My friend purchased a large stoneware pot. Anthony was very helpful. He was polite, friendly, and cheerful. I said I would put this review in his name, as he went the extra mile. The staff overall very friendly, and approachable, which is appreciated. I will revisit in the near future. It’s a bonus having dog friendly venue, catering for people under cover from the ailments too. I will recommend the emporium also, as we walked in smiling, came out laughing, the ambience very nice. Thanks guys, a pleasant experience all round.

We all enjoyed a great Sunday lunch and the staff were so attentive and helped to take plate to table for me. Pleased to see the place was busy and well supported by locals.

Three of us went in and ordered; two desserts came out first slightly cold whilst we waited ages for the third to be constructed we complained as we went in to eat as a family hoping to eat together. At the end we were given a feeble apology and a really very small discount for the inconvenience I would not recommend this place the photos looked better than reality.

Asked for cheese burger wirh tomato and lettuce. It came plain. Chips were ok. Had to ask for knives and forks as they brought the food out and walked away. Burger wasnt pleasent to eat.

This place is atmospherically welcoming. Has friendly, approachable staff. Recent new management. Good business potential. Staff are aware of many challenges ahead but facing them with dedication and focused perseverance. Listed building. Geographically, an ideal spot. Excellent food. Comfortable rooms.

I love this cafe. Good food, reasonably priced with polite smiling service. We always visit, never takeaway.

We thought we would try this place again based on positive comments from friends. Food and service on Valentine's Day were exceptional. Much better than the last time we went a few years ago under the previous management. We only live 2 minutes away and may now go back again after such a positive experience.

La comida está bien, pero la gestión y el servicio son horribles. Para cuando llegamos allí (5 pm) se habían quedado sin cordero, chirivías y -¿creerías- ketchup. Como la comida infantil era muy sosa salimos a comprar la nuestra, al igual que 2 mesas cercanas con niños. ¡Ninguno de los miembros del equipo tuvo la osadía de ir a una de las 3 tiendas de alimentos cercanas! El servicio fue dolorosamente lento. A la niña de nuestra fiesta le habían servido la comida y comido 20 minutos antes de que los adultos recibieran la suya. Un pedido de 2 bebidas tomó 25 minutos y 3 recordatorios. El proyecto de ley tomó 20 minutos y 3 solicitudes. Les envié un correo electrónico señalando los problemas, pero nadie se molestó en responder. Dice que si todo realmente.

Hemos aparecido por algunos bits en varias ocasiones, los precios son altos, ¡pero eso es lo que obtienes con una tienda agrícola! Necesita más cantidades de quiches disponibles diariamente, ya que nunca hay muchas opciones cuando visitamos y necesita más personal para manejar las cajas, ya que siempre hemos tenido que esperar un tiempo antes de que nos sirvan, lo cual es un poco molesto en ocasiones cuando ve a los miembros del personal. detrás del mostrador de delicatessen no haciendo mucho.

12 of us went for Sunday lunch and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The food was delicious, lots of it, and the biggest Yorkshire puddings ever! Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. We go out once a month as a group of friends for Sunday lunch, and we always rate the venue for food and service - we rated the Royal Oak 9.75. We will be back.

Ordered a mini Monty sandwich, the girl that took my order was that slow at making it I was the only customer at the time. it was cold when I ate it straight out of the shop, bacon was like leather and the egg was like rubber £4.80 don’t think I’ll b back.

Food dreadful taste like all cooked in deep fat fryer
