It was a really wonderful surprise. In addition to the great pizza, the service was as friendly and attentive as we could ask for. When they saw me with my little daughter they brought me crayons and paper - they even gave me the crayons for free for her! I couldn't believe it. If you are in the mall or even in the neighbourhood, I recommend this place to stop, eat well and enjoy the wonderful views.

Enjoyed meal and service, only complaint the extras portion of mushrooms on the pizza was miniscule given the charge.

The food and service have been improved. The extra heat has been installed what is extremely important in winter time for the place. Few more heaters will be installed. Good idea for the bussiness. Ask for Menager Marek very helpful and good personality very well care about people. Good manners. Recommended. .

Haven’t been to Zizzis for ages was super impressed with the new menu and Marek who looked after us was a delight and looked after ours kids meals and kept them happy we will be back !!

Order via user eats.. pizza ball not left to rise at the right point... pizza cooked at a high temperature... it practically arrived home half raw... a total mess... put specialized chefs in the kitchen and not bricklayers!!!!!!!

I've been here an awful lot - for ages there was no where else to go. I've found staff are generally friendly and the food generally good. If you want to modify the menu - like ordering a creamy pasta dish without the cream -they are very good. [Update: May 2023] I no longer come here an awful lot but they sent me a birthday offer (tip: join their club) so I accepted. It was as good. Friendly staff, flexible food and I really appreciate a menu designed for a conscious eater. I don't know what the future of Ocean Terminal is but I'm pleased to see this Zizzi still here. [Update: December 2024] Absolutely worth joining Zillionaire Club

Siempre pedí al dente para mi pasta pero no he tenido nada parecido a al dente durante mucho tiempo. La pasta demasiado cocida no sabe bien y arruina todo el plato. Gracias.

Lovely venue, but quiet & the food wasn’t upto much at all. Ordered garlic bread at £6.50 each, which was very dry. Also ordered & paid £16 each for a lasagne, which was very small & not the best lasagne I’ve had. A strange taste to it, poss not tomatoee enough! Overall, a lot of money for what we got. Service was excellent & the waiters/waitresses were very attentive.

We first visited this Zizzis on holiday last year and ended up here again. Wonderful super thin, crisp crust pizza and ample toppings. Friendly service (thanks Tara!). Nice view with the unexpected appearance of a submarine and another military vessel alongside the restaurant. I’m not a big pizza eater but I love Zizzis and so does my pizza loving husband.

Surprised by some of the negative reviews. Had a great time eating here. Very friendly staff, quick service, delicious food, and decent prices for the area.

Tried some nice pasta and classic pizza along with beer. Great food, along with the atmosphere, however, the service can definitely be improved.

I recently had a piece of cake and a drink at Zizzi in Ocean Terminal. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have gluten-free options for desserts, which was a nice surprise. Also, the view from the restaurant is amazing, overlooking the port at Leith.

Tara is very kind, personable and efficient. For us French it was much simpler. Very good meal with a nice menu

Buen servicio. Camarero excelente, muy paciente y logró encontrar chips sin gluten como guarnición. Buenas vistas al puerto. Buena posición para el cine después. Pedí pizza sin gluten y realmente disfruté. Así que una coca, pizza y lado de patatas fritas £ 24 - muy cerca de ser de mala relación calidad-precio. Sin embargo, en general satisfecho con el servicio y el ambiente que recomendaría.

The food is not bad here but the atmosphere is a bit different as this whole area is under construction nearby. It felt a little hollow here with so many empty seats. Hopefully business will pick up once the construction finishes up for good.

Large open space, with a nice view of the harbor. Service was great thanks Aleks, you were great! Food excellent Italian dishes, nice wines. Just a nice evening of eating out.

Normalmente me gusta Zizzi, pero tuve una mala experiencia en esta sucursal en particular. Hice una reserva para una cena de celebración para mi familia de 4. Cuando aparecimos para nuestra reserva a las nueve y media, inmediatamente nos dijeron que no iban a tomar más clientes. Era obvio que no éramos bienvenidos, pero mencioné la reserva y nos llevaron a regañadientes a una mesa. De camino a la mesa, el servidor me dijo que cerrarían en cuarenta minutos. Como las reservas en línea iban hasta las diez, esto era confuso. Decidí irme porque una comida apresurada con personal infeliz no era atractivo en absoluto. El servidor se encontró con nosotros cuando nos fuimos y parecía claramente feliz cuando dijimos que habíamos decidido ir a otro lugar. Me quejé en línea diciendo que "Las reservas solo deberían ser posibles hasta un período razonable de tiempo antes de que el restaurante cierre". No es suficiente para hacerme volver a esta sucursal ya que nuestra tarde se arruinó. También creo que esta sucursal de Zizzi tiene una sensación de patio de comidas, además de que se requiere que utilice los baños externos del centro comercial. Otras ramas tienen una atmósfera mucho mejor.

Good food, nothing amazing, well located.

Tasty food and excellent service by Linda. The restaurant has a lovely sea view and is spacious. Ocean terminal building itself could be a bit better. After the shops close its quite dark and seems un-inviting. More lights and colour perhaps?

"We don't serve on the terrace" - and 10 people outside with drinks on the terrace. Your cool styled Staff should focus on core Business = their guests. Expensive, impolite - avoid it!

Rather dead here at ocean terminal. The restaurant was almost empty. Service was OK. However tables were sticky and everything felt like it needed a good deep clean. Food was OK. I love a Zizzi pizza but this was very average. Base felt a bit limp and undercooked. For the money I expect better.

This was a disappointing visit. After we were shown to a table we were left for ages. We had to ask a member of staff if we could order tea and coffee. The insulated glasses that the beverage was served in meant it took quite a while for the drinks to cool enough to drink. We weren't impressed

I go to Zizzis in Leith all the time, today again I have been served by lovely Linda (who is my favourite person in the world!!), I absolutely love the food, the staff, the views are amazing. Definitely recommend!!

Zizzi serves mouthwatering pizza and lasagne against a backdrop of a captivating sea view. Food was not only delicious but the atmosphere was also ideal for a delightful dining experience.

I don't think the food was bad tasting, it was good, however some toppings (pepperoni) were more preserved and processed possibly less fresh than others on the pizza. The portion size was large. View good, service friendly and not many people. Price was around £2.5 higher than what I would have paid.

The restaurant has nice servers and a decent view, but it is located in a rather depressing mall. There are several vegan options on the menu, which I think is great. However, they're not very good (from what I've seen in other reviews, there other food isn't much better). The vegan meatless meatballs were acceptable but quite dry. The vegan mozzarella  they used for the pizza tasted like béchamel. As for the vegan rainbow lasagne, it could have been ok if they'd used something like fried aubergine instead of frozen spinach for the filling, but, with the spinach, it was pretty much the same as a frozan lasagne from a supermarket that has been defrosted in the microwave. The tuscan-style potatoes were decent, but quite generic. The Zillionaire's fudge cake was fine, but you should order it without the honeycomb pieces because they are ridiculously sticky and absolutely inedible. Finally, the raspberry collins cheesecake is ok, but nothing special. All in all, the food was ok, and the ambience too, but I wouldn't pick this place over any of the local vegan/vegetarian places in Edinburgh, Newhaven or Leath. In conclusion, you can eat vegan food here, and it probably won't kill you (unless you try to chew and swallow the honeycomb pieces).

Firstly the food was horrible. Pizzas, paper thin with close to no topping. The service was embarrassing, one of the waiters kept starting at us and the waitress with blue hair started rolling a cigarette at the table! Never coming here again.

Poor vegetarian options. Miniature, mediocre ravioli. Still hungry, went elsewhere to top up. Hope Zizi pays multiple city rates for the sea views. Wife's mushroom risotto was tasteless.

The waitress Linda was very friendly, chatty and catered for all our needs. She made us feel very welcome and made our visit really pleasurable. Will definitely be back.

The Vegan food was the best we have had in a very long time. Both Pizzas and Pastas were sublime and the Tuscan Potatoes were to die for. The service was very good and extremely friendly.

Servers were lovely but I felt the service itself was slightly slow! The food was lovely and I would visit again just hopefully the service would be just that little bit quicker

Very tasty food, very attentive service and the view of the harbor is quite nice. It's just not necessarily comfortable because of the large hall in which you sit. And you have to select the tip directly on the display when paying, which I personally didn't like.

We had lunch at Zizzi after touring the Royal Yacht. Great views, great fod and most of all, great service by Tara !

I went with my friend and our children for her birthday and I am not coming any more. I haven't before and the food and price it is right but the service from one waiter was unacceptable and inappropriate because children were a little noisy. He made us vey uncomfortable and it was excessive his commentary feeling us uncomfortable and judging as a parents when they were told children off. So no go with children no friendly and understanding with them and parents.

Got told someone would come over to seat us as we walked in the door, we were still stood there 10 minutes later, unseated to then be told they couldn’t actually seat us ( there was maybe 5 tables in). Dissapointed

Terrible dinner ! So 1stly we waited ages to be served and it wasn't busy ! When food arrived our pizzas ( paper thin ) had next to no toppings honestly iv never see such a poorly topped pizza ! On top of that it was cold ! Then my wife found a short black curly hair in the cheese ! They replaced the pizza , then we asked for my daughters hot chocolate and ice cream the managed said but that's alot of chocolate.... lol well mate that's non of your business. My Hot melt chocolate pudding came ! Nothing hot about it ! Cold nothing melted ! So i asked for a hot 1 as described in the menu! they put the same one in the microwave hahaha after all this I was still charged full price ! I'll never be back and would suggest you giving this place a miss

This place was fantastic. We visited after visiting HMY Britannia. The menu had a lot of options and they all looked good. We were seated next to windows over looking the water and a boat named Roman Rebel. The service was quick and helpful. The server answered all of our questions and was very friendly. We all enjoyed the food and wine. We will definitely return.

Sadly the quality has lowered dramatically. They’ve either changed recipes or got lazy, because there was barely any sauce in the pasta, so a bowl of dry pasta. And the carbonara was terrible,the coating was bad

What gives these large CO’s the right to decline legal tender ( cash ) and insist on card payment only. Walked down the mall and spent £90 cash with Pizza Express who provided an outstanding meal and great service!!!!

This Zizzi's accepts clubcard vouchers which is a bonus. However, the pizza i ordered the waitress said 'we might not have a certain type of mushroom for it, shall we use normal mushrooms?' which I said was fine but when the pizza came out it was actually missing most of the ingredients! It was nothing more than plain garlic bread with a tiny sprinkling of plain mushrooms and some chillies. I was a bit gutted, especially as the price of it was close to £20! Shame, I've had amazing service from other Zizzi's (especially Cardiff)

Went with a pal before the cinema. We both really enjoyed the food that arrived quickly and were suitably stuffed afterwards. Aleksandra really looked after us and despite how busy they were, she managed to turn up promptly whenever we needed her. We will definitely be back for future cinema trips!

We hadn't been to a Zizzi for a while and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and tasty food. Perfect for a quick meal before the cinema.

Went to Zizzi, Ocean Terminal for lunch today. Used to be regulars here but haven't been since before covid as the food & service had taken a nosedive. No change today. My calzone was warm enough around the edges but stone cold & disgusting inside. I had to sent it back & request they remove it from the bill. My wife's pizza was similarly poor - low quality ingredients, over cooked, dry & a base like cardboard. She couldn't eat more than half of it. When the bill arrived, unsurprisingly, the waitress hadn't removed the charge for the calzone as she said she would so we had to again request it was taken off the bill. The only thing that was acceptable with the whole meal was my diet coke. We paid £20.60 for my Diet Coke and my wife's semi-edible pizza & left. We gave Zizzi another go but shouldn't have wasted our time or money. A disgusting, disgrace of a restaurant these days. We won't be back!

Love this place! Food is really good, the staff are excellent. We were served by Linda and Marek? As a wheelchair user, it is really convenient for me as it is accessible and the staff are really helpful.

After movie afternoon we went for some bite to Zizzi. Unfortunately the food I ordered was raw, seems the chef forgot to put it on the frying pan 😪. I returned the food. They offered me something else but I refused.

Not been to zizzis in years, walked in after going to the cinemas and we were served and got our food quickly! Food was good, staff was lovely and were extra careful with a member of our group who had allergies!

The pizzas we ordered were absolutely delicious!!! Thin and fresh pastry with really tasty toppings giving that authentic Italian flavour. Can’t praise enough the manager who ensured a great atmosphere and took extra care of our table even though the restaurant was very busy. Would 100% recommend.

When ordered chose restaurant due to short delivery time. Once order placed and when checking at start of delivery time noticed order delayed by 40 mins. When delivered the driver was at houses well away from our apartment despite a pin on the map being in the correct place. Food was stone cold on delivery and required heating in the oven. Overall not satisfied with service of just eat.

We had a great meal and the service was good to start with then the poor service started we had decided to have a sweet and a coffee to finish off a really great night but unfortunately not sure if there was a change off staff but it was ridiculously slow waited 10 mins for sweet menus then 20 minutes later we had to look for someone to take our order we had waited so long we decided against desert and my wife had a coffee but they lost money due to time it took to order Shame really because it was a really good meal and service until the end

Great service, but let down by the general decline in Ocean Terminal. Pizza was undercooked and bland compared to Zizzi's usual.

Had a really good time but seemed to be pretty understaffed and staff seemed run off their feet, they were absolutely lovely though and smiled through it. Food was good, calamari was very anemic and not crispy, ordered one gf and one non-gf pizza and was given 2 gf pizzas but in fairness they were very good gf pizzas for a chain.

Went here on Thursday afternoon, wasn't too busy. The staff were great and very attentive, and the view of the Britannia yacht and Firth of Forth were ideal.

Our night was made better by the amazing service and the food was on par with the service as well, me and my partner have worked many years in the industry and we can tell when people are passionate about their work, the servers where very polite and made sure to check on our needs as well as the speedy drinks and service. the food was served in a timely fashion and the view of the water out the giant bay window is a selling point for sure. we have had many sub-par experiences at restaurants across the city in our lives and can for sure say, this is not one of them, highly recommend to anyone wanting a great food/ atmosphere for their night 10/10. special thanks to Torva and crew at ocean terminal for the amazing night.
