Good food. Loud music - go to Di Maggio’s City Centre if you want to have a conversation over dinner.

Just a walk- in early evening greeted by lovely manager Raj...asked immediately if any food allergies etc..can't have added salt due to BP..he recommended special order of lemon chicken lemon mayo which was delicious husband had pizza fries .Food and service was excellent can't thank Raj enough for wonderful service and friendliness. What a sensational restaurant!! From the second you walk in the door your greeted with a beaming smile and an atmosphere to make anyone feel welcome and relaxed.! The ambiance, the decor, the music, the lighting JUST EVERYTHING is how a restaurant should make you feel.! It was our very first visit to Glasgow and we were staying in the hotel next door, walking past we thought hmmmmm let's give this a try sooo WE DID AND IT WAS THE BEST decision we made the whole 3 days we were there! It was THAT GOOD before we'd even finished our first main meal, we booked up for our second night.!!! Would recommend booking for between 5-6. I had a coke zero to drink and the husband had the obligatory Scottish irn Bru.! Starters I had the pollo fritto and husband had mozzarella cubes! Mains I had Copacabana chicken which was FULL of flavor, creamy coconut flavours with a hint of rum, the children fell apart on my fork and was full of juice and flavor asks the fries mmm mmm.....and husband had pizza Quattro formaggi which he said was super super nice and full of flavor! And for dessert we shared a biscoff cheesecake which was heaven on a plate!! For the second night I had the same starter and main meal because HONESTLY JUST try it!! You'll do the same!! Wow wow wow with the flavor! The husband ordered their lasagne the second night as he usually always orders pizza and he said it was the BEST lasagne he's EVER had and would go back to Glasgow just for that.! Honestly a visit to this restaurant is something you'll NEVER EVER FORGET and we will 100% goto this place if we go back t Glasgow again.!

We had pizza with onions and chicken on it amazing so soft just the way I like it and then chips and mac cheese it was all amazing and staff are nice and then get I just what u want;)) can’t wait to go back.

Very disappointing, I first visited the original place back in the 80s when it was quite special. More recently it’s been decent . On this occasion it was abysmal. Not busy but long long wait for main course. Pizza was a doughy chewy mess, couldn’t finish even though I was starving . Bolognese had less meat than a dogs bone- would have been better buying a tin from costcutters. Sweet smile from waiter when I said it wasn’t great. Other tables were complaining. Won’t be back, something has clearly gone very wrong here….

I'm a light eater so had a starter and a side salad as my entire meal. Absolutely wonderful food and service. Had a second supper on Saturday evening. The goat cheese salad and minestrone soup hit the spot after a day of touring. Again fabulous flavors and top notch service.

DELICIOUS! Gorgeous crust, our Americana pizza was lovely, and the sauce for the Di Maggio meatballs was stellar. Well priced, and we split the meal between two. We appreciated the complimentary water with lemon 👍🏽 Recommended visit.

I am tourist. Just popped in for eating since my hotel is next door. The restaurant is super crowded so we gave a try. After stepping in, we meet the guy seems a manger. We asked for a table of three people. He said please wait 5-10 mins. We were happy to be wait. After a while, a lady came and table was prepared for us. After a while, that gentleman manger came from that table and looked at us. I smiled and thought the table was ready so asked him is the table ready. He was so rude to told me that “did I have any patience to be wait?” So I shut down my voice and sit there until a waiter came to ask to come to table. It was a bad experience to be that restaurant and we won’t come back it again. After eating 5 minutes, we asked for to go. Italian food is just okay at this restaurant. I should give zero star for service. I am so sorry for another waiters and waitress since they are so nice except that guy. Maybe he ran out his patience when a lot of customers showed up at his restaurant. It is September of 2024.

Good food. I'm only sorry to have found something unexpected on the receipt, namely a beer that I had promptly cancelled. After correcting the receipt we ended up with the same value adding the tip!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn express next door came to try this place friendly staff this pizza was amazing! Served by a young lady who was very nice made the service so much better! Thank you!

My three friends and I had ITISON vouchers for a 2 course meal and cocktail. Our meals were delicious and the cocktails packed a punch. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back voucher or no 👍🏻

Our friends booked it for pre-theatre before going to the standup comedy at the Glee. Couldn’t be better, just round the corner. The food was ok, as you would expect in DiMaggio and not expensive by today’s standards. I had a tasty bruschetta and decent sea bass with 5pm 2-course voucher. The service was good, no complaints.

Best gluten free pizza I've ever had!!

First time ordering from here. While staying in the Holiday Inn. The food was excellent. Will definitely use it again if I am staying again. The Mac n Cheese was divine with the Chips.

Location is very handy to cinema, theatres and even bus station. Lovely decor and very attentive staff. The food is very tasty, and the bruchetta now a new favourite.

Great food and hospitality. A group of 7 tonight, and did not disappoint. Food came out hot, and when one plate didn't arrive, they informed us on the delay and reason. Portions are good, quality of food excellent.

Fi Maggio's has come right back to the forefront of Italian restaurants. A few years ago I visited and the review was distinctly average. However, it's come right back up and is really an enjoyable dining experience. Food is now excellent, service is great and the atmosphere busy but you can hear each other as you dig in. Well worth a visit.

Dined here Sunday around 4pm with my daughter. I ordered lasagne. It was only lukewarm in the centre so asked for it to be reheated. I got a different very hot replacement with courtesy garlic bread by way of apology from the chef. Honestly has to be the WORST lasagne I've ever had and I couldn't eat it. It was a Mish mash of tasteless and very unappetising goo. The chef needs replaced as it was disgusting. After my first dish was cold I didn't want to complain further about the actual food. Left hungry and annoyed. The only saving grace was that the waiter deducted our soft drinks from the bill but quite honestly I would rather have paid for these and had the price of the full leftover meal deducted. I will never be back. Whats wrong with these guys? It's not a difficult dish to get right! Big mistake on our part choosing this place.

Excellent meal and service our family group of 15 went here after the panto and what can I say the food was great the peppercorn chicken was the best I ever tasted the pasta dishes looked delicious The kids loved the pizza's and the ice cream. The manager and staff are all friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one which will we definitely repeat. Can recommend for sure.

My favourite place to eat in Glasgow (West Nile Street). It's especially good for a family meal out. Staff are super-patient and kind.

We visited on Sunday. Food was very bad. My son got sick after having chicken peppercorn. The cheese on pizza was very weird and nauseous . Will never visit again. They added tip in the bill without asking us .

Food excellent, also staff ive been going to Di Maggios since 1984 this branch near to Royal concert hall is one of the best. The Royal Exchange Square one looks tired and could do with a revamp, this used to be the famous Charlie Parkers bar which was one of the most stylish places in Glasgow which I enjoyed in my youth. Can't say anywhere in Glasgow comes close today to the class act which was Charlie's.

We had a fabulous meal before a concert. Delicious and very filling.

Booked table for 515 as going to theatre. Starter arrived nearly 50 mins later. Had to ask twice for it. First time told it was on its way. It wasn’t! Had to explain second time in a rush . Starter finally arrived and explained needed main course to arrive soon after. Main course arrived shortly after but felt very rushed. Bill arrived with service included. I wouldn’t have paid for service as felt it was poor, and had to keep approaching staff rather than any staff approaching me to explain or apologise.

Service pretty poor. Had to ask twice for our drinks. No offer of Parmesan for our pasta.Had to ask for a spoon to eat the spaghetti. All things that a great Italian should do without thinking. Penne Rustica dish had the poorest quality sausage that was inedible. Finally you are packed in like sardines. The staff though were polite. Certainly wouldn’t go back.

Amazing food at cheap price. Exceed the expectation for such a low priced lunch menu. Helpful staff are a worthy mention.

We had a pre theatre meal which was absolutely delicious, the goat's cheese and ravioli are fabulous.

We ended up here by chance and very glad we did! The service was fantastic, despite being really busy. The cocktails were amazing,good value for money too ( on par with Ivy but half the price), we had the fillet steak ( massive) cooked v well and lasagna which was made with proper ragu. We finished with a coffee which came with home made fudge. Can't recommend high enough!

This place was fantastic, the staff was prompt and very welcoming. We loved the food and went back a second time while we visiting Glasgow. I recommend Di Maggie’s but suggest you make a reservation as they are generally busy.

Check the bill when it comes, we had 2 main courses and 2 lge glasses of wine with a side of garlic bread and price Was £46. The tip of £4 Was already on bill but I didn't notice so added a £3 tip. Total bill £49. Robbed. Will keep in mind if I go back to DiMaggios.

Went I for a bit to eat before a show in theatre royal, staff were very friendly took drinks order when they seated us, they asked if we were going to a show so they made sure the service was prompt, everything flowed well, the food was tasty hot and decent sized portions, staff offered good advice with regards wine, they suggested a cheaper wine as it worked better with the dish my wife and her friend were having, they both thought it was delicious. I would not hesitate for a moment to return here for a meal

Dined here on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was pleasantly busy with enough bustle to be inviting and yet not slow down service. Food was really generous in portion size but a bit hit and miss on quality. Standout of the evening was the service. The waitress attending us was fantastic. Polite, friendly and efficient. Went early evening - staff lovely and very attentive. Had the chicken with cheese sauce - sauce very thin and covered the plate (had to get a teaspoon to sup it up). Chicken tasty enough.

The family had lunch here and the staff were great as was the food only thing to watch is that they add a 10% service charge without asking.

Service was almost great, I like all the mains to be served together , but one dish was 5 mins after first , food was good but not that would make me want to come back soon. The staff were helpful .. don’t like limit on tables , means we decided against coffee etc ..I don’t like restaurants adding 10% tips with out asking .. I want the choice . Nice touch to bring a brownie with a candle to wish me happy birthday .There we’re 6 of us and 2 kid bill was over £150

Nice food, friendly staff. We both had a pizza. Mine was pretty spicy (diavolo) but tasted very good. The Americana pizza was also very tastefull. Along with a nice beer we had a very pleasant evening. The staff was very friendly.

Just a lovely place with awesome staff. I came here on a rainy cold winter evening, not the usual place I'd choose, but I'm waiting for a bus so it was convenient to Buchanan station. Warm welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, nice jazz/funk music at right volume (not too loud) and good food n wine. Solo diner in this case 😊

Booked online, main issue was being sat right next to waiters station & constant comings & goings, staff not knowing where orders were going. Disappointed with margarita pizza, cheese running off the pizza & overall not great.

Still no explanation as to why we couldn't have bottled coke? The fridge was stocked full, but 2 different staff members wouldn't serve it. Odd place and not Italian at all. Food was bland and stale, pizza a sloppy mess. Tried to charge us for items we hadn't ordered, slow to rectify. Won't be back.

bought an itison voucher with a set menu not stating can change or sample menu was very disappointing that menu differed and had to pick something from menu we hadn't really paid . if case things can change it should state it when actually the voucher doesn't so really it's false advertising .
