Look it's a chain the chef probably isn't from Sicily the pizza doughs probably batch made in a factory in Bolton but what it does it does very well. We booked a quiet time on a quiet Monday afternoon one other table in on arrival they left soon after one more table arrived while we were eating. Very quick friendly service . Through choice not any financial requirements we ate off the 2 course menu it was amazing for what it is. Starters were meatballs and bruschetta mains lasagne and chicken 🍗. Had a couple of drinks. Bill was 51 quid and pennies I'm recently retired after 20 years in hospitality my good wife is currently 17 years at that same hotel we appreciate the efforts made by hospitality staff even when it's very quiet so left a very fair tip as I usually do. It's easy to say support the small restaurants but in our busy lives I prefer the certainty with these chains a small restaurant one you'll love the lasagne next one will do it different one the garlic bread is really loaded with garlic next one it won't be some sell your favourite beer or wine some don't. There's a place in the market for most options in this particular place at this particular time this option really suited us and filled it's purpose very very well. I've no doubt we'll return..

Visited this restaurant on 06/02/2025,the waiter/manager was totally overwhelming and his interaction with customers was pathetic. The minestrone soup was the worst I have tasted but to be fair the pizzas were better, not a very pleasant evening could not wait to pay the bill and leave. This restaurant has gone down hill and I will not be back

We ate here on our second evening in Ayr following a recommendation by the owner of the guest house where we were staying. Seating is very comfortable and the restaurant is quite spacious. There’s a full menu of primarily Italian dishes with a good selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. The lasagne and pasta carbonara were very tasty along with a risotto dish. Service was very good…friendly and professional and despite being busy, staff were very observant. There’s a very large bar serving a particular good selection of cocktails. We thought prices were about average for the area and we enjoyed the experience of eating here.

Had been here a few times in the past but not for a good few years, we had always enjoyed the food in the past but standards have slipped badly. I had the Parfait di pollo to start and it was the worst pate I have ever had, could not even finish it as it was so ba, I then had the Hawaiian pizza which which had an unusual taste and was nothing special, my wife said her meal was okay but bland. The floor and our table were covered in crumbs and we were there at evening opening time so that must have been left since lunchtime, disgusting! The service was nothing very special either and was if they couldn't be bothered. Also quite expensive making it a worse experience so we won't be back as there are plenty of other proper delicious Italian restaurants to go to.

Fantastic , affordable Italian food . Staff were very good and the pizza was very very good. The restaurant does get busy after 6pm so might be best to book but I just walked in and got a table no problem. Front of house staff are brilliant and are a credit to the brand. Looking forward to a return visit

Great. Attentive staff with a friendly attitude and quick service. The food was well priced and good quality with a decent array of drinks both soft and alcoholic. Euan, our server was a great help and explained the menu well. Wasn't detered by the large group and went above and beyond to provide great service.

Been many times here think it's a little overpriced but good portion size however today we both had the steak and mushroom pie which i must say is a favourite of ours but not today the steak was really tough couldn't eat it a wee bit of mushroom in it but a lot of celery (yuk) and carrots in the pie very disappointed left more than we ate. Sorry but £26 for 2 meals and a drink and left most of it. Did not have time to come and complain as my husband had a hospital appointment. We will be back sorry to complain.

Great food and friendly staff. Lasagne was superb but the place felt rather cold, dark and uninviting. Maybe if thry had switched on the fairy lights it would have felt a bit more welcoming but there are other pizzerias in the town which are similarly priced with a lovely ambience.
