Great location, but very poor service, as we only wanted to enjoy coffee and a few cold drinks and didn't want to order food. Apparently, it didn't fit the concept. Exorbitant prices.

Thought of trying the food here but worst experience. I am not sure how they managed to screw up english Breakfast and fish and chips but they definitely did. The fish was absolutely tasteless even frozen fish from the store will taste way better. For the English breakfast the bacon was very salty. Sausage did not taste great. Both costing almost 10 pounds each. If you charge a customer money the least list you can do is provide decent food The people visiting this place must definitely have no taste buds. I just had salad and fries from the plate and thats it. Hope they improve cause the place definitely has great potential.

This place knows how to do coffee right! Their beans are freshly roasted, and you can really taste the difference in every cup—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. If you appreciate a well-made coffee, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Ridiculously overpriced ice cream for what you get. Save your money and go elsewhere. Staff are not bothered if you’re unhappy they frankly couldn’t care less.

Nice place to take a break while exploring the city. Inside there is a lot of space and the food was quickly prepared and it was quite tasty and healthy.

Nice place ,had lunch wellness bowl but I have to say half the plate was rice ,you can choose tuna or feta to go with salad and rice but when can was 1tbs if tuna .

Unfortunately, I didn't get their names but the two guys serving this morning are always lovely - really friendly and polite.

Nice views but the service needs a major check. Jilani gave an extreme attitude and killed the entire vibe. Kieran was very nice and attentive despite the unwelcome entrance. Wouldn't recommend.

Sólo quiero darle un saludo a Stephen por la seguridad de la puerta. Él era tan encantador y me hizo a mí y a mis amigos tan bienvenidos. La mayoría de los porteros siempre están de mal humor, así que conocerlo fue bastante refrescante. Primera vez en el lugar y todo el personal era encantador, especialmente Stephen. Reservado para el almuerzo del domingo y la comida era horrible. Comí ensalada César que eran unas cuantas hojas de lechuga cubiertas de lo que sabía a mayonesa. No era comestible. Principal era carne asada nadando en salsa y verduras todo demasiado cocido. Los miembros de mi familia tuvieron la misma experiencia. No volverá

Scarborough Fish and Chips....£15.95...2 small fish with more batter than fish and over cooked. Over cooked chips with very little potato inside. Dried peas. Awful 😔. I will go elsewhere in future. Reply to your email... I find the fact that you're suggesting it was not your restaurant that we ate more concerning than the poor food! Questioning whether we ate at your restaurant is not a great look! We were a party of 7 but ordered in small groups. 3 had the fish and chips and each was poor. 2 had curry sauce. 1 had peas. We sat on the high stools/tables. 13.00. 10-05-2025. I am not asking for anything other than to make you aware, on this occasion, the fish and chips were not of a decent quality and hopefully give you the opportunity to check your kitchen.

We've been coming to Timbrells for our breakfast for years as we walk alot around the area. From our first trip, one of the things that brought us back was the staff member who served us. Every time she serves us, she's so cheery, and so attentive to our needs - we came in Sunday for our normal breakfast and this time I wanted to acknowledge what a fantastic job she does. I don't know her name, but she was working on Sunday 11 May and said her shift started at 7. She's super bubbly and she'll know who she is if you said 'the couple who come in and have tea, latte, a jug of water, 2 rounds of brown toast with butter/jam/marmalade, and no allergies'! She's a credit to you and one the reasons we've come back. Timbrells is a lovely place, all the staff are friendly, it's always welcoming, clean - and if we didn't live so close by, we'd absolutely book a room and stay with you. We've had a Sunday roast before and it was really tasty. It is surrounded by fantastic walks, and we usually take some toast crust to feed the squirrels!
