The best restaurants serving Italian food in Scotland

Disappointed as i know the restaurant can do better. We were a large table of 16 on a busy evening but we were extremely disappointed with the service we received. We were in the restaurant for well over two hours and in that time all we had was a main course and one round of drinks. We asked to order more drinks but the waitress never came back to take our order and we weren't even offered the dessert menu. It took over an hour from placing our food order to the food starting to come out and by the time the last of us were served our meals some of us had finished, just as well really as if they'd waited till we were all served, their meals would have been cold. We weren't asked how our meals were till we'd all stopped eating which by then is a bit late to be asking. Hopefully our next experience will be much better.

Been here a few times. Great pizza and well priced for the city centre. On street, paid parking which is limited.

I've seen this place in passing multiple times, but that was a mistake, I should have been going in here, it was fantastic. The decor is peak design.

Con un precio de poco menos de 7 / -, llegaron después de una espera de casi 25 minutos. La camarera mayor que nos atendió se disculpó por el retraso y nos metimos. Oh querido. Ambos platos estaban saturados de especias y tenían suficiente aceite flotante para atraer la atención de los Estados Unidos. El desequilibrio fue exagerado, pero no teníamos otra opción dada la limitada hora del almuerzo, así que comimos todo en un sufrimiento silencioso. Mi esófago y mi intestino sintieron el ardor de las especias mucho después. Igualmente malas fueron las paranthas, que eran paranthas congeladas de la marca 'shaana' compradas en la tienda que se calentaron y nos sirvieron. Inmediatamente los reconocimos haberlos tenido antes. Y tampoco eran de la mejor calidad. A mitad de la comida, notamos que no había señales del acompañamiento de yogur con el plato de parantha - garbanzos. La camarera se disculpó nuevamente y nos trajo una pequeña taza que contenía una cucharada de lo que parecían excrementos de paloma. Esta fue la 'Raitha'. Lo dejamos disgustado, concluimos una experiencia de comida miserable en un restaurante que tenía muchas esperanzas, dado el cambio en la administración. . . E izquierda. Podría hacer la comida para llevar Dosa nuevamente, ocasionalmente, pero de lo contrario, nunca volveré a comer aquí.

Just wow! Not very often I clear my plate but that was exceptional. Big breakfast was amazing. Wish I lived closer, I will definitely be back every time I’m close.

Nothing 'authentic'. Very sad. Ordered spaghetti bolonese as a childhood treat. Tasted like it was from a tin.. I did, at least, get that childhood experience. Insulting to true Italian cooking. Sorry But that's the truth on this occasion.

Excellent meal in comfortable surroundings. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend !

Best Italian pizza in south glasgow

We waited half an hour when the restaurant was completely dead for them to bring a pitifully small overprice wrap over. When we complained the supervisor just argued with us and offered no apologies. We sent the food back and went to MacTassos where portions were bigger, the service was instant and it was much cheaper!

Had lunch with friends and we all enjoyed the meal

Been to Di Maggios multiple times over years both the resturant and takeaway. Tonight we ordered two takeaway pizzas. One was salami. There was five small pieces of salami not even one piece per slice. Very poor.
