Had a great wee tapas style meal with a friend. Although very busy service was quick and attentive and the food was excellent. Will definitely return!

We booked this for my husbands birthday treat. The food and service was first class. A friendly vibe and lovely atmosphere. The choice on the menu was so wide and varied, including vegetarian options. The restaurant surprised my husband with a lovely sweet with a huge candle and sang happy birthday, which was a lovely gesture. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for, choice, service and value for money. Can't wait to go back.

Esta fue una experiencia tan pobre que no volveremos. Me llamaron el día anterior para comprobar mi reserva e informar al propietario en nuestra fiesta era mi madre de 87 años y era su cumpleaños. Aseguró que sería tratada especialmente. Esto no sucedió. Nuestra mesa para 6 estaba arriba (87 años sí logró la subida! ) estábamos en una cabina para 4 con una pequeña mesa empedrada para terminar en la parte superior de las escaleras. Los camareros eran encantadores con nosotros, pero claramente discutiendo entre sí, ya que estaban muy estresados, ya que estaban tan ocupados. Eventualmente tomamos copas. Nos informaron que algunos de nuestros platos venían con arroz, que no lo hicieron. Comimos una ensalada con patatas fritas entre tres. Tuvimos que devolver uno de estos platos ya que no era comestible. Nos fuimos sin postre o café y platos todavía en nuestra mesa. Sin mencionar el cumpleaños de mamás 🎁 Horrible y triste para nosotros, no es lo que esperábamos en absoluto.

Desde el momento en que llegamos el ambiente y el servicio era tan encantador. La comida era de alto nivel, a todos les encantó sus elecciones para el almuerzo y un postre descarado. No puedo esperar hasta que volvamos.

First time iv been here was told so many good things about this place only to be let down big time aye was overcharged for my meal and it wasn't until I got home and checked the price on there menu aye realised it especially when aye had sat done with the waitress and told her what aye was paying for and she still overcharged me plus aye gave her a tip into the bargain my tip to everyone else avoid at all costs

We had a fantastic night tonight! The food and service were incredible. Everything was fresh and our servers were very attentive. Thank you so much to the staff who kept my little girl entertained. She loves her wee teddy, can't wait to come back.

Great food and service. The pescatore bakes eggs, arancini and spicy watermelon margarita were all incredible.

Delicious Italian food and their unusual starters and sides are a must. Round it all off with perfect Italian ice-cream. Recommended.

2 1/2 hours later no food, management hung up the phone when prompted for update after dayijg it was delivered and refused refund. Loved this restaurant but will never eat hear again after this!!

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience in what is one of our favourite restaurants. The menu is almost overwhelming in its variety of choice, the staff is smoothly efficient and very friendly and the overall atmosphere is lively and comfortable. The food was delicious and when my wife couldn't finish her dessert it was nicely packaged for her to take the remainder home. It was a lunch to remember.

honestly first 2 times I've ordered the food has been AMAZING. but this time it just wasn't nice as it has been. the carbonara nuggets had no parmesean cheese over the top and my portion was under cooked and parter was overcooked and the breadcrumbds tasted different . the pasta had no flavour and was really bland when before you couldnt taste the garlic parmeasean cheese or chilli in it. I hope next time I order its back to normal because this place is my new obsession

AVOID FULL OF FLIES !!! I had a Very similar experience to a recent diner in Spuntinis west end it has to be said aside the flies the most disgusting thing was the managers attitude who was extremely rude to the point I walked out the establishment after warning him not to speak to me the way he did !! I did not make outlandish requests i merely asked to be seated away from the front door which I had stated on booking with him on the phone as it was him who took the booking I know this because he confirmed it ! the request I made seemed to be a massive issue with the manager gesturing in an annoyed attitude round the room where …. where do you want to sit I said where I requested on booking not at the front door or at the shutters that were open at this point and the upstairs was empty !!! The visit previous to being insulted at the front door where I had been kept waiting …. the place was full of fruit flies making eating your dinner without having a fly land on your plate or in your wine glass impossible !!!! having to cover your wine glass to stop them getting in the glass there was that many !! I had to clean the glass before I would drink out if it as even that was dirty as was the cutlery !!!! The standards have clearly dropped and should be reported alongside the manager going on a customer service course to update him we are not in the 60s and he can’t speak to women in a derogatory manner silly little man he is going to suffer if things do not change and the standards do not improve I’m sure the food hygiene service and environmental health would be highly interested and I definitely would not return

Absolutely appalling. Cramped, flustered waiting staff totally confused about everyone's orders, cold food arrived and took 15-20 mins to be re microwaved and returned. When we complained about the experience the senior waiter was passive aggressive and suggested he just take it away. Totally bizarre. By then we had lost any desire to be there a minute longer and we said we'd just leave. We agreed to pay for drinks as the food orders had gone wrong and the experience was awful. The manager agreed then charged us for food (and I see from reviews they do this to customers who haven't eaten) then an outraged waitress for some reason got involved even though we had discussed it with the senior waiter and a few second later, a small furious man who was apparently the manager who I now understand from reading reviews here is rude, aggressive and an ego maniac (notions of grandeur as the food is awful) appeared and began to yell at us without asking us a single question about our experience or letting us speak about what had happened. This was extremely rude and I told him as much but he then WAITED for us to leave as though he was escorting us out. Very upsetting as my guest was a visitor to Scotland/Glasgow. I have assured him this man does NOT represent the West End, Glasgow or Scotland but a really disgusting way to treat people. And not remotely Italian hospitality. We had a beautiful meal outside of Glasgow that evening and absolutely everything from the decor (la Vita Spuntini take note), atmosphere, cocktails, music, menu, service and food was divine and the total opposite of what La Vita Spuntini had to offer. Someone who ensures hospitality standards are in place needs to go in and witness this for themselves as they need to be accountable for this appalling childish behaviour.

The atmosphere is electric, staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks a little slow at being served but overall very good food.

Food is stone cold, shocking service. Called restaurant and they told me lyes. They only marked it delivered when we called restaurant. Attitude from restaurant was terrible and could not have cared less.

Celebrating my birthday, table was booked for 6.15. I understand it was a Saturday night and very busy time however it took an hour and a half to get food. Both male waiters had no idea which pasta was which and brought us a small mia casa saying it was a large. The female waitress had no idea what drinks she was serving she did not know which was vodka and which was gin. I eat at la vita often and enjoy it but last night the service was terrible, food was cold, we had 2 drinks in 2 hours. Really disappointed, and they had the cheek to add a £40 tip to the bill.

Pizza taste bad not sire what happened but the food is not what it used to be , thats it for me

First time visiting and whilst the food was good the service wasn’t great! Pizza we ordered never made it out to our table but was on the bill (quickly rectified though). Personal opinion was that the restaurant was too busy .. didn’t seem like enough staff to manage it all!!

The food from here, especially the pizza, is consistently good. It arrives hot, the portions are great and the pizza is even better! My go to pizza place in Glasgow.

Food was absolutely freezing by the time it had arrived. The chips were soggy and tasted like microwaved chips. Pizza was stone cold and couldn’t be eaten. Terrible experience

Poor service. Had to phone restaurant for an update. Food was extremely cold when it finally arrived unfortunately will not order again

Pasta was missing its lemon, the chicken was a bit over and dry and the guanciale had been replaced by bacon. Not what was expected for quite an expensive meal. Booking stated that the table had to be returned within an hour and a half, but they couldnt serve 2 courses in that time, and we were slightly early The staff managed brilliantly under very trying conditions. Maybe need to try it when it's not so busy.

This is not authentic Italian cuisine. Minestrone was a small portion but tasty enough. Lasagne was the worst I have had. 2 layers of pasta and looked like soup when delivered to our table. Partners pizza was a margarita but the sauce was sweet like sugar had been added and half was left. The cocktails were left sat on the bar for 10 minutes before being brought to our table and at over £10 a drink were now containing melted ice. This was my second visit here and it'll be my last. I cannot understand why its so busy. There is better and more authentic Italian restaurants in Glasgow!

Omg, I was in spuntinis tonight, food was exceptional, service was exceptional, everyone serving us were cheery with a smile, nothing was too much trouble, also the restaurant was beautiful, I can never remember having a night like this and such a beautiful meal, cannot speak highly enough.

Excellent experience from a simple booking process, a friendly welcome and excellent service throughout our evening. Will definitely book again. Really enjoyed our cosy booth for 6 which makes for great chatting for everyone. I don't eat meat at all and I was given the option of adjusting one of the dishes to suit my dietary requirements. I ordinarily don't leave bad reviews, but feel that I should with La Vita Spuntini. We as a staff team booked a table for 5:30pm and were not seated for 20 minutes, and were actually told that the previous table were sat there, so we asked staff to move them. It was a Christmas menu with 2 set prices, it took 2.5 hours from when we should've been sat 5:30pm, to be served 2 courses out of 3, which is ridiculous. I had to leave before the 3rd course was served to catch a train (I only ordered mains and dessert). I told the host at the front desk of my predicament in which she responded that I had to pay for the desert that I wasn't served or did not eat, which again, is ridiculous. I agreed to pay as I was in such a rush and she did not know the set prices, and tried to charge me for 3 courses. I had to correct her, and she then had to check again what the 2 course price was- it was a set menu! Essentially, I paid £34.90 for a pizza and pepsi max, late service, and rude staff. The pizza was also gristly and greasy. Spuntuni, please don't sit as many people if you can't provide good, timely service for that number of people. Really unhappy customer and would not recommend to my friends or colleagues.

Within less than 2 minutes of sitting down we were asked what our food choices were - we hadn't even opened the menus! Waiter left seeming somewhat annoyed, 15 mins later he came back and took our order. Sharing starter arrived without side plates, these eventually arrived when we'd almost finished (choose to start rather than it getting cold). Main course arrived, had to ask for cutlery. Table cleared once we were finished and ordered an expresso. Coffee didn't arrive after 20 mins so decided to request the bill. Bill brought to the table, after another 10-15 mins we had to request the card machine. Overall a very poor level of service which is a shame as the food was good.

Excellent service and quality of food, just before a play at Oran Mor. Parking is the only problem in Glasgow, but it is cheaper that £40 each way for a taxi.

Poor quality Christmas dinner left a lot to be desired

I visited yesterday and it was easily the best service I've ever had in Glasgow. The maître d was so welcoming and on the ball, we then had the smiliest waitress ever she just put you in a good mood. Really good food, really good Christmas decorations and our own Santa Hats which I will be wearing for the month of December.

There was no option for a scheduled delivery so even as soon as possible it came really early and the pasta was absolutely swimming in oil, that was not worth £40

The food and service was lovely as usual but the restaurant felt really noisy and chaotic today which really spoilt our lunchtime catch up. One member of staff in particular continually shouted VERY loudly across the restaurant to the rest of the staff which was completely unnecessary and rather irritating. Sadly I would hesitate to return again to this branch

We had our table booked for 1600 for a family Christmas night out which was booked well over a month in advance, we didn’t get seated until 1630 & no food until 1700 which impacted our plans for the night. We could hear others complaining of the same issues, I understand there is demands of working in a restaurant but the more senior staff were dismissive and rude. Waiting staff were brilliant, you could tell they were rushed off their feet but they did their best. The food in the West End restaurant has been very sub par anytime we have went compared to the city centre. I wouldn’t actually go back now, it’s just not a good experience.

Booked here last minute and just managed to get a table restaurant was absolutely mobbed yet all staff were very attentive and quick with bringing drinks and taking orders which surprised us with how busy it was. Excellent choice of drinks and great variety on the menu food was amazing and the atmosphere here was excellent as well was a great experience from the minute we walked in till we left can’t fault the place one bit and would definitely return in a heart beat

We’ve been to the city centre Spuntini before, but this was our first time in the West End. Family meal celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday. Quite possibly the most delicious meal I’ve ever had, combined with attentive and fun staff - shout out to Amy for her food recommendations and then Amy and Vincent for a birthday surprise at the end of the meal. Highly recommended and we will most certainly be back.

Pizza was late and cold by the time it arrived. Taste is always great, but delivery can be a lottery.

As always, we had a really fabulous dinner here last night. Such a warm and atmospheric restaurant, the staff are so pleasant and very efficient, the food is delicious! This is, and always will be, our go to restaurant.. it never fails. Back again with friends/family at the weekend and can’t wait. Thank you all ❤️

The food was good. The service was diabolical. The servers missed one drink order and took an hour to rectify it despite 5 different reminders. The wrong starters were served and any mention of poor service was scoffed at and belittled. Zero self awareness of how shocking the service was. Will not return. Nice food tho I guess

Nice service, nice setting but won’t return as food was very poor. Had the Italian roast chicken. Smallest chicken I’ve ever seen, very little meat on it. Gravy was poor and roast potatoes were not roast more like boiled. Vegetables were mushy. Overall very poor food. Don’t waste your money

We were in on Saturday for a post Graduation lunch. Staff were superb. Changed table arrangements for us as they saw my daughter had crutches. Food was superb. Well presented and very tasty. Staff were amazing and made my daughter’s day. Thank you.

Great pizza from la vita - nailed it again!

Turned up on a busy Saturday afternoon with no booking. No problems they sat 4 of us down. Had the 16.99 choice of 3 tapas size dishes each. Food was excellent, the pasta special was delicious 😋. Small lasagne also get a mention for being so flavourful. Everyone enjoyed their food and agreed that they couldn't finish as it was too much.

Delivery was quoted at time of selection of 30-45 minutes. This ended up being an hour and a half. Didn’t get pizzas (yes, pizzas that take 5 minutes in a pizza oven) until 9:15. Will not order from there again.

We didn't have a reservation so we were asked to wait 5 minutes. 2 tables became available so we were able to get seated quickly but the manager told us that we could only stay for an hour… Not very welcoming. We were served after 30 minutes, which eliminated the possibility of having dessert. We ordered margharita burrata pizzas for £16 but they arrived without burrata. Apparently there were a few small pieces that had melted on the pizza. The waiters were nice and the pizzas were good but not worth the price since they were basic pizzas.

Was difficult to choose what to eat from the extensive menu but what we all chose was lovely. Attentive staff and great Sangria!

Where to start. This place Is absolutely amazing. Juliano the manager quickly became our favourite person. My partner and I first started dating after he asked me out in this restaurant. We have since being going for over 3 years and everytime has been a delight. From a 30 person 21st birthday To an anniversary Dinner To the average date night The cocktails are wonderful, the food is always on point and we are always seated quickly and with a wonderful attitude. If your going to eat anywhere in glasgow I'd say it has to be this place!! Looking foward to our next visit!

Best italian food I had in a while👌👌

Really liked our Tuesday night birthday dinner for 14. Staff were excellent, food was tasty and served at the same time from the tapas menu. Peroni was cold and the sparkler on the birthday cake topped off a lovely evening, well done Sputini team

Massively disappointed with the overall service. Just eat orders prioritised over customers in the restaurant resulting in long wait times. I booked a family meal to celebrate my 40th birthday. The table was booked for 7.30 for 21 people. The table was not ready until 7.45 we had to ask to order drinks and the food order was not taken until 9.05pm. Mains were served before starters and some meals were cold.

My adult daughter and I visited on a rainy Bank Holiday Monday for dessert and a cocktail. We did not have a booking but we were welcomed in and promptly seated at a lovely table. We opted for Tiramisu and a ridiculously tall strawberry tart. Both were absolutely first class and we tried not to leave any ( not easy as the portions were very generous!). The cocktails were both very sweet which weren't quite to our liking but that's personal choice. Not the cheapest treat but we deserved it! Good banter from the staff and lovely polite service. No waiting around either. One to return to in the future.

Before we sat in, someone asked us to wait at the front door, but no one asked us in after the table is cleaned. No one is serving the menu or water after we sitting down for ten minutes. Extremely bad service.

Took over 2 hours to come. Pasta was nice. Chips were decent. Pizza was a bit grim. Giant doughnut that cost almost £9 was rock solid and inedible.

First time in here waited half an hour to be served drinks, food wasn't great ordered 2 carbonaras waited over an hour. When they eventually did come pasta was raw(not al dente)and just not very nice. At this point I waited so long on the food I didn't even bother to complain to the manager he was very rude and in our face. Other staff members were very nice. Probably won't be back after this visit. In future say no if you have no space for a table and provide decent service for customers.

Great service, good food and incredibly understanding staff. I dropped off four 12 year olds for a farewell dinner between friends and the staff looked after them, treated them like adults and they had a superb time. We had been as a family the week before and he wanted to go back, and I'm delighted it worked out for him.

My friend and I enquired about available drinks, and the manager lied to us, sayng: "I need this table in 10 minutes, so you need to go", as well as "this place is too expensive for you". I said I'd buy 2 peronis for £7.50 each, and they were served by friendlier staff. My friend and I enjoyed our Peroni's for up to half an hour before we left, confirming that the lying manager didn't need our table in 10 minutes; he was lying to drive us away because he judged us negatively. Terrible attitude. Go somewhere else where the management are more respectful.

This was wonderful. Two of us tried the three taster dishes, which were a copious size. One of us tried the 12 inch pizza. We had soft drinks.

So today was the second time I have ordered with you guys, and I love your Pizzas!! They remind me of home back in New York. Looking forward to tasting some more of your menu. But I must say your pizzas are Amazing!! Thank You!!

We came across La Vita Spuntini during a walk around the city and stopped for lunch. The food was amazing, as was the service and the atmosphere. Absolutely superb!! Definitely recommend - wish I lived nearer as I would definitely go back. Thank you!!

Disappointing, fake Italian food for really high prices. You can just tell everything was just dumped out of a can. Underwhelming, to say the least.

I keep meaning to leave a review - this is one of our favourite takeaways as a family. The food is incredible, the family meal deal is great and means we can get a variety of things to suit all tastes in the house. We’re in Scotstoun and sometimes it’s not as warm as it could be but I put that down to the distance and even then it’s always amazing and delicious. (And tonight it was spot on). I can’t recommend enough, especially for families, it’s such a treat in our house & such good value.

So Italian kitchen has to be!!! Fantastic, delicious!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
