5 tables and we were told 45 mins wait. Not that express after all.

first time at Pizza Express. We decided to go there as I was told that pizzas were very thin base which I prefer. I had one of the larger Guiseppe pizzas and my family two regulars. All were quite tasty but undercooked sadly. By the time my family spoke up we had already started eating so decided not to mention to staff as we didn't want to appear as troublemakers but sadly probably wont return.

Unfortunately only average today. The pizza is nice but a little burnt around the edges and we found it quite expensive at £3.55 for a 330ml of coke!!! Asda along the road would be less than £1! The restaurant was clean and what you would expect for a pizza express

had lunch on Sunday afternoon 7th July 2024. Everything was fantastic, the food, service and very attentive staff was way beyond what we expected

My son had his birthday party here just last week! The party was hosted by Kirby and Stano, who were amazing! There was not a dull moment at the party, the kids sat down to have their starters before washing their hands and putting on aprons and hats to get ready to be mini chefs! There were 28 kids at the party and the staff handled this very well! They made their pizzas themselves with help from staff and got to choose their own toppings. There also was a best pizza award which had the children excited to design their pizza! yhey had options available for children who are veggie, non dairy! The children then handed their pizzas over to the chefs and washed their hands to sit back down again. Unlimited amounts of squash served at the table with balloon decorations and colouring in worksheets where they could design their own pizzas. Once the pizzas were severed and I was going around the tables to check on the kids they all kept a saying how AMAZING the party was and how amazing their pizza is! After their meal they had dessert served which looked really fancy and the kids all enjoyed it! A huge thank you to KIRBY AND STANO and other staff who made the my sons birthday the talk of his class! I highly recommend pizza express birthdays for anyone who is looking!

I had my 10th birthday here it was so good we made our own pizzas and got to eat them also my friends have not stopped talking about how good the party was sooo good!!

We went there to eat, obviously, and looked at the opening times 15 minutes before arriving there. But as we stood in front of the restaurant it looked open but was closed without any notice and a manager on his laptop was sitting in the middle of the restaurant and ate. After entering the store since there wasn't any sign that forbid that he yelled at us that they are closed and we need to leave now. Wasn't it possible to change the opening times on Google or at least to put up a sign at the door?

My order never turned up! Waited over 2 hours for it as well! Driver steals your food! Phoned the restaurant to be told the driver left with my order at 5.20… I called at 7. Cheeky drivers marks it as delivered at 8.15 but puts the estimated delivery time as 6.15! Hope you choked on my pizza

I took my daughter here. They managed to squeeze us in at a table even though they were very busy. The staff were brilliant.

Small portions for the money, all food was just average taste wise

Unfortunately the whole meal was a disaster. It was freezing to start with. We went for a Mother’s Day, 4 of us. We got the mothers day 2 course for £17.95 which at the end was not that price even with the PizzaExpress members card. Very slow service when it wasn’t even that busy. The dough “balls” in the shape of hearts were very disappointing. It looked like three small disfigured cookies. The beetroot bowl was a total disappointment. Only had 4 half peaces of a beetroot which had complained about and got showed the food prep procedure that the dish only contains 60g of beetroot. The plate was just full of spinach! I loved PizzaExpress at Fort Kinnaird and North Bridge but this branch was a total disappointment especially on a special day like Mothers Day.

Delivery was speedy which was amazing! Unfortunately the cannelloni was not even lukewarm so disappointed with the quality.

When you order tripple the estimated delivery time and you will have a better idea of when the food will arrive. When it does it will be cold.

I'm still waiting to hear about a refund for this order. It arrived cold and the dessert was missing. I have already submitted a complaint but have yet to hear anything from you.

Decided to walk in as a party of 4 after the cinema to have some pizza at 6.45pm on a Sunday evening only to be met with the manager at the door who asked us if we had a reservation, we said no and he refused to seat us as he said he didn’t have enough staff and that he was closing early? The restaurant was empty and had at most 15 people inside… anyways we went to zizzis who sat us no problem and when we walked past after we finished we found that pizza express was still open! Very rude and no wonder no one comes down to ocean terminal anymore!

Youssef served me. And although not very busy, when i visited, he kept the atmosphere warm and hospitable. He was very attentive without hovering. And i couldn't fault him in any aspect of service or helpfulness

Delivery was more than an hour late and there was no garlic bread. Please refund £5.60. Pizza was cold. Absolutely dreadful.

The food was delicious, but delivery was 30 minutes late.

Really enjoyed the nduja calzone. Was very tasty however my friend asked for theirs without chillis and when this was brought over to us, the server got them mixed up so I ended up eating the one without chillis (I was half way through before they noticed the chillis) and my friend struggled with theirs. I really enjoyed the food however and the staff were friendly

Great service from Ola. Food great as usual. Music choice a wee bit invasive for a quiet Sunday evening - just a suggestion not really a criticism.

We had my daughter's 14th birthday party last Sunday at Pizza Express Ocean terminal, and I have to say hands down this was one of the best parties I have ever had for her. I have been to kids parties at other PE restaurants in the past and this far surpassed them. The manager Kirby and the team went all out to make it a perfect day for us. The tables were beautifully laid out with balloons. My daughter has a disability as do as lot of her friends so they laid the tables out with plenty of space and put on extra staff especially for us. We had dough balls inside and then we went to the garden area in the mall to play with the dough and make the pizza bases. The chef came out and helped and the kids enjoyed throwing the dough about. The kids loved it. After, the staff put the pizzas in the oven and we went back inside to eat them. They gave us boxes to take home anything we didn't eat. Then finally we had ice cream. The restaurant made sure there was plenty of space for the adults that wanted to stay to sit too. This was the only pizza express in Edinburgh that could cater for our numbers as we had nearly 20 kids. The food and service was amazing. Final word to my 14 year old daughter, 'Awesome, fabulous, cool. I loved it!' Thanks so much to Kirby and the team for a great day. Unforgettable memories. Thanks xxx

Pizza Express always delivers the goods when it comes to flavour. We love it. Ola was great too, helpful and friendly.

Horrible place. We went there spontaneously around 8pm and were sent away because they were out of food. We thought 'strange for a restaurant, but since we had not made reservations - okay, forgivable'. Fast forward to two days later: this time we did make reservations and turned up on time (party of six) only to be left waiting while the waiter/manager talked to the staff, took telephone calls and arranged menues on a table just to be told that we could eat, but that they were out of pasta, out of onions, out of salad and a few other things that are actually essential for Italian food. During our stay in Scotland and England we ate in several Pizza Express restaurants and they were all very friendly and recommendable, but not the one in the Ocean Terminal EVER AGAIN!

For the price the pizza size was very small And all the ingredients where pasted on the box lid, it's necessary to put tiny tablets to hold the top side of the box.

While visiting Edinburgh, this location was very convenient as I wanted to see the Britannia, anchored just meters from it. Food was top, as usual in this favourite chain of mine, but the place needs maintenance (the furniture is even broken), it looks old and therefore not inviting. Service was very good, but not excellent. Personnel were friendly though. I will stay next time only if I see that the place has been taken care of.

The food was far later than expected which led to us missing a show we had booked, we also did not receive the dough balls we ordered. If there any chance these could be refunded please?

Food was good. Menu is a little sparse. We turned up without a reservation but they managed to get us a table. There was a lot of noise coming from the shopping centre that could be heard, throughout our meal.

Waited at over 5 minutes to be welcomed to be told at least 40 minutes for food yet 3 people making pizzas and only half full of customers. Allowed an hour before film more than enough for your average Pizza Express. We left as did the folks behind thats 10 customers they lost. Need to get act together.

This has to be the Pizza Express with the best view in Edinburgh. The food was much better than expected, but the service was slow despite the restaurant being quiet.

We have eaten at Pizza Express, Ocean Terminal, a handful of times and have never been dissapointed. We have always made a booking, thus avoiding dissapointment on arrival. If you're lucky you will be allocated a window table with a terrific view over the water to Western Harbour. Our waitress tonight was Ella, who was very friendly and attentive. The meals we had chosen were delicious. A big shout out to the kitchen Team who worked hard to cope with the volume of diners, in a short window. We look forward to our next visit.

I've been here 3 times and each time has been amazing. I love the staff, always friendly. The food is pricy but you get what you pay for YUMMMMY! I absolutely love the pizzas 😍😍😍 and the doughballs omg! Yum! I'm not the greatest when it comes to the app so they help alot. They also helped me save money with my order getting a better deal.

The waiter was rude and blunt and I had food poisoning that night either from the calamari or the chicken pizza. One of the worst nights of my life :( please check your food hygiene and meat storage to prevent others experiencing this!

Thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable Delia for all of your recommendations of things to do in Edinburgh, and thanks to the rest of the team for a lovely meal! We enjoyed trying the paneer tikka pizza. It's really refreshing and pleasant to see paneer in a non-indian setting as it's such an underrated ingredient. It was a great pizza - the mango chutney I could honestly take or leave as I wasn't used to this with paneer, but it wasn't unwelcome or unpleasant. The vegan options are always great too, we enjoyed the Forza. Pizza express is very well equipped for vegan options, there's a great range. Cheers!

They seemed to be struggling for drivers so took a bit longer than normal, although I wasn't too bothered by that. However, there was hardly any tomato sauce on the base so it was like eating pizza base and cheese. As such I wouldn't be tempted to order from here again, sorry.

Delicious pizzas! Our pizzas came out perfect and hot with generous toppings. Our server Rai was very attentive and really good with kids - so much so we think this might be our favourite branch now, and we've tried them all! It also has a lovely view over the Forth.

After my review regarding the restaurant in north bridge which doesn't allow me to have my crisps with my meal. I was contacted by the communication team saying it was not in their policy to not allow customers eating crisps. They offered me 2 meals for the inconvenience. Hence I gave this restaurant another shot but I still avoided the north bridge one. This time I went to the ocean terminal one I went to this restaurant 2 months ago with my mom and really it had no relationship with the north bridge one. One this restaurant was fantastic. I was able to have my own crisp and juice and no one bother me about that. The waitress Sophie is just amazing. so helpful, so kind. Thank you very much and please continue to be so outstanding. Update: It is my pleasure to share with people the truth about the best place to visit and where to eat. So of course, I will definitely visit you again in the future, with friends and family :). Thanks again.

For the price I was expecting more. The pizza base was tough and chewy, the sauce was really bland and basically tasted like tomato puree. Probably the worst PE pizza I've ever had
