Lazeez Lebanese Tapas in City of London, Westminster

We thought we would try this place as we were passing as we love Lebanese food. This place was a complete disappointment. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive all our food arrives at different times so we couldn't enjoy our food together. The food was served in tiny plates and is extremely overpriced for the quality of food. This really is NOT authentic Lebanese food. Please don't waste your money here.

I would never come to this establishment ever again. The food was good but definitely not worth the price, for example I ordered a cheesecake for £12 and I received a singular slither of cake. It was absolutely tiny and thin! The cheesecake was good I must admit but £12 is crazy. When I asked for tap water for the two of us, they charged us £5 each for tap water which is absurd. Something positive was the atmosphere, theres a nice warm feeing to it especially with the bedazzled lanterns that hang from the ceiling. The customer service was good with many staff always there if you need something. Onto the toilets, when I went to use the restroom I was met with the cardboard bit of the toilet smooshed into it, and what I can assume as period blood in it as well. I understand that the staff can’t get to it right away but from the time that I arrived to the time I was about to leave, it was still there even though the staff were informed about it. Overall yummy food, not so yummy prices or portions, good customer service, cute atmosphere, not so cute restrooms and an empty wallet

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter, who appeared to be of Indian origin, was very unprofessional and lacked proper communication skills. When I mentioned that the food was cold and not delicious, he completely ignored my feedback and did not make any effort to address the issue. The overall experience was frustrating, and I hope the management takes steps to improve both the quality of food and customer service.

First time visiting today i would highly recommend this restaurant the food was delicious and the owner was super attentive and sweet and made sure to ask if we enjoyed the food and gave us backlava on the house and came back to ask if we wanted more. Highly recommend this place.

A pesar de que el lugar no estaba lleno de gente, la persona que tomó nuestro pedido (que parecía ser el gerente) insistió en que pidieramos un plato adicional, citando el requisito de que los gastos de cada persona ascendieran a al menos £ 30. Esto se comunicó incluso antes de que termináramos de hacer nuestro pedido, incluidas las bebidas, que naturalmente habrían cumplido con el mínimo. Entendemos que la buena comida tiene un precio muy alto, pero también debe venir con un servicio excepcional y de calidad, que faltaban. La experiencia se sintió más como un ejercicio de ventas más que como una noche acogedora y agradable.

When we entered, the welcome was okay, but when we ordered our food, the manager, who was also waiting on our table, insisted that we order one more item. 🤔😡😠 Upon inquiring about the reason, he said this was because the order was meant to be £30 each. 😠🤔🙄 When asked why we needed to do this even though we didn't want to, he said it was supposed to be part of the fine-dining experience. 😒🙄🤔 We ordered one extra dish unnecessarily because we didn't want to go elsewhere at that point. 😔😞😟 The food was simply overpriced for extremely small quantities and average taste. 😠😡🤬 Also, we were served our main course on tiny plates. 🍽️🤏🤔 The drink we ordered felt like it was served in shot glasses. 🥃🤏🤔

Very welcoming staff; cosy atmosphere and amazing food. Would highly highly recommend if you’re looking for a comforting meal. Thank you to Emilio Malik for making us feel at home.

I don't care that it's in Mayfair, nothing justifies an £80 shisha (it costs them 20£ top). Its pure robbery for gullible khaleeji tourists. The shisha wasnt even great and karak chai was warm milk. We should have checked the reviews before I sat. We paid £120 for a shisha, a coffee and a tea!

We entered the restaurant and were warmly greeted by the lovely owner and a friendly worker, setting the tone for a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was filled with great vibes, and the service was impressively quick. The food was exquisite—each dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. We also had a delightful time chatting with the owner, who made our visit even more special. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place!

Lazeez was a delicious and delightful break after a busy day in London. Smooth, nutty hummus, crisp cucumber salad, and the 100% best calamari we've had. Kunafa, a lightly sweet cake with melted cheese, served with a refreshing honey brickle ice cream. Lovely staff as well. Visit Lazeeza!!

Food is amazing and fresh , the service is spot on and fast . We spoke with the waiter and waitress who are extremely polite as well as the owner himself. The atmosphere and decor is astonishing. They also have blankets , cushions and heaters.

Not value for money. It's £48 for a 2 person "sharing board" that literally is 4 tiny chicken wings, 2 small sausages, 4 chunks of kebab and 4 slices of kofta.... with a dollop of hummus in the middle and 4 thin slices of pitta. That is just enough for 1 person, the price is ludicrous. I went with a friend and we also ordered some falafels (3 pieces) and cheese pastries (3 small pieces), a pot of tea... the bill came to nearly £100 and we weren't full. They also overcharged us for an item we didn't order and the service was poor. The chefs and staff were eating dinner on another table whilst the guests were waiting for service which seemed odd. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I've visited this place a few times and it's always been a great experience. The first time I visited, the owner personally helped us in because my aunt had a pram and we found the food delicious. I've visited again and the food is great as always. The location adds to the atmosphere. It's a great place for lunch, dinner or light food across the day. I'd definitely recommend it and I'll be visiting again.

Just left there with my partner. Food was great, atmosphere was good and the service was great. Had the owner (I’m assuming) go round tables to make sure everyone was comfortable and the waiters were good, funny and also made good recommendations for my cocktail. Hummus was perfect. The owner is a lovely guy with impeccable wait staff- would highly recommend the chicken wings🙌 definitely would recommend- our waiter (I believe his name was Ibrahim) was amazing

We were on a weekend break to London and we came across this restaurant as we were going to selfridges. The man outside came across as very over powering and in your face but we were very hungry and said we would try it. I got a falafel salad that had 3 falafel which my husband requested 1 or 2 more as it was my main dish. He ordered a mix grill for 1 person and literally got 2 bits of very small pieces of meat, chicken and lamb and chicken wings. One piece of wet pitta bread was under it so we asked for more pitta. We ordered portion of chips to share.. That was literally all and a jug of tap water. The service was terrible from no cutlery and then not bringing food together and then giving dessert menus while we were still eating mains. Bringing tea again while we were eating. The bill came to £70 this is including a £9 service charge. This was absolute rip off when I think I was only supposed to receive 3 falafel and my husbands meat was miserable, enough for a childs portion. I have to post this review as we believe it is a terrible trap for tourists just outside selfridges. We should have checked the reviews first which are really not great. This restaurant really needs to review their food and also their service to customers. The guy outside should probably stop some talking and review how they do food and training for his staff

Food was amazing. Definitely one of the most delicious and high quality food you could ever have. I recommend the shish tawouq and the manaqesh cheese and zaatar. Staff was extremely friendly and nice. Their shisha was very good although a bit on the pricey end. Definitely recommend and will be back. 10/10 restaurant.

We were really craving Lebanese and were very lucky that this place caught our eye otherwise we would've just settled for something else. We were so well looked after, the dishes were yummy, they had the cocktails we wanted, and Ibrahim was very kind and gave us some mint tea and baklava and that was simply the cherry on top of an incredible meal. Amazing service from Ibrahim who did his best to make us comfortable and happy. Assisted by Rawan, they served us the nice food with a constant welcoming smile. The Chef was also welcoming and addressed us in person for our feedback. If it wasn't for Ibrahim we would have left the restaurant due to rude attitude from the owner while trying to accomodate us in as a big group. Good Job Ibrahim, Rawan and Chef. As for the owner I believe he needs to familiarize himself more with customer service and excellency standards and practice. Just to be transparent, the food is genuine, except for vine leaves and the sambosak which was tasty but hard. The portions are very small and i mean really very small in a shocking way regardless of the price which is also high.

The most amazing little spot in London. Such friendly and caring service from the staff and the food is to die for. Traditional Lebanese food cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is also so calming. Loved here and would recommend to everyone !!

We chose this place out of hundreds of options and couldn’t have been happier! We sat outside which was perfect because of the canopy covering us from the rain. The food was amazing and all the staff were so friendly, so polite and so welcoming. 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat and can’t wait to return

The food and service was quite good but we got charged £36 for 2x tea which was significantly more than the shrimp. It makes no sense. The tea certainly dampened my experience- it seems as if they purposely didn’t put the prices of the tea in the menu to charge extra. I might be wrong and would like an explanation of why it was so pricey.

I recently dined at Lazeez with friends, conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Bond Street and next to Selfridges, and was thoroughly impressed. The staff provided exceptional service, being both attentive and knowledgeable. Every dish was fresh and flavourful, the chicken shawarma was excellent, and clearly using good quality meat. With a great variety of mocktails. Lazeez offered outstanding service, excellent quality food, and a delightful ambiance. Highly recommended.

The main dishes were bizarrely small and yet we were somehow overcharged. There are much better Lebanese restaurants to choose from. We should have read ratings first.

My wife and I were there yesterday. The food was good and not very delicious, but the shock was in the bill, which I attached to confirm. For the first time in the 7 days I spent in London, I did not get even a third of this price, not half of it. The bill was close to 800 riyals for two people😳. The orders are separate and very simple, such as fries, rice, and hummus, but the prices are high compared to the small plate I do not recall any other restaurant putting a service charge on the bill. In addition, one of them was impolite in looking at women, and it bothered me very much.

Overall poor experience. Prices are not meeting food quality. Taste of food is very average, closer to poor. I can say - it is eatable, but not more. For the prices charged you may get much better taste.

I had the pleasure of dining at Lazeez for an early dinner over the bank holiday weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. A big thank you to Emilio and the team for providing an absolutely delicious meal. We started with crispy falafels, creamy homemade houmous, and perfectly grilled halloumi, all served with warm Lebanese bread. Each bite was delightful. For the main course, we had the chicken shish and fries. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the fries were crispy and golden. We ended our meal with refreshing mint tea and sweet, flaky baklavas. By the end, we were thoroughly satisfied. Located outside Selfridges, it’s a great spot for tasty food and people-watching. With excellent food and friendly service, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area.

Highly disappointed with the food. I feel that this place is a tourist trap. Food is less than average and prices are high compared to the quality. The toilets are not clean and they dont even have tissues or a working hand dryer. The only good thing about the place is the staff who are very kind and nice.

Saw this place on Instagram so me and my mrs thought we would try it out. Other than parking being an issue we managed to find the place fairly easily. Upon arrival we requested a table outdoors as the weather was nice however they only had 3 tables outside which were occupied, and apparently the other 6 tables that were empty were for smoking only (not sure why we couldn’t sit there to eat). Anyway we ended up sitting inside and ordered our food, which was lovely. Lots of flavour, decent portion sizes and drinks were nice too. The only thing we noticed was the lamb was undercooked as from inside was slightly raw and soft, so would just check this beforehand. Other than that great place, nice food and would recommend if you are in the area.

Not good food. Unprofessional service. My wife and I had lunch. They brought her order and were late with my order, so I asked her to eat so that the food would not get cold. When they brought my order, the bread was cold, and the waiter went to bring the bread. He was late, so the chicken dish was cold. The restaurant was not crowded, and the prices were higher than neighboring restaurants.

Found this place by chance and so glad we did. Food was delicious and the service was great! We were served by Swati and Sultan. We ordered a meat platter and a veggie platter and that was enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were kind enough to give us some baklava too which we all really enjoyed. Highly recommend

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Total rip off for money, no value, deeply regret coming here. Extremely expensive and not worth it, ordered for a family of four and the platter was £42 for sharing yet it came and was made for just one person, total rip off and service charge was ridiculous when we had such poor customer service throughout, never been so disappointed ever.
