Pitta Corner London in Haringey

I have ordered an item and they brought me a totally different item. I asked my food to be changed to what i ordered and i was told that was unable to change as they already cooked it. Make sure you like everything from they’re menu as when you order you might get a random meal and if they finished cooking it they won’t change it

The few times I tried, gyros was good and staff were attentive. What is really a specialty is lamb head or kokoretsi which is delicious if fresh. The shop is not decorated excessively and looks like an everyday gyros place you can find in Greece. I believe owners are Albanian/Greek and staff speak either/both languages.

Food was nice but a little over priced

We always have the Gyros whenever we drop by as, unfortunately, our appetite barely allow us to eat anything bigger, but the rest of the people there can usually be seen with big portions and a happy smile, and we have always found the food tasty and the prices reasonable. But a huge extra that has always rounded up the experience is their friendly and attentive service: from the moment you enter till you leave and all throughout they make sure you are happy and served. It does feel like something you can get used to when eating here, so kudos for that! Cristian

One of the best places to go and enjoy the food and to bring the real Greek Gyro near to you. I had to meet a friend who was 1 hour and 30 minutes away from where I live but was worth everything as soon as I tried the food 😍 Warm welcome and a very clean place.

Lovely people, the staff made sure we are ok from the start till the end, great table service. Good tasty food, big portions ( we got take away boxes and finish the rest at dinner at home). Nice atmosphere, outdoor sitting. Fair prices. Good range of beverage. Kids friendly. Well done for keeping your quality standards high. We will be coming back for sure.

Terrible experience , rude staff, average food quality , not recommending at all

The staff are selective of their customers and can make your experience a real nightmare, I would go as far as saying discriminatory and bullies from the get go.

Bizarre and rude experience with the young Greek waitress cackling like one the Stygian Witches on the edge of the Underworld after I responded in Greek to her greeting. I'm assuming it's because she's from Greece and my family are from Cyprus. I think she forgot that she's a waitress on minimum wage. It was so effective that I and a friend walked out and ended up having coffee and a delicious cake at another cafe. I've been going to Pitta Corner since it opened with family and a friend and the management have always been friendly. The food is good and they are generous. But it only takes one bad apple. When you work in hospitality, you are on the front line. People will judge the establishment by how the staff behave. And you know what they say? The customer is always right. They have the power to take their money and their custom elsewhere.

The food is good (if you're a true carnivore) and it's always busy. But the first rule of business is to treat your customers with respect because they don't eat there for free. After arriving for coffee with a friend, the young Greek waitress greeted us and I responded in Greek. The next thing I heard was her and another waitress cackling like the Stygian Witches around a cauldron. It was incredibly rude and I went off the coffee. To be fair, she did once say: "You can eat or not eat. I don't care" We got up and walked out. And we won't be going back unless it's to visit the Underworld.

the taste is very satisfactory friendly staff I would like to go back

very uncomfortable, staff kept staring & avoiding serving us…pretty sure they’re racist or prejudice of some sort, just can’t think as to why me and my friend were made to feel very othered lol but yeah even besides the discomfort the food was criminal. The wrap was barely put together, the chips were half cooked. Just seemed like they wanted us out and we were definitely overcharged but just wanted to be out of there. Would not recommend.

This is my most favourite local place to eat kebab/gyros. The food is amazing and the portions unbelievable. Go and try it.

Exquisite, delicious Greek food. I had lamb chops which were a feast. Lamb ribs and juicy meat. Half chicken was delicious too, mustard marinade. Rib eye steak looked incredible, I didn't get to try because it got eaten so fast. Will definitely go again, this was a hidden gem. Service was very good too. Red wine complimented the meal entirely.

I don't understand this place. Yesterday I have been there and ordered a latte coffee. Two girls there made me a coffee and they charged me £7.50. and also the coffee quality was very bad and I throwed in the been.

Arrived at table at 12.30pm. Ordered food and drinks at 12.40 was still waiting for our food at 13.10pm waiter came out and told us he forgot to put our food order through so we went to pay for a can of coke (advertised as a bottle) and a tea which came to £4 total waste of time and money.

I ordered pitta skepasti and I found hair. Disgusting and awful.

Skepasti is reasonably price and really tasty. Would recommend to get with ‘sauce’ rather than tzatziki.

Nice food. Big portions worth the prices but sells like a Greek shop and almost constantly plays Albanian music very loudly. It can at least say Greek and Albanian restaurant from the outside.

Went there a few weeks ago. The staff were great, I have absolutely no complaint about them, it’s just that the food (especially the gyros) was so oily. Place felt overcrowded as well.

Great flavours and big portions! The “skepasti” with chicken gyros was well prepared, rich in flavour, comes wit french fries with cheese. 9/10 On the other hand, the lamp chops was a bit dry to my taste, not as good as Turkish restaurants. Visit again? Definitely YES

Worst wrap I had in a while. Only the pita was fine, but the lamb meat was very hard to chew and had a big cartilage among the pieces, the fries really were only there to create volume, but were all super greasy and not crispy. There was a big piece of tasteless tomato, probably to create volume together with the fries.

1st time I went,the staff gave me something to nibble on as nothing on the menu I could have Amazing staff and always friendly So coffee when ever I can

Ordered a Chicken Burger and Chips, it was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the Pork Gyro. Was fantastic, will definitely be coming again.

A major red flag about this place is the fact that everywhere appears to be dirty especially the toilets. I had to use the toilet and almost slipped due to the dirty water that was spilled there. Also poor service by the staff. I wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Very tasty lamb and hallumi wraps and friendly customer service! The only thing is that I wish they would have some vegan wraps options on the menu so my friends could enjoy them as well.

We ordered the half chicken Merida from Pita corner and it was disgraceful. Chicken smelled and tasted off and was hard like a brick. The portion comes with chips and salad according to the menu but literally they put 5 fries 2 tomatoes and lettuce which is obviously not chips and salad! It came with pita which was also brick hard and i had to throw the whole thing away. Will not be ordering again.

As soon as we seat down Fiorina was there to helped us deciding some lunch , she’s just amazing , thank you very much Fiorina , also very good food will definitely return .

I’ve been there to order take away and while I was waiting I saw many bad things. the lady was cleaning the oily station with chemicals than she was called to help on food, WITH THE SAME GLOVES she started grabbing the food and prepare it! The other whipping dirt with the yellow clove and again hands in the people’s food! Really nobody is watching this ? People can get really sick!

Chips were to die for, lovely big portions, fluffy bread and really good value. Will be back.

The food isn’t great, it’s edible but that’s as far as I can go. Too expensive for what it is. Chips were soggy. I was told I’d get a salad but all I got was tomato and onions. Unfortunately I won’t go back. They get moody with you when you rush them with your order. I was told 15 minutes I waited 30. Uber seem to take president.

Great food, fresh, authentic, generous portions, really fast to prepare.

Popped in on the off-chance at lunchtime. Just asked for a lunch box for 1 with some lamb meat and salad. Got sold a box of old, dry lamb meat with old, dry chips, some tomato slices and old, dry bread. Basically a plate full of leftovers. For £15. Not coming back.

I've just came from Manchester to London and they recommended that place to eat I order gyro souvlaki I haven't ate at all day and they gave me gyro kalamaki. So I'm not gone order anymore from that place. I called them.as well and they didn't pick up the phone.

The food was tender and beautiful we really enjoyed it. I gave 3 stars because unfortunately we was given the wrong dessert it was a horrible end to my birthday celebration The second time we ordered the food was fresh tender absolutely amazing, the garnish made all the difference brilliant thank you so much. I got a phone call saying they didn’t have the dessert we ordered they asked us if we would like something else or our money back. We really appreciated the phone call thank you so much the sweet pancake was absolutely amazing. You definitely deserve 5* thank you to everyone at pitta corner we will order again soon The salted crepe is advised with ham, cheese and tomato we received something different very disappointing We placed a order for 1pm delivery, 2:30pm still no food apparently they couldn’t get a driver. We pre booked the food they had more then enough time to get everything sorted we was very disappointed. No phone call to say they are running late or anything. We will not be ordering from pitta corner again. I do not recommend

Mediocre service, mediocre meat, hot drinks, not an ideal environment for families in the afternoon, at least when we went and definitely very expensive. When you go out you smell like Easter Sunday (goosebumps from top to bottom) because of bad ventilation I guess. Amazingly impressive that it is constantly full
