Mrs Riot in City of London, Westminster

This was a real surprise. I chose it for its vibrant decor and cocktail menu. I got so much more. Fabulous drag DJ entertainer with the best legs I've ever seen. My husband and I really did have a riot of a time. Singing and dancing along was a hoot. Just wish it was local we would go there all the time. Staff were fun and welcoming. Just remember it's a drag act so not for the super touchy and easily offended. Loved it, keep it up girl, oh and the doorman had some great moves too!xx

Had a work night out treat from our lovely bosses, great food, cocktails were amazing and our host the fabulous Toby was.....fabulous. Really enjoyed it, will come again.

Called in for a cocktail while visiting Covent Garden, lured in by the 2 4 1 Expresso Martini's. WARNING.........2 4 1 is actually 1 4 2. Glasses not even half full, mostly foam, and measures questionable. They did top up the glasses but probably only with coffee. If I had paid the full price for these (£15) I would have been well unhappy. Staff were friendly though and didn't seem fazed when we asked the £3.44 (12.5%) service charge to be removed.

We are regular visitors to Mrs Riot for drag brunch - we travel from Sheffield for the day and it is always worth it! Especially to see Chiyo the gorgeous drag king who performs regularly there if you haven’t seen him yet you need to❤️ we will be attending again on Saturday and can’t wait

I would have loved to have tried the cocktails here but was told, at just after midday, that we could have a drink but would have to sit outside (in February). We declined the offer

This place has the potential to be nice. We popped in for a few drinks after discovering it thinking it was nice. 10mins after being seated and told to come in for drinks a drag brunch started that we did not know about. The host was rude, passive aggressive and so self absorbed she did not read the room when people were uncomfortable. We were sat outside the brunch area so we were not part of it which we were happy about but then the host attacked us for not watching the show and then went on to tell the crowd we hadn’t paid, well she was getting us about 2 opposite things. I like humour and have been to drag brunches before but I fortunately this was just rude and aggressive behaviour. We didn’t even finish our drinks, paid and left.

Wonderfully glitzy, kitsch, camp decor. Fabulous cocktails and friendly service, though took over 20 minutes each time to get a round (there were six of us, but still!). Would go again though, but next time would order the next round as soon as they deliver the round!

We went in for drinks today’s 8th Dec 2023. The drinks menu is on every table. We decided to go for the cocktails as the menu states 2-4-1 all day long Tuesday through Friday. When we ordered our cocktails bearing in mind it’s 3pm Friday so clearly 2-4-1 we were told we couldn’t have them until 4pm even tho the menu states 2-4-1 all day long Tuesday through Friday. The bar staff told me they’ve been told not to give people 2-4-1. Personally I think it’s disgusting that you are happy to get people in, blatantly give them a false menu. You’re advertising something you’re simply not providing. That’s against trading standards. My advice to anyone thinking of going to MRS riot is stay away from it. They are coning people and the staff really couldn’t care less about you. Disgusting attitudes from them when you enquire about 2-4-1 all day long. Plenty of decent bars in Covent Garden. Give mrs riot a miss.

Be careful. Buy a cocktail and get one free it’s a joke. So four cocktails (two was free) for 55,31 pound. Unfortunately I saw that the day after. They fooled me big time and of course they saw the amount on the cardholder but did not say anything

Absolutely fantastic evening. Girlie evening over drinks and finger food. The cocktails were great especially the sweaty summer! It was hot! Layout great. Atmosphere buzzing and you can dance near your table. DJ played current and not so old music. The snacks were good. Definitely worth a visit.

Gorgeous decor, nice menu for cocktails. Lively atmosphere. Others have mentioned service charge added to their bill but we paid for drinks as we ordered so no extra charge added.

Absolutely loved everything about it. The live DJ played amazing uplifting dance music, the waiting staff were friendly and smiley and the doorman was chatty too. Yes alittle pricey but the cocktails and the whole experience was 10 out of 10. Can't wait to return! Well done all...

Came here 3 times earlier in the year and had an amazing time and best cocktails. Visited last night and they've changed the cocktail menu (despite having the old one still online). The new cocktails are NOT nice. Had 5 different ones, and every single one was bitter even after ordering from the sweet section. Really disappointing. Won't be back unless the cocktails improve. Please bring back the cherry whisky sour, rhubarb and custard etc. As a side note our server disappeared after the second drink and we ended up ordering the rest from the bar and had a table full of empty glasses, yet still charged the 12.5% service charge. Shame as this place was great on previous visits.

Happy hour advertised on board outside - really on BOGOF on Spritz’s. When we paid, chose no tip - they had brought one drink to the table. Bill should have been £11.50 but charged £14.14. Argued this with staff - but was told it was a service charge. If you do choose to eat/drink here, use the QR code to order and pay - you will know exactly what you’re paying. The table next to us also argued they had been over-charged for every item they had ordered. They left without paying out of protest. It is not written/displayed ANYWHERE that there is a mandatory 25% service charge.

Merely average cocktails at extortionate prices.there are There are plenty of better places nearby so I'd recommend going elsewhere .
