The food tastes good, but the portions are clearly too small. A £14 portion of pasta definitely won't fill you up.

Kind and efficient service, lovely bayside view, and good classic thin crust pizza! We were pleasantly surprised as we walked in on a busy Friday evening without a booking and got a table within minutes. Our order was taken shortly, the drinks arrived swiftly, and our pizzas soon after. My husband enjoyed his pizza Diavola with extra fresh chillis and Nduja sausage while I was very satisfied with my choice of the Scorzesse pizza with mushrooms and smoked salmon. Affordable prices and all in all a great experience!

Food was great. The focaccia was to die for, even ordered more to take away. The service and location are great to!

Excellent Italian food! We got the linguini, chicken sandwich and the Chiete pizza and they were all delicious. The cinnamon waffle was my favourite. The service was very quick and the food was hot and fresh. I would definitely go here again.

Really nice food, well worth the money

Great food and service, the pizza and fish were delicious and the staff so accommodating. Make sure you check the opening times as they do close between lunch and dinner service and we almost missed out 😊 the view is also spectacular from the tables!

The restaurant has a great view, is clean, and has a stylish decor. The staff were kind and accommodating. There were a few drinks that weren't available, so we were given replacements. This is fine, but they should have asked first. The food wasn't memorable, but it wasn't bad either. I would probably try something new rather than go back if I'm in Oban again.

The pizza was very soggy. Probably they bought it frozen and top with whatever veggies. The pasta 16 pounds, quality of a Tesco meal deal. The Sky beer was good. The waiters are really kind.

Fantastic food. Had cheesy garlic bread to start (shared) followed by the Chicken tagliatelle with creamy chive sauce. Had a taste of my husband's tiramasu and it was delicious.

Lovely spot, shame the food doesn't match the view. Pizza base obviously not freshly prepared. It was doughy (though clearly not fresh dough or baked in a pizza oven) and unappetising. The spaghetti with creamy mushroom sauce with smoked salmon and additional prawns had no salmon to be seen. Service very good though and very accommodating.

Me and my partner visited Oban and found this place on our first night there. We had a fantastic time, we were especially happy with the atmosphere, it was nice and lively but you could have a clear conversation at low volume, perfect for us. All the food was delicious and came quickly, they also serve Skye Gold, a great Scottish beer. The menu also clearly describes the different kinds of pasta which is much appreciated! The location is fantastic and offers great views of the harbour and the ocean. We were also very happy the prices, our bill came to around £40 per head, which for starters, mains + sides, desserts and drinks is very fair!!

Came for lunch with friends without a booking on a Sunday lunchtime, staff very welcoming and friendly. We had some unusual dietary requests which were met with efficiency and courtesy and the food was very good indeed. Would certainly recommend. Thank you for a good experience.!

The location is beautiful, the staff were lovely and friendly but the food was disappointing! Pasta was bland and looked and tasted like frozen pre cut chicken. The crab was also tasteless. We were in and out within 40 mins. Perhaps just an off night as our experience is very different from the other reviews for the food quality.

Very busy but service was very good, food was delicious and very reasonably priced, will be back when next in Oban.

I and granny had our evening meal at this lovely place and fully enjoyed the whole experience even though the atmosphere was a bit noisy however it didn't stop us from enjoying our meals here. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant on a busy night especially the manager. He was extremely nice to us even though the restaurant itself is booked up he had gone the extra mile and accommodated us with a Table. Food was absolutely superb, good value and good choices. Portions could have been bigger, but nevertheless, very enjoyable. Beef cannelloni was excellent. Tiramisu is not to be missed!

For casual dining this place is the most comfortable high quality option around. Being on the pier overlooking the open waters it’s a real beauty.

I found OBAN completely inaccessible for a wheelchair, however, this lovely restaurant is not only accessible but very very professional and courteous. I arrived five minutes before closing and the waiter was amazing and they fitted us in and we had a wonderful meal. The cannelloni was to die for and the Caesar salad was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant. PS YEAH CAPPUCCINO IS GOOD AS WELL

What a nice place to visit. The food was really nice, we had Linguine al Salmone and Linguine Pollo alla Aglio, both dishes was really nice The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant had its windows nicely lit up and it all made for a nice time.

Wish we could actually say what the food was like but despite no one else waiting at the door for a table, the woman ignored us completely and kept writing away. We then went outside and tried phoning... Phone kept being disconnected after a few rings. Appreciate it was a busy night in Oban and that although restaurant had literally opened for evening service it might have been fully booked although all the tables were empty downstairs apart from 2. That's fine but with that level of customer service..eh our money can go elsewhere.

Food was terrible, pizzas are just frozen pre-bought items and the pasta dishes had to be sent back.

Visited with my family while on holiday. Pizza and chips so the kids enjoyed. My wife is vegetarian and I am vegan: options were extremely limited. No vegan friendly cheese so no pizza for me and no dedicated vegan options available on the menu. The Penne al Pomodoro plus side of fries for £14 was very sad with the fries being the only saving grace. Service was good & friendly. Overall: medium but in 2023 I’d expect a range of vegetation and vegan options on the menu.

Had a great meal at this restaurant last week, food was good and reasonable value for money. A wide selection of Pizza and Pasta and a selection of other dishes. Small wine list but enough choice to enjoy with dinner. Good service and busy enough to create some atmosphere.

Great spot by the water. Decor is a bit boring but the food was excellent. One of the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. They have basic options for past and pizza mostly but they seem to do it well. Service was good and efficient.

Very friendly service. It was a lively Friday night when we visited so noisy but just part of it. Probably much quieter on other nights. Prompt service, nice food, not overly priced, decent sized portions. Overall a relaxed experience with welcoming staff.

After doing our tour with the Oban Sea Tours this morning we stopped in for lunch before heading to Fort William. The service was incredible and we enjoyed hot drinks while warming up! Make sure to try the minestrone soup! It was perfect after a wet, cold tour on the water. The pizza was impressive and delicious! Atmosphere and service topped off an incredible experience!

Unlike their sister restaurant Ee-usk the service is not the same at all. I dont eat dairy and asked if they had Coconut Milk, Oat Milk or Soya Milk for my coffee by the time I got to Soya Milk I was cut off by the waitress and told NO just ordinary milk, quigte abrubtly. The pizza I had had no flavour at all and for an Italian restaurant that seemed strange to me. Nothing really very Italian about the restaurant. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner and saw others from our tour group going there, so we joined them. Nice views of the water from the restaurant. Our server was very personable, and the food came quickly. We ordered the Lasagna, which came with a small salad and was very good. Others ordered garlic bread and pizza and they enjoyed it. We were so full that we could not order dessert. I would recommend this restaurant. They accept reservations and I suggest you book a table. We were there early, and it was no issue, but as we left people were waiting for tables.

Had a lovely meal at Piazza - we weren't very hungry and wanted to save ourselves for the delicious looking deserts, so we had half size pizzas- they were very good! Followed by Tiramisu- enjoyed that, too! We liked the views over the harbor.

A really nice surprise with some to gluten free marks as well. A thoroughly enjoyed pizza and pasta lunch. We will stop again the next time in Oban.

Ate here on a busy Sunday eve with no reservation. The fantastic lady at front of house (possibly the boss?) happily showed us to a table upstairs with the best view! Our food was fantastic with very good service, I felt for the girls as it was very busy but they always had a smile on their faces and were really on the ball. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will 100% return. Will make sure I have a pudding next time!!! Many thanks guys!!!

Fast services for being very busy. Just has to ask of chilli flakes/black pepper and wasnt offed grated cheese. Could also have the option for virgin oil over the pizza. But lovely place in the harbour and nice food.

A very nice Italian restaurant on the North Pier in Oban Booking is recommended as it gets very busy

Below average food and service not great. Pizza base very thick and bready.. side salad had no dressing, service rushed and our drinks didn’t get served until after the starters had arrived.

My husband and I had made a reservation here for dinner. The pizza was good. The service was not so much, the waitress was young. She never came back to see if we needed anything. We had to flag her down.

Starter was nice enough, but once that was cleared away I was left to sit in the mostly empty upstairs for more than 40 minutes with no main arriving. Staff were dismissive of this. I paid up and left. Will not be returning.

Turned up without a reservation but we were able to get a table overlooking the bay. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a lovely meal with drinks but were very pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable bill. Can highly recommend if you are in the area.

Called for a meal on Saturday night while on holiday in Oban. We hadn’t booked but they accommodated us despite being busy. Had a lovely meal, we both had pasta dishes and desserts which were all good. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we weren’t sat too closely to other diners. Good experience and would recommend for a relaxed night out. Special thanks to the host who was very attentive.

Gutsy, intelligent, playful. Great artists often toe between genius and madman. The bolognese pizza is a spectacular marriage of both worlds, inspiring true joy. Customers may be thrown by Piazza's friendly accessible menu, but do not be fooled, true artists work behind the scenes. Yet as with many great artists, true recognition may not materialise for a long time to come. Bravo.

We went here for a couple of pizzas, didn't book but no problem. Staff and service were really great, friendly and helpful and meals came pretty quickly. Not the most Italian food I have ever had but pretty tasty and we would go back.

Four of us went on a very busy bank holiday Monday. I had a pizza. Everyone has different views on a good pizza. Personally I like a very thin crust and this was certainly not thin. Having said that the ambience and the views were spectacular. Our guests enjoyed themselves and I would be happy to go again. Prices were not outrageous.

This Italian restaurant is the best I’ve been to! All the staff are fantastic, knowledgeable, courteous, always around if you need them and so pleasant! The food is fabulously tasty, we’ve tried various dishes and never been disappointed. It really is imperative to book, especially during the summer months as we’ve seen so many people turned away and if they’re only staying a short while they’re going to miss out on a wonderful experience. We travel to Oban a couple of times a year and visit this restaurant each time. Just perfect!

We have had dinner here several times and have always been very satisfied with our various meals. Reservations are recommended, otherwise you may have to wait a while at the bar.

Visited with a group of friends , upstairs was like an oven and the service was average , forgot a few bits and drinks order was slow to come which was a shame as it was so hot upstairs . Food was average aswell inline with a prezzo or similar

Nice place with a view were they serve you great Italian food. They have nice and helpfull personel. Go there if you are in Oban.

Stood for 30 mins in the rain for our table....20 mins in we had to ask someone to take a drinks order...server of mains handed our plates across the table..had to ask 3 times for another round of drinks and had to ask for our table to be cleared....over £20 service charge was not paid

Excellent restaurant. Service and food are superb. Great location and prices. Only downside was having a table booked for 5.30pm but being made to wait outside till 5.30pm on the dot. A small thing in an otherwise superb meal out.

The service so bad and one of the girl said that "can't u see we are busy and full. So no place for you". That's just not nice. I been waiting for 15mnt standing no one greet. I'm a tourist it just put me off. Bad manners. 👎

Pizza was nice and the place seems busy which is a good sign I guess. Well priced given the portion sizes. Definitely worth dropping by if you fancy a pizza/pasta.

Great pizza with lots of excellent options to choose from. Amazing view of the harbour in a nice modern building. Nice change of options after a week of pubs and seafood!

Food was excellent but service was quite slow and felt like there were a lot of young heads running about a little, headless? Nothing wrong with hiring young staff but training is important and it did feel a little lacking.

It was our 3rd visit at this restaurant. We made our reservation via email and got a very nice response. Atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely, staff are very friendly what makes us customers feel comfortable. Food as always prepared fresh and delicious. For sure we will come back.
