Absolutely horrible service here.. Came for a lovely 1 year anniversary meal with my boyfriend and accidentally ordered 3 drinks and then went to the bar to get a refund and refused it as it was already poured but it could of just been put onto waste ( I work in the hospitality industry I know these things) and as we got round to drinking the last drink it smelt horrible as if it hadn’t been cleaned and then the drink didn’t taste nice one bit we both took a sip it was absolutely disgusting and took it to the bar and again refused a refund and just poured us another drink when all the glasses was dirty and it was just horrible the fact they wouldn’t just refund one drink which was £3 not cheap when my boyfriend was paying and that was the last of his money the food was lovely but just the 1 drink issue I’m really disappointed as I’ve come here multiple times before and it’s been fine it was the last of our trip to finish off as we leave in the morning and I’m just overall disappointed

I often do pick-ups in your car park, and pop in for a tasty breakfast!! Always very well cooked and presented, and polite staff. Compliments to your breakfast chef. On a side note, please give kudos to the girl who cleans on a Thursday. It smelled lovely and very clean yesterday. I've spoke with your cleaner in charge once or twice, he gives very derogatory sexist comments about his staff, and how he's the greatest. I'm sorry but his hoovering is not good, food left under the same table over the weekend, trod in food on the carpet stays there for days. The floor is only proper clean on a Thursday when I come in. Over Christmas I saw him throw dirty cutlery off the ground into the clean cutlery tray, He told me how he's the man and in charge of outside, sorry but why is broken glass left for days? I've seen him in like 2 coats, a hat and he runs back in after a minute. I saw your girl on Thursday walk all around the carpark with no coat, and the ground was like an ice-rink. How is it him who's in charge when he can't clean properly? Toilets aren't great weekend mornings either. Anyway kudos to your breakfast chef, and your cleaning girl. 5* meals here.

Had a great meal and Drinks 4 nights this week , on Business Tash & Dean were great thanks had the Breaded Scampi and Sauvignon blanc with a glass of iced lemon water

Tash and dean have amazing at there jobs tonight and have helped me and my mates to order and made sure our food was hot and we enjoyed it!!!

Staff was brilliant and food was just as food

Really lovely place. Service warm and welcoming. Great food and lovely atmosphere, said from someone who is picky about atmosphere. This was our second visit because we enjoyed it so much and travelled several miles especially to come here. Would recommend and will be visiting again soon. Thank you 👍

Oh my goodness! This morning, breakfast with santa was amazing! The cuckoo team smashed it out of the park! Couldn't of asked for more. Such a personal experience with Mr and Mrs Claus. If you want a friendly, jolly and enjoyable day...Go!

Had an amazing experience dining and drinking at the cuckoo. Management very accommodating and all staff work very hard and are friendly. Would recommend for a chill vibe and family environment! Shoutout to Coral the assistant manager ☺️

We went for Christmas dinner this year to take the pressure of a bit and we enjoyed it from start to finish, our table was ready when we arrived, crackers went down a treat, as did the free welcome drink. Starters were all delicious.maims were tasty, and huge. Desserts were also very tasty. We all left uncomfortably full and satisfied! And as a bonus we didn't have to do the dishes. Made Christmas day a lot more relaxed. Staff were all awesome, happy and helpful. Thank you all at the Cuckoo Oak!

The absolute best breakfast with Santa morning!! An amazing experience for the kids being greeted by Charlotte the elf and Mrs Clause through to meeting the big man himself, it was perfect. Went to breakfast with Santa and it was lovely the Santa was great Mrs Claus was great breakfast and drinks was good. Thank you everybody that working made it a special morning. Would recommend with these guys thank you again for all the hard work you do.

Not many in there, took a long time to have food served . Dumped on the table and off they . Better service at McDonald's .. food was below average.. had a wrap that's new on the menu. looked like something your young child made at school .. small chips I counted 12 in a extra portion .. Will not ever go back .. tried it and never again .. very poor .. Waited at bar for a drink . But had to wait because the bar lady was busy showing another member of staff a post on Facebook .. terrible place not happy with it at all .. personally, I give it a miss.. plenty of other places close by ..

We did santas breakfast at the cuckoo oak and everything was amazing!! From start to finish the team were amazing!! My little girl runs away from Santa normally but this time she sat with him and he didn’t rush her! Also can be quite shy but Charlotte made sure she wasn’t left out of dancing games!💗 thank you again for a great time!

It was absolutely fantastic, i havent been in years but booked for the breakfast with Santa, my son can be so awkward but the blonde cheeky elf was absolutely amazing, got my son involved, and he hasnt stopped talking about how magical it was. Breakfast was one of the best iv had and was so cheap, will definitely be back.

We took our Daughter for her 9th Birthday, the service at the bar was very quick efficient and informative, it was very clean, the table service was very fast our food arrived within 15-20 minutes of ordering overall it was a very pleasurable experience and we will be dining here again.

Came on Sunday evening with my daughter, it was quite. My daughter ordered our food and drinks at the bar, bar staff said the food we ordered wasn't on the menu !. Our starter came out, a combo to share, which we were tucking into, lovely food, then..... our main meal came out !!!!!!! . Reason...... we have a team meeting !!!!. So we were half way through our starter, and our main meal was was sitting on the table getting cold !!!. There was no reason for it to be bought out then as they bought out other food 15 minutes later. To add insult to injury she took my daughter's plate away, I was still eating, and seemed to be hovering for mine. We have had many meals here, so not all impressed by this what's so ever. Don't think we will be back either.

Thank you so much to Charlotte and the team today, we all really enjoyed breakfast with Santa. The kids especially enjoyed the music and the snow ball fight with Santa. Great to see everyone getting involved and in the Christmas spirit!

I have breakfast every Friday, Saturday and Sunday before I start work at 11am and the occasional meal after work. Recommend.

Been here lots of times food is what you would expect for feeding 4 for £30 with drinks, service is always good and relatively quick, tables are often reserved which says something in itself.

Very nice staff serving us alway pleasant food was very good aswell my 8 years old eat loads we has 2 burgers very tasty indeed.

Saturday afternoon lunch with hubby and daughters. 2 people meals ok. The other 2 people had the turkey dinner. Lots of turkey. Had to ask for gravy. The waitress said that they only put a little gravy on the turkey. Had to ask for more gravy. The roast potatoes were very hard. I couldn't put my fork in them. If I had thrown them at the window, the window would break. Not enjoyable at all. We are expecting a refund.

Hi Very nice breakfast only downfall is if u dont like eggs they dont give u a sub like a hash brown or extra mushrooms etc and u still have to pay the same price...

We arrived on Saturday morning before 12, we were waiting to place a our order as their were people placing their order at the bar. When a young lady abruptly asked us what we wanted. So we thought this place is not for us and left. When we walked outside a cupel who was also leaving told us not be bothered by the lady who spoke to us. She isn't normally like that it's because she tried bleaching her hair and it whent wrong. We felt sorry for her after that.

Called in today for lunch. Meals had just been delivered to the table when 3 young lads sat down on the next table. They started laughing out loud and swearing (the f word was used every other word), no respect for us or other lunchtime diners (women and children). They were carrying out this behaviour in front of and with the approval of bar and waiter staff. We moved to another table but this will be our last visit. I know lads can be loud and noisy at times when out with their friends but surely take that to the bar area and not where couples and families are eating. I would have expected a member of staff to have asked these lads to tone down their language. If you are looking for a family pub to enjoy a quiet meal keep clear of this one.

Hadn't been in for a while and was shocked to see how much the food has gone up and the portion sizes reduced. £8 for a breakfast that wouldn't fill a child up. 1 sausage!! If it was a posh establishment you could maybe understand, but its far from posh. Won't be going back.

Was in this nice pub today but couldn't believe what I was witnessing with the staff on duty. That were about five gathered at the end of the bar swearing and loud having a discussion and couldn't care less with the customers in the pub trying to have a quiet drink. This establishment normally runs in a professional manner untill it goes quiet then staff have gatherings are let loose with their loud conversations ..so not professional at all
