Came for food today and it was delicious. Really good portions and the prices are brilliant too! The staff are very helpful and friendly. The lady with the brown hair and glasses (i’m really sorry i didn’t catch your name) went above and beyond for us, made our visit even better.

The staff were brilliant and well mannered. The food was quickly served and it tasted delicious. The drinks were also nice, so many options. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to go somewhere to eat!

Nice food, friendly atmosphere, lots of parking. We enjoy coming for tea on a weekend so can get quite busy at times. Value for money.

I love eating here and recommend you try it. The staff are great, allways polite and they recognised me as well 🙂. I will be back. Now the only reason they lost a star was the food. I didn't complain as it is not normally like it. It was dry mash, over cooked onion rings and scampi. I think they need to reduce the heat or time they're in the fryer. Either way I'm sure it will get sorted. Here's to my next meal there.

This used to be a regular place for us, pre covid. They did amazing chicken platters, bbq rib type platter, mini tacos. Since covid, and understandably I suppose the menu has become rather basic. My go to is a hunter chicken in most places. However, on more than one occasion after ordering one here, I've been met with something a child could put together. I even asked and paid for extra cheese.. so I expected my chicken to be visibly covered in cheese.. this was not the case. There was a lack of cheese and bbq sauce. My partner paid extra for "mini meatballs" on his pizza, to be met with one meatball broken into bits and placed on the pizza. His garlic bread with cheese, lacked the cheese. This costed £45.00, its abysmal to be perfectly honest. The one good thing I will say is the chips were lovely and the bar staff are always so welcoming, can never fault them! Sad to say, what was once our regular is no longer somewhere I'd return.

Went for lunch with my family, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and was great service from get go. Ordered our little ones food first and was out in no more than 10 mins! My mixed grill was very tasty along with my partners hunters chicken baguette! Highly recommend!

I booked a table at lunch today 29.2.24 . In order for my elderly Father to meet up with my Daughter and Granddaughter on their way to an appointment. From walking through the door we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable by the dark haired lady who was on shift. The food was delivered very timely throughout which was great as my Daughter was on a tight Schedule. We all enjoyed the food and drinks, thank you. It was a special occasion but made all the more lovely by the kindness and attentiveness of the dark haired lady who took our order and generally looked after us through out our meal. I am sorry that i do not know the ladies name.

Quick service, comfortable seating, lighting perfect… not too bright, music correct volume not over powering, friendly staff

Staff were lovely and very attentive. There were 6 of us. Most meals were lovely. Child chicken nuggets was huge. Adult pizza very small. Child portion of sausage and mash was tiny. 2 sausages but a very small spoon of mash.with gravy. The chicken in the hunters chicken was very tough.Was disappointed. Also it took 25 mins to receive the ice cream Sunday which consisted of 2 scoops ice cream and chocolate sauce.😞

Best gammon meal ever overall visit much improved on times before .. staff extremely busy but still came to check we were satisfied with our meal

Very enjoyable and lovely atmosphere nice food

We've been here a few times and the food is always delicious which keeps us coming back. But today I ordered a pizza and there was a mistake with one of my toppings which is perfectly fine, mistakes happen. But the lovely ladies Kat and Yvonne (sorry if the names are spelled wrong) were both so nice to us and not only let us keep the pizza with the missing toppings, they made me a fresh pizza, gave us extra chips as an apology and got us a take away box ready knowing there would be leftovers. Absolutely great customer service. It definitely wasn't expected and so kind.

Stopped in for lunch last week, and the waitress, Deb, was lovely and welcoming. The food, cooked by Kim, was excellent and 6 different meals came out together, piping hot and well presented. We've been here several times since it opened and it keeps getting better, will definitely be back!

Brilliant food and brilliant service with a great variety of food for celiacs. The staff are amazing, kat always goes above and beyond for her customers, nothing is too much trouble, my little boy adores her. Would highly recommend the pizzas, hot dog & fish and chips.

Visited quite often during the last 6 months at lunchtimes for food. Firstly, no matter how much you are paying Debs it will never been enough! She is a credit to the pub, always busy, always smiling, makes sure you have everything you need - an excellent waitress. I have noticed over the last couple of visits that the portion sizes have got a lot smaller, which is a shame as I always thought them to be good value. Secondly, I always ask for an item not to be put on the plate however, the last 2 visits this has not been done. Therefore I get food that I will not eat which along with the smaller portion sizes means I only really get 2/3rds of the meal I have paid for! I do have to say that the food is well cooked and always hot. Puddings are excellent!

20 minute wait at the minimum today, everytime. They have a christening in of around 50 people I believe. I asked if they had been unaware that of the Christening turning up (as they only had one on the bar) and the guy behind the bar said 'no,they booked'. Surely you need more than one behind the bar on a saturday lunch time in a place this size. It's not fair on people queing 10 people deep on the bar whilst their family sit and wait. Puts people off going back to the bar, especially if your food has arrived as it would be stone cold by the time that you returned. Not fair on the staff either bless them. Food still good

Was served by Debs. Who always had a smile and was very welcoming. The food was amazing. Had the ultimate spicy burger, and the chips were crispy and hot. 6 of us ate today and there were no complaints with the food or drink. Kim was the chef on today. Considering most places seem to be going down hill. If the food and atmosphere is this good all the time. We will definitely be back. One of those things of if it's good. You don't mind paying a little more. Keep up the good work.

Came Tuesday night for some tea. Had mac and cheese was perfection. Then our lovely waiter pocket rocket Jake just made us laugh. Oh and the whole presentation he did with our puddings 😆Amazing service. Thankyou all for making the experience worth it.

Came with a friend for tea, great food and huge portions! Excellent service from POCKET ROCKET JAKE, who made us feel very welcome and let me change my order from vegan chicken to normal chicken when I realised I'd ordered wrong! So pleased he came and checked with me otherwise I'd be so mad with myself! POCKET ROCKET JAKE had excellent knowledge of desserts, including portion sizes and recommended the salted caramel cookie brownie which did not disappoint! Thank you to POCKET ROCKET JAKE for making us laugh and for excellent service 🚀

Nice clean, welcoming pub. My partner and I come here often for cheap and cheerful date nights, we've never had any issues with any of the food, we especially love the burger deal on Tuesday nights. This is made an even better night by the interactive smartphone quiz hosted by the lovely Mikey! It's by far the best pub quiz we've been too! Definitely recommend to fellow quiz fans. Doesn't end too late either, if you have to be up early for work then this is perfect! Staff are lovely and friendly too!

We decided to go for the lunch deal, I went to the bar and ordered 2x fish and chips and asked whether I had to order th desert at that time. I was told I could do this after we had eaten this was a good plan because we are not always sure what we would want until that point. I went to the bar after we had eaten the main course to order desert and was told I couldn’t do this as it had o be ordered at the time of ordering the main meal I was told nothing could be done as the till wouldn’t allow it. We left the restaurant without having a desert and feeling very angry, I DID ASK WHEN DOING THE ORIGINAL ORDER

Had a lovely lunch for 2 people, Deb, Yvonne and Lexy were very attentive and friendly.

Went for a mid week evening meal of 4 people. Not greeted on entry to the restaurant, very little staff behind the bar so had to order via the app. 50min wait for food after ordering, when food finally arrived it was missing sides and sauces. Two dishes had evidently been sat under the warming lamp for some time. Steak was fatty and full of gristle, sides finally arrived after meals had been finished. Overall rather disappointed. Will not be returning

Great local pub, excellent food and drinks, Great entertainment and they have great live bands on. Friendly staff and always have a smile on their face nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of outside seating which is ideal when the warmer weather comes.

A regular at the pub come twice a month with friends. Lovely place and welcoming and friendly staff. The meals are always cooked to perfection. The chicken kebab and mozzarella sticks on the new menu is a MUST. Lovely cocktails and a great selection of drinks. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Clean and friendly pub, definitely worth a visit.

We visit quite regular as the pub is within walking distance and have always been happy with the level of service. The staff are friendly and welcoming and quiz night is a must. The portion size and food quality is good for the price.

Went with a friend and tried the new menu deb and Steve were very nice and the restaurant is always clean. We were recommended the new hot dog and it did not disappoint

Great food. Tried the new menu from the chef Gary and had the kebab on a flat bread. Was so nice. Kebab meat was not overly greasy, which sometimes kebab meat from other places can be. Food was served quick and efficient. We had a lovely watered called Debs who was polite, friendly and cleared the table very quickly.

We tried a few dishes from the new menu today and they were lovely - good quality, ample portion size and very tasty. Our waitress Deb was brilliant as always; friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

A quick pit stop for lunch, and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and hot, and it took as long as you would expect freshly cooked food to take, and even though there was a mix-up with our order, the staff were great. The young man who served us was very apologetic and sorted our meals as quickly as he could. He even replaced our fries that we'd eaten whilst waiting. Top service, thank you. We will definitely be coming back.

We are new to the area so thought we would check out our new local pub, however we have been left disappointed with this first visit. Firstly, we ordered some dough balls and was then told 15 minutes later that they are out of stock so we had to be refunded. Also, our food (bear in mind this was just 2 plates) was ordered at 18:30 but we didn't receive it until after 19:15. Upon receiving the two dishes, the southern fried hunters chicken had no bacon on it - we even scraped off the pulled pork to see if it was underneath but it was not. It was also not "smothered in bbq sauce" like mentioned in the description on the menu, there seemed to be no sign of any sauce. Both dishes were very poor and even the grilled hunters chicken has a measly amount of sauce

Jordan, Garry and dobby are amazing chefs and made some amazingly lovely food tonight they need all the recognition they can get.

Ideal venue to just nip in to for a reasonable meal. Food has always been hot and service quick. Some gluten free options including the burger. 18.01.24 - I do feel that with the 30% off main meals voucher there is 30% less chips on the plate. I did mention this today and got a shrug and a "that's what you get" comment. Also the dessert prices are expensive for the amount you get and not great value for money, £5.45 for a tiny slither of chocolate fudge cake and a tiny ball of ice cream. Am pretty sure that the americano coffee was Azera instant coffee as I spotted this on the coffee machine, (not sure if the machine is broken or this is the normal but nothing was said!) It was £2.65 for the coffee.

Visited on 11th January. Got served by "pocket rocket" Pete, was very attentive to costumers needs. The food was amazing for pub food.

What’s delight our visit to the Six Halts was. Louise and Pete were extremely professional through out our meal. They both went above and beyond to ensure our meals were bought out all together (15 of them) they guided us through the menu and informed us of the daily offer’s available too. It was an absolute pleasure dining here with the service we all received. Thank you.

Superb every time, can’t go wrong! Pocket rocket Pete was our main host and what a great host he was, along side Jake who absolutely fascinated my niece with dinosaur facts! A young lady called Louise served us at the bar; despite nearly loosing her voice, she maintained a professional manner. The food was served warm and within a timely manner. Would and will definitely be going again. Thanks and see you soon!

It’s a Marsdens pub and similar to Greene King you have the usual branding of deals splattered all over the place , but to be fair to them you know what your getting and sometimes it’s needed , for a chain pub it’s a good one, the staff are lovely , the food is fairly priced and cheerful and there’s a decent selection of beer, nice atmosphere to take our little girl too and don’t feel out of place.

Food was okay for what it was, even though our order came out wrong we didn't send back as deb who was clearly the only waiter on shift looked absolutely run off her feet :( but still nothing was to much trouble, she was absolutely lovely. We really felt for her! There was one woman on the bar, one waiter and seemed like one chef which meant delays regarding everything. More waiting staff is needed 100% poor deb didn't get a minute and she looked and sounded poorly at that. Best employee there if you ask me, everytime I've been. Big up the pocket rocket♥️

I was excited to visit the venue as its on my doorstep. Online table booking was easy and appreciated. Booked our food using the qr code. Pub was not busy at all. Starter took a long time to come out, was about to go and ask at the bar . Starter was OK but lacked any presentation. Tried to get more drinks at the bar but failed. Only 3 people in front of me but 1 member of staff booking food and serving drinks took a long time. My main course went to the table so I had to abandon the drinks (not ordered). Asked our waitress if she could order them for us... "no" was the answer. The food was below average. Dry fish , tiny burger. Wanted a sweet but decided to go elsewhere...Still thirsty. Definitely wouldn't go again or recommend, sorry. .

We visited on new year's day - I would say the restaurant was probably three-quarters full. We ordered our drinks first and then food (both on the app). The drinks took about 20 minutes to come which was a bit of a surprise, we should have gone to the bar in hindsight. The food menu had a decent amount of vegan options; my partner ordered the fake chicken strips and chips, and I had a cauliflower curry. We did chase the food a couple of times, with some around us getting their food before us despite ordering after us. The fake chicken strips and chips came after about 50 minutes. My partner ate her whole meal before the curry arrived about 70 minutes. To be fair to the waiter, he did offer us a free off menu vegan dessert which my partner had. Unfortunately, the curry also had a naan bread, which the menu stated it shouldn't come with as it's not vegan. Thankfully I checked and the waiter confirmed it wasn't vegan, but someone could very easily have eaten it without realising.

Staff were really friendly & helpful,the service was very slow though? Nearly an hour waiting for our meals..Good job we were in the kids area & they were kept entertained by the tablets on the wall.Most of the food was o.k apart from the youngest had a kids chicken burger that was supposed to be buttermilk chicken & was actually southern fried & it was to spicy for him so ended up having half my burger.We had a nice afternoon tho on the whole,it was busy being Xmas which made it a nice atmosphere with quite a few families having meals together

I booked for my family of 6 on Christmas Eve & asked for a quiet table re my grandson's social anxiety which was ignored. Luckily he couldn't come in the end. We had to wait 3/4 of an hour for food then had to ask...

Where do I begin. 3 family's consisting of great mama. Mama n grandad daughter n son In law and granddaughter came today for breakfast with 🎅 santa. From start to finish it was so well organised with crafts and stuff for kids to do and unlimited tea n coffee n juice. Lovely cooked breakfast. Meet with santander at Yr table then professional foto with santander for all family. The staff were amazing the venue brilliant and the food lovely. Thank you to all involved.
