Went there with my children great food and service very nice venue

i have been visiting lazeez for last 3 years, the service and food is always top notch!!!!

The food was so delicious! I really recommend going there, and also the service was great.

Trip to selfridges is incomplete without a visit to lazeez.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The soft lighting, tasteful decor, and comfortable seating made it the perfect place to unwind. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive. They were quick to answer any questions about the menu, made great recommendations, and ensured that my glass was always filled. I never had to wait long for anything, and they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Oh my goodness, it was a culinary delight! Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the main course and even the dessert, every bite was a symphony of tastes. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and it was clear that the chefs took great pride in their work.

Wonderful service and food. A great find in Mayfair and had a really enjoyable evening.

I have visited it once. We chose the hummus board, the fattoush salad, the mixed grill board, and the Arabic tea. The hummus was excellent, very flavorful, and the salad was refreshing. However, the platter with the meats was disappointing because the meat was very dry and tough. The tea was okay, while the dessert was very tasty. The staff was helpful and polite, and although the space was small, it was well-maintained. Finally, the prices were quite high given the portion sizes and quality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, nor would I return.

After a day of shopping at Selfridges, we stumbled upon Lazeez Tapas, and it was the perfect end to a great day! The hospitality here is second to none – the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The mix of Middle Eastern tapas offered a variety of tastes that were all fresh and delicious. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation of every bite. We were also thrilled to find such an excellent halal dining option in central London. The combination of impeccable service, mouth-watering food, and a relaxed ambiance makes Lazeez Tapas a must-visit. Highly recommend it!!!

I have been a regular customer of Lazeez for the past 5 years. Food is fantastic , the authentic atmosphere . One of my favourite restaurants in Central London and perfect if you want to shop first as its directly opposite Selfridges .

Portions very small for the price. Food quite tasty but nothing special. Drinks expensive, we didn't bother, even the soft drinks andctea and coffee. Restaurant a bit chilly considering small and cosy.

I only went in for a quick snack after a lovely self-care day out in London. In the end, I ended up staying for over 4 hours. I was treated with so much care, kindness and great company by the owner “Emilio” and his staff - in particular Ibrahem. The food was spectacular and their Karak chai is a must try! I used to go there over 10 years ago when I used to live in London and I’m glad things haven’t changed since!

Cosy atmosphere, nice staff, amazing food. Lazeez is located in a corner behind Selfridges, an ideal location for this Mediterranean and exquisite cuisine, authentic and delicious food.

The general manager/person in charge of the staff was very friendly and kind and paid the utmost attention to our table, making sure everything came out on time and that everything was to our liking. The food itself was excellent, particularly the hummus. The atmosphere of the restaurant very nice too.

Extremely disappointing experience. The portions here are ridiculously small—more like starter sizes—and definitely not worth the price. To make things worse, the bread was served cold, and the few fries I that came with the dish felt like an afterthought. For the premium cost, I expected much better quality and service. Definitely not worth it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The prices are very high and do not match the quality of the food and the place

I had a disappointing experience despite the food being good. The kitchen was still open before 10 PM, but the staff refused to accommodate us. Additionally, they wouldn’t allow us to eat chicken shawarma inside or outside, which felt unreasonable. The staff were unprofessional and didn’t handle the situation well. Overall, poor service overshadowed the quality of the food.

Lovely Lebanese tapas and super friendly staff! Very tasty food - they accepted our little dog and made us feel welcomed. Only recommendation would be for the salad dishes to be bigger as portions were quite small. Thanks for treating us to fresh peppermint tea and baclava bites.

Had very disappointing experience at Lazeez. Staff was not attentive , even after asking for plain tap water twice we were never offered anything and we left without getting water to drink . We had ordered sharer for two platter of humous meat board platter , the quantity was so meagre literally there was no meat for two for 39 pounds ( attached is the bill below ) . We ordered 8 pounds saffron rice and falafel for 14 pounds . The entire meal we got for 72 pounds for two is attached here . Even though taste is okay , the quantity is worse than taster menu , leaving you underfilled and unsatisfactory ... does not recommend going to this place

The food is lovely , the staff are amazing but the price doesn’t match up to the portion sizes . The calamari cost £17.50 and I was given three? THREE ,that’s 5.83 EACH, and I ordered a 54.50pound mixed grill for two and all that came out was mixed meats on a mini chopping board AND not to mention the 6.50 I paid for a coke!!!!!! I spent £113.00 and wasn’t even full by the time I left ; you are better off going to wagamamas round the corner or getting your food in the selfridges across the street! Absolute rip off if you ask me ! They got an extra star because the waitress was lovely. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt , rent is due when you are located next to a store as established as Selfridges but you won’t get as far as them if you keep extorting your customers!!!!

The food was bad. The restaurant was very cold and lacked ambiance. There was also a hair in the food. They didn’t charge for that one but it’s still off putting. Unfortunately not a good experience.

We were unable to consume anything because the owner definitely kicked us out of his place. When we arrived the waiter sat us at a table and we were able to have our drink. After waiting for half an hour to be served, the owner kept going around next to us and clearing the tables to make us uncomfortable, telling us that he was closing in half an hour. Okay, the thing is that after another 15 minutes he came back saying that it was not possible to serve us the drink because they were very busy inside and that if we wanted to go to another café because they were going to take so long, right in our faces. Well, we knew that he just wanted to kick us out of the place but we played dumb and left. But I would like to write my experience here so that it doesn't happen to someone else. Because the truth is that it makes us feel very bad and he made us waste our time waiting. Where at the beginning he could tell us that he was going to close and that he wasn't serving anymore. And we wouldn't have wasted our time waiting and we would have gone somewhere else. In the end he put us off and we went home.

I have no idea why some people lower reviews because this food was mind blowing. And the host was welcoming. I felt like I was at my grandfathers house! I’d come back here every time I come to London. We ordered 3 dishes and everything was as good as my grandfathers homemade Lebanese cooking

I would never come to this establishment ever again. The food was good but definitely not worth the price, for example I ordered a cheesecake for £12 and I received a singular slither of cake. It was absolutely tiny and thin! The cheesecake was good I must admit but £12 is crazy. When I asked for tap water for the two of us, they charged us £5 each for tap water which is absurd. Something positive was the atmosphere, theres a nice warm feeing to it especially with the bedazzled lanterns that hang from the ceiling. The customer service was good with many staff always there if you need something. Onto the toilets, when I went to use the restroom I was met with the cardboard bit of the toilet smooshed into it, and what I can assume as period blood in it as well. I understand that the staff can’t get to it right away but from the time that I arrived to the time I was about to leave, it was still there even though the staff were informed about it. Overall yummy food, not so yummy prices or portions, good customer service, cute atmosphere, not so cute restrooms and an empty wallet

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter, who appeared to be of Indian origin, was very unprofessional and lacked proper communication skills. When I mentioned that the food was cold and not delicious, he completely ignored my feedback and did not make any effort to address the issue. The overall experience was frustrating, and I hope the management takes steps to improve both the quality of food and customer service.

Below average overpriced food .

We thought we would try this place as we were passing as we love Lebanese food. This place was a complete disappointment. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive all our food arrives at different times so we couldn't enjoy our food together. The food was served in tiny plates and is extremely overpriced for the quality of food. This really is NOT authentic Lebanese food. Please don't waste your money here.

First time visiting today i would highly recommend this restaurant the food was delicious and the owner was super attentive and sweet and made sure to ask if we enjoyed the food and gave us backlava on the house and came back to ask if we wanted more. Highly recommend this place.

Visitamos este restaurante para cenar durante el fin de semana, pero por desgracia, nuestra experiencia se quedó muy lejos de las expectativas. A pesar de que el lugar no estaba lleno de gente, la persona que tomó nuestro pedido (que parecía ser el gerente) insistió en que pidieramos un plato adicional, citando el requisito de que los gastos de cada persona ascendieran a al menos £ 30. Esto se comunicó incluso antes de que termináramos de hacer nuestro pedido, incluidas las bebidas, que naturalmente habrían cumplido con el mínimo. Cuando cuestionamos esta política, nos dijeron que era parte de la “experiencia de buena comida”. Sintiéndonos presionados, a regañadientes añadimos otro arrancador para evitar más molestias. When we entered, the welcome was okay, but when we ordered our food, the manager, who was also waiting on our table, insisted that we order one more item. 🤔😡😠 Upon inquiring about the reason, he said this was because the order was meant to be £30 each. 😠🤔🙄 When asked why we needed to do this even though we didn't want to, he said it was supposed to be part of the fine-dining experience. 😒🙄🤔 We ordered one extra dish unnecessarily because we didn't want to go elsewhere at that point. 😔😞😟 The food was simply overpriced for extremely small quantities and average taste. 😠😡🤬 Also, we were served our main course on tiny plates. 🍽️🤏🤔 The drink we ordered felt like it was served in shot glasses. 🥃🤏🤔

I don't care that it's in Mayfair, nothing justifies an £80 shisha (it costs them 20£ top). Its pure robbery for gullible khaleeji tourists. The shisha wasnt even great and karak chai was warm milk. We should have checked the reviews before I sat. We paid £120 for a shisha, a coffee and a tea!

Lazeez was a delicious and delightful break after a busy day in London. Smooth, nutty hummus, crisp cucumber salad, and the 100% best calamari we've had. Kunafa, a lightly sweet cake with melted cheese, served with a refreshing honey brickle ice cream. Lovely staff as well. Visit Lazeeza!!

Food is amazing and fresh , the service is spot on and fast . We spoke with the waiter and waitress who are extremely polite as well as the owner himself. The atmosphere and decor is astonishing. They also have blankets , cushions and heaters.

Not value for money. It's £48 for a 2 person "sharing board" that literally is 4 tiny chicken wings, 2 small sausages, 4 chunks of kebab and 4 slices of kofta.... with a dollop of hummus in the middle and 4 thin slices of pitta. That is just enough for 1 person, the price is ludicrous. I went with a friend and we also ordered some falafels (3 pieces) and cheese pastries (3 small pieces), a pot of tea... the bill came to nearly £100 and we weren't full. They also overcharged us for an item we didn't order and the service was poor. The chefs and staff were eating dinner on another table whilst the guests were waiting for service which seemed odd. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I've visited this place a few times and it's always been a great experience. The first time I visited, the owner personally helped us in because my aunt had a pram and we found the food delicious. I've visited again and the food is great as always. The location adds to the atmosphere. It's a great place for lunch, dinner or light food across the day. I'd definitely recommend it and I'll be visiting again.

Just left there with my partner. Food was great, atmosphere was good and the service was great. Had the owner (I’m assuming) go round tables to make sure everyone was comfortable and the waiters were good, funny and also made good recommendations for my cocktail. Fabulous food with great service and very attentive staff

We were on a weekend break to London and we came across this restaurant as we were going to selfridges. The man outside came across as very over powering and in your face but we were very hungry and said we would try it. I got a falafel salad that had 3 falafel which my husband requested 1 or 2 more as it was my main dish. He ordered a mix grill for 1 person and literally got 2 bits of very small pieces of meat, chicken and lamb and chicken wings. One piece of wet pitta bread was under it so we asked for more pitta. We ordered portion of chips to share.. That was literally all and a jug of tap water. The service was terrible from no cutlery and then not bringing food together and then giving dessert menus while we were still eating mains. Bringing tea again while we were eating. The bill came to £70 this is including a £9 service charge. This was absolute rip off when I think I was only supposed to receive 3 falafel and my husbands meat was miserable, enough for a childs portion. I have to post this review as we believe it is a terrible trap for tourists just outside selfridges. We should have checked the reviews first which are really not great. This restaurant really needs to review their food and also their service to customers. The guy outside should probably stop some talking and review how they do food and training for his staff

Food was amazing. Definitely one of the most delicious and high quality food you could ever have. I recommend the shish tawouq and the manaqesh cheese and zaatar. Staff was extremely friendly and nice. Their shisha was very good although a bit on the pricey end. Definitely recommend and will be back. 10/10 restaurant.
