The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

I recently dined at Mammonia Lounge in Mayfair, and it was an exceptional experience.The ambience was cosy and inviting, with soft lighting and decor.The menu offered a delightful range of Lebanese dishes, and the food was absolutely delicious and we had seconds! The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly staff, our waitress Gabriella on the day was absolutely brilliant and extremely helpful, she provided an excellent service. We will definitely be going back!

This was a real surprise. I chose it for its vibrant decor and cocktail menu. I got so much more. Fabulous drag DJ entertainer with the best legs I've ever seen. My husband and I really did have a riot of a time. Singing and dancing along was a hoot. Just wish it was local we would go there all the time. Staff were fun and welcoming. Just remember it's a drag act so not for the super touchy and easily offended. Loved it, keep it up girl, oh and the doorman had some great moves too!xx

Olea Social is a gem. The service is brilliant— friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They were accommodating with allergies, taking care to ensure every dish was safe for each person. The food was varied and absolutely lovely. Great selection of wine. Highly recommend!

Sapores Lounge es una delicia absoluta! El ambiente es cálido y acogedor, perfecto para una noche relajada con amigos o una cena informal. La comida es deliciosa, llena de sabores ricos y bellamente presentada. Lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial es el maravilloso personal. Un saludo especial a Roberto, que trabaja allí: es increíblemente amable, profesional y siempre se asegura de que los huéspedes se sientan como en casa. I have been here a few times, previously for birthday parties and dinners with friends. The staff are friendly and the space is so big which is amazing in London but the food has always below average. The last time I ate there I got the worst food poisoning of my life, threw up 10 times between eating there around 5:30 and waking up the next day and continued being nauseous for multiple days. Steer clear of the cod sandwich.

Lovely venue - not the best service

I booked a table via the website on November 25 ,received confirmation of the reservation for November 29, 2024, on site it turned out that the place had been closed by the police since November 5. What does that mean? Misleading customers because the website worked normally. Very unprofessional and rude

I find it quite unbelievable that, after claiming to be a vegetarian restaurant for years, they’re still selling non-vegetarian Parmesan on their menu - they even mention this on the website (calf rennet is made from dead calves). The Vegetarian Society contacted them about this in 2014, but they don’t appear to have taken it on board. There are so many vegetarian cheeses these days (I don’t mean vegan cheese, I mean dairy cheese made without animal rennet), it’s a shame they couldn’t accept this feedback. I wonder how many unsuspecting people have eaten here believing their food to be vegetarian, when it isn’t.

Have been going to Morito for over 4 years, pretty regular across both locations as well as Moro and a great fan of Sam & Sam. I believe today’s experience was pretty much the end of the journey. Good produce and service does not come cheap, but hyper-inflation of prices and reduction in portion sizes has made a marked difference in the experience one gets. Kudos to the waiters who were kind enough to understand our frustrations as regulars.

Red peas soup, the kidney beans were under cooked and inedible. Ackee & salt fish was over priced for the portion size and didn't taste nice

I ordered one Loubieh B'Zeit (With Rice) and received one Bamieh B'Zeit (With Rice) instead, which we hate it!

I made a reservation for New Year's Eve. I put in a bank imprint etc. I received the confirmation emails. The same day, 12/31/2024 at 1:00 p.m., I received a WhatsApp message saying that the reservation was canceled because the restaurant will not open. This is unacceptable, we find ourselves with nothing the same day. The restaurant no longer even responds to the message and did not even recommend a nearby establishment or similar.
