Everything was goood pizza and service!

Delicious pizza. Great express lunch set and vegan options. Vegan Choco cake is also moist and decadent!

We ordered two pizza and only one was delivered, and it was not even one of the two pizzas we had ordered. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. Very disappointing.

My favourite pizza place in Glasgow:) They have delicious pizza, nice vibe and student discount! 😆 However, today’s tiramisu is too wet. 😢

Really nice place, staff lovely, really good food! Pizza is amazing! We also had dips, I had garlic and my partner had blue cheese. They were delicious! The Garlic dip is amazing! Extremely garlicky which is always what I'm looking for! So tasty! Loved it! £10 for a starter and a pizza - amazing value for money with the lunch deal!

First, the positives: Pizza was pretty decent. Place was bright and decor had some nice touches. Tad busy when we arrived (evening rush - totally to be expected) but even after it quietened down, the atmosphere - both the restaurant layout and staffs hurried behaviour - did give me the feeling that we were all being processed through some Italian themed industrial dinner hall factory. Main Gripe? (Certain) rude, dismissive bizarrely deceitful behaviour of certain staff members... ...Swapped out a topping from a pizza on the menu, when making an order, for a (cheaper) alt topping and told it would be no problem and would incur no extra charge, only to then inevitably charged for the changed topping an an extra topping by accident. Cut a long story short, when I politely chased this up with a certain young waitress they were frankly a little rude and dismissive, and claimed that it was restaurant policy that any changed toppings would charged as extra toppings. Luckily when yet another waitress came to collect our bill the matter was corrected. When I gently inquired whether Sanos had a policy on pizza where changed toppings would be charged as extra toppings, that waitress gave me a raised eyebrow and asked me why that would be the case. We were refunded our money over the topping and given an apology for the misunderstanding. It really was only a pizza topping, no big deal there, but I feel the principle of the issue is still worth raising: the attitude of the staff member in question was poor and the bizarre fib left a bit of a sour taste in our mouth's I'm afraid.

We had a lovely lunch at Sano before going to the movies. The staff were friendly and efficient, and best of all, very welcoming to our chatty 2 year old. We will be back.

I can’t understand who would serve a bruschetta with unseasoned tomatoes & DRIED HERBS. No sign of fresh basil… I don’t know who would sign off on that but it makes it comfortably the worst bruschetta I’ve ever had. (I was starving so swallowed it anyway) Diavola pizza was fine, whish I’d had time to buy a Tesco finest pizza to cook at home instead.

Pizza and staff lovely. My issue is charging £6 for a sundae which is just ice cream in a sundae glass topped with a tasteless sauce and no further ingredients. Definitely not the definition of a sundae and would advise anyone against wasting their money getting one. Thankfully the sundae was deducted from the bill but to even offer it in the first place is shameless.

Decent enough selection of pizza and toppings. Sides ok. Peroni red as default beer. Pretty expensive though, £14 odd quid for a pizza. Service helpful and friendly.

I was keytimes best customer... So I know a thing or two about pizza... Having lived in Italy etc and family italian.. Passeano is 10out of 10 This place with gain luca is11/10 better pizza. Atmosphere easier to park.... And the biggie one can talk and listen. Great owner and their tends to be a family member always there.. Paul's places.. Not same level of attention.. No need way too busy... This place in now #1... I miss a good Blackberry.. Tony.. & Phil. Xx

Great pizzas. Loads of garlic in the dip. Had a very nice side salad too. Especially liked the orchard pig cider.

Nice place for some authentic pizza and great options. Overall very pleased and the pizza was fantastic. The staff are friendly and willing to help, the restaurant itself is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Booking online is easy too and if it isn’t busy you can just walk in

Pizza’s are fantastic. Amazingly cooked with great ingredients. Definitely one of the best pizza’s in Glasgow and we have recommended to others. Service was initially quick but incorrect food was delivered and staff seemed to be missing when we wanted to point it out and order more drinks. Also slow to bring the bill.

First time trying Sano’s and I’m sorry to say I won’t be back. Nearly £17 for a takeaway pizza which was a horrible soggy mess, the bulk of which ended up in the bin. Very disappointing.

On our short trip to Glasgow, our friend took us there for lunch. What an amazing place. Great atmosphere, great service, great food and drink. Not rushed to leave as it started to get busy, we were there all afternoon.

Brilliant pizza, so much choice for vegans and gluten free. Fantastic service and a great buzz. Back time and time.

NONE of staff over 25,must ave big turnover;burnout.Asked for thin base & little or no crust,said couldn't do it.The Crustinator cut off crust&made a log cabin,the partner.Still looking for perfect Pizza,like one I got in Rimini,this place is not it.

Sano currently have branches in Dublin, Cork and Glasgow and I’m most grateful we Glaswegians now get to experience some truly fabulous pizza. It’s Neapolitan simplicity but with delicious sugo and really fantastic flavour. I haven’t had pizza this good in a long time. Whilst other chains rest on their laurels Sano has stepped up. The restaurant itself is warm, open and relaxed. Never overcrowded and service is efficient. Location slap bang in the middle of the Finnieston strip so maybe call ahead on potentially busier nights. Lots of great deals on collection tho. A solid five star performance and highly recommended!

Belle ambiance, staff sympathique et bonnes pizza a prix raisonnable. Et my god on a été plusieurs fois déçu par les pizzas au Nutella, mais là ils doivent vider un pot complet dessus. Si vous n'avez jamais essayé, c'est la place ou essayer.

Best pizza I've tried in Glasgow. I had the number 3 that has spicy honey and it was gorgeous, not too doughy and the crust was light and crispy. Lovely staff, great service and a 20 percent student discount. Easy 5 stars

It's a lovely place to have nice pizzas. I live very close to Sano so it's convenient for me to have pizza whenever I feel like it. I have tried the mushroom pizza and it was quite delicious. The portion was big and the mushroom pairs well with the cured meat on the pizza. I will definitely try more flavours soon. Overall, I would recommend Sano pizza if you are looking for a good pizza place in Finnieston.

Visited with a friend, no wait for a table on a Tuesday night but the place wasn't exactly empty either. The pizza is delicious (my friend says the gluten free base is also great) and the menu is very reasonable. The prices are also very reasonable considering the restaurant is right in the middle of Finnieston, and perhaps most importantly their staff seem to be happy there.

There was a group of 12 of us, some just wanting drinks which staff said was fine. We weren’t informed that the bill could only be split 5 ways (which is a bit weird?). Apparently it’s on the menu and is above the waitresses pay grade. Would be good if staff could verbally let larger groups know before ordering. Someone in our group ended up paying for all our drinks which is a bit awkward on a works night out, the group just wanting drinks could have just gone elsewhere if we knew it would cause an issue. Foccacia pizza was dreadful, dry flavourless and nothing like focaccia. Actual pizza’s were ok, Parma ham one looked good but not really worth the hassle to be honest.

Pretty good pizza! I had the Nduja and sausage pizza and it was amazing! Slightly expensive at £13, but was worth it. Wish they done a lunch offer as £18 for a couple of cokes and a pizza is rather expensive for a mid-day meal.

If you are looking for a real Italian pizza in Glasgow, Sano is what you are looking for! I felt as I was back in Italy again, the quality of the products, the dough.. everything was perfect. And it seems that Monsieur Chat passed by to decorate all the walls. It has been great to stop by. Thanks!

We popped in for a late night pizza. The waitress was delightful and very helpful when deciding which pizza to choose. The pizzas arrived quickly and were amazing. Very reasonably priced too. Recommend.

Ottima pizza a lievitazione lunga fatta con ingredienti realmente italiani in un locale gestito da un connazionale che lavora come mi piacerebbe altri facessero in Italia. Ambiente molto bello e luminoso da dove catturare scorci di vita locale.

As a fussy pizza eater I was well impressed with the Diovola pizza I had. Each ingredient was full of taste and the base was perfect. The dessert (cheesecake with vanilla ice cream) was also superb. The pizza was good value for money, the place was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and cannot find a single thing to fault it on.

Delicious Naepolitan pizza, thin and great flavours. Service is good and quick. Prices a bit more expensive than pizzerias in town but that is expected being in Finnieston. Love that they rotate their specials so there's something new to try every so often.

Great service, pizza was fabulous, we also had sides, brochette and a salad, that were really tasty. The place was busy but not noisy while the staff were friendly, attentive but unobtrusive. Highly recommended

Incredibly delicious Italian pizzas. The staff was also very friendly (and humorous). Definitely recommend if you are stuck on where to eat in Glasgow. There might be a little wait time if you do not book in advance, but we only waited for 5-10 minutes without any reservation.

Surprisingly tasty pizzas that were thin and ingredients were fresh. Very quick service. I came in at 10pm and within 5 minutes had my pizza. Of course, expect longer during the day but overall very good

I used to like the place, I live nearby and it’s a good option when I’m lazy and would fancy a pizza! On average I had a Good experience but lately the pizza is always overcooked (carbonized) and the other day, too much. I didn’t really enjoy my pizza. Before going there, I checked the menu and the pizza a I was looking at was £10 but when they charged me, it was £12! The prices increased, got it, but it felt like being cheated. Summary, my last visit was quite bad experience, but the previous ones were not too bad, so I will give them 3 stars as an average.

Staff very friendly and helpful would recommend food was really good.

We had a lovely lunch there this afternoon. There were 6 adults and 5 kids (aged 1-13) and we were so well accommodated. Fortunately it was quite quiet and our rambunctious kids didn’t disrupt any other customers! The staff were so patient and kind with the kids. The food was delicious and service impeccable. Highly recommend and would happily return.

Perfect pizza, nothing more you need to know 🤌

I had pizza in Sano several times, always liked it and I came back tonight after a few months. I ordered a margherita with extra aubergines. I was expecting a quantity comparable with the amount of vegetables in a vegetarian pizza but it was quite scarce. The worst thing was that the pizza didn't taste right and it was probably the 'mozzarella': either it wasn't mozzarella or it wasn't a fresh one, tasteless and a bit rubbery. It's a shame as I was considering Sano as a good alternative to Baffo (now closed) or Mozza (also closed). I appreciate that the price of ingredients has increased (and the cost of pizzas reflects that) but I don't think I'll be back.

I ordered a pizza ad the reviews were good however when mine got delivered it was cold, not even like warm but cold. I cannot eat it. I'm now going to need to order elsewhere as they never answered the phone and I called numerous times.

Pizza restaurant, not the biggest menu for a pizza place but everything on it is outstanding so who cares. You should def go here.

Absolute disaster. One pizza came first and the second one was wrong. By the the time the second one arrived the first one was half eaten so by the time the mistake was corrected the first pizza was finished. Dips and focaccia arrived after both pizza? The wrong pizza, Diavola with bufalo Mozzarella, was replaced but a correct one but burnt (the lady said this is how they serve it - check photo). Third time replacing the pizza it was wrong again (no bufalo mozzarella) and it as lied to when noticing, by saying indeed it was bufalo mozzarella which clearly was not! - To make it clear 1. The server did not even take notes, hence the mistake . 2 - the second pizza was burnt (looks at image, but on the slice less burnt it was actually nice with the correct mozzarella) - the third pizza DID NOT have bufalo mozzarella, I’ve eaten this my whole life, it was standard mozzarella and we were lied to, I believe because they couldn’t admit their third mistake. Quiet arrogant. My glass was dirty of lipstick - not a sorry, and to be honest quite disgusting. - How can you think drinking from a glass with someone else’s dirt is acceptable? Is absolutely horrific doesn’t matter what you use to wash it. Full stop. Dips aren’t anything special. - no the rucola one was not finished and tbh, I said they were not special, because they were poor, very. The focaccia is NOT a focaccia. - true this was finished by my partner, but it was not a focaccia! It was an absolute insult to focaccia and your own waitress called it “garlic bread” when serving it to us. What a disgrace. Terrible service and experienced. Left to go and eat elsewhere after paying a full bill a part from the diavola, of course, why would I pay for something I didn’t eat because you messed up multiple times. You did not give me any further discount if not the student one which I’m entitled to and I showed proof as requested. You sent me an email asking for a date and time and did not come back with when a little apology. It shows how low and arrogant you are. You cannot get a critique and indeed I can you do this at every negative review. I can also see why your staff is so rude/ arrogant and entitled to serve what they want and call a burnt pizza / dirty glass acceptable.

Pizzas were good, Great that they have dedicated vegan options also. However it's hard not to compare to other pizza offerings in the west end which these pizzas didn't really match up to

Very chill place, with nice big windows to let the light in. It has a youthful atmosphere but styles the food traditional Italian pizza. It was very nice, thin crust, good ingredients. It's a great deal for students if you bring your student id.

Great location & quick service. Our pizza was tasty but a little burned on the bottom, to the point we tasted the burnt flavor over the ingredients. Ironically they got the pizza out quicker than we ever had any pizza delivered something like 5 to 7 minutes. So they really cooked it to quickly. Still the majority was very tasty.

Dog friendly! Managed to accommodate me, my partner and our greyhound when we wandered past at 8:45pm on a Sunday. Pizza was served quickly, perfectly cooked and full of flavour! We left very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Came in for takeaway, ordered, was seated at the bar for 10 min and left with a pizza. Watched many pizzas go in and out of the wood fired oven with much style and finesse.

this is my 4th time to Sano. I have to say that probably is the best napolitan style pizza dough in Glasgow(I am from Napoli so I can say that) but there are some things that need to be improved. There must be a good pizzaiolo and a bad one. First time i went the pizza was completely burned and they changed it for me, after the manager looked at it. I went a second time where the marinara sauce was unbelievably tasty, sweet tomato sauce and perfectly cooked. This time was a fail. I ordered a marinara with sausage and it was extremely salty. When i say extremely, i mean i had to stop to the first slice cause i felt to puke. I asked the waitress to change it and she said "yes it ks the sauce" like if it was supposwd to be that way..so i asked to change and they brought me a white pizza with the italian sausage. At the end I paid both. First, I would have expected someome at least to taste a slice, just to be sure i wasn't making it up, two, It would have been a nice gesture to offer at least a discount, but beside that... this place goes from one extreme to the other...it's a shame because the pizza dough is very good...pizza is a "ruota di carretta" soft crust not too big, good hydration and quite elastic. Exactly as it should...but...missing consistency

Had a lovely dining experience at Sano this evening. I had the Capricciosa,the moll went for the Maradona which had oregano anchovies and capers. Both were delicious and the sourdough base was perfect. Very relaxed friendly ambience and a restaurant I will definitely return to.
