Can't believe I hadn't tried this gem of a restaurant before! The surrounding, food and service were outstanding!! Fabulous family restaurant, can't wait to return for more 😀

We came Thursday night, just a walk in the restaurant was really busy but it wasn’t a problem to get us in, the staff were so in sync, no drama and there was only 4 of them, the waitress we had was a amazing, she didn’t have any problems and still came to talk to us when she had the chance, we will definitely be back soon

We decided to give Mango a go because we had never been and it’s only 15 minutes down the road from us. We were actually out celebrating Eid as a family (normally go in to the city centre, but decided to stay local). We were instantly put off on our arrival, no hello or anything, my husband had to say he had booked a table for any sort of communication to begin! There is one member of staff in particular who should not be working with the public when she has no manners, very abrupt, rude, a face like fizz and can’t wait for people to leave! No communication at all throughout our time in the restaurant, not even as much as a smile! This same woman gave us normal menus and not the lunch menus, as we were marking the end of Ramadan - we didn’t bother asking for the lunch menus. What threw us off was - everyone else coming in was getting lunch menus? Food wasn’t the best, quite bland. One of our children took a bite out of his burger and got roasted with hot oil squirting out. It is a shame really, as yous have lost a potential customer. Not that yous will be bothered according to what I have read!

Highly recommend , been before as a couple , first time with the family , great quick friendly service , fantastic variety on the menu with plenty to please everyone, brilliant value for money .

Second time here, and both times fabulous. The food is so tasty lots of it and inexpensive. The hospitality is paramount, so attentive and kind. As we live near Edinburgh where the prices are extortionate, the price for all this is unbelievable. We will 100% be back. ☺️

Excellent! Really like the idea of a Indian and Italian side of the menu. We chose Indian and we were not disappointed! The 2 courses for £17 odd was well worth it. Would really recommend!

We booked a table for dinner with friends. Upon arrival the start of the meal was fine. However at serving, our order was incorrect and we were given the wrong sides and told that’s what we ordered. We then had to reorder the correct sides....

Amazing service followed by superb food! I attended this venue with a couple of friends all out first time…. The atmosphere in Mango is brilliant, the decor lovely! Great interaction with staff and very friendly, warm and inviting! We will for sure return!!

Service - excellent Lunch Menu Food - Starters - Chicken Pakora & chicken chaat these both were lovely this is where it ended in taste and good food. Main meals both rather bland including the rice, rice was tasteless almost the same standard as house rice. South Indian Chicken dish sauce looked so different to what we have had in other Indians restaurants and it didn’t taste of much . Garlic nan was underdone in oven.Sauce with chicken tikka was tasteless too and we only had 4 pieces of chicken in our main meal each. Would we be back simple answer no...not for us. Disappointed after the hype and lots of good reviews

My wife and I moved into the local area 4 years ago and we have been visiting The Mango either dining in or takeaway frequently for the entire time we’ve lived here.The experience for both dining in for lunch or dinner (and takeaway) are incredible, every staff member always makes the effort to ensure you are welcome to the point where they feel like good friends of ours now.Great menu selection, for both Indian and Italian menus, and one of the largest spirit selections you’ll see - especially on the whisky and gin front!Can’t fault the Mango at all - we’ve even been in before purely for a drink as has a nice, cosy atmosphere. Love this place!

Had one of mango’s newest addition called the tapas, one thing to say what a brilliant idea, really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend 😊

My 18 year old son was asked if was 18 when he asked for a beer and he offered to show his proof of age. The waiter said that because he was with me and my wife he didn’t need to see it. Then the waiter who delivered the drink asked again if he was 18 and again he offered the ID to the waiter, who also said he didn’t need to see it because he was with us. A short while later the first waiter came back and gave my son some patronising stuff about only getting served because he was with us. Later a young lady waiter came up and asked my son if he was 18 then when I complained she tried to make out that she wasn’t actually asking! I then complained to the lady who looked like the boss about him being asked 4 times but no one actually looking at his proof of age and to be fair she was apologetic. In the meantime my wife’s main meal arrived cold. When we asked for the bill they hadn’t deducted the deposit we had paid. A dire experience on Xmas Eve that could so easily been avoided if the first waiter had just looked at the proof of age offered to him in the 1st place. We won’t be back.

The place is stunning in side the staff were welcoming . On arrival theres a lovely waiting area . The food was beautiful and the staff were not only very good but also friendly and had a great rapport with there customers which is refreshing . All in all we loved it all the food staff and atmosphere.

Having been to Mango a few times I went for dinner last night and even given everything going on with the pandemic the service, food & everything was outstanding. We had calzone/pasta from the fusion menu and it was truly the best meal I’ve had for a long time. The staff are lovely. Very clean place and just a lovely place to eat. Would recommend visiting and supporting this lovely place.

We booked Mango to celebrate our daughters 1st Holy Communion. Food was brilliant - we used the two course lunch menu which is fantastic value for money. Service was 1st class - the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back.

We are regular attendees of Mango & enjoy the food & surroundings. However we went recently for lunch & the portion sizes are considerably smaller than normal, especiallythe starters. My daughter's meal had 3 small bits of chicken with lots of sauce. The nan bread also was thin & very small. Its a shame as the food is very nice but it puts you off if you think you're not getting good value for money.

Went for lunch today and during the covid pandemic, the tables were separate and social distance was observed, the food was excellent and the service was first class, value for money would highly recommend this restaurant

Lovely restaurant with a mix of Italian or Indian food, we always choose the Indian food, it is delicious. Excellent value for money, friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend you try it.

Let me just start with the service, can’t beat it, very professional and very friendly, chatting away with customers around the restaurant, making everyone feel welcome, the food is out of this world, amazing starters, main courses and desserts. My favourite is the South Indian :) as the main course and for the starter ch pakora, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal :)))

Visited this lovely eaterie, several times.Absolute tops. Excellent reasonably priced food. Staff could not be more pleasant.Observing all the Covid rules impeccably. Shame they had to close. Still open for carry outs. Cant wait for them to re-open. Gordon and Mary Cumbernauld

Ordered takeaway which did not arrive on time! Then called restaurant to ask where our order was for them to say we didn’t answer the door, however we had just received food from other fast food restaurant!!! When we phoned to enquire where our meal was we got nothing but attitude on the phone from girl who we later found out was 15 years old. Shortly after we complained to the driver that delivered the food we received a call back from manger on shift at mango but the attitude from her baffling! Very dismissive, rude and really couldn’t care at all!! When food finally arrived it was luke warm, very dry and tasteless. We have been good customers of this restaurant for years, very let down!! wouldn’t go there again and wouldn’t recommend!

Received vouchers from colleagues for my 40th, and had never been before. Have always been meaning to visit as my wife doesn’t like Indian food, but likes Italian.I’ll get the negatives out of the way. Arrived during lockdown and it was very busy - not really sure it was fully compliant with regulations. We also got stuck next to the door for the toilets - I’d suggest you get rid of that table, who wants to sit there? The worst part was the service (later found out this is common) - we were there for 3 hours due to lack of attention from junior members of staff with memories like goldfish who looked like they just didn’t want to be there. What made it worse was seeing the conservatory section where it looked like all the good efficient staff were working.I’ll move on to the positives. The restaurant is very nice outside and in, plenty parking and the food is good. I had the chicken pakora followed by shredded lamb with rice and peshwari naan. My wife had the risotto. Both of us really enjoyed our meals, and my wife adored the peshwari naan.I’ll give it another shot based on the fact my wife can gave Italian while I eat Indian, but to be honest, if the service isn’t any better, it will be the last time as there is a better Indian (Sanam) and 2 better Italians (Gambero Rosso, Cafe Corvina) on the way to Mango.

We have been to Mango on 3 previous occasions - meals are normally good. So when lockdown was relaxed, we decided it would be great to get out and do a normal thing and celebrate my sons graduation. We were so very disappointed. No socially distanced tables or any screens. My husband and son had people sitting right behind them. So very disappointed. Normal seating arrangement - nothing had changed from our previous visit, which was before covid appeared.I work with emergency services and i am front line to what this pandemic is doing to people, so dangerous to flaut the guidelines. Sadly we will not be revisiting Mango any time soon.

1st visit since lockdown. Still great service and food. Very clean and staff fully up to speed with all covid-19 requirements. Track and Trace also covered once the meal is finished. 2 course meal for under £10 each, great value for money.

1st visit to Mango. The food was fantastic, plenty of choice on the menu, would recommend the Butter Butter Chicken. Service was top quality, very attentive and the patter was also top quality. Plenty of personality. Well with a visit.

We visited for my sister-in-laws birthday last night. We were all disappointed in our main courses. The korma was watery and the peshwari naan was not pleasant either. The service was average 3/5. Was not keen that even 1hr before closing, they were hoovering up around us. We will not be returning.

Tried for the first time in July with family of 4 adults 1 child - service was outstanding staff couldn't have been more attentive - food was great and price was fair for generous portion sizes. Only thing I would say is could be doing with a kids menu but other than this cannot fault the place. Will definitly visit again!

Well thought I would try it as everyone else I know had been.Ordered the food on the pre theatre menu and my selection was Chicken Pakora and a South Indian Chicken dish with rice with the Garlic nan.Firstly the Pakora which consists of 3 bits of Chicken pakora which I was very surprised with expected more than 3 strips but I suppose that's what they do the disappointing part of the starter was 2 of the 3 bits had hard grizzled bits of chicken in them which I couldn't finish so just left them.Onto the main the curry itself was rather bland including the rice I've had better at both the sanam and Gulnar the rice itself was flavourless.Best bit about meal was the nan bread would I be back simple answer no...not for me.

Was at the mango restaurant today with my husband, from the minute we walked threw the door we were made very welcome, the service was outstanding the food was amazing, never fails to impress excellent all round experience. Thanks Hayley Kennedy.

Have vouchers bought in November last year, phoned today to see if they would honour them . Apparently no. 30 pounds down the drain. Not happy . Shocking . Bought in good faith. Won’t be back

Large table for birthday celebrations, as friendly as the staff were there would be half an order taken then checking another table, coming back and then needing to direct another waiter to the correct table - would have been nice to get full attention whilst taking orders and clearing tables. Waited a long time for the bill but lovely gesture of a free drink for my partners 30th.Social distancing was nowhere near adhered to, at least 40 people crammed into the area at the back, masks not been worn correctly by staff and who I expect was the manageress not wearing a mask at all. Food was fresh, chicken chaat and paneer pakora were mega overcooked and dry from what I tried personally.Decent value for money, but there are much better Indians around.

Mango is one of my favourite restaurants, food is great and staff are always friendly and helpful. The reason I haven’t marked 5 stars is - I recently ate here since their reopening from COVID-19 and there didn’t appear to be much of an effort in regards to social distancing and some staff members were removing their masks to speak, had their mask sitting under their chin or handling my card to process a contactless payment which made me feel uncomfortable.

Called tonight about 5pm and managed to get a table for 6:30pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were taken straight to our table. Decor is nice and tables are nicely spaced. Food was excellent and service was quick. Recommend the chicken tikka.

I can't rate Mango highly enough. We have ordered takeaway for delivery 3 times in the last few weeks and not only has the food arrived in rapid time and piping hot, it's well packaged and screams quality.Now for the best bit - the food! We have tried several dishes from the Indian selection and one of the italian pasta dishes. They were all very good quality and decent sized portions. I really like the skewered chicken tikka and I love the chicken maharaja tikka masala curry too. I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant for a meal when lockdown is over.

Had a takeaway last week Saturday (20th June), amazing food and service from mango always. Really really enjoyed my meal and would 100% recommend mango

I've had many Indian meals from Mango and always enjoyed them. We decided to try from their Italian menu and order a pizza takeaway. Unfortunately it'll probably be the last time we order from that side of the menu. The size of the pizza was fine, but it just lacked any real flavour. There was a lack of base sauce to start and the cheese just didn't taste of anything really. There were some herbs mixed through, but it wasn't enough to save this poor excuse for a pizza. For £11, I expected something a little better than this tbh.

Have had many takes aways, never get the same thing twice, never comes to the same total either. Sometimes stone cold. After being insulted by management a while back, we reluctantly ordered again in Dec 2019 (in a patch for an urgent meal); that was our last order - it was virtually inedible.Management are rude, and more interested in their mobile than customers. Recently Mango have deleted my comments from their Facebook page, as I have critisied their resolute to remain open during the Covid19 crisis. I wouldn't recommend anyone lines the pockets of this company. There are better options available, with far better standard of cuisine, service and concern for public safety.

Popped in for our first visit on a damp & dreich Sunday and the setting, food and staff at Mango fair cheered us up and brought a smile to our faces. The food was fab, the service was first class and the ambience and decor were lovely too. The lunch menu is truly excellent value and we will be back soon to enjoy this wee gem very soon.

My son treated me and Diane to dinner at Mango to celebrate my birthday. We found the place to be very nice and friendly the food was great and it wasn't priced out of the market. The service was exactly as I would have expected it to be. A busy full restaurant right in the middle of the Corona virus scare says a lot!

Visited for the first time yesterday to have lunch. Biggest let down was the dining plates being cold which meant the food (pasta) got cold very quickly. The food is tasty and inexpensive. Just need to get the basics right.

I have been dining at Mango's for a couple of years now and found the food to be consistently excellent. I just visited last week and took a new friend who was very pleased with the food and service. Staff are cheery,polite and accomodating. Definately reccommend.

Went to mango tonight for a family celebration, had to wait 20 mins for a table but we hadn’t booked and the staff were very accommodating even though it was peak time. Overall experience was built up and more than matched to our expectations. Food was brilliant and the staff catered to our very needs efficiently. Can notice this establishment is of a very fine standard and I urge them to continue this way in the future. 100% will be back, best food I’ve had in a while.

Went on a Saturday evening for a large family meal to celebrate a retirement. First fault was they could not accommodate all at the one table and we were not told this at the time of booking. Secondly, we were then told they needed the table back by 8pm and again we were not told this at the time of booking. This resulted in us being ushered through to the lounge waiting area which was so busy we couldn't get a seat and therefore ended up having to leave and our evening coming to quite an abrupt end. Food was of awful, not warm and certainly didn't leave feeling I had eaten a good meal. An evening of celebration ruined due to the restaurant trying to accommodate too many people on a Saturday night. I will not be back.

Lovely surroundings inside with a luxurious feel. Delicious food - really enjoyed my korma. Don't feel rushed. The Indian / Italian menu just seems to work which is good for when we cant agree what to have. Good for couples, meeting with friends or special occasions. Already booked to go back again soon.

I think this restaurant looks good but is just a facade. The food is not that great at all, especially when there is better competition in the area. This restauranrt is avaerge at best. The Dalshannon Farm in Condorrat is the best there is, and they have won awards fpr both service and food. This joint is another drop in the ocean. Don't go. Plus, service is SLOW!

Myself and workmates, booked Mango for Xmas buffet night. Excellent price, food was ok. DJ and music was a good mixture. Think there could have been more decorations. Eg on tables. Maybe DJ could have played a couple of more games, the one he played was a good laugh. Also somewhere to hang coats would be a good idea. Would recommend

My wife and i were out for a drive between Christmas and New Year, and stopped at Mango for some lunch. We had to eat of the al cart as the lunch menu was not available. This was not a problem, we had the chicken pakora and chicken puri to start, both very good, we were given poppadoms and 3 different dips, our mains were lamb rogan josh and chilli chicken both with nan bread. This was mistake as 2 nan breads were too much.

When it first opened it really was a great place to go to for great quality food and service. However, last couple of visits have been very disappointing, with poor value starters, tasteless mains, and shortage of desserts. It’s a real pity as well as the staff are so nice. C’mon guys you really need to get back in the game!

First visit of 2020. Tried the Indian selection off the fixed price (£9.95) menu. Good value for money and really great quality food. Service really good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Well, where do I start? Driving towards the motorway and needed to eat. Couldn't face an overpriced service station so we turned off into Bonnybridge to find a pub to have lunch. Not impressed with the local hostelries but then we stumbled across 'Mango'. What a fantastic place!

Had lunch with my wife on Saturday 14th December, 2 course for £9.95 each. The food was good we ordered from the Indian Menu, had chicken & vegetable pakora to start followed by South Indian Garlic chicken & Lagan Ki Boti, For Dessert we both had Tiramisu all for £30.00 Fantastic will definitely be back.

Family celebrations for my Sister’s 30th and thought we’d try Mango given the reviews we had heard and it was different from where we would normally go.

Once again a terrific night with my family my fourth visit within 16 months getting to be a habit when visiting Denny, I live in South of Italy. We all had different dishes each one most enjoyable and service very good.

I have been visiting this restaurant, almost weekly, since it opened in 2016..It was, until recently, my number one choice for Indian/Italian food in the area. However, over the last few months, the food quality has declined and the portions shrunk accordingly. I ordered a delivery and waited for it to arrive. It was a Saturday night, so I knew it would take a little while to arrive. I ordered and waited for over an hour...nothing. When it finally arrived, it was stone cold! There was no dipping sauce with the Pakora, not a good start. I had ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh, I have no idea what I got but it wasn't their normal Rogan Josh. In fact, it was like no other Rogan Josh I have ever had. Chapatis were tiny and thin, so much so that they dried up and became crispy before I could eat the second one. My wife's Paratha was also small and not worth the cost. Both meals had to be re-heated in the microwave before we could eat them. Both tasted bland too, with only a handful of actual lamb, more sauce. We called the restaurant to complain but they were too busy to deal with it at the time, although they did take our number and promise to call back when things were quieter. A few weeks later and we are still waiting for a callback. Sorry, but I consider this poor customer service and I won't be visiting Mango again. It really needs to get back to it's opening standards, which were high.

This is the best restaurant I have been to!!!! I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was amazing. The waitress who served us was very nice and helpful. Would recommend 100%

Very poor service, despite having pre booked and being first in. Long delays from drinks order, to main meal order, between courses and desserts. Soup was lukewarm and curry sauce no better. Disappointing standards from many previous good experiences. Duty Manager response was for us to fill in feedback card!! Doubtful if we will be back. Management need to do do better on standards.
