Bella Italia in Glasgow City

Nunca me había sentido tan molesto como para escribir una mala crítica sobre nada antes, pero la pizza que pedimos era como masticar tomate - cartón empapado. Si no tuviera hambre/tacaño habría lanzado esa pobre pizza anémica al océano porque sus posibilidades de convertirse en una balsa salvavidas para un hombre que se ahoga son más altas de lo que yo elijo pedir a Bella Italia de nuevo. No sé qué hice para justificar un atentado contra mi vida pero ese bebé está a punto de vencerme. Cuestan más de cinco dólares. En general, una experiencia muy deprimente para mí y mi esposa de jengibre.

Mi novia y yo cogimos una pinta de Coca Cola para beber - cada uno cuesta £ 4. 59 . Compartimos una porción de bolas de masa para comenzar que costó £ 6. 29 - estos sabían bien, pero no eran nada especial. Tengo una pizza que cuesta 13 libras. 49 y mi novia consiguió pasta de pollo funghi que era £ 14. 99 . Compartimos una porción de patatas fritas, costando £ 4. 49 . Me encanta aquí la comida es siempre encantadora, gran gama sin gluten y el servicio es siempre de primera clase. Mi amigo y yo fuimos servidos por Calan y Saskia y eran tan encantadores, muy atentos y eficientes. No tuve que esperar mucho tiempo para comer o beber. Definitivamente volveré. X

Reservamos una mesa en este restaurante temprano en el día, ya que sabíamos que estaría ocupado, ya que era la víspera de Año Nuevo. El restaurante en sí es amplio y espacioso con un buen ambiente. Nos recibieron rápidamente, nos llevaron a nuestra mesa al instante y nos dieron menús. El servicio de la anfitriona fue sincero, amable, atento y profesional. La comida que pedimos se presentó bien, caliente, y sabía delicioso, todo como se esperaba de Bella Pasta. Todos estamos muy familiarizados con esta cadena, así que sepan qué esperar. El restaurante está abierto los 7 días de la semana, 11.00 a 21.00 horas y los viernes y sábados 11.00 a 22.00 horas Las propinas no están incluidas en la factura final, esto queda a su discreción. Muy recomendable.

Fuimos a una comida pre-panto hoy y me sentí obligado a escribir una crítica de inmediato para elogiar a uno de sus miembros del personal (Señora rubia con acento) Estaba increíblemente ocupado todo a la vez y pude ver que tenían poco personal, pero esta señora se mantuvo animada y amable a pesar de que no tuvo un minuto en todo el tiempo que estuvimos. Hubo una espera para nuestra comida, pero era encantador y vino con un montón de disculpas. Lo único que diría es que no había música de fondo. No estoy seguro de si esta es la norma, pero sentí que necesitaba algo. Volvería como era una buena relación calidad-precio.

Fiancée and I took our 3 kids for Christmas lunch, food was good. Not the most authentic and amazing Italian food you would get if you paid more, but for what we paid it was value for money. The staff were incredibly nice and made an effort with the kids which made it a great experience for them. Credit where credit due, value for money and some nice food as well. Also… great pint of Stella which is always a winner.

Went here for lunch was overpriced and food was basic. For 3 lunches and 3 drinks (soft) was almost £80. My starter was very poor size (mushrooms) lasgna had one sheet of pasta with a ragu sauce. Very poor

Reserve una mesa aquí para 7 . 30 un domingo por la noche con 3 amigos. El restaurante estaba vacío cuando llegamos y no se hicieron más reservas mientras estábamos allí (un grupo vino y pidió una mesa, pero fueron rechazados) Posteriormente no hay ambiente alguno. La comida era muy pobre, 3 de nosotros pedimos lasaña, que se puede esperar es un básico para un restaurante italiano, era aguada, insípida y en realidad peor que lasañas congeladas que he tenido en casa! El joven que nos atendió era atento y agradable, pero el resto del personal estaba bromeando entre ellos en voz alta y tbh solo parecía en un apuro para cerrar las puertas y llegar a casa!

El lugar estaba helado, nuestro servidor Phillip no era genial. Tardó 1 hora en llegar la red. Nunca nos revisaron y la comida estaba fría. Peor experiencia

Pedí una pizza en línea. Fui a preguntar si estaba listo, me dijeron, no sé nada al respecto. Volví al tiempo asignado para ser completamente ignorado. Me dijeron groseramente después de preguntar que “la pizza no estaba lista!” 2 personas para todo el restaurante, totalmente inaceptable. La gente salía disgustada. Bella Italia ordena tu empresa. No volveré a visitar

Another lovely meal in Bella Italia. As always, looked after by the amazing and genuinely lovely Malina. Marina is so kind, cheery and attentive, we love to have a wee chat with her when we are in, and she has now become our friend. She is the main reason we come here, and off course the food is delicious too.

Hospitality is fantastic, food is delicious with a wide variety of options, and it's nice to have a chat with the staff - Malina is so friendly!

Lamento decir que la comida no es una gran experiencia! Son ping & pierce las comidas de tenedor compradas y puestas en una sartén o plancha de parrilla sartén con ingredientes secos añadidos casi como comida TUI a largo plazo todo se compra en congelados incluyendo la masa de pizza tal lástima como esta solía el Dinos uno de los mejores italianos auténticos en Glasgow en los 80

Close-by to the hotel we were staying in, so it was handy for us. We booked this time online as last time we couldn't get in. It's always really busy, so booking is advisable. The service was friendly and the food was just ok, nothing special. My mum was happy to be able to order a smaller portion (a half pizza with salad) as she doesn't eat much these days. My vegetarian pizza was alright, but I think they must have forgotten to take the outside layer of skin off the red onion before slicing it and putting it on the pizza. If I hadn't had given up chewing it, I'd still have been there right now with a sore pair of jaws.

This was a pleasant meal with friendly staff at a cheap price, it also was perfect for my carbonara obsession. The set menu was also really easy and meant that the food came out even cheaper so I highly recommend. But the carbonara while still good was not as good as many other places I’ve tried and definitely not that authentic. But I was still good for Scotland.

Near to Transport Routes, Bus Stations and Shopping Malls. Accepted us without Appointments and made us feel thoroughly at Home

Customer service friendly. That’s where it ended. We had meatballs and spaghetti and seriously meatballs were worse than tinned ones. Like leather and hardly any sauce. The spaghetti tasted like water! No return for us I’m afraid.

Online order accepted and charged to my account. Went to pick it up before the alloted pick up time and it was closed! Now trying to get my money back.

Quite unimpressed being a chef my self albeit not Italian one ! Being under the French chez Roux team This would never have got out the kitchen The pizza should have been thin and crispy not thin and soggy ! Didn’t even feel properly cooked raw dough !!

Absolute terrible food and service. Expensive and horrible could not even eat dessert. Willl never return. Bruschetta was stone cold, white wine was warm, dinner took forever and tiramisu was like rubber cheese string

Quick dinner before heading to book signing - popped in and seated quickly even though no reservation made - staff on the whole were friendly. Ordered caprese salad, bruschetta all good, chicken Milanese good the pea and courgette risotto wasn’t a traditional risotto more boiled rice with peas and courgette added shame because it tasted nice Def be back liked the decor reasonably price

Starters, mains, desserts all very tasty. Highlight was outstanding, professional and friendly service from Melina. An asset to the company.

The good. Food was not bad at all. Not a bad sized portion on the set menu. The drinks were far too expensive, almost £4 for a glass of Fanta. Service wasn't very good either. Waiter was just ok, big gaps in taking order from when we arrived and didn't offer sauce or cheese. Probably wouldn't return

Worst place iv eaten . Food was disgusting husband hated his carbonara said he's had better ready meals , my main chicken malinease was cold , couldn't eat it . Starters was mozarella sticks took 45 min for them to come out . We said to the young boy about food and he only said he will pass info on to kitchen staff but nothing was done . So we paid for a meal didn't eat . Won't ever return again .

Nice evening meal as a family, relaxed and friendly staff and not a huge wait on food. We had three set menu meals and one main all good, except our son said the carbonara was not very flavoursome. Used the app which was easy, but didn’t have all the gelato flavours we ordered, that was our only gripe.

My 4 year old daughter and I visited Bella Italia on a Sunday evening. We had booked in advance and received a warm welcome from the waitress who showed us to our table. I was delighted with the table we were giving as it was a comfortable booth with plenty of room where my little one could play with some of her new toys she had bought that day without disturbing others. There was lots of great choice on the menu and also plenty for my daughter to choose from on the children's menu. We both really enjoyed our food, the portion sizes were just right too. It was a lovely dining experience with friendly quick service, a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. We will look forward to returning sometime. Thank you

Day visit to Glasgow & decided to have lunch here. Very quiet at 12 midday so managed to get table easily. Waiter attentive and friendly. Used our taste card for two meals for price of one. Orders arrived quickly and very tasty.

Lovely visit for my wife and my Christmas meal out on Thursday 21st December. Very friendly staff, fantastic food and drink plus we were able to use a coupon for a free main course for my birthday too! Would highly recommend!

idk what to call it, read and decide for yourself: I walked in there, ~10 mins waiting next to the 'wait to be seated' sign, nobody approached. Until a white old couple walked into the restaurant.. it wasn't even a minute and a waitress came to ask them in. it was the old lady who said 'I think you were before us" then I got finally acknowledged by the staff. It doesn't end there unfortunately; when I finally got seated on the fringes of the restaurant near the door, I picked up a menu that was near me, and waited patiently to order, while staff looking at me ready but never approach, I even called a waitress who walked past me if I could order, and as if she didn't hear me she didn't look my way. However a short while later she came back and asked do I need help! and in a dismissive tone she went "this is not the menu? who seated you here?"! props to her she apologised after I pointed out her tone to her, and explained that it's her colleague who seated me there without any further action or explanation. However, I was really put off at that stage and lost my appetite. I'm not a homeless btw, nor homeless looking dear reader if this is what you think might've been the case. However I'm brown.. I don't like thinking in this mentality, but I don't know what else I can make out of that occasion. Thanks also for whoever has put bag aside. I came back and picked it up.

The guy that somehow got the manager position here is rude, bad service which is such a shame because the food is great. Not surprised to see a good few other reviews pointing out the rude staff. If they’re bad at the top, don’t expect the rest to be much better. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Inverness bella italia is miles better when it comes to service.

Nicely decorated restaurant. The pizza is simply lovely, the cheesecake for dessert was good and the staff is superb.

Great location for a night out in the city centre. Amazing food and efficient service We will be back. A very lively atmosphere added to the occasion

Fantastic food, Fantastic Service and Fantastic decor. Felt very up market and fancy, and the reasonable prices made it.

Ok busy day today and wanted to eat at a nice looking restaurant about 8pm. As soon as walked into this very empty place was told no tables due to them being booked and the place was going to be busy in a short while, due to an Irish dance festival ending shortly. Ok we laughed as a tumble weed rolled by us and left. The guy by the counter kept looking at us as we laughed once again incredulously leaving the ghost town of a place and went elsewhere to eat. Guess what? came back after 30 minutes interrupting my tiramisu in the other fantastic restaurant we went to as it was only 30 seconds away and it was still empty!!! We even passed it after we finished in their rivals and still empty!! Why don’t they just say we don’t have enough chefs or waiters on to cope with even a small party? As for Irish dancers we know that these competitions are never on time and his rush never happened and the bookings he got either turned up much later or not at all as Irish dancing is exhausting for competitors but also for parents who had been there since 6am in the morning! So not very friendly, or busy or accommodating so go elsewhere like we did. Lovely family Italian restaurant just over the road. Authentic, family run and food and hospitality great compared to Bella Italia. AVOID

Delicious crispy based vegetarian pizza with excellent service from David who was very friendly and entertaining without being intrusive. A very enjoyable evening, would thoroughly recommend.
