Went in wanting a "quick" takeaway latte it was around 9am on a mid weekday wasn't busy I was second in the qué I stood there for 20 mins whilst the lady in front proceeded to talk about all sorts of stuff whilst waiting for her coffee and god knows what else she clearly knew the person serving didn't help matters that only one staff serving was far too slow. No awareness too wrapped up in conversation to even care that I was waiting and the que was building up behind...the thought in my head was "get a move on I just want a coffee and be gone". Got fed up with it and walked out. Sort it out Costa!!

I used to love coming here, but unfortunately, I think there is a lack of staff here ,and the cakes are always stale,I will will be looking for somewhere else soon .The stale cakes is not just this Costa ,unfortunately most now

Most Costa coffee shops Tend To Be the same, this one is located within the town center and a ideal place to take the break, staff were friendly and the drinks were really nice

Had a bacon bap and a cappuccino, both very good, although the air conditioning was a little to cold for me.

popped in as was staying in hotel opposite by the lake - staff were friendly coffee and cake were both very tasty. Sat for a while as was waiting for a friend didn't feel like i needed to move or was in the way. enjoyable

Great branch for a solo coffee date or a place to go with your friends! Can't fault the staff on the day I went even whilst being shift of staff. What's stopping you from having a relaxing morning or afternoon by yourself or with friends.

This was not our first visit to Southwater Costa, and we have always found the staff to be friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Good coffee and tables cleared and clean. Close to the park for food and drinks.

No ice so a mango fruit cooler was out of the question, I ordered a coke and it was warm out of the fridge. I appreciate it's a coffee shop but if you offer cold drinks make sure they're cold.

Reviewing costa in the shopping centre - awful customer service from the barista. He basically accused me of theft for perusing a product whilst passing the time waiting for my drink to be made up.

Clean tables. Fantastic service

Arrived at 10am and already had no seeded bread for toast, no bacon sandwiches just sausage. Food was tasty and drinks were served hot. Clean place.

Called in today at 15.55 to get a couple of coffees. Unfortunately We were unable to find a table that didn’t have dirty cups and saucers on them.The staff were busy serving and therefore didn’t have the opportunity to clear tables etc and I’m assuming that there was no one to load the dishwasher or clean tables. We left without buying anything.This is not a criticism of the staff as I know they work really hard however surely a part time worker could be employed over the holidays to help with the increase in trade?We we’re disappointed and left without buying anything.

I mainly go here on a Saturday there is a blonde lady who seem to always be in rude gets your orders wrong then blames the costumer. Won't be using anymore. Will be using the others Costa instead

The service was first class. The man who attended to our order was very kind & helpful brought our order to the table . The place was clean & tidy no trays left on tables. The station was filled with the appropriate condiments . The only thing missing was serviettes. Well done team.

If I could give a zero I would. The person who served me was rude, the drinks weren't made correctly and the egg sandwich would have been better if it actually contained some egg and wasnt dried up stodge. When I took it back the same woman bluntly said ' we dont make them contact customer services' and walked off. Not good enough from a major chain and I expected more.

My family and I had never been treated the way we were by the Manager Louise, she insisted we were a party of eight, we were sitting at two separate tables but talking amongst each other, she would not accept that we were 2 families of four, how she knew the make up of our families is beyond me. Three times she came to our tables and to cut a long story short the Manager Louise quoted that under the rules of Covid outlined by the Government from 17 May even if there were 2 families which she said we were not it was a maximum of 6 which is totally incorrect. We were then asked to leave, my sister and her daughter had to have their drinks tipped into takeaway cups. We were totally humiliated and her voice was quite loud so everyone in the store could hear. I have put an official complaint into Costa. I will never go in this store again, I will instead visit the Costa in Southwater or in Next on the Forge Retail Park where we have always been welcomed. This Manager needs to attend a customer care course and updated on Covid Regulations, she has really let down the Costa brand name. If I could I would have given no stars. I hope this is an isolated case, we will see.

Me and my partner came into your shop, it didn't seem too busy. We asked for two coffees and both was not made properly, I even asked the barista to re-make one of those drinks, and that wasn't even made properly. I was surprised the drinks wasn't made up to standard seeming that the shop wasn't even busy.

Used to go to Costa most weekends but the standards ate seriously slipping. Ordered 2 hot chocolate which were tasteless and service was awful- queued for ages. Come on Costa get a grip if you want to stay in business - we used to spend approximately £10 a week most weekends but don't visit very often now

Went for 8;00am meeting. Service was excellent and at that time quiet. Nice and clean, made to feel welcome

No clean tables ended up moving cup ,plates,rubbish onto another table. Nobody came to clear tables the whole 3 quarters of an hour while we where there. Customer’s were moving stuff from one table to another table . But what was really funny , a girl staff member was eating her lunch next to us ,and when she finished she just left all her rubbish on the table ! Went around to the counter and started serving .

Always try and call here when walking in the Park with the dogs. Staff are always welcoming, cheery, not sure if its the location that helps. Happily provide a bowl of water for the dogs as well.

I despise bad customer service- especially from ‘management’. Served this morning by a ‘Manager’ Not welcomed with a smile or a conversation. Just given direct questions, made to feel inferior and just general bad customer service. Sorry I was a burden this morning, I thought asking for a drink and toast was part of the service contract. The other member of the team was pleasant perhaps lessons could be learnt?

Large queue of people waiting for drinks whilst they were still trying to serve four people received there drinks before me that ordered after when i asked where my drink was as my friend had received hers prior to these other four people getting theirs i was told rather abruptly by the manager mine was coming and to be patient! Lets say i will be avoiding this store in future and using the one in southwater.. Rudeness and shouted at by a manager in a place full of other customers is shocking behaviour.

We had a light lunch with hot drinks here. The service was fast and the food and drinks hot. There is room around tables as one of our people was in a wheelchair.

Being local we often visit the Costa Coffee in Next at The Telford Forge Retail Park.Always enjoy this costa. Staff are friendly and helpful and it is usually well stocked, although today being 1st Jan the cakes were a bit limited but probably due to it being a BH and no deliveries.Plenty of seating but it does get busy at lunchtimes.Toilets available.

Nice atmosphere, excellent staff, great coffee. What's not to enjoy? This is a must if you're visiting Telford centre. Recommended!

I have Irlens which means the light that goes into my eyes takes a while to be interpreted and text needs to be clear. I'm not a coffee shop addict and don't frequent them often, I don't know the etiquette. People knew what they wanted, how they wanted it and how the ordering system worked, I didn't. I struggled and asked for help. The manager was condescending with her smirk, she laughed as she turned. I felt so embarrassed and out of place. I went to sit outside amongst the fags, yuck. I cleared my own table and kicked the rubbish to the side. Never again, this was expensive bitter taste of coffee and customer service.

Although the shop was really busy, steff were really friendly and coffee was excellent - unfortunately was too late for before 11 offer of bacon roll, but perhaps next time

Always seems to be our first stop when shopping. Staff always friendly to chat with. Quick service with seating inside or outside. Bacon cob before 11 am £1.00 sets you up for your shopping.

Salchicha sandwichera. . . No es tan bueno como el M&S equivalente. Sorprendido La salchicha estaba sólo pedazos de perritos salchichas en vez de toda/reducido a salchichas. Mi madre me gustó su sándwich de huevo. Un buen café. . . Mejor que Starbucks.

Fuimos a la Costa Café en Telford Centro Comercial con mi familia para comer algo y café, tenían una oferta que anunciaban como disponible hasta las 11. 00 A. M., tocino bap con café por £1. 00. Llegamos alrededor de las 10. 10, cuando pedimos 2 bacon panecillos, nos dijeron que se habían quedado sin stock, sin embargo, me di cuenta de que 2 clientes nos sirven estas justo antes que pedir. A menos y hasta que mejoren el servicio promocional Costa, han perdido un cliente! !

Good, standard Costa. Outdoor seating which is great to watch the world go by. They also put water bowls down for dogs. So a lovely walk in to town wit the dog and have a Coffee and a piece of cake.

Típico de esta cadena, buen café, etc. Es la ubicación que lo convierte en uno, justo en cuanto a lago en la entrada al parque de la ciudad. Acceso rápido a la biblioteca de la ciudad de arriba, centro comercial a un paso y un montón de aparcamiento (de pago). También como parte de la misma es un complejo de cine, una pista de hielo, jugar a los bolos y un montón de restaurantes. El servicio aquí es bueno, incluso en la temporada más concurrida, con asientos al aire libre.

A menudo si soy libre durante el día, al mediodía, ir al encuentro de mi compañero para el café a la hora del almuerzo. Este fue de hecho donde tuvimos nuestra primera fecha! ! ! ! Me gusta cómo durante la Navidad/festivo tienen una buena variedad de bebidas, que siempre hace un cambio agradable de café todo el tiempo. Hay una asombrosa cuatro tiendas de café Costa en Telford (una al lado de la biblioteca en la SW1, uno cerca de H&M y uno en el Cine Odeon) me he convertido en un fan de Chai Latte es sin embargo, en Navidad am parcial a un picante de manzana caliente! ! ! ! Came here with two children who couldn't decide what they wanted and the staff were a great help very patient. The costa was lovely and clean. I would definitely go again!

I go to costa quite frequently with friends & family. Usually have coffee with a little dessert and always have a lovely time. The staff are always friendly and polite,the food & drinks are served to perfection and the atmosphere of the little coffee shops are lovely. I highly recommend going to any local costa as it has no faults about it.

Like every other Costa, this place served a great coffee and the food was good too. A fresh wrap that was good value for money.

We usually get on well at Costa shops but the attitude of the staff at the Costa by House of Fraser came as a surprise. There were no veggie paninis on the shelf and lots of gaps and so not much choice for anyone. On asking about a veggie option the attitude was they only had what is there so take it or leave it !! We left it as there was no sorry and it just seemed that they couldn't be bothered and it was only 1pm. Poor Costa very poor.

Great environment to meet up with a friend. Service was acceptable although tables not cleared very quickly. Food was ok. Had to move seats to get out of a draft from the door.

I like to grab coffee with a friend in the week. However I've been here a couple of times ams haven't been impressed worth the service both occasions I was given the wrong order staff seem miserable and can't be bothered

I have made many visits to Costa outlets and have always come away being well pleased with the standard of coffee and the service offered. However my visit to the Telford outlet was a complete disappointment. I asked for two skinny Latte and received two cappuccino's I asked for brown toast for two sorry we have not any toast, I asked for two croissants sorry we only have one all this at 10.30am. In addition to this at the rear of the outlet a strange smell was very apparent. Unless they improve I will not visit again as they have much choice to have coffee etc in Telford Shopping Centre.
