Food was nothing special, got shown to a table near the open door , very draughty. It was overpriced as well.

One of our local haunts, and somewhere we always come back to. Fantastic menu, great staff and awesome location!

I absolutely love this place! Never disappoints! BEST in Falkirk. Looking for straight-up classic Italian? Look NO further. Beautiful dishes, cooked authentically, and served with genuine love and care. In all the years I've been going there, its been superb, and never heard a bad word locally! Shining jewel in the Falkirk restaurant crown. Lush!

Lovely fresh italian vegetarian selection We tried this place for takeaway on recommendation from my local vegan friend, because we'd been eating too much meat lately and wanted a change. Excellent suggestion, as we were able to get some great tasting italian food. Obviously with us having takeaway it wasn't eaten as fresh out the kitchen as it could have been, but even still it was a real treat. Bruschetta, 8/10, perfectly balanced mix of salt oil and basil on fresh juicy tomatoes. They thoughtfully packed the bread separately from the tomatoes, so it wasn't soggy by the time we ate it. Mushroom fritti, 6/10, these were OK, but felt they were a bit plain, lacking the something extra to make them more interesting. Fusili paesana, 7/10, decent pasta dish, nice mix of vegetables, but the tomato sauce was a bit too basic to really make this dish stand out. Asparagus, 8/10 perfectly tender for the most part, good balance of simple seasoning, letting the natural flavour of the vegetable shine. At only £4 for this side dish, it was a real bargain too. Profiteroles, 7/10, plenty of cream and plenty of chocolate sauce, these were a great end to the meal. Overall, we found the food here to be simple, yet satisfying. There was nothing that really stood out as exceptional, but it was certainly better than just OK. Worth a second sit-down, for sure.

The medallions of fillet beef with rosemary jus, risotto and fries was stunning. I visited with my sister Helen several times at Christmas. All our meals were excellent.

Amazing food. We got the antipasto for 2 and it was huge, had to leave some only to try and save space for my main course. The flavours are delicious and its quick, friendly service without feeling rushed. I would definitely recommend.

Good food, staff were judging our appearances and what my other half was ordering from there menu felt like we weren't on there level clientele or welcome anyway, don't judge book by it's cover. Moving on Price was reasonable. No parking ,tight for wheelchair users, tight access to bathroom overall if your down near the retail park it's convenient

Great food and service. One of the best in Falkirk.

Really nice place this. Comfortable and warm. Nice place for a get together. Service is really good, and food on the whole is very nice. Just a few wee things. Firstly, the hand cut chips are really poor. £4.50 for a tiny cup of mainly thin scrags isn't good. Hand cut chips, kind of expecting nice big thick ones, not things just bigger than french fries. Friends also had chips with their mains and again were expecting better. Also, I had steak, and one of my pet hates, is being charged extra for a sauce. Steaks, which are really expensive to start with, costing nearly £4 extra for a sauce is ridiculous. Also be careful, with "optional" service charge of 10% added. For an already expensive meal, this can add a fair wee bit onto bill, if you don't pay attention. Not sure why this is done, if it's optional. Should be left to the customers discretion. Overall, food was mostly nice, and service was great, but I have to say, a bit expensive.

We celebrated our son’s birthday here and it was great. We were treated very well, staff were very accommodating. The pasta was homemade, the pizzas were all authentic even on the kids menu. Kids loved the Bombolinos dessert! Highly recommend.

We were treated spectacularly, the food and ambience were top class and the service was simply next level brilliance. First visit to this Italian restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great menu spanning the usual pizzas, the standard pasta and some interesting sounding specials. And good value too.

Absolutely shocking service, the waiter was rude to us when we kindly asked to be seated, no manners, very disrespectful, please avoid at all cost.

This restaurant never disappoints staff are super helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever a bother and they are always very welcoming accommodating and relaxed. Food is always amazing even the side salad is fab. Always enjoy going here. Just called to book again and I wasn’t sure of numbers :- again it was not a problem just confirm later. Love it here and would definitely recommend.

Steak sent back undercooked twice. Third time steak overcooked not enjoyable! No mention of a free dessert or a free steak because it was awful. Not good at all. Won’t be back. Very arrogant and didn’t ask how meal was because it clearly wasn’t good!!!

We have visited Cafe Corvina on several occasions and always had great food and great service. Tonight, we had a take out and it was 10 out of 10. Ordered for 7:30pm and ready for pick up, fresh at 7:30. The food was piping hot and excellent . As I said 10 out of. 10

Tried this restaurant for the first time and they found us a table for 2. The waiter suggested a dish that was lovely, we added focaccia rosmarino as a side which was delicious.

A little bit expensive but as a special time worth the experience

Visited with a group of friends at lunchtime. Superb food. We will certainly be visiting Corvina next time we are in Falkirk.

we went out for a birthday dinner, staff was great until having to pay, we were a couple pound short and instead of politely telling us we were short, he aggressively came up onto our table raising his voice and demanding the money immediately, i personally gave him 20 cash and instead of returning the change into my hand he threw it on the table aggressively and walked away, and whilst leaving he was making comments about us stating “IF WE CANT AFFORD DONT COME” and also trying to secretly put a £30 tip on the bill and when asked to remove tip they proceeded to act in a non ethical way

Amazing food and kid friendly staff

We were there with friends, everything was great, a bit costly £300 fo 6 of us, with 2 bottles of wine) but no complaints, the food was amazing with large portions.

We are travelling through U.k for two weeks, and by chance we’d stayed in falkirk. Me and mu family had our best dinner since we arrived in uk. Great pizza, great pasta, great wine and the best host ever!

This was my family's first time in Cafe Cornvina and it was amazing, beautiful on the inside, attentive, tradition waiters with speedy service but not so quick that you felt rushed. It is the type of place that suits all the family, but gives very romantic date night vibes too! We will definetly be back.

Decided to have dinner here while passing. Although we hadn't booked in advance, staff were very helpful and found us a table. Nice decor and atmosphere inside. Good choice of dishes. Food is delicious.....really enjoyed our meals. Will definitely visit again.

Good food, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere

First rate in all aspects. We were a party of five, all new to Cafe Corvina and we were all impressed, with the experience. A genuine and warm welcome followed by being quickly seated in an ideal circular booth, which meant each person could be heard and hear everyone else. Drinks and food ordering was easy and service speedy. Fifteen plates came to our table and all of them looked and tasted really good. Overall, an excellent experience and the next time we are in Falkirk we hope to visit again. Thank you to all at Cafe Corvina.

My first time here visiting the other half's family as we are now in England. Service was fantastic. Very welcoming. Restaurant was very busy. Staff were busy and very smart. Food was lovely. The calamari was amongst some of the best I have tasted. The pizzas looked a little dry but they were eaten and enjoyed. Gluten free option available on the pizzas as my sister in law (nearly) is gluten intolerant. My main was fantastic. Smoked salmon and king prawn gamberoni I think it was called. The carbonara looked delicious too. Pudding was only eaten by one of our party which was a mango 🥭 sorbet which looked delicious. Would definitely go again. Definitely recommend 👌

Tasty food, fast service, cozy athmosphere. It was pretty busy, so the first time I requested cheese and spicy oil I was forgotton. However the second waiter quickly delivered. They had a few birthdays on the evening we visited and a lively vibe hung in the restaurant. Lovely!

£70 for 4 pizzas and teas. Pizza was basically just tomato sauce with no cheese. Scabby food. Won’t ever be back here - save your money for better food! Was also overcharged on the bill

Had my daughters Baby Lunch there yesterday and I can't praise Cafe Corvina enough. There's was 23 of us and the waiters made it smooth and relaxing. The food delicious and served quickly. I didn't get the name of our main waiter but he was fabulous so well done Cafe Corvina ♥️

Cafe Corvina is our favourite restaurant and have been going here for years. Food is great and the staff are so lovely. Have never had to complain about anything. So when thinking about where to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary where else would we go. There was 24 of us. Everything was perfect. The service, the food, perfect. Everyone had a lovely time and told us on how much they enjoyed their meal. Menu had a great selection.

This is without doubt a very well run business. I have been going there for four years with local residents and the food has been generally very good accompanied by friendly, professional management and staff. But, the menu never varies so is beginning to feel very tired. Some weekly specials would fix this.

Absolutely lovely dinner, cant fault them on anything. Presentation for the antipasto was really quirky, it was a meal on its own and my favourite Saltimbocca alla Romana was delicious, no room for dessert i was stuffed. Thanks guys was amazing.

Update May 2024: Returned for lunch. Again food and service amazing. Went for late lunch. Food was amazing. I had veal with mushroom and tarragon sauce. Will definitely return.

The cuisine is excellent. The service is also great. The waiter even speaks German, Greek, Italian, English and other languages. The starter was also great. The pizzas are excellent. The espresso tasted good too.

First time in Falkirk visiting with friends form Denmark. Was a perfect meal and the service was amazing. Lovely people. Will be back.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is fantastic and the staff are brilliant, always so helpful and friendly. It is also great value for money. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in the area by far.

Came here with my girlfriend to have a nice dinner, she was very happy with her carbonara and i must agree that it was splendid, however, i ordered an americana pizza and am very sorry to say that the sauce (purely barbecue) was overly sweet, and became overpowering. What’s more is that the chicken gave me food poisoning, i do not regret the meal there as the ambience and staff were all very friendly, but the busy kitchen must have made a small mistake

The food was amazing. Service was fab. The only thing I would say is the portion size isn't fantastic considering the price of some of the dishes. But that's just me picky. I absolutely love this restaurant. One of the best in Falkirk.

Excellent food and service, would definitely go back

Don't often write reviews but our experience yesterday definitely merited one. We enjoyed a lovely family lunch with great food and a really friendly waiter. Our booking was for 1.30pm and we left at 3.30pm. We were the only customers left but until we saw the hours on the door as we closed it behind us none of us had realised it was supposed to close for the afternoon at 2.30pm! No one harassed us, hurried us or even mentioned that they were due to close up. Hats off to the staff for their excellent customer service and for putting up with us wasting an hour of their free time without even a sigh or an eye roll. Next time we'll check the opening hours before booking!!

I really wouldn’t have expected to have found such a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant in Falkirk, but we did. Amazing food, generous portions and fairly priced. Service was great too with busy, friendly waiting staff.

Much anticipated return visit. Staff very helpful and good banter. Food was as delicious as I remembered. That salmon & prawn pasta mmm. My friends pizza looked amazing, not a crumb left. Delicious glass of house red to go with my pasta dish. This place is definetly worth the drive from Glasgow.

I called to order takeout last night, just a pizza which came to 10.50. After ordering I was told cash only which I advised I am 2 minutes away from restaurant and only have card. I have ordered the same a few times with no problem by card so thought this would be fine again. I was then told the machine was broken so had to he cash, found that strange as my family were in the restaurant at the time and paid by card so I questioned asking is it because my order is to low? To which he replied yes partly because of that. No mention on website of a minimum spend. I said I will have to leave it as I only have card and I was rudely told “just use just eat in future” in reference something I can afford, as a customer for a number of years I will not be back.

Food was absolutely delicious, served quickly and the staff were very friendly, really knowledgable about the dishes (I’m veggie) and helpful. Lots of vegetarian options. Had a really lovely evening and will definitely be back. Tiramisu was amazing.

Fabulous restaurant, great for a meeting point fir friends between Edinburgh and Glasgow, excellent food and service.

I can only give my review for the service because I never had the opportunity to try the food, they totally ignore us even though I've asked twice for my order, so after 25 minutes waiting for 2 cappuccinos, we left. Disgraceful, I won't be back.

Booked for Mother's Day for 7 of us and the waiting staff could not have been more attentive. High quality ingredients were evident in the taste of all our dishes, as was the skill to make them. We all had something different and to hit the mark in each individual case is nothing short of remarkable for it's novelty when compared to our recent experiences in various chain restaurants. A fantastic evening was had by all and we expressed our appreciation to the staff upon leaving. We will return, perhaps for a family gathering when the weather improves.

We enjoyed a beautiful lunch today for my daughter-in-laws Baby Shower,the staff were lovely friendly and attentive and the food was so so tasty best carbonara I've tasted.

First time I’ve been for a while, food and service was tremendous, all the staff make you feel so welcome. Lobster Ravioli was excellent as was everything else that was ordered. Won’t wait so long to go back.

4 of us there for my sons birthday, we got a booking no problem at lunchtime. But it did get busy.. They were Pleasant, we received our drinks quick and ordered a main meal only which arrived without waiting to long. Everyone enjoyed their meal but for the price we expected more, we felt it was expensive. We asked for our bill and paid. After leaving and at home we checked our bill of £93.50. We found written at the bottom of the bill an optional service charge of £8.50. it wasn't Optional because we weren't asked. Surely Optional means we get an option (asked)

We booked this restaurant for a large group following a run. We all turned up in running kit after completing a fairly long slog but received a really warm and friendly welcome. The service was absolutely spot on and the really delicious food was served quickly. All in all a wonderful experience in Falkirk, thank you

Wonderful food with excellent service. Had a delicious dinner with my children after getting a short notice booking on a Friday evening. Very friendly service and a perfect venue for families.

A good venue with quite a bit of space. Food was good as was the service. The bruschetta with fresh tomato was delicious. Mushroom and other starters were good. Mains, we had the arrabiatta with chicken which was good. Others had steak, prawns and various other meals which were all enjoyed. Desserts were the sticky toffee pudding and the sharing platter looked spectacular. The issue here is the 10% service charge added to a bill of over £200 for 6 people. Dinner beware. This is optional supposedly but unless you pay attention and decline you will be stung.

Excellent menu as we were torn between pasta and pizza. The sharer option was perfect and a really good portion too. The pizza base was light and typically 'italoan', along with the toppings. The carbonara was mouthwatering and even better with the parmesan and touch of black pepper 🤤 very very good! All accompanied by a glass of Montepulliano and of course served by a great team of very tentative staff! Thanks guys!
