The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

It would have been a good night had it not been for the unprofessional attitude of the manager, Having looked at the menu on their website, we decided to book for a team dinner as the prices fit within our budget - The weekday menu is advertised as £17.50 for 2 courses and £22.00 for 3 courses. The meal was OK, and the service was great (I do feel bad for the waitress giving a 1 star review) the problems arose when the bill arrived. You get presented with a blank piece of paper apart from the total, no breakdown of meals or prices, and it was far higher than it should have been. In our party of 18, 10 people had 2 courses and 8 had 3 courses and they tried to charge almost £550.00. I questioned this and was told I would need to speak with the manager. When he came out of the kitchen, he didn't walk further than the door so we had to go over to him (this conversation wouldn't have disturbed any other customers as we were the only people there). From the start he was incredibly rude and when we questioned the amount of the bill he insisted it was correct. We tried to explain that the menu on the website very clearly stated different prices and even checked it whilst we were talking just in case anything had changed - it hadn't but he didn't care. He continued to insist the price charged was correct, which was £27.50 per person, we pointed out that was the price advertised on the weekend menu and we were there on a Wednesday. His response to this they were old prices and how we can we expect to only pay £17.50 or £22.00. He couldn't tell me how we were meant to be aware of this without being told. He continued to argue, yell and dismiss all of our questions, until he stomped off into the kitchen yelling over his shoulder for us to get out! We settled the bill, at the advertised price, and ensured that the service charge added did go to the staff, but this encounter did overshadow the evening and is not how I expect any customer to be treated in a restaurant. I would not recomend going to this restaurant based on the way the manager treats people who have the "audacity" to question him, if you do decide to go make you check the prices before ordering anything. The picture below shows the menu the night we were there and I have checked their website again today and the weekday menu is still advertised at the same price.

Very nice buffet style restaurant with a great selection of Mediterranean style foods, good selection of meats, cheeses and many other items. Very relaxed venue with pleasant decor, attentive staff and a great atmosphere.

This spot is fantastic! The food is great and the service is impeccable:) I was wary of even having lunch down leather lane as it was filled with stalls but after tasting a sample of the falafel, I found myself going inside for lunch. The lady explained everything really clearly letting me know what my options were and the price of each one. Honestly fantastic service!

Although it may not have the most luxurious decor the food was delicious at reasonable price and I was glad I came here to get a taste of their Lebanese specials!

Como siempre, gran relación calidad-precio, buena comida de cafetería, gran selección con platos aún más grandes. . . Ten hambre cuando cenes. El personal, como siempre, brillante y feliz de ayudar. . . Nada parece demasiado problema. Bonita, área al aire libre cubierta también. El plato más cercano es una parrilla mixta, alrededor de £ 9 y papá era una mezcla pequeña.

This has been my local kebab shop for many years. The staff are always nice and friendly and the food is delicious, I would definitely recommend

Estupendo. Entramos para una cena rápida y pequeña y la comida era excelente. Cangrejo Orzo era particularmente bueno. Personal amable también.

Unfortunately, as usual, despite my standing at roadside, driver went to the wrong address - quality of food seemed fine but was cold and inedible…..

We have eaten here several times as we generally stay in the hotel opposite when visiting London which is multiple times each year Yesterday, we popped in to ask what time they opened for breakfast as I had a hospital appointment to get to and the friendly waitress advised it was 8 am We could see they weren’t quite ready the next morning at 8 so waited just across the road … the waitress was putting the tables out outside and we watched her kick the rubbish from outside their doors into the street… we pottered over thinking she would probably get a brush ( she didn’t) we asked if they were now open and she was so rude in her response … she told us to wait which for some reason we did … to then have her throw water all over the path in front of us cleaning up some sick or something outside their door which consequently went all over the path and under our feet … she was horrible, rude and dirty … we wouldn’t be able to eat now as this made me question her hygiene standards On a better note, whilst not great if you fancy a full English, the pret on the corner had the most wonderful polite and friendly staff

Updated April 2025. Still great food, beer and wine. Thanks to the team at The Eagle. Friendly, busy pub. Food is simple but delicious and fresh, with a short menu that changes frequently. Highly recommend.

Tenemos una mesa fácilmente, la vista es espléndida de hecho. Después de hablar con los camareros, Margarita no decepcionó, Martini era promedio - aguada y no estaba bien fría. La cocina estaba cerrada a las 2100, pero nos trajeron un pequeño tazón con lo que se suponía que eran nueces, había una docena de cacahuetes y algunos otros trozos no estoy seguro de qué, sabor poco atractivo. Basándonos en la calidad asumimos que era un mordisco ofrecido con las bebidas hasta que lo vimos en la factura de £ 4. 50 . Recomendamos para la vista, ritmos fríos y ambiente si tienes ganas de chapotear: cócteles £ 15 + 15% de cargo por servicio.

A Lebanese restaurant close to Oxford that serves Arabic-Lebanese dishes and has outdoor seating. The restaurant is located on the corner of the street and seating is the most important and best thing in the restaurant.

I just bought a pita and they must have missed that I asked souvlaki, because I received gyros. On top of that their toilets were dirty and their Rita's tzatziki tastes like vomit. I don't know how they achieved this but I am feeling sorry I bought two pitas ....

I recently dined at Mammonia Lounge in Mayfair, and it was an exceptional experience.The ambience was cosy and inviting, with soft lighting and decor.The menu offered a delightful range of Lebanese dishes, and the food was absolutely delicious and we had seconds! The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly staff, our waitress Gabriella on the day was absolutely brilliant and extremely helpful, she provided an excellent service. We will definitely be going back!
