Great food, wasted £1.65 on a garlic dip that we never got given, only realised when we were far away. What’s pizza without a garlic dip? :(

I waited 1 and a half hours for my food. When it arrived, it was freezing cold and didn’t taste nice

Wouldn’t even give the food 1 star ordered macaroni what an embarrassment serving someone that and charging them for food like that absolutely no sauce at all in macaroni basically dry pasta will never be ordering again

Servicio amable, pero comida abrumadora. Mi (relativamente caro) pasta de mariscos era *muy* ligero en los mariscos reales; una carbonara de otros comensales era demasiado salado - se sentían bastante enfermos después de la comida. Los baños estaban descuidados - la puerta no cerraba y teníamos frío en el restaurante - me puse la bufanda de nuevo. Con todo el servicio bueno, la comida y el lugar decepcionante. Pensábamos que no te puedes equivocar con la comida italiana, pero parece que sí.

I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, Now, I never usually write reviews however, I just feel like I need to share this, the pasta was drenched in oil, however, I took it home and reheated it and took a photo to show you, this would cause anyone a lot of health problems

Ordered at 6pm at 8:45 order was still saying preparing and never arrived at all even though it then suddenly said it had been delivered in the future - says delivered at 9:20 when it’s 8:57 right now

Nice service but food disappointing. Struggled to find chorizo on the chorizo pizza, it was tasteless and like eating a pizza base with tomato puree. Wouldn't rush back.

Good place for lunch, had a good meal here, only thing was the staff asked a little too often how was the food, good the staff care about the customers, but tone it down just a bit (was there for a lunch date).

Tristemente no impresionado. Tony Macaroni fue una gran característica en mi infancia y llegar a almorzar allí fue un gran placer. Desafortunadamente hoy no. No pude atraer la atención del personal, así que le pregunté al chef si tenían panecillos sin gluten para las hamburguesas. Con eso confirmado que pedí, solo para que me dijeran que la hamburguesa se serviría sin bollo. La camarera me dijo que pidiera pasta y no parecía entender. Los espaguetis boloñeses fueron decepcionantes. Primero trajeron pasta espiral, y tuvimos que rechazarla. Cuando llegaron los espaguetis, eran esencialmente pastas recubiertas en lugar de una porción real de boloñesa con espaguetis. El calzone era agradable, y vino como se ordenó. La camarera limpió algunos de los platos cuando todavía estábamos comiendo, y mientras hacía la lista de cosas que se esperarían de ella, hizo el mínimo absoluto. Se agregó un cargo por servicio del 10% a nuestra factura, y cuando revisamos el menú no se mencionó. Ate here on Thursday 16.1.25. The waitress left us while we were ordering, to serve another table. There was a mouse nesting in the disabled toilets, which we all had to use because the toilets were out of order. My pasta carbonara was too salty to eat. The waitress shook my bottle of ginger beer before handing it to me - obviously when I opened it, the drink fizzed up and over the top of the bottle. Was expecting some clowns to jump out on us, and squirt water from flowers. Really disappointing experience. To top it all, a ‘service’ charge was added to the bill. They should have paid us.

Courier “accidentally” gave our pasta to the wrong address, then offered us their food which was a Burger King burger, when we’re both vegetarian. Food itself was stone cold and inedible. Garlic bread was burnt to a crisp and pizza was undercooked. There was literally no positives to take from this meal

Pretty basic inside, didn't feel that clean.Pasta was odd, lot of garlic paste used rather than fresh.Pizzas..hard crust, most of us left it.Really just not great quality.Have been to Easterhouse outlet and it's much better.Server told us it was Broccoli soup but Mushroom arrived! Food was so bland and boring. The starter was more batter than chicken and the pesto chicken pasta had absolutely no flavour at all. Paid for parmesan which was left out. Waste of money.

Worst seevice and food I have experienced. Waited 10 mins to be seated, despite booking in advance. After seated waited another 20 min before anyone came near to take an order, then waited 50 mins for starter to arrive, luke warm, bland meatballs. Then waitress walked over and literally chucked our bill on the table, didn't even look at us let alone asked if the food was.ok when I may have been able.to say we had nit even had our mains! I had enough, had been there over an hr and half and only had a tasteless starter. I took bill to till and told them to take the mains off and left.

Service very slow. Food lacking taste. Food lacking meat. Overpriced for quality and service. Optional service charge added to bill, and made to look compulsory.

Service wasn’t the best waiters standing about not taking orders when I finally ordered my food after 15 mins of waiting the waitress was so quiet that I couldn’t hear what she was saying wouldn’t go back in a hurry

Absolute disappointment. From initial entry; trying to grab attention that we required a table, and then the wait time for service to the table. Being a Monday night with only 5 other tables occupied, once served we expressed that we needed to be quick for we had a concert to attend. The food was served quickly as requested, but no follow up of "more drinks?" or "is your meal OK" The food lacked any taste or substance. Very little meat in any dish, and the pasta was over cooked. This was our third and last visit to Tony Macaroni. At close to £100 for 3 starters, 4 mains and 4 drinks. We paid and left.

I am never one to leave a bad review but this was just shocking. Arrived to a huge queue outside the door, many people's tables weren't ready and no bar space for people to wait. We were taken to our booth, to find only one menu between 4 of us. However, this was rectified by a waitress around 15 minutes later. Waited around 25 minutes to have our order taken. All starters arrived minus one, that arrived 15 minutes later than the others, we had all finished by then! Tried to get the attention of a staff member to ask where the last starter was but it was impossible to get someone's attention. Caesar salad presentation was absolutely appalling. A pile of iceberg lettuce with about 3 croutons, soggy eggs and a measly amount of bacon & dressing. Pizza was ok. Macaroni cheese was AWFUL, did not come with garlic bread as advertised, pasta was soggy like it hadn't been drained, completely tasteless cheese sauce and no extra cheese or anything on top. Ive had better out of a 50p can. Ordered a second round of drinks that took about half an hour to come, we had finished our meals by then. Wanted to try dessert as the sundaes looked nice but after waiting to have our dessert order taken for a further 20 minutes we decided to get the bill instead. Took a further 15 minutes to pay. Decided to leave the service charge on as waitresses were nice and would have felt awkward saying no to their face. To top it off, only 2 of the 5 stalls in the women's toilets locked so there was a big queue.

Food is freezing cold, chips are reheats and the carbonara burger was put in a pizza box, sauce is everywhere but the burger, why is a saucy burger in a cardboard box???? Loads of space in the box do not even secure, pasta is stone cold, won’t be ordering again, expensive as well £50 down the drain thanks

Visited on Friday night with a group of 6 friends. To say that we were disappointed it’s an understatement. The staff (not the manager) were lost, confused and unmotivated. The drink order was a joke, the food was bland, delayed and overall a huge disappointment. The gratuity should have been removed from bills as it would make servers really serve. I would love to go back and help this establishment as it need some major love and care and bring it back to what it used to be. To the staff members that read it, I would suggest you find another job or get the motivation to be proud of what you do. To the kitchen staff, taste the food, teach others to help you out as your food is so awful you are losing the customers.

Absolutely awful food no flavour not Italian food at all For the Christmas offer of 3 course and only the dessert was nice. Very bland The bruschetta was just buttered bread absolutely no flavour and seasoning in anything Staff were nice If you are a fussy eater and like flavourless food then it’s perfect for you but if you like taste and flavour I wouldn’t recommend

Popped in for lunch after shopping & was disappointed. Got the calamari for starter & it was the thinest piece of calamari with lots of batter so absolutely no flavour from the squid as it was tiny also overcooked as it wld be being so small. Main was spaghetti bol with Garlic bread wich was burnt black around all the edges. The spaghetti was bland with no salt or pepper just watery, garlic tomato sauce. Floor & table where both sticky. Toilets where clean although they where just open for lunch. 10% Added to bill without asking??? Disappointed. Avoid as expensive.

My son loves Toni Macaroni so we booked for both nights of our weekend away. Enjoyed our meal, never let's us down. Good to see the place busy and service was quick

Dramatic, disrespect to Italian food

No longer a great example of the Toni Macaroni experience, it's a little dated, the food isn't as good here compared to the other Toni Macaroni restaurants I've been to recently.

Waited an hour for food. Pizzas were good, but 2 different risottos dishes were not cooked properly, and Grigliata Mista di Carne meat was bland and tough.

Went to West George Street tonight with other half and 3 kids. This is as good as it gets. Got seated and after 20 minutes finally got offered drinks. At this point I then spotted a mouse run past and under a cabinet, a member of staff saw this and with an other member of staff proceeded to conduct a phone torch search. I confirmed she had saw a mouse. I should have left at this point but the kids like pasta. After an hour and no food we asked a member of staff what was holding up the food she said she'd find out, she didn't. After another 20 minutes we approached the assistant manager who politely palmed us off and instructed staff to make enquires. Eventually after over an hour then food arrived it was ok. One member of staff whose name I didn't get was apologetic and helpful we tipped her as we left. This problem was not unique to ourselves. One table near us, left after 25 minutes as they had not been served. In Summary service was appalling food was just ok and the mouse remains on the run and unexplained. We won't return

Worst food I’ve eaten in a long time …. Disappointed is an understatement

The Salmon Fish with Mashed Potato was yummy 😋 I enjoyed eating and forgot to take a picture. I also ordered the mashed Mix Berries drink.

Went for meal with family . Took 15 minutes to bring menus . Another 10 minutes before order was taken. When the food came the Carbonara which 3 of us ordered was in a small help in middle of plate and did not look like any Carbonara I had ever had before. It was totally tasteless it had no creamy sauce it was just dry and tasteless. We did complain but they took my sister's away and brought this same back. Was totally disappointed with the food.

Waiting for food was too long which took nearly 35-40 minutes. We didn’t enjoy the food. Felt it was below average. Thanks!

Nos topamos con este encantador establecimiento por accidente cuando en Glasgow el domingo 3 de noviembre. Nuestro plan original era ir a comer a un pub en algún lugar antes de registrarnos en nuestro hotel. Después de visitar dos pubs separados (de gran cadena) cuyas cocinas estaban fuera de servicio, nos topamos con Tony's en el camino de regreso a nuestro hotel. El personal era muy acogedor en cuanto entramos. Sentados en una hermosa cabina junto a la ventana. Tuvimos una agradable charla con la encantadora dama y caballero que nos atendió - chicos muy atentos - gracias. La comida era excepcional, y las porciones eran enormes. Mi pobre esposa es pequeña, y ni siquiera logró hacer mella en su plato de Macarrones. Creo que el personal inicialmente pensó que no le gustaba su comida jajaja - le encantó, simplemente demasiada porción para ella. Tenía una hamburguesa con queso y tocino, y la calidad era fantástica. También lo lavaron con una botella de rojo. Excelente comida a excelentes precios con excelente servicio - no más almuerzos pub para nosotros cuando en Glasgow - vamos a venir directamente aquí en su lugar!

Aglio e olio was like a vindaloo. One forkful and I was done. Table next to me had a pile of chillies he had picked of his pizza. Sent it back. Only thing I was offered was a glass of milk and they could take off service charge. 😂. It’s a chain but please taste the food.

The food was decent, but adding a tip without asking deserves 2 stars. I advise avoiding places like this. This isn’t America.

Nothing really remarkable regarding the food. Normal attention, friendly. Excessive prices for the type of food they serve.

Order it through just eat waiting nearly 2 hours on delivery when it came it was the wrong order I ordered 2 macaroni’s and ended up with pizza chips and other stuff phoned to say about it and ask for the right order to be sent out. The man on the phone was very cheeky to me and my partner saying it’s not his and he can’t help us so we ended up having to go down to the place which was another £20 to get there and back on top of the £28 we where for the food, when we turned up he was being nice and remade the food then when we walked out shouting it’s not our fault I work in food myself and know there was a better way to deal with this would not recommend this to anyone!

Love Tony macaroni and usually have a good experience ordering it but this time was really disappointing for the amount of money spent to get wet pasta as if it hasn’t been drained properly and there was no sauce in site just dry meat on top with zero flavour hopefully this can be resolved as for how expensive it can be effort should be made into making sure customers have good and edible food

Had a fab nite and meal for my besties birthday. Staff were brilliant.

I have been at this restaurant before but this time I really enjoyed my evening! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendly service. Our waiter Asi, was very knowledgeable and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. He asked what we fancy for dinner and his recommendations on food and drinks were excellent! This place is getting far better than it was before. Great service!

My friend and I both came for a dinner before a night out. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. She had carbonara and I had macaroni . It was not cooked properly cheese was like water and the cheese was clumped to my fork. Been sick all night and a sore stomach and she is the same. Won’t be back

Where do I even start? I've been to many Tony macaroni's and this has to be the worst of them all by a mile and the reason is the last part of my review Last weekend me and my sister decided to come here for food before a concert cause it's easy and comfort food to us Started off good by just walking in and being able to get a table straight away, drinks were taken about 5 mins later (two milkshakes) waited another 5/10 mins for them. The restaurant itself wasn't busy when we walked in, maybe 8 other tables. The drinks came and they weren't even half full.. but we thought okay it tastes good but we won't say anything. Girl who took our order didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing, or what pasta we ordered as 10 mins later another girl came over and asked us what we had ordered. Food came out about half hour of us being there (gepate style two half pizza and pasta and a bowl of chips) Our chips were taken to another table opposite us who had only just sat down 5 mins before. Right enough they came over and apologise and made us a fresh bowl. The pizza was good, had a nice taste but the pasta was flavourless at best. The chips came but were absolutely drenched in the cajiun seasoning so we weren't able to eat them. The portions of the food themselves were very small comapred to the ones I'd get at the same restaurant back home, but we didn't complain about anything. We then ordered two ice cream sundaes as we always do whenever we go to a restaurant and to call it ice cream is generous. It was hard to even scoop onto the spoon, it had bits of ice in it and it tasted like it had been sat in the freezer for months upon months. When the bill came, we we noticed that there was an 'optional service charge' on the receipt. When the girl came over with the card machine for me to pay, she never even asked if I wanted to add it on or not so we got charged the extra £6 odd pound. Now I might be wrong in saying this but I've never heard of such a thing at Tony macaroni. I've been to plenty in many cities and this is the first time I've ever came across a service charge and especially NOT to be asked if you want to pay the 'optional' service charge considering its OPTIONAL... baffled me Never in my life have I been so disappointed and upset with a restaurant. This was the worst experience I've ever had and will NOT be going back or recommending it to anyone

Not the best experience. Had to return my main meal to the kitchen as chicken was undercooked. Very rubbery and difficult to cut. Would also say the onion rings were undercooked too. Staff not very apologetic about the error

Visited for lunch today to be the ONLY table in, instant red flag, was told to sit there when we entered, no one served us for about 10/15 minuets staff were just messing about on the computer, food was 10/10 as always no complaints there, our lovley meal was interrupted when the waitress comes over and asks if we are done when he had half a plate full and were obviously still eating, just very unwelcoming staff and made us feel super uncomfortable our full visit,there being a service charge on the bill is a bit of a joke when your barley even served, as a hospitality worker myself i was appalled at the staff here! WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS BRANCH

We were in yesterday 14.09.24 for a meal before heading out for the night. The machines were down for taking the orders so there was a bit of a wait but our server Jessica was fantastic explaining & apologising for our wait. Being kept informed made the difference 👍

Experience was terrible. Got seated on a ripped up booth, table wasn't cleaned and had to ask for drink as no staff came over to take order once seated, their attitude was also dissapointing. Food was poor, restaurant was quiet and still took ages to come out. Had the risotto which was over salted and still hard, 'garlic chips' that had a few bits of lazy garlic stuck on top and all parties have stomach issue the next day...will definitely not be back.

This establishment used to be busy years ago however it seems to have taken a massive dip which is really sad. Upon booking a table I was the first customer to arrive in the afternoon, the toilets had no hand wash, most alcoholic beverages were out of stock, the floor was littered with crumbs and food from the previous day. The two women who seemed to be running the place looked like sisters, their body language gave the impression they seemed very unhappy and depressed which is a shame. The restaurant had a very death sentence vibe, the food however arrived super fast (being the only customer) and did taste 10/10. Hope this restaurant can get back on its feet and continue its business at the usual higher standards.

The menu is good, plenty of seating and we were offered a quiet part of the restaurant for our business meeting. But Jessica was amazing in the way she served not just our table, but all the tables. She was constantly checking to make sure everyone had what they needed.

The food was lacking. In that they lacked the food we ordered and then waited half an hour to tell us. They also had none of the six beers the menu said they had on draft or any cider either. Staff seem to not understand wanting enough cutlery for the people seated and also cannot comprehend being asked for a jug of water for the table. The manager appears to be hanging on to his sanity by a thread. Avoid at all costs.

I’m not one to use hyperbole normally, but this was truly awful. Steer clear. I’ll summarise, my family’s lunch time experience in the Glasgow City Centre branch. -Understaffed. It Took 25 minutes to order, the staff were visibly stressed despite the restaurant only being a third full at best. -No pizza dough! We waited best part of an hour for our pizzas only to be told they had no dough! - big slash in the booth seat. Grim vibes So not only did we leave with no lunch and two hungry distraught kids, they had the cheek to charge us for our drinks! This place seems to be on its knees and looks like it won’t last much longer, especially if this is their best offer.

Great service, huge portions and good atmosphere at an excellent price point. We were in Glasgow for the day and tried 2 other Italian restaurants however they were reservation only even though they were half empty, I thought they were joking but Tony Macaroni welcomed us and I'm glad we went. Truly loved the focaccia pomodoro and the Pollo alla Mariescalo which were large and full of flavor, highly recommend this gem

Food was a bit disappointing. Carbonara not much flavour, spaghetti was very al dente. Glad I included peas. A lot of the sauce had leaked out into the bag and the cheesecake was packed with the hot food meaning it was warm and runny.

Walked in to Tony Macaroni on a Tuesday at 1940 and asked for a table. Wah told by a young lady that the kitchen was closed. She kindly motioned towards the kitchen...it's closed.....wth Tomy Macaroni?

This only got a single star because I couldn't give zero....went in today with my young daughter and sister for a quick bite to eat..1 starter , deep fried mushrooms, 2 cheese burgers with chips and 2 Sundaes...never again ... including us there was 2 or 3 other customers in the place ...several members of staff in the kitchen and 3 on the floor...took ages for the food to come, starter was hardly nice to look at...then the cheese burgers came...bland wasn't the word...chips weren't the best...then best of all...Kitchen Staff standing biting his nails in full view..20 minutes wait for the ice cream... decided to just get the bill and leave..looked like no Management in the place..don't waste your time and money...

I’d just like to say, food and service wise it was perfectly fine. However, this is a genuine question as to why Christmas music is being played in JULY??!!! Please play appropriate music for the season?

Rarely eaten such tasteless pasta with meatballs. I would have liked to at least have something to drink, but while our neighboring table was checked four times to make sure everything was okay, my empty glass and the noodles that were slowly getting cold were ignored. However, there was another operator in charge, so maybe the lady with the braces is still learning. It wasn't a bad thing that my friend had to steal a napkin from the next table because we only got one. But a little more attention would have brought more tips.

Food was good and the waitress was nice my only issue was the £7 service charge, bear in mind we are 4, 14/15/16 year old girls going out for a meal, my friend had to put extra money in to cover it as we didn’t have enough and we weren’t given the option to remove the charge.

Does not live up to it"s name! Macaroni ?? Ive seen better come out of a tin! I don"t think there"s an Italian on the premises! Stick to family owned and run Italian restaurants, and not mock chains.

Terrible place we were sat at benches where the material was ripped. The tables were filthy with chewing gum stuck underneath as my daughter found out when she git her dress stuck. The waitress was abrupt but I think that was so to do with her poor English and understanding. The dish my daughter has was good she said it was chicken and creamy past, my son had macaroni cheese but tbe sent out plain pasta we had to ask for cheese. I have the king prawn and saffron risotto which was bland with 4 prawns and very oily. It was so bad I couldn't eat it. We won't be back it was simply awful

Whilst visiting Glasgow I visited, since I regularly get food in the Dundee branch of Tony Macaroni I figured it would be safe and up to the same quality. However the atmosphere of the restaurant was gloomy and almost slummy, it was dim and damp. The service was alright though the staff were dressed in a casual t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. The food was bland and served sloppily - in comparison to Dundee it was just awful.

came here after a major stomach surgery looking forward to being able to try a small pizza like I used to have a year ago. Staff looked no older than 20, not even a smile when we walked in. Showed to our table with no words and left. When they came back asked for our drinks my boyfriend ordered a water and me an orange juice. I inquired about the kids menu and got a laugh and a “you’re not under 8, it’s for kids only”. feeling a bit humiliated I explained I couldn’t eat anything on the main menu due to the size. The girl asked “why”. (Something you should never ask in restaurants/retail). I explained I have had stomach surgery to which she, and I kid you not, offered me a half portion (at full price) but only of pasta. Something I cannot eat. when I seemed shock she just smiled and shrugged. A total lack of care for anything. My boyfriend got his lasagna, it was for lack of a better word disgusting. drenched in sauce and water. And my orange juice was toasty warm. please avoid this restaurant and its staff at all costs. I feel horrified at this branch. If you’re still after it, the fort is a *much* better Toni macaroni branch.

We all had really tasty pizzas, these came quick, we all really enjoyed them and the price was brilliant! The service was friendly and quick. We couldn't fault it. We also had a great table, a booth at the window to people watch.

Has awful rubbery halloumi fries and service was slow. Don't recommend even as a last resort.

Had spicey chicken breast today. I have to say it was one of the best meals ever. My wife had salmon with crispy skin and mash and she said hers was amazing especially the potatoes. It looked just amazing. A great meal around 3pm and great service and drinks. Thank you all so very much. 😁

Its was not a nice place walls were dirty tables were not great the garlic bread was like fried bread the mac n cheese was not mac n cheese it was pasta with runny gooey sauce the chips were undercooked.. deffo will not be back

The food was okay but I was missing spices and the portion wasn't particularly large. Good Cider though.

I am big fan of all the Toni Macaroni chain. They do really great pizza and Italian food. Great cocktails too. This one is centrally located in Glasgow but perhaps lacks a little of the atmosphere some other branches have but still a good and fun place to eat.

Went here for a quick bite to eat after work - wasn’t expecting 5 star dining but was not expecting it to be as poor as it was. Place was quite empty with nice booths sitting empty and we were sat in a very small table in the corner. Ordered food and drinks which was fine. Should’ve known when our food only took 4/5 mins to come out. The chicken risotto was on a spread out on a plate normally risotto would come in a pasta bowl or serving dish not a standard pizza plate. It was just dry rice with very little watery sauce poured over. It had no flavour and was very poor. The Cajun pasta I think had been microwaved as some pieces of pasta were dry and crunchy at the sides while others were very soft and others very al dente. Had a side of onion rings as well. Didn’t taste like onions though tasted more like mash potatoes in onion ring form and were very mushy. Very disappointing. The waitress was nice enough to take all the food off the bill and let us only pay for drinks as we hadn’t even made a dent in our food and was not planning on eating anymore of it. She didn’t even seem shocked by what we had said seems like she’s heard it quite a bit. Sad but won’t be back

The portion sizes where a disgrace. My daughters kids portion was bigger than my pasta dish. Pasta with 0 meat is literally the cheapest thing on the menu and they gave us about 8 bits. Full price menu for lunch time as well. When I spoke with the waiting staff, they argued with me about it. Eventually returned it to the kitchen who then growled at me the entire time I was there. Won't waste my time coming back here. Plenty of other affordable better quality small businesses to spend your money at than this hell hole. Dreadful service and medicore food. AVOID

Good portion sizes, great quality food

Service atrocious place was pretty much empty. Server had attitude problem. Dessert menu said nardini ice cream. Which is a lie came straight from a tub disgusting yellow trash. Used to be a great place. Never again

We went to lunch and the food wasn't good at all. It was barely hot and the time it took between ordering and receiving the food wasn't even 10 minutes. My food tasted like it was reheated and it was very sloppy. Tony macaroni is really good but this branch really let their standards down

I didn’t receive what I ordered and the food was ruined

Starters were lovely, but 3 out of 4 main course dishes were wrong. The gluten free pasta came out with no chillies and tasting bland, they came back and said they had no pork so would chicken do? That was agreed but it came out with a mustard sauce instead of a mushroom sauce. The vegetables came out in a different dish. Waiter constantly tried to say that it was a mushroom sauce. They asked was it mashed potatoes or chips with a three pepper sauce chicken then brought out only the potatoes. We had to ask for the rest of the meal which was brought out 10 minutes later with a black pepper sauce. An extra fish meal which wasn't asked for was delivered and extra olives. Staff didn't seem to have a clue. It wasn't even that busy. Definitely won't be back here. I am a regular at the Motherwell restaurant and have never known the food to be so bad or the service

This location was amazing! We had a lovely sized portion of food, every staff member made it an experience and were so patient with us. We appreciate their kindness and support as we can be nervous diners! I loved the decorations and quality of food also. I recommend this place to all, and fully look forward to visiting again soon.

Very dated atmosphere, inappropriate music for clientele, food mediocre and not worth the money. I had 4 mozzarella sticks, 5 mushrooms followed by a prawn pasta which was ok and a tasteless, watery contadina. Staff only appeared to bring food. No attempt to ask if food was ok. Also paid £8 for a glass of wine which was roasting but no staff to approach.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely hostess but she didn't leave her name. The place was clean and busy, but the service was slow and lacked fun, nobody asked if we had any allergies, when we got the food it was placed on the table not advised plates are hot (other places warn guests of hot dishes) the food lacked flavour and was missing sides ie chips or garlic bread. No check backs done. Left feeling unhappy but we won't be back

Whilst away on business, I decided to order a Deliveroo from here of Gluten Free Penne Pomodoro and a side of chips. Whilst the takeaway didn't take long to arrive, I'm afraid to say the quality of the food was diabolical: the Pomodoro sauce had more oil than in the river Clyde! The sauce was literally swimming in it and as a result, the sauce had completely lost its flavour. To add to insult, the chips were undercooked. I'm frankly shocked that such basic dishes could be so badly done, and I think this establishment needs to look at their chef team and retrain them in the basics. Upon speaking to the restaurant directly to give them feedback they didn't care: they were more interested in continually explaining they were very busy with at the end a very hollow, insincere apology. They may be one of the cheaper restaurants in the city compared to others but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I'd encourage you to try Glasgow's many other excellent restaurants and as a result, I won't be ordering from here again.

Today I visited The silverburn site.I got overcooked macaroni Slightly warm bread which was suppose to be toasted. When I complained the waiter argued that reason for bread being warm was because it was toasted in Pizza oven. The macaroni he felt nothing was wrong with it saying it was the same standard in all Tony Macaroni sites. I could not understand why he became so defensive was totaly hostile towards my self. Doubt I be visiting any Toni Macaront again if what I recived in food and service today is their best standard to top.it all we had a service charge added to the bill.
