. The two Italian waiters were just the best, you know who you are - many thanks. We will be back.

I've eaten in other Cote establishments and my experience has always been a good one. However the Battersea Cote has always been my favourite. The interior is well thought out, very stylish and the seating just right - comfortable and pleasing, I had lunch with my daughter. We had the lunch set menu (two course). The presentation and generous portions are superb.

As a family we love going to Cote because there's something for everyone. Sunday is always busy and when we went before Christmas it was very busy, but we were seated quickly. Staff are always very polite and attentive and menus and water are brought quickly. We ordered bread and a starter of calamari to share. It's a favourite here! We didn't have to wait too long for the food even though it was busy. However the calamari was bland and looked a bit pale and undercooked. It also tasted a bit odd. We didn't fuss as we knew it would hold up our mains. I had ordered the steak frites medium rare. When it came it was well done so they sent it back with no questions. The next one arrived and it was basically raw! That one went back too. Third time lucky but they had left off the garlic butter. By then the kids had finished their meals so I just got on and ate it. I have to say they usually cook the steak frites to perfection so either the chef on the grill was new or had lost control of the service. But it ruined my meal as the chips were cold and I ended up eating on my own. We noticed that another table had sent their food back too. Twice. On other days I would have rated Cote a 4 star but on this occasion my food was 2 star. So it gets a 3!

I live in the neighbourhood and every time I have been to this restaurant I have been amazed by how friendly and helpful the staff is. Can't recommend enough.

You can't knock Cote. Good food at decent prices. The specials are particularly good value with a nice selection of wines

For a chain that seems to think highly of itself, I was underwhelmed eating here on a Sunday early evening. Perhaps it's the bland decor that sets the tone - the dining room has the feel of a 3 star hotel, all broken up into bays - or is it the staff? - seemingly lots of them running around being busy but somehow never there when you need them. My companion had to go and ask for my drink, 15 minutes after I'd ordered, as no one came near our table. Our starters took an age to arrive and I will draw a veil over the gap between them and the arrival of the mains. The place wasn't busy either, by any means but it was the same when it came to asking for our bill - my friend went to the counter twice before it finally arrived. Jolly apologies from the staff do not cut the mustard, I'm afraid. The food was ok - fairly characterless. I'm sure Cote is popular with office parties and fine for groups who aren't looking for anything special. There are better places to eat.

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Well, let me tell you about the wonderful experience we enjoyed. Make sure you take a bit of extra time to enjoy their delicious food. We got to Experience their Christmas menu and it was by far one of the best meals I have ever had. The atmosphere was happening. It was busy (which is typically a great sign) and their employees were so friendly. When we're back in London, we will definitely have Cote Brasserie on our meal list.

We recently visited Cote in Battersea Rise and, as always, we had a lovely evening. The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly and attentive. A big thanks in particular to the waitresses Michal, Jitka and Paride for welcoming us always with a big smile, giving us their suggestions on the best dishes of the day and being always so nice and kind.We look forward to coming back again soon!

Been here twice now for lunch and really enjoyed it. It's located on a very busy road so quite noisy if you eat outside or the windows are open but it is a large venue so you could easily sit at the back of the restaurant away from the road. The service was excellent, the staff friendly. The food was excellent, well presented and food and wine reasonably priced.

I have loved this restaurant for years but my last visit has left a sour taste in my mouth sadly. Anyone whose been will agree that the menu is fantastic and the staff are charming and attentive. We had a lovely chap serving us who was v.helpful advising on wines and letting us try his recommendations which was great. Then our mains arrived and as I was just about to have my last mouthful I spotted a black curly hair in my pancakes. I confronted our kind waiter who took my plate back to the kitchen and said he'd be back once he'd looked in to the matter. However, he never came back and a different person (a lady) came over and handed us all a dessert menu! Then once she'd handed everyone one she sheepishly said 'sorry about the hair, I'll remove your main from the bill'. I just thought it a. extremely assuming to presume we want dessert and not even to confront the hair prior to his b. poor customer service for our original waiter not to return (I assume this lady was of a more senior position but without an introduction we couldn't be sure). I do understand that the matter has to be confronted discretely so as not to upset other diners but I left feeling very uncomfortable and unhappy with how the situation was dealt with.

This is a beautiful restaurant, wooden floors, space between tables. Its situation is prime, being between two popular venues, Northcote Rd and Clapham Common and easily accessed by public transport. The staff are friendly and efficient, slightly informal. The vegetables were of a high standard, and well presented. apart from the 'fries' which were more fry than potato. Here the praise ends... Its the protein ingredient, the expensive bit . The steaks, minute and otherwise are temptingly described as chargrilled. I always thought that meant stripes! In this case the outside was blackened, that fine but I have to say it was the most tasteless grey meat I have eaten a while. Not for me.

I visited this lovely, vibrant restaurant recently for a family get-together. I had just returned from 4 weeks in France, and my meal surpassed anything I had whilst there. My veal escalope was utterly perfect and my 5 fellow diners also rated their food very highly. Perfect chips, perfect beef, perfect veggie option, lovely tuna...... I think the prices were reasonable (although happily someone else paid the bill). Certainly cheaper than most so called "fine dining" restaurants on the South Coast where I live. Service was friendly and efficient. I live outside London. It's always a delight to come back to town and try somewhere new. Now that I have discovered this little chain I am eagerly looking to visit other branches. It was a lovely, happy evening. What more needs to be said!

The Cote Brasserie is part of a small chain. They offer good value French and European food. During the day they offer a very good value two or three course meal at a set price. The staff are friendly and it has a good atmosphere.

Popped in here on a Sunday morning for brunch and were pleasantly surprised for a chain venue. They have a great value brunch offer for £9.95 you can have a cooked breakfast, juice and hot drink. My other half opted for the full English which was really high quality - fresh ingredients and not at all greasy. My scrambled egg and smoked salmon was also lovely and a decent portion. Service was very quick and friendly.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my family on bank holiday Monday. It was very very loud in there - it was busy of course and I know they can't control the volume of other diners and screaming children, but just be aware that when full this restaurant is not a place for conversation. The waiting staff were all very nice and smiley. I ordered the chicken salad which I was told was seasoned. The chicken was bland and the salad was not pleasant either. It promised a lot in its description on the menu but didn't have any flavour and I also found things in there that it did not claim to have. I just thought this restaurant was loud, crowded and expensive for what it offers.

We are regulars at Cote in High Street Ken so were pleased when the chain opened close to us on Battersea Rise. The menu is full of French steak house staples and the standard of the kitchen is high, consistent and reliable. The crab mayonnaise last night was delicious and the steaks of a surprisingly high quality, particularly for the price. The stand out, however, is the staff. Never ruffled, always friendly, professional and courteous. Thanks to Maitre D' Mark for not batting an eyelid when we turned up 40 minutes after our reservation and finding us a table despite it being a very busy Thursday night? Highly recommended!

We had brunch here on Sunday. They serve breakfast to a very acceptable 1pm. We opted for the £9.95 offer - a choice of 4 or 5 breakfasts, a glass of free orange juice and a hot drinkThe food and service were excellent and this offer is a real bargain. It certainly beats queuing up forever at the Breakfast Club up the road!! Well worth a visit

The staff were very helpful. My friend and I had not seen each other for several years, so we were busy chatting. The waiter allowed us extra time to choose the meal - the restaurant was empty and it was lunch time! There were only about 4 other people there.
